I think the royals should be able to continue their courthouse games but for tourism.
Specifically like political court Machiavellian assassins and shit, but they can only target each other
Like they should kill each other in dramatic high court fashion for my entertainment
but have no political power only for entertainment of the masses

I think Leonor’s recent speech during the delivery of the Medal of Asturias will continue be a favorite of mine because of how sincire and heartfelt it seemed. Leonor gives many speeches, and all of them I have loved and applauded, but this one even more so, because it showed Leonor’s love and deep ties to the land. While also giving us some insight on Sofia (who apparently loves Asturian sausages🤣)

President, minister, authorities, dear Asturians.
‘I confess that I came many times with my mother and father to Asturias during my childhood. My Asturian family is very Asturian, you understand me, and from a very young age I was able to get to know the forests of the east and take long walks among those carbayos and chestnut trees that are already part of my childhood. Our great-grandmother told Sofia and me what Asturias was like where she lived and formed her family. We really enjoyed her radio stories from that time. I went to beautiful beaches, I got to know mountains, valleys and incredible towns, I became fond of sea urchins, much to my sister's amazement. Well, it's just that she's more into pantrucu (Asturian sausage). although I love it too. We have both been very happy here. And we are every year when we come to promote the values promoted by the Princess of Asturias Foundation. That's why I feel so grateful today and that's why this autumn morning is so special to me. I sincerely thank the government of the Principality of Asturias for the awarding of the Principality Medal and the city of Oviedo the title of Honorary Mayor. I receive it with respect and with the certainty that, as my father felt almost 40 years ago, they mean something very important: the commitment I acquire, which guides me and will always guide me, to be worthy of these recognitions. I remember that it was exciting on my first official trip of 2018 to visit the Santina, the virgin of Covadonga, in Cangas de Onís. And I won't forget the first time that, in front of the lectern of the Campoamor theater, I received such a warm applause, that it was like a hug. So I can say that the Asturians have accompanied me in many important moments of my life. How can I not feel comfortable here!
That is why these words are for you, for all the people of this land who have always supported me, who give me your affection and make me feel welcomed and happy on all occasions. I carry Asturias in my heart. And it will always be the beloved homeland that says the hymn, the land that gives name to the title that designates me as Princess and, therefore, servant of Spain, and the place of origin of my maternal family. I said it in my first speech in Oviedo, in 2019: I have Asturian blood. And that not only gives character: it is a pride and a joy. And that's why I wanted you, the Asturians, to be the protagonists of these words on this day of recognition and that you feel them like the hug that I give you now like the one you give me after my first speech.
Thank you very much.’

Probably the only good thing to come out of the DANA in Valencia is how much people are calling out the King and the President (although many people are calling out the President without aknowledging the responsibility the Community's President has which is more than the General Government)
When I tell you how satisfying it is to see the people unite to throw MUD AT THE KING AND QUEEN Ugh chef's kiss
