OH BOY AM I GLAD U ASKED ME THAT!! Big monster is the guy who started it all, the guy who's the reason Billy hendricks turned out to be like this. Also Mark's uncle.

So the plot is, Billy was a child actor when he was a kid yeah. Big monster was a super famous actor. They were supposed 2 star in a show "my dear monster" together. But Big monster used Billy hendricks to lure children into his sewers so he can eat them. He got caught and in prison, a guy named Tim flowers killed him, claiming he "did it for the child". (We never see that Tim flower guy ever again tho) anyways because of this incident, Billy's mom made Billy stop being an actor cuz she thought "a life in the spotlight isn't for my son". <- in that poster Billy hendricks is seen 2 be crying. One can infer that this is what set him off to become a child kidnapper just like Big monster, nd kidnap his nephew Mark to do that maf episodes stuff. Oh and also! Mark's mom is Big monster's cousin yeah, she changed her last name cuz she "didn't want to be associated with that monster". So yeah that's basically it! Big monster was the guy who started it all, who died so fast in the plot, but continues to haunt the narrative.

like these ones from the raads-r (answered with like before or after i was sixteen or both or neither):

“I can see in my mind in exact detail things that I am interested in.”

idk what this means ‘see’ is so vague and what ‘things’ becaus my interests will (most of the time) entail both physical objects and concepts.

and this one:

“I feel very comfortable with dating or being in social situations with others.”

like what the fuck is this question, first of all dating and social situations are so different so the level of comfortablility in those situations will also be different. and ‘social situations’ is so vague because like the amount of people present, the specific people present and location/activity change the afforementioned level of comfortability so much. hate it.

The way most autism literature describes "literal interpretation" is often not at all similar to how I experience it. Teenage me even thought I couldn't be autistic because I've always been able to learn metaphors easily.

In fact, I love wordplay of all kinds. Teenage me was fascinated to learn all the types of figurative language there are in poetry and literature.

But paperwork and questionnaires are hard, because there's so much they don't state clearly. Or they don't leave room for enough nuance.

"List all the jobs you've had, with start and end dates." What if I don't remember the exact day or month? Is the year enough?

"Have you been suffering from blurred vision?" Well, if I take off my glasses the whole world is blurred, but I'm fairly sure that's not what the intake form at the optometrist is asking.

Or the infamous (and infuriatingly stereotypical) "Would you rather go to a library or a party?" What sort of party? Where? Who's there? I work at a library. Am I currently at the library for work or pleasure? Does it have a good collection?

It's not common figures of speech that confound me. It's ambiguity, in situations that aren't supposed to be ambiguous.
