in short, i liked the sex scenes in the sense of i don’t feel they were rushed, too long, vulgar, etc. i felt each scene had a purpose.

the first one i wasn’t expecting to see… everything? LOL which by everything i mean i wasn’t ready for a wiener in my face like 10 mins in. however! sets the vibe, and also kinda prepares (?) you for the rest of the movie.

the later one (which has been leaked), i personally thought it was well done. i think both drew and daniel were fantastic. i cannot claim to know what m/m sex looks like, but i thought for a movie… it was good. didn’t think it lasted too long nor was it rushed.

i’ll throw in the bj scene as well (also leaked) - i think the whole scene leading up to it was funny, broke a lot of tension, and then it was passionate?? no dialogue but i don’t think it needed it.

long story long, i also didn’t feel like this had a “peach” scene like cmbyn did, but also shows you what’s kinda desired? i didn’t feel like the challengers did so i appreciated “seeing behind the curtain” if you wanna call it that?

Queer anon here 🫶 I was wondering about like… the chemistry between Daniel & Drew, how the “romance” goes between Lee and Eugene. Some people say it’s a one-sided deal, some others say there’s genuinely love only “out of sync” and I was curious to know your impression of it!

AGHH YES! okay so this is PURELY my take on the film. pls see below!

i felt it was very one sided for a while. i personally felt eugene was more closeted, not as confident in his sexuality. i’ll fully admit that i’ve spoken to people who had read the book, so they may know more than me, but my take on solely the film, one sided(ish) for maybe 50%.

SPECIFIC spoilers below so read at your own discretion. (at least from slight plot points??)

i think it was very much a closeted man while they were in mexico, but lee gives eugene the choice to come to south america with him,l. eugene makes the choice to go with him, which in my mind, confirmed the homosexuality more than he was letting on. in my mind, eugene is very much bisexual which i believe everyone can agree with??! pls prove me wrong if you’ve read the book or have opposing thoughts i would love to hear them tbh.

when they’re in south america- i believe this is when it’s all really forward that eugene likes lee. at least LIKES.

i am no trying to spoil any bit of the movie from this anon, if you would like to discuss further i am happy to with another anon or off anon!!!
