I am SO excited to finally be able to release these and share them with everyone! This was a a lot of work and am so thankful to the amazing content creators who created/converted them from SSO and helped me with several issues I ran into while creating these. This is a collaboration between myself, Schrodcat, and Kamill. There are 3 different Versions, and the top photo gives an explanation along with several photo examples of all 3 versions. (LINKED IN MY PATREON POST ARE LINKS TO Schrodcat's PATREON FOR THEIR SADDLES AS YOU WILL NEED THEIR SADDLES IN ORDER TO ATTACH THE ACCESSORY VERSION TO THEM) --The 1st version is always attached to SC's Jump saddle, that way no accessory slots will be used up and all accessory items can be used on the horse (such as polos/boots/fly bonnets/quartersheets/ect)

--The 2nd Version is always attached to SC's Dressage Saddle, so like with version 1, none of the slots will be used up. --The 3rd Version is an Accessory version of just the Drawn-Up stirrups and can be used on ANY/all of Schrodcat's REALISTIC FIT saddles of any riding style/discipline. (I chose to only attach the drawn-up stirrups 'permanently' to SC's Jump and Dressage saddles as those are the 2 "most commonly used riding styles/disciplines") (Please read the post on my Patreon for more info and Download links!) These draw-up stirrups are perfect for using for photos of lunging horses, before and after rides, tacking up/untacking, leading, having the horse stand tied at a horse trailer between horse show classes, and whatever other situation you can think of as their use is as limitless as your imaginations!

Hello! imma be real with you, coordinating volunteers is a big job, even if those volunteers can help out with lots of projects. we are at capacity right now, and while we’d love to take some people on, we don’t have the bandwidth right now.

However! you can still fill our volunteer application here and when we are able to reach out, you’ll be on our list.

The founder of Bed-Stuy Strong on  How to Start a 3,000-Member Neighborhood Mutual Aid Network

After looking to see if what I wanted existed already, I mapped out different ideas, sketching them out on legal pad: a series of connected private Facebook groups, branching WhatsApp phone trees, feeling increasingly unsatisfied, and then it hit me. Housing a neighborhood-based network on the messaging app Slack would work well, at least as a start, and if it made sense to, we could set up a phone number for neighbors without reliable Internet access. I built out the Slack infrastructure in about forty-five minutes, with lighthearted channels like #pictures_of_pets, as well as channels for people to share what they needed or wanted to organize around. I made a quick how-to resource in case other people might want to do this for their own neighborhoods.

Staring at the empty Slack, I felt a wild throb of preemptive embarrassment: what if no one joined, what if people joined and then were awful to each other. I texted my friend N these fears, and he very kindly told me to stop being a chump. I ran out and put a note on my neighbor K’s door, asking him to call me if he needed anything. My partner and I printed out twenty pages of flyers, cut them up into quartersheets, and then walked around my neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, putting them up on street corners and bodega doors.

This was March 14, right around when most people began to voluntarily try to stay at home, exactly one week before shelter in place was announced in New York. The flyers had a join link. By the time I got home, sixteen new people were in the network. By the end of the day, sixty-five. Neighbors began introducing themselves, expressing gratitude and relief that this existed. Again and again people said, here are my cross streets, this is what I do, I want to help. The next day eighty people joined, the day after a hundred fifty, and Bed-Stuy Strong was born.

Fundraiser Update!

Hi Tumblr! Kieran from QLL here with a fundraiser update! We've already hit two-thirds of our fundraising goal, which is absolutely bananas, thank you for your support so far! That $15,000 goal looks more and more attainable every day. It kinda looks like we're gonna have to build you guys a queer library? Omg?
