(also, the framing of the original panel image makes it look like the campfire smoke in the background is like. Coming from mumbo and it made me laugh so much that I had to include it in my doodle hehehe)

Dude this is too good😔😔 I have soo much to say about this au but I can't make a coherent paragraph now so I gotta pull out the bullet points😭😭

• Phoenix "Theater kid" Wright mentioned!!! I like to think that in this au he didn't really want to become a lawyer (or atleast yet? He became one in canon bcs of Mia and Miles' influence on him during uni so idk in this au) and wanted to become an actor/performer, but alas Manfred Von Karma doesn't want any of that so he makes him study law and pushes him to become a "perfect prosecutor like him" (something something about legacy) (but he still makes Phoenix learn piano so he can brag to his high society acquaintances about them, he seems like the type to use his kids to one up others). Phoenix HATES this and thought if he just simply followed Von Karma's orders he would leave him alone, spoiler alert he doesn't, Phoenix is now The brutal dictator of Nicaragua The Demon Prosecutor. And maybe the fact that Phoenix follows Manfred leads to Franz also following him (cuz to her Phoenix could do no wrong) but he tries to push her away from that path and that confuses tf out of her

• Speaking of siblingship, on the other side of the world--- Edgeworth and Maya friendship?? I've seen your art of them in comicon and I love that sm. They WOULD geek over steel samurai together and go to all the conventions and meet and greets. Miles is very "introvert adopted by extroverts" (as seen with his friendship w Larry and Phoenix in grade school) and Maya is the type to befriend the quite kid and unlock their true personality.

I have a lot more to say but I think I'll just follow along your posts instead of bombarding you w everything all at the same time I'm sorry for this😭😭😭 I rlly love your stuff!! Phoenix and Franziska as siblings is an interesting dynamic I need to seeeee

GOD you do not know how much i think of these two as siblings, thank you for being my excuse to talk about them!!

i think if phoenix were frans brother instead of edgeworth, he’d be alot more doting of her- look at how he is with his daughter, afterall. he moves into the von karma household when hes like 9 and she’s 2 years old. she was a Baby. a Baby who can talk in full sentences for some reason, but a baby nonetheless.

and he is So doting and caring, raising her in contrast to how von karma was raising her. we see that despite how franziska von karma she is even as a child in the anime, she is sweet and worried about miles’ wellbeing, so ive no doubt itd extend to phoenix if he and miles swapped places.

except, obviously mvk has some issues with whimsy and joy because, well he’s von karma. so he likely doesnt approve and actively berates phoenix for caring for fran, saying its weakness and she’ll grow up to be useless and a dishonour blabla. it gets fran in trouble too though, so i think as time goes on phoenix would start to act less openly affectionate and more cold, but still caring, despite showing it in his own,, convoluted way. as time goes on too, i think the constant beratement from mvk, the pressure of the von karma name and other things i cant say here lest it be spoilers to my own au starts to wear at phoenix’s wellbeing, and it takes a toll on his relationship with franziska as fran tries in all her eight year old might to bring back the boy who’d always smile at her.

anyway i think unlike how miles and fran are like a prince and princess and mvk is the king, i think phoenix and fran would have a princess and her first knight kind of relationship, to put their dynamic simply

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

143 works, however 2 or 3 of them are just some of my crossposted fanart.

2. What's your total ao3 word count? 428,434. Wanted to get to 500k this year, but i suppose i am not quite there yet.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Still just Dracula/Dracula 2020. Some IWTV, some Fight Club. 2 for Empire of the Vampire which i have neither finished reading, nor is there a proper fandom for.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

Death's Sunrise (of course, the only fic to gain over 1k kudos). 1,071 as of now

3 Sandman fics i don't care for anymore so i am not gonna name them (if you are curious, just look them up yourself, you know where to find them)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to, but sometimes i just lack the energy. I do get a lot of comments, in all fairness, but even if i don't reply right away, i just want you to know that i do read and appreciate them all! <3

6. What's the fic you wrote that has the angstiest ending?

The majority is really angsty. If I had to guess, either DS or Completed - a quadruple drabble in which Dracula, in his delusion, is holding onto Jonathan's very dead corpse, somehow still waiting for him to come back to (un)life.

7. What's the fic you wrote that has the happiest ending?

Either something from Castles in the Air, my softer drabble collection, or something like Keeping Family - a very self indulgent murder husbands + accidental baby acquisition fic.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

By god, the things i find in my inbox some days are really something. (Side bar: just because a writer writes specific themes and topic it doesn't make it alright to send them death and grape threats christ on a cracker)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Oh yes. My smut always flirts with the idea of consent and power dynamics. I think it's in general on the more intense side, although i do have some softer, slower works. A personal favorite of mine are the really sweet and sloppy ones - consensual somno and the like.

10. Do you write crossovers?

TGN, my beloved. My Dracula x IWTV crossover. Not really related to either Dracula or Interview with the Vampire, but i just wanted to put my 4 vamps (Jonathan, Drac, Louis and Lestat) like mentos into a carbonated soda bottle and shake them around real good, just to see what happens.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Er. Yes. Was a whole deal. Sorted it out. Kinda. Hope it doesn't happen any longer.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not officially (see no. 11)

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I would be down for it! I do some beta reading for KINGBeerZ on ao3, both for his Dracula fics as well as currently an original work, which is fun and interesting, but i could totally see myself actually co-writing a fic with someone else if we had the same vision for the story.

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Forgive me, but yes, it is Harkula. Sorry not sorry. I like them messy, i like them problematic, and i am aware of it. Also i just like to see Jonathan properly dishevelled and out of breath.

15. What's a wip you want to finish, but don't think you ever will?

There has been one fic i pulled and have not looked at since. It was giving me trouble the second i posted it, made me have a mental break down and freak out. Didn't get much feedback on it the weeks after so i decided it wasn't worth the trouble. Probably wouldn't do it that way these days, but eh.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I feel like i am quite good with dialogue, quick snappy banter and teasing and the like. Maybe also the way i describe pain, body horror, etc.?

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Grammar. I swear. As a non native speaker, it is always grammar for me.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I either translate it right away, put it in italics, or leave it as it. Totally depends on what effect i want to achieve.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

With great shame i have to say that i started out on Wattpad. 15 year old me has discovered BBC's Sherlock and was unstoppable (well, at least until i switched to ao3 and nuked the wattpad account). On ao3 my first fic was DS, and the fandom Dracula (2020)

20. Favorite fic you've written?

Hard to say. I still love DS despite the typos and messy plot, and am currently obsessed with TGN. But there are so many others i am quite proud of.

My beloved Nina, also known as the very gifted PinaNaponi, and here as @vulnerasanenturmyprince. I cannot tell you how much this lady means to me. She's on a hiatus from fandom right now, but I couldn't not dedicate some love to my sweet friend.

Nina and I met during one of the worst periods of my life. And she had no idea just how much joy she brought into my life then, because I kept so much of what I was dealing with hush hush. Our first time interacting was a literal cry for help on my end where Nina told me "if you're okay talking to a literal stranger, my DMs are open." Which just goes to show how openhearted and generous she is. She gave me so much support that day.

When I was struggling, and feeling alone, and afraid, Nina reminded me that decent people exist. She's walked through rough situations with such grace and class. All before we were properly friends. And she is, somehow, all the more wonderful when she's in your corner.

This lady is intelligent, skilled, creative, and passionate, and kind. I adore her to bits. And even when she slipped out of fandom, we've kept in touch. And I know without a doubt that whatever our distance on this earth, and in fandom, whatever life throws in our way, I've got this lady for good. And she simply must be celebrated! She writes, narrates, draws, and even binds books! Talk about a quadruple threat!

i was cleaning up my ask box from some unpleasant messages and i accidentally deleted an ask pointing out that Kiandra, the quadruple disabled OC that LO wrote to not have more purpose in life than being the wife of Lana... originally was meant to be Ascentia?

at least that is what this piece of fanart made by MO, the co-author of the fanfic, seems to imply.

if that is true then that means that ascentia, as a character from LO, has gone from being raped, beaten and abused by Twilight of MLP to having a daughter through some kind of "humilliating way" that's full of awful possibilities (only to later have that same daughter develop incestuous feelings for her and she getting blamed for it) and now to literally lose "her parts" to just hope to die young after being a passive submissive wife. Ascentia is also the character that LO most porn had Lizzy draw about for her and the character she later paired up with Elethyn in order to make more porn, now from MO's hands. clearly ascentia is sexually attractive for LO... and she makes her go through all of this. but remember, according to her, other people are the ones getting off to the suffering of female characters.

a/n: Hello everyone! I finally rewatched Yuri on ice so I could write this with a bit more experience. I also searched up the different jumps and how to do them just so I could describe them better, hopefully, it isn't that inaccurate. I actually got the inspiration to write this and rewatch the series was because of this kuroken fanart I found on Pinterest along time ago! I can’t really use it here since I cannot find the artist ;-; Hope you guys enjoy it!

 He was used to the bite of the ice.

He always felt it pierce his skin when he touches it. It felt cold to land on it, to slip on it. But that didn't stop him.

The thrill of performing on that harsh, unforgiving surface made things worth it.

He didn't care about medals or trophies, he was there skating in front of thousands maybe millions of people because he loves seeing the audiences' expressions when he does a quadruple toe loop-triple axel combo or hearing the cheers from his fans while he glides through his step sequence. It might not look like it, but he was hooked on the cheers and claps from the stands, not only from his fans, from you as well.

You were always there beside him. You were there while he practiced and practiced the quadruple lutz for his routine, making sure he took breaks and he didn't beat himself up when he falls time and time again. You were there next to him in the kiss and cry, looking at his scores, from the lowest of his career to breaking a world record. You were there to send him off the ice to start his short program with his coach, Kuroo.

You were always there.

It was time to pay you back. His final routine was dedicated to you.

"hey ken-ken, relax okay? This is the finals, you've come a long way, you don't have to stress," you said, kissing his cheeks while you knead the knots out of the boy's shoulders. His heart flutters, feeling you next to him for his final routine of the season, the only thing separating you was the wall surrounding the rink.  He knows you're watching him proudly whether he wins or he fails and for the first time in his life, he wants to take home the gold.

A gold medal for you to bite into and leave an indent in it.

He skated to the middle of the rink and listened to the music carefully, starting his routine off flawlessly. You hummed along to the tune, seeing him pull off a triple loop, the crowd growing wild as he glides through the ice.

He takes a deep breath, getting ready for the second half with his routine. He sees you in the corner of his eyes, giving him the last jolts of energy he needs to finish his routine with a perfect quadruple salchow. He gets in his final pose, facing you, a big smile on his face. He's done it. He finished his routine with flying colors.

He skates off and ran into your arms, hugging you tightly. You could feel his chest heaving up and down but he was emanating a happy aura, making you smile too.

"i-i did it kitten! I finished it!" he whispered in your ear, pure joy in his tone. He pulls away only to kiss your plump lips. This kiss lingered longer as a good luck charm on the scores, hoping that it was high enough to place first. You didn't doubt that he wouldn't reach that spot. You knew for a fact that this was his season. He deserved this medal and with that performance, he might've just sealed the deal.

You sit next to him along with Kuroo in the kiss and cry, Kenma sitting in between you two, waiting for the calculations of the total scores. Your hand was entangled with his, letting him squeeze it as many times as he needed. He was nervous, he could feel it. Kuroo was holding onto some of the cat plushies that were thrown out from the stage, squeezing it tightly when on the big screen, the score flashed, revealing he got a total of 319.54, a new record for Kenma. That record thrusting him into first place.

He looked over at you, eyes filled with tears that he's been keeping in before the relief washed over him. He uncharacteristically jumped out of his seat and hugged you and Kuroo tightly. "you did it Kenma!" Kuroo was yelling out, hugging back tightly. You couldn't keep your tears in as you sobbed into the skater's shoulder.

The three of you get up from the kiss and cry and let Kenma go on the ice to receive his shining gold medal with the biggest grin the world has ever seen. He waved the medal in his hand before bringing it to his mouth and lightly biting on it, leaving an indent.

 He gave one last goodbye to the audience before skating towards you into the sidelines. You bring him into his arms again, letting him relish in the warmth of your embrace. He pulls away, taking off the gold medal from his neck and slipping it around yours. "if I'm a winner, you are too." he said with a smile, kissing your cheek. You let out a small giggle "thank you ken-ken. May I?", taking in the sight of the glimmering plate. He smiles at you, pulling you beside him, shoulder to shoulder. He gazed at you as you brought it to your lips for you to bite softly.

Kenma might be used to the bite of the ice, but he could never forget the feeling of winning the Grand Prix with you beside him.

Bonus:

Kuroo walked over to both of you, wearing a pleading pout on his face. He smiled at Kenma, a smile that shows he has something to ask, an ulterior motive.

"can I bite the medal too?"

"no Kuroo."

Hewwo yes I want to hear ALL about cyborg Rat AU, specifically his paling around with Genji! Does he hang with anyone else? Is he still an explosive lil nut case? Where is Hog man??

Hey! Sorry about the long wait @emile-hides  Originally i was gonna answer this question with lots of art and story boards and then I quickly realized that I have absolutely no energy for any of that. I hope my ramblings here will do. So cyborg Rat AU!! I have lots of overwatch aus, but this one is based in some Overwatch Concept art, a very tiny, blurry piece where Junkrat looks to be mostly machine as apposed to just sporting a couple of metal limbs. So I took that idea and expanded on it by doodling a Junkrat with big, cumbersome metal parts and tubes and wires sticking out of him not too unlike Blackwatch Genji. And then that got me thinking...Genji and Junrkat could totally bond over being practically ripped to pieces in this AU! Which is how the Cyborg rat AU came to be. So here’s the story as I have it so far:

Junkertown is already a barely habitable wasteland as in, but in this AU its even worse. I added a new hostile to the environment, a creature that Junkers fearfully call “spiders”. These “spiders” are actually deformed omnics that have gone mad from the radioactive blast and the omnic crisis. They’re called spiders because of their many limbs, and they spend most of their time crawling across the desert floor searching for other omnics. When they find said omnic, the spider proceeds to remove the omnics limbs and attach them to themselves, leaving these spiders as terrifying metal creatures with far too many appendages. Who knows why they do this. Maybe in an attempt to feel “fixed” or “whole”. (NOTE: “Spiders” aren’t my idea. It was a concept I came across in an old overwatch fanfiction I must have read like 4 years. I tried to look for it but I haven’t had any luck yet) Well, Junkrat and Roadhog had already met and been partners/friends for years at this point, living pretty much their regular canon Junker life when Jamison made the mistake of coming across a “spider” and he did NOT make it out unscathed. Safe to say, the encounter nearly killed him!

The only reason Junkrat is still alive today is because Roadhog had managed to find him in the nick of time. Jamison survived through a mix of Roadhog’s healing gas, Roadhog’s basic first aid training, and some Junkertown doctors that needed a little persuading.  Now Junkrat wasn’t exactly grateful for this. He was incredibly wounded, physically and mentally, and being left a quadruple amputee put him in a very dark place. He wasn’t exactly pleasant and yelled at Roadhog a lot, told him he should have saved him sooner, that he was a shitty bodyguard, that it should have been him, that Roadhog should have left him to die... Time passed, and Jamison heals up quickly because healing is super advanced even in Junkertown if you know the right people. But Junkrat can’t live his life bedridden, so similarly to Genji, they build Junkrat a new body, just the Junker way. His new limbs are heavy and bulky and more weapons than limbs, because of course Junkrat demanded a rocket launcher be built in. It hurts really, but Jamison doesn’t care as long as he doesn’t need to be taken care of anymore. 

This is where the story gets a little fuzzy? I haven’t ironed out all the details tbh, I’ve been having fun with this.

Somehow the Junkers get recruited by Overwatch. Maybe they were scouted out early on because these two can kick ass or something, and they agree to their invitation after being told that they could help with Junkrats constant pain by fitting him with more advanced limbs. That’s where he meets Genji, who is just as prickly as normal at first, but it only takes a bit of prodding from Junkrat to get Genji to let his guard down. Genji sorta marvels at the fact that Junkrat is in a pretty similar boat as him but somehow Junkrat is so upbeat and excited to be alive. They bond over it. Still fuzzy on the details, but I liked the idea of Symmetra helping with creating Jamisons new body which is why the metal limbs are all pretty crisp and white. 

Also I have some fanart here with Concept Lucio so do with that what you will. From there, Junkrat gets some swanky new limbs and takes on the job as Overwatch’s weapons engineer and he’s pretty damn good at it, if a bit eccentric. 

I had a lot of cute comic ideas for the cyborg buddies, like Junkrat being between surgeries, laying in bed without any of his limbs, looking pretty miserable, and Genji decided to keep him company by having him lean back on his chest and playing some video games like animal crossing or something. It distracts him right up and Junkrat starts swearing off tom nook like god damn bitch taking all his damn bells. Or they sort of just talk about what happened with them, how they got here, the growth they had, comparing each others injuries and probably hugging and crying who knows.

I could be shippy or it could just be platonic! That’s all I got so far! Thanks for expressing interest!

Chapter 54 - Sports Festival: Awards Ceremony

So...uh, I accidentally hit post on AO3? So you're getting this a day early? ^___^;

Thank you everyone for your comments last chapter! I was a little worried about writing a satisfying last match especially after the confrontation. I even had to take a break from writing that part to work on future parts just to refresh my brain from writing fights. Which helped a lot and let my mind stew on it in the back of my mind to come up with more ideas. And thus last chapter was born. So yay to y'all liking it! :D

With chapter 54 we finally have arrived at the award ceremony! :D We have quite a few pov changes this chapter. Parents, Heroes, students, and a Villain.

Warning for swearing for Bakugou and the Villain this chapter. Also warning for teasing near the end of the chapter. From "So...if we're best friends..." to just before "Hitoshi merely hummed in answer...".

Well that was an array of reactions. First off, good parent Inko and Hisashi being proud of their son. Second, the students being proud of their placement or mostly. Bakugou certainly isn't but his inner voice isn't going easy on him. I hope you liked my version of his reaction though 'cause the canon version where he's basically foaming at the mouth is just wrong. Calm the fuck down, explody boy. Third, Aizawa hates life and judgmental people and wants to yell at all the idiots. While Awkward Might is awkward. Fourth, Shiggy makes an appearance again and has shown interest in Izuku! Watch out broccoli boy! Handy man's got his eye on you. Fifth, the crowd. Gods that hurt to write. I don't want to but I feel that's how the world would react in this AU. Izuku is challenging long standing social norms in regards to quirks and power. He's got an uphill battle ahead of him but what else is new. Guess he'll just have to keep trying.

So Bakugou is very much still in trouble. Aizawa is keeping an eye on explody boy. And Izuku sort of tells Hitoshi what happened though more of a summary than anything. He's still feeling overwhelmed by the confrontation so doesn't want to talk about it. Hitoshi is a good bestie and hugs are just freaking necessary sometimes, ya know?

Just a reminder in regards to Present Mic announcing like that, back in chapter 34 that was what Izuku asked him to do. To wait until he either lost or won first place. :P

Fun Facts About Japan:

Once the sports festival is done, the students form into their groups before the podium and the judges. They do have judges that come to be unbiased in the points. I would guess people from another school or part of the Board of Education. Based on my experience serving as judge for the English speech contest the next city over at one point and that same city would send judges to watch our students. To be as fair as possible. Anyway, at the reveal of the winner, they like to be all dramatic about it. The schools will show the scores putting one number up at a time. During the entire festival, the points would be updated and reach the triple or even quadruple digits on the school's scoring system. For the final score, the schools I went to would put the ones place first followed by the tenths and then the thousandths place if there are multiple teams in the same thousandths or they will put the tenths place followed by the hundredths then thousandths if there is a clear winner. For example from one of my schools' reveal:

Blue: ---3, Yellow: ---6, Red: ---5, Orange: ---9 Blue: --83, Yellow: --36, Red: --35, Orange: --89 Blue: 1-83, Yellow: 1-36, Red: 1-35, Orange: 1-89 Blue: 1383, Yellow: 1336, Red: 1435, Orange: 1289

They really like building up the tension. XD Of course the winning team freaks out. The team leaders get presented a trophy by the principal along with a certificate. Typically when receiving anything anything in Japan, whether a certificate, business card, book, trophy, etc., you grasp it with both hands. I believe the right and then the left. Then both parties give a bow before the giver lets go and the receiver keeps it in their hands. If it's on a stage, the receiver would then turn around to the crowd and bow to them before leaving the stage. So there's an award for the winner of the sports festival but there is also an award for cheering. Whichever team showed the most spirit and enthusiasm in their cheers both during the cheering competition as well as from the sidelines during the events. So the cheering part is very important along with the events.

Once the awards are handed out and the principal, a few teachers, and the team leaders make speeches, the students get in their groups for group picture time. There are photographers there the entire time btw taking toooooons of pictures of the events and the students in general.

That's it for this chapter! This marks the official end of the sports festival arc (thank goodness), but not the end of this day. Izuku is just so busy all the time.
