My theory about “the truth about halkenburg’s birth” is that his mother is queen unma. I don’t know how or why that would be the case (there could be multiple reasons tho to want a certain prince to be affiliated with a certain queen, for its various implications) but just physically come on you HAVE to point out he looks so much like her and benjamin too. They’re the only 3 characters with that nose.

(Tsubeppa also has the same big square chin as benjamin and halkenburg tho. A counter-argument against “halkenburg is unma’s child not duazul’s” since she is allegedly his sister and duazul’s child)

Meanwhile nasubi and duazul are supposedly his parents

Togashi is great at character design between related characters. It’s smth he obviously is considering well when designing them. These 2 objectively do not look like this guy’s biological parents at all. Now there’s also the beyond child possibility, true, but that would mean beyond is the father, the mother still being duazul (altho the mother could be unma and the father beyond technically lol. That would be pretty wild imagine neither of his parents are actually his parents). Not that much of an upgrade in terms of resemblance, and it’s still unma, the mother, whose nose and features in general he has.

An implication of this would be that the 9th prince and the 1st prince are both the 1st queen’s. That’s quite the age difference. Halkenburg is definitely younger than he looks. Quasi certainly in his 20s, I bet on early 20s. It’s not like you can fake his age without him or anyone else ever knowing/noticing… So he must still be the 9th prince, younger than (6) taithon, (7) luzurus and (8) salé-salé, and older than (10+11) kachô and fûgetsu.

The thing is that whatever it is, there is something there. the letter tells us. There’s a “truth about his birth”. So him being actually unma’s child seems very possible.

Now I have even less idea how or why they would have pulled that off but let me shoot this theory in the air just because I thought of it: considering the 2 facts of:

Halkenburg (allegedly duazul’s child) looks like unma and not duazul

Tserriednich (allegedly unma’s child) does not look like unma (or nasubi, reallly), but has finer features, which could work with duazul being his mother

What about: their mothers are reversed. There could always be a reason if you think enough and make assumptions about characters’ motivations.

Again the other explanation for tserri’s not looking like the child of unma and nasubi is that he’s beyond’s child. Maybe. He does look like netero. That would make beyond and unma his parents tho. When to me nasubi is the one I can see being his dad if he doesn’t take much from him, while the only thing he has in common with unma is blond hair (i assume? that unma’s hair is blond?), which most other queens and princes have.

Obviously genetics are not this simple and can skip generations. We can see tserri being beyond’s child because he looks like young netero, even when he doesn’t look like beyond. There’s no reason why the other princes can’t take after a grandparent. But we have no way of knowing that, so. What do you want me to do about it. and it would be unsatisfying for it to be the case when we had no way of knowing. Pointless thought either way.

There’s again the possibility that tserri is beyond’s and duazul’s child, and let’s go all out, that halkenburg is nasubi’s and unma’s. Orchestrated by beyond obviously. Honestly a switcharoo between queens would just be a very easy little extra act at this point in beyond’s intricate plan, but blur the tracks much more. Low effort high reward; assuming he wants/needs to keep his prince child a secret. And assuming longhi is right about this entire premise ofc. There’s also the question of how it would work and how would tserri and halkenburg not know or ever notice.

I will say it is strange to me that tserri would be beyond’s child and not know nen until now, but that’s a subject for another time.

Great chapter. Let's analyze it and theorize a tiny little bit.

First, we've got Salkov (Tserriednich's bodyguard) saying that he can use Zetsu from birth. This seems to confirm that he is another one of Beyond's secret children.

Something similar happens with Halkenburg, as Kacho's note reveals ‘the truth about his own birth’. However, I think this is a Red Herring: not only would it be too obvious, but it doesn't suit Togashi to reveal the prince fathered by Beyond so soon (the chapter right after the reveal, no less). What does Kacho's letter refer to, then? One theory I've seen on Reddit is that Halkenburg is actually the son of Unma (the first queen) and not Duazul (the second). I'll leave here the link to the theory, although I warn you that it's enormously speculatory and there's a lot of headcanon involved.

I'm also intrigued about what's the information that could ‘shake the very foundation of the succession contest’. Melody says that she ‘doesn't want any more princes to become sacrifices’, so this could confirm the theory that the princes are ultimately a sacrifice to King Nasubi himself (link to the theory here).

Another strange element is how casually they mention ‘evil spirits’, despite the fact that something like that has never been established before. Perhaps they are literal spirits, or perhaps (more likely), just as there is a certain type of nen attack commonly called a ‘curse’, there is another type commonly called an ‘evil spirit’.

That's all for this chapter. There's more I could talk about: Tubeppa's nen beast, Balsamico's plans to kill Halkenburg, the possibility of Luzurus not being the one that caused Fugetsu's condition, etc… But I think we have so little information about that stuff, that any theory would become way too speculative.

reasons why i think slakka is the user of silent majority

the assassin says that everything is as "our side" expected, meaning that they are not working alone

silent majority spared the guards of the first two queens (information withheld from the readers and that we only know from the briefest glimpse at togashi's notes for oito's guards)

the first two queens have an unequal partnership where duazul defers to unma

camilla is proactive in the succession battle and orders her mother around

   It had barely been two days since Hisoka’s arrival and due to some so-called “business in town”, he couldn’t – or wouldn’t - leave yet. He actually seemed to be settling in quite nicely.

   Much to yours and Chrollo’s chagrin.

   While he wasn’t staying with you, Hisoka was still a pain in the ass almost 24/7. He’d tried to convince you to stay with you, as your guest, even being okay with sleeping on the couch. And Chrollo was, honestly, terrified of the idea of you accepting and what Hisoka staying with the two of you - for who knows how long - would mean: no way of getting some privacy, the bathroom being occupied for longer because of Hisoka’s rigorous beauty routine, the food being eaten at a faster rate, Hisoka’s whining and complaining, plus his silent threats and glares whenever you and Chrollo would do anything other than stay away from one another (preferably in other rooms).

   Luckily, even you knew that what Hisoka wanted was something you weren’t willing to accept, so you told him (nicely) that he’d have to go to the nearest hotel. He could afford it, it wasn’t very far away from you and he could call if he ever needed anything. Of course, Hisoka complained loudly and you rolled your eyes as Chrollo was on the couch, reading, while you and your twin brother were in the kitchen, trying to discuss quietly and rationally. Keyword being “trying”.

   “Hiso, I know you better than anyone else. And I know exactly how it would be to have you stay here. You’re my brother and I love you, but if I find your make-up over my vanity one more time or I find my favourite sweets gone, I think I’ll smother you with a pillow in your sleep.”

   “I won’t leave my make-up there then~ ♦️”

   “But you’ll keep eating my sweets. Anyway, that wouldn’t matter much. I know what you’re trying to do and believe me, it won’t work.” You smiled as you raised an eyebrow, waiting for his comeback. Chrollo smiled as he heard you. Well, if he thought Hisoka was annoying, then you were an amazing person for putting up with him and knowing exactly what to do and say to put him in his place.

   “But I’m not trying to do anything~ ♠️”

   “Yeah, sure, and I’m the Second Queen Duazul. You’re not fooling me, Hiso, you know that~” You winked before patting his cheek as if he was a child. “Call me if you need anything~” You said as you picked your intact sweets and taking a seat next to Chrollo, whose arm went around you as he continued reading and you watched TV, resting your head on his shoulder and munching on your treats. Hisoka felt like grinding his teeth at the display, but sighed in an aggravated manner and left to pack the things he’d slowly (and purposely) laid around your place to wordlessly establish that he’d be staying with you.

   A few hours later, Hisoka, reluctantly, left your place, with you and Chrollo, who was holding you from behind, bidding him farewell for the night. You swore he moved and packed everything slowly, just trying to stall until it was too late and to make you take pity on him and let him stay the night. A deduction, which was actually correct, and that made your boyfriend chuckle. You were great at detecting and intuiting what your twin’s plans and thoughts were. And you were definitely the better one (in pretty much every way) if Chrollo was honest.

   He was honestly glad that he got to spend time with you without being interrupted by Hisoka’s immaturity. Despite the ongoing plan of finding a Nen Exorcist, with your twin still around, Chrollo was getting just a little bit restless. He couldn’t use his Nen, he was worried about the Spiders and he was still grieving for those he’d lost. Hisoka dilly-dallying wasn’t making it any better.

   Almost a week later, Chrollo was just coming out of a bookstore, a bag, with a fresh batch of books (most of them bought) for the two of you, slightly dangling as he kept walking. You were out with Hisoka, spending your time together since you’d told him about how fussy he could get if he didn’t receive his dose of attention from you. Again, another thing about Hisoka that seemed so natural to you and that amused Chrollo greatly. Hisoka certainly didn’t look like the type who would listen to you, yet some things are never what they seem to be.

   At the sight of one of your favourite coffee shops, Chrollo entered with the intention of surprising you with one of your favourite desserts after dinner that night. You were always so adorable in his eyes when you’d hug him tightly while thanking him for doing something like that for you. And he appreciated whenever you’d share it with him, despite Chrollo not having much of a sweet tooth. But you were too cute when you were so happy sharing something you liked with him.

   Chrollo left, already a bit excited for the night from his little daydreaming session, before he stopped and looked to his right, where one of the biggest parks in the city was situated. That bloodlust couldn’t be anyone else’s.

   “Take this!” Your boyfriend heard your voice, his eyes widening a bit as he saw Hisoka jump, a smile on his face. The water balloon hit the spot where he’d been just a second before. Another series of them followed, some exploding from Hisoka’s cards, letting the water fall over other people, while some were grabbed by his Bungee Gum and thrown at you. One hit you in the side and you laughed as you prepared more ammunition. Some people were cursing and grumbling while others were amused. The kids around the two of you seemed to be having fun, at least. You were only targeting Hisoka and wanted to make the kids laugh whenever you hit him. Hisoka, on the other hand, kept dodging, letting some of your water balloons hit unsuspecting people…because that’s how much of a jerk Hisoka was. Though, you were always quick to yell out apologies between your running and laughter.

   Chrollo kept staring, stuck between a mix of emotions: adoration, curiosity and even a bit of fear for you. You were almost like a kid yourself: laughing, having fun, running around and playing. Hisoka’s eyes glanced at Chrollo, almost as if he knew he’d been there the entire time, and smirked. Your boyfriend raised an eyebrow, almost challenging him to do or say something, before he covered his mouth to prevent himself from smiling too widely when one of your balloons hit Hisoka straight in the face. He couldn’t help smiling when he heard you laughing as one of the kids high-fived you, with another telling you how cool you were.

   Hisoka glared at you, half playfully, his hair now down and dripping with water, while his make-up was smudged and running down his cheeks. He easily grabbed some of your water balloons with his Bungee Gum and brought them to his side, making you gulp.

   “That wasn’t very nice of you~ ♣️” You gulped at his sickly sweet tone as you took a step back, urging the kids to move out of the way. Hisoka could be…unpredictable sometimes, even if you knew him so well. Chrollo took a few steps forward when he sensed the increase in bloodlust. You might’ve been twins, but he knew that Hisoka wasn’t just anyone. Chrollo was scared you might get hurt, despite being Hisoka’s twin and only family, and he felt helpless knowing he couldn’t do much, if anything, to protect you if needed be.

   Sensing the increasing bloodlust, people started exiting the park or at least pulling back, leaving you to face your twin brother at the same time your boyfriend was getting closer to the two of you. Seeing his approaching figure, you glanced at Chrollo as you took a defensive stance, ready to protect the both of you if Hisoka tried anything. You were sure he wouldn’t hurt you – too badly, at least – but you weren’t so sure about Chrollo.

   Hisoka had made it pretty clear that he wasn’t too fond of Chrollo, though none of them seemed to tell you why. You chalked it up to Hisoka being the protective brother while Chrollo was just your polite, but defiant boyfriend when it came to your relationship since he wouldn’t break up with you just because of your brother.

   “Hisoka, don’t do anything stupid or I swear…” You threatened him, the open palm of one hand facing your boyfriend to make him stop before he came too close.

   “You’ll do what, exactly, hm~? ♦️”

   “Beat you up like when we were kids.”

   “That was only once, (Y/N)~ ♥️”

   “I can still beat you up, wanna see?” You smirked, ready to take him on. You had your own water balloons ready, using Gyō to see where your twin brother’s Bungee Gum was. The moment he took a step forward you jumped releasing some of the balloons, one exploding and splashing the side of his leg while most of his balloons blew up as soon as he released them in the air, most of the water pouring over you and also Chrollo, though he managed to avoid most of it by jumping away.

   Chrollo sighed when he saw that you both moved further away from him, luring Hisoka as well, though he did throw a few more towards him, trying to hit your boyfriend. Which he managed once, making Chrollo look at him with a deadpan expression as his soaked shirt clung to his skin.

   By the time you were done and coming to your boyfriend’s side, you were smiling widely as water dripped down from the top of your head to your soaked clothes as you gave him a kiss on the cheek, making him smile a little.

   “I won!” You laughed as you looked at him happily before glancing at Hisoka, sticking your tongue out childishly while he glared back, though there was a smile on his face.

   “Don’t get ahead of yourself, I let you win~ ♠️” You laughed before nodding, rolling your eyes when you turned back towards your boyfriend. He squeezed you closer to his body with a quirk of his lips, despite the wet clothes becoming colder, which in turn made you both shiver a bit before you started feeling warmer.

   “Care to tell me what this was all about, love?” Your boyfriend asked, the two of you still hugging while Hisoka wiped his ruined make-up off his face, though his attention was on the two of you. He didn’t like how close you two were to one another. He should’ve bound Chrollo with his Bungee Gum and hit him with all of the balloons. The thought made him smile creepily.

   “Hiso, stop smiling like that and thinking whatever you’re thinking or I’ll really kick you.” You said calmly as you picked up the bag with the books before Chrollo gave you the one with the dessert instead, taking the heavier bag himself while grabbing your free hand. You both started walking back towards your house, Hisoka rolling his eyes as he started walking back to the hotel.

   “I’m coming for dinner tomorrow~ ♥️” He said as he waved at you. You stopped walking, turning around before getting one last water balloon out. Chrollo watched the two of you, internally sighing. You were both so childish and immature sometimes… Well, it was another side of you that he loved.

   “No, you’re not. Me and Chrollo are going on a date tomorrow.” This made your twin brother stop and turn around slowly, though he sighed irritatedly when he felt the water splash him right in the middle of his chest. He could’ve moved, but he didn’t feel like it anymore. His mood soured just because of what you’d said. “And no, it’s not negotiable. I didn’t get to have lunch with my boyfriend today and while it was fun, we’re both cold and soaked. Talk to you later, Hiso!” You waved with a kind smile.

   “So, how about some tea when we get home?” You turned towards Chrollo, with him glancing triumphantly at your brother as you both started walking again, leaving your twin to watch your backs as you were getting farther away from him.

   “Sounds perfect, love.” He replied as he kissed your temple, the slight increase in Hisoka’s bloodlust making him smirk.

what are your thoughts on halkenburg and camille from hunter x hunter

I like them both and I can’t wait to know what will happento them!

Here are some of my thoughts on them.

CAMILLA

Camilla has been shown interacting with Benjamin since herintroduction:

And her main conflict right now is with him.

In short, if we were to map Camilla’s main relationships andplot-points so far they would all go back to Benjamin.

I think Benjamin is a secondary antagonistwho will die to leave space to Tserriednich and I wouldn’t be surprised ifCamilla were to die to give Benjamin a pyrrhic victory before his own demise.Of course, things might play out VERY differently and I am very open about it,so take this as only one among multiple possibilities.

That said, what I am trying to underline is the fact that sofar Camilla is linked to Benjamin and so comparing them might be worth it.

They are the eldest princes and the only ones who have hatsuso far. Moreover, their nen abilities are both revealed to us in the samechapter:

Both powers are connected to the idea of death, but indifferent ways. Benjamin takes the powers of his dead soldiers to becomestronger, whereas Camilla takes the lives of the ones who hurt her in order tocome back to life. So, for Benjamin it is about honouring one’s comrades, whilefor Camilla it is about punishing her enemies.

I have mentioned in the Benjamin’s meta that it might bepossible that this arc will deal with grieving and the acceptance of death.When it comes to this, Camilla’s ability may represent a total refusal of deathsince her nen power is literally resurrection.

It is interesting to underline how such a strong inabilityto accept death can be symptomatic of a childish vision of the world like theone Camilla displays multiple times. After all growing up means also toaccept death as a part of life.

In short, Camilla, despite being older than the majority ofher siblings is depicted as childish and her nen ability which negates deathmight be just another hint at this trait of her personality.

That said, Camilla’s childishness is noticeable mostlybecause of how ego-centric she is:

Camilla’s feelings are reflected in her nen beast:

A coercitive type ability means that the manipulatorcontrols both the mind and the body of the target and this mirrors Camilla’sdesire of control towards others:

Here, Camilla tries to control even her own mother andorders her around. However, I think Camilla’s interactions with Duazul mighthint at something deeper than a capricious woman who wants everyone under herthumb.

As a matter of fact Duazul seems to me as the kind of motherwho would let Camilla do whatever she likes:

This would explain why Camilla is how she is since she isbasically a caricature of a spoiled brat. At the same time, though, I thinkDuazul’s behaviour is odd.

At the end of the day, in the two scenes above we have adaughter asking her mother for help and her mother negating it and a motherletting her child march towards danger without doing anything. Especially whenit comes to this second case, we should consider that everybody could see thatwhat Camilla was doing was crazy, but Duazul let her go and even stopped othersfrom trying to reprehend Camilla.

In short, Duazul strikes me as a distant mother to Camilla,the kind of mother who would give her child whatever they want, but who doesn’tultimately care that much or who wouldn’t show it particularly at least. Iwouldn’t be surprised if Camilla’s odd behaviour turned out to be nothing morethan a way to ask for support and for attention, not by the world as she says,but by her parents.

This would also explain why her first targets are Benjaminand Halckenburg. As a matter of fact they are respectively the only prince olderthan her whose parts her father took against her:

And her younger biological brother who is said to be full oftalents:

So, when she tells Duazul to kill Halckenburg it is possibleshe might be asking her mother to choose between her and her brother. She mightbe indirectly asking: “Who do you love more?”

Her hate towards Halckenburg might also be a second point ofcomparison between her and Benjamin since Benjamin too hates his biologicalgenius brother more than the others and I think it is implied that them havingthe same mother might be at the root of their mutual dislike.

At the end of the day, this arc is nothing more than thestory of an extremely fucked up family in which the parents are making thechildren suffer. Because of this, I think the queens will be as important asNasubi to explain each prince’s personality.

So, to summarize, I think Camilla’s childishness might playinto the themes of this arc which are about parent-children relationships andher power might be (like Benjamin’s one) an approach to death and grieving and,to be clearer, an approach which completely negates the problem and which,because of this, will most likely fail at one point.

HALCKENBURG

In Camilla’s section I mentioned a possible parallel betweenher and Halckenburg and Benjamin and Tserriednich. This theory might have beenhinted also by the fact that Halckenburg is immediately associated toTserriednich:

This early association seems odd considering thatTserriednich and Halckenburg���s personalities seem to be at odds. Moreover, Halckenburgmentions how he feels understood by Tserriednich. This is strange considering whatTserriednich generally thinks about others.

Either Halckenburg is mistaken or Tserriednich has trulyshown some kind of respect for his little brother. If this second possibility isrevealed to be true, then I think Tserriednich’s respect is born out of Halckenburg’sintelligence since intelligence and knowledge seem to be the only thingsTserriednich values.

This idea is interesting for several reasons and most of allbecause it makes me wonder how Tserriednich will react to Kurapika. After all,Kurapika is one of the smartest characters in the series and I would besurprised if Tserriednich didn’t at least feel some kind of kinship with him. Alternatively he might feel repulsion towards Kurapika because of theirrespective similarities and differences.

Moreover, I think Halckenburg is an interesting character withwhom compare Kurapika with.

Let’s consider this:

It lets us underline 2 things.

1)    Halckenburg’s nen beast’s power representsdemocracy i.e. a situation where there is no hierarchy and everybody has thesame gains and takes the same risks. This is interesting and coherent withHalckenburg’s desire to put an end to the monarchy of his country.

2)    Halckenburg’s nen beast represents his conflictbetween his moral and his objective. It is even said that this conflict mighteven lead Halckenburg to die. However, this is a conflict present in Kurapikaas well. What is more, in Kurapika’s case, exactly like in Halckenburg, it issymbolically represented by a nen ability i.e. the sword in Kurapika’s heart whichis ready to kill him if he were to become a monster like the ones he hunts.

However, said conflict seems to play out in opposite ways inthe two characters.

On one hand Halckenburg consciously chooses his morality andgives up his objective, but unconsciously (aka his nen beast) he can’t bringhimself to let go of the chance to become king:

On the other hand Kurapika consciously chooses his objectiveover his morality, but unconsciously he feels conflicted and always ends up notbeing able to completely let go of his morals.

Moreover, Halckenburg is important also because he is thefirst prince who expresses the wish to retire from the war:

Let’s consider whatKurapika says here:

If one prince managed to retire from the war it is possiblethe whole system based on the nen beasts may disappear. This is interestingbecause retiring would mean giving up or even “letting go”, if you like. Lettinggo is exactly what Kurapika himself should do in reguards to his hunt and to hispeople’s deaths.

Because of this, it might be interesting if the condition tostop the war were to simply let go and at the same time Halckenburg beingwilling to, but not being able to shows the ambiguities and the difficulties ofsuch a process.

These are my general thoughts on these two princes for now.

Longbao Conspiracy

In Chapter 390 of Hunter x Hunter, Zhang Lei refers to Onior Longbao as father.

While some have argued his thoughts are purely deferential or that he is actually referring to Nasubi, I believe Zhang Lei is actually Onior’s son. Zhang Lei being the son of Onior has some very interesting implications. Namely, it would suggest an extremely forethought plan by Onior to put his own blood on the Kakin throne.

Btw the queens’ names themselves are meaningless and just reference their order (ex. unma -> 1, duazul -> 2, etc)

Unma:

Benjamin -> existing name, european origin

Tserriednich -> germanic sounding

Halkenburg/Halkenberg -> germanic sounding

Duazul:

Camilla -> existing name, european origin

Tsubeppa/Tubeppa -> the hxh character is the only thing that comes up when looking up that name

Luzurus -> close to real european name (Lazarus). Lazarus is mostly/typically a german name altho it’s not of germanic origin linguistically speaking (fun fact: the emphasis is on the second syllable in japanese, and not the first like how you’d want to pronounce it; it’s RUZÛRUSU -> luzurus, not luzurus)

Tang Zhao Li:

Zhang Lei -> chinese sounding, like his mother (->and the only chinese sounding names)

Waburu/Woble -> I’m gonna be honest with you idk where the hell that name could have come from. english sounding anyway if woble/wobble is the correct interpretation of the japanese katakana. Not that it should matter since woble is most definitely oito’s child and there’s nothing special/hidden about her.

In the context of the possible Beyond child among the princes and the Halkenburg reveal, of who is who’s biological child/parent, what we learn from this analysis is that

1st queen Unma and 2nd queen Duazul both have similar european and germanic sounding names for their princes, so not much we can induce there. For example Benjamin and Camilla both sound like they could have the same mom based on their names, when you compare them to other queens and their child(ren). Yet it’s basically certain that benjamin is unma’s child, and camilla duazul’s. And Tserriednich and Halkenburg both having germanic sounding names was thought of as a hint to them having the same mother who named them, but with Benjamin’s name being that, the thought doesn’t amount to much more.

Considering both names and physical resemblance, with the question of whether they are biological mother/child:

Oito <—> Waburu/Woble ✅certain (name is inconclusive; physical resemblance is inconclusive bc it’s a fucking baby but unless some 4D chess nen memory manipulation has happened for some reason yeah obviously she is Nasubi and Oito’s child) (and then it turns out that’s exactly what happened and woble is the child of beyond who somehow made it so kurapika would be oito’s guard (even though he was intending to be halkenburg’s and it was oito’s doing) bc he knows kurapika’s competence and odds of successfully protecting woble and intent to essentially be in the succession war since he’s looking for the eyes which are possessed by one of the princes, through pariston who knows it bc he’s sheila and btw that’s part of why he resigned his zodiac seat (even tho it was leorio who recommended kurapika), to give kurapika the opportunity to know about tserri and get roped into the succession war and—)

ok folks this is it. the bombshell of the chapter and its doesnt even tell us anything outright. literally every answer comes with more questions

what is benjamin's secret?!??!!? another bastard!?!? no, cant be.. at this point, if we're counting luzurus and zhang lei as contenders, that's just too many bastards. does it have something to do with tserriednich maybe? the military? honestly this is the one that stumps me the most

prince tserriednich's depravity is fairly easy to foresee. i'm sure they have dirt on him proving his involvement in some truly heinous sickening shit. (PT troupe connection...?)

the truth about halkenburg's birth ok ok ok. is this. is this what i think it is. ... are we getting confirmation that halkenburg is (probably) beyond's child? because that would be devastating to lose the only non-sociopathic man on this boat to his biological father's sociopathic manipulations. i've also seen theories that halkenburg is secretly unma's son (mostly due to resemblence to her and benjamin) which of course raises questions about duazul. tbh none of her kids really look like her, with the possible exception of camilla.... but why would one queen (especially a higher ranking queen) relinquish her child to another? is there some greater coverup we don't know about? ye gods, this family get's messier and messier by the day

This trans Tserri hc is stuck in my head since weeks now. And then I remembered that I can now draw well enough to express my own ideas lol 😂.

Anyways, you have 12 years old Tserri expect she is trans in this period. In my hc, it could happen only if the "inferior wife can't contact superior wife"+"the royal mothers HAVE to educate their kids" rules aren't created yet.

First we have Unma (the first queen) and Benjamin stay with each other in their military stuff. But Tserri is WAY too different from them psychically and physically so he doesn't keep up (I imagine that he can't understand shit if he is not interest).

But the Duazul (second queen) familly isn't really strict, in fact it's just chaos because (Duazul + autority = -949474738). So Tserri would escape his mother house often to go to the Duazul's and helps them and finally fells useful (he is very kind in this period). He will soon enough replace Camillia in the big sis role and take some of her clothes when he stay for a while and then realize she likes being a girl.

Unma is just content to not see her failure of a kid and can sometimes take Camillia with her bc she likes dealing with strong head like Camilia (that would explain why Camillia can lead such a devoted army like Benjamin does).

This hc can also explain why Tserri in the manga is apprecieted by Tubeppa and Harkenburg and maintain the mafia equilibre with Luzurus.

Oh and of course everything end when the King arrived and give enormous traumas to fucking everyone 🙄

ok hear me out... what if unma and duazul swapped kids.

i.e. halkenburg is unma's son and tserriednich is duazul's son, and they're swapping babies left and right to try and manipulate the outcome of the succession war. like, say they wanted halkenburg to win: so they stick him in ninth place (no idea how they pulled it off without the king noticing, but w/e) where he's less of a target. halkenburg finds out and feels bad about the swap (if we're assuming he's the favoured one), and that "acceptance" halkenburg is posting about on facebook is something akin to guilt. and tserriednich... idk maybe duazul hated him and wanted him dead. who knows . these queens are NUTS man i love it
