i don't really know about any upsides to fame. no gains besides a little voice, whispering in my ear. there’s relief, perhaps, in being spotlit but a mountain of growth to keep it that way. a hot seat can and will burn me if I am comfortable.

it should be a good thing. i am a creator. i like being seen. and yet, all i ever hear is:

What are your thoughts on Amy being diagnosed with schizophrenia from her experiences with the Lost Cities?

As in her belief in elves/goblins/etc. as real, having memories that "never happened" (e.g. her parents' kidnapping), being diagnosed as schizophrenia?

That would require her to talk about her experiences, which I find very unlikely. She knows no one will believe her, and she knows its highly illegal/prohibited. If she proves she can't keep her mouth shut, she risks them taking her memories and potentially uprooting her family again; I can't imagine she'd be willing to risk that.

Unless you're talking about a general paranoia she has, such as mentioned here. That could get picked up on by other people, but even if brought before a professional I don't think schizophrenia is the diagnosis they'd go with.

Or do you mean perhaps exposure to elven foods, substances, etc. as a human/the extreme prolonged stress of the situation created some kind of chemical imbalance and she develops schizophrenia? I think the stress one would be most likely, but I'm not sure that's what you meant.

I am also worried about it. But it seems to me that you cannot undo months and months of overworking yourself with a few days of rest. Sleep debt alone takes time to recover, to say nothing of the hundreds of microtears in its muscles that have gotten their first chance to heal in months.
