1. Do you have a word-count goal for the upcoming year?

I don't have a goal for the year at large, but I'd like to get back into writing a little bit every day. Last year I saw @imekitty posting daily word counts and I think I'd like to try something like that, maybe starting in February. I'd keep a small goal, like 200 words a day minimum, if I did it.

5. Which WIP is first on your list to complete this year? Will you post a snippet?

I have so many wips I want to put out this year; I don't know if I could choose a number one. Buuuuuuut... there's this one fic I started for phic phight 2020 but never finished because I realized it would turn into a big fic. The prompt was Danny becoming the grim reaper, submitted by @browa123 . Here was the opening for that fic:

There are few beings, both living and dead, that are as old as Clockwork. He remembers how empty everything was before the realms started taking proper form. There were only two, in those days, rather than the infinite, ever-growing expanse of realms that exist now or will exist further in time. Two realms on either side of a single door. Both were vast, dark, and empty, remaining that way for millennia. Until, one day, something changed.

In the realm that would one day be known as Universe, that would contain all things truly living, there was a grand cataclysmic birthing of stars and planets of every kind. One moment there was nothing, and then suddenly there was everything, and Clockwork could see it. At that point, "was" did not exist, only "is" and "will be."

On the other side of the door, in the realm that would be Aether, that would be Infinite, that would be the Ghost Zone, there was no bang. Instead, there was a pebble in a pond. A ripple of change pushing outward, growing into cascading waves. A maelstrom of creation tearing down the boundaries of what did not exist. Coments on The L Word Gen Q season finale

Quiara and Shane

Quiara is gorgeus but toxic as fuck. She literally wants to force Shane to become a parent.

Shane did everything right, always being honest even when she "embraced" the idea.

Where’s Carmen? Carmen wouldn't hurt Shane like that

Bette

I already imagined that Bette would lose because if she won the show would have to deal with all the politics and would run away from the "queer group of friends" focus of the show

But when the result came out I was devastated. I wish Bette had won.

And That beautiful scene of her and Angie screaming is just all I want to do sometimes

Alice, Nat (and Gigi?)

The whole scene in Alice's show was perfect. Nat really made me like her in this scene. And that really was what she needed for her to really live happily with Alice, to solve the things she didn't solve with Gigi.

I think that this whole scene makes it kind of clear that the trouple doesn't come back for second season but I really hope they find some role for Gigi next season because every time she appears on screen my depression is cured.

If the problem is creating a storyline for the character, they can hire me to be her romantic couple, no problem at all.

Just keep Sepideh Moafi in season 2, I beg you.

Micah and Jose

I mean, Jose can be in an open marriage right? But even so, if that's the case, he should have talked to Micah first. I dont know what to think i was shoked just like Micah

Sophie, Dani and Finley

Sophie is canceled for me, she will have to work hard to earn my respect in the second season. After all, she broke Dani and Finley's heart.

And grl, wasn't it that Dani's father wasn't right? All it takes was a little hard time to Sophie to cheat and think about leaving Dani, because honestly I think that in the end she went after Finley.

Do you know what made me mad? Yes, Dani's problem was work and the priority she gave it to work. But after it's over, you can see how much there is no doubt that she loves Sophie and wants to be with Sophie.

After work was over she not only wanted to work things out with Sophie but also with her father.

And grl ... She was so happy to say that she was going to marry Sophie, while Sophie said it with no emotion in her face.

And Finley? Finley felt guilty about something she was not to blame.

Even if she was already in love with Sophie, she made no move and she tried to walk away and pretend that nothing happened after the kiss. Sophie was the one who went after her more than one time

Seeing Finley's reaction, blaming herself for what happened and afraid to destroy the relationship between Dani and Sophie, pulling the blame all on herself. It really broke my heart. I love Finley, there's something about her that really hits home for me, maybe it's "i dont know what to do with my life" thing

Sincerely, I hope that they explore the character more in the next season because for me she is the most interesting of the new ones.

PS: And was that bike stolen? FINLEY!

Ps: The actors are all amazing this season. Hate it  or love it  the character, the actors really made a good job on them. Both Jennifer Beals and Jacqueline Toboni really shines in those more dramatic scenes, and Jennifer Beals performance in that dinner scene in episode 07 was Emmy worthy for me.

Leisha Hailey had an amazing comic time, no jokes out of time. Kate Moening still manage to bring this “aura” on Shane, like she really hasnt change but you can see she changed, i dont know. 

Arienne Mandi and Rosanny Zayas had a good chemistry which makes a lil painfull watch the relationship fall apart. And , i dont know if was intentional but Arienne really brings some Bette Porter vibes to her Dani. And Rosanny didnt need to say a word to me to know what she was thinking (Thats how i know Sophie goes after Finley) 

Leo Sheng acting really gets better during the season. I wanna see more of Micah in season 2 for sure.

And i love the commitment all the actors have during the sex scenes, they are both gorgeus and real. Those scenes looks a bit akward to film, so yeah, thanks for make it great

Hoy vengo a hablarles del acné. Me animé a hacer un artículo sobre este tema porque sufro en carne propia este padecimiento y sé cuanta tristeza y estrés provoca a las personas que lo padecen. Voy a enseñarte qué la origina, los tipos de acné, los 10 Trucos para maquillarme sin agrabar los problemas de acné y mis bases de maquillaje.

El Acné es una enfermedad crónica de la piel de carácter generalmente benigno. Producido fundamentalmente por la interacción de factores genéticos y hormonales. Ataca a todas las razas, blancas, negras y amarillas. Afecta mayormente a los  cutis graso (como el mío… jejeje). Puede aparecer en cualquier momento de la vida. Se localiza generalmente en el área del rostro, parte superior del pecho y cuello, pero también puede aparecer en hombros, brazos, abdomen, espalda y en casos menos frecuentes en los glúteos.

Causas que originan el Acné?

Es una enfermedad de causas multifactoriales (hormonales y genéticas)

Factores Genéticos: Notables tendencias familiares en que todos los miembros de la familia o casi todos padecieron alguna forma grave de acné.

Factores Hormonales: Estrecha relación entre el acné y la alteración del sistema endocrino. Relación que se pone de manifiesto a través del desarrollo de la enfermedad.

Factor Mecánico: Mala manipulación de las lesiones acnéicas (limpiezas de cutis mal realizadas o exprimir los brotes de acné). Puede provocar agravamiento de estas lesiones.

Trastornos digestivos: Existen alimentos que agravan los padecimientos del acné . Ej : chocolate, derivados lácteos, mantequilla, queso, yogurt, frutos secos, alimentos fritos, mariscos, etc.

Factores Emocionales: Estrés y alteraciones nerviosas. Evitar el estrés.

Lesiones que denotan la presencia de Acné?

Comedón: Lesión primaria del Acné. Está formado por células córneas procedentes de la exfoliación epidérmica de las paredes del folículo, mezcladas o aglutinadas por materia sebácea.

Se clasifica en 2 tipos:

Comedón abierto

Comedón cerrado

Comedón Abierto: Su extremidad externa está en contacto con el medio ambiente y es de color oscuro producto de la oxidación de la queratina y suciedades del medio ambiente.

Comedón cerrado: No está en contacto con el medio ambiente, es de color blanco, no tiene presencia de pus, salen al exterior por medio de presión, lo hacen en forma de pequeños filamentos o semilla.

  Pápula: Sigue en orden cronológico al comedón, alrededor de este se forma una elevación centrada por un punto negro o no.

Pústula: Alrededor del comedón, en el centro de la pápula aparece un círculo amarillo rodeado de un pequeño enrojecimiento y el comedón se puede hacer salir por medio de presión en forma de cuerpo extraño. Es la única lesión que justifica la presencia de sangre de las lesiones que trabajan los facialistas.

Quiste mucoide: se produce por la degeneración de la glándula sebácea y su expulsión se realiza en forma de una sustancia musilaginosa de olor rancio.

Quiste Butírico: Son más bien profundos, al abrirse al exterior expulsan un líquido pastoso, amarillo, no hay pus, de olor desagradable, proceden de la degeneración de los comedones.

Absesos: Son excepcionales y consisten en varias cavernas o cavidades abcesadas, profundas q dan lugar a lesiones de una pulgada o más de tamaño, las cuales pueden contener gran cantidad de pus observándose la desintegración del folículo y la glándula sebácea.

Cicatriz: Al desaparecer, las lesiones acnéicas dejan como secuela lesiones cicatrizadas que pueden ser atróficas o hipertróficas, verdaderos queloides que desfiguran el rostro.

10 Trucos para maquillarse sin agrabar los problemas de acné.

Comprar bases de maquillaje “No comedogénico”. El maquillaje no comedogénico es aquel que entre sus ingredientes no lleva ningún componente que obstruya los poros. Aunque la mayoría de los productos no comedogénicos son libres de aceites, no todos los aceites obstruyen los poros. Es posible utilizar un producto no comedogénico que contenga ciertos aceites.

Utiliza bases de maquillaje “Oil Free”.  Las bases fluidas, ligeras y libres de aceites suelen ser mas cómodas para la piel grasa y propensa al acné y no tapan los poros.

Usa protección solar. Los rayos UV agravan los brotes de acné y las lesiones cutáneas.

Mantén una correcta higiene de la piel y nunca, bajo ningún concepto, vayas a la cama sin limpiar bien tu piel y retirar la base de maquillaje o la suciedad acumulada del día. Retira tu base de maquillaje con un gel limpiador preferiblemente usando una esponja para desmaquillar o cepillo electrónico y termina la limpieza pasando un algodón empapado en tónico.

No seques tu rostro con toalla. Cuando laves tu rostro, sécalo con servilleta o pañuelos desechables para no contaminarlo.

No apliques la base directamente sobre la piel. Antes de maquillar tu rostro prepara tu piel aplicando una crema hidratante y un ¨primer¨ de rostro, estos harán una pequeña película y actuarán como barrera protectora entre tu piel y la base de maquillaje.

Mantén limpia tus brochas de maquillaje. Yo sé que lavar las brochas de maquillaje es una tarea muy tediosa, pero si quieres lucir una piel radiante tienes que hacerlo. Las brochas y pinceles son un nido de bacterias y gérmenes. Lávalas mínimo una vez al mes, déjalas secar bien y guárdalas en un lugar protegido para que no se llenen de polvo.

Evita estos ingredientes: Evita aplicar en tu rostro productos de cuidado facial o bases de maquillaje que contengan Alcohol, Oxycloruro de bismuto.

Utiliza bases Anti-Acné. Maquillaje y productos de cuidado facial con componentes activos que ayuden a combatir el acné, ingredientes como ácido salicílico, ácido cítrico, extracto de árbol de Té, vitamina A, geraniol, ácido láctico o castor oil ayudan a que la piel combata los brotes y prevenga nuevos.

Cambia tus esponjas periódicamente. Las esponjas de maquillaje, al igual que las brochas, son un nido de bacterias y gérmenes. Utilízalas de 3 a 6 meses máximo y lávalas periódicamente después de cada uso.

Esta base la descubrí muy recientemente y me tiene encantada. Accord Parfait tiene una textura muy ligera, no causa el efecto máscara, brinda un resultado muy natural, ni muy jugoso ni muy mate. Cubre  y disimula las imperfecciones ligeramente. Tiene una amplia gama de tonos, sin dudas encontrarás el tuyo.       MAC MATCHMASTER

    Es una base de alta gama, tiene un acabado semimate con una cobertura media graduable y una protección UVA/UVB SPF 15/PA+ de amplio espectro. Reduce el brillo en la superficie de la piel y ayuda a absorber el exceso de grasa. Refina la piel al mismo tiempo que minimiza el aspecto de los poros e imperfecciones. . Maybe I don't understand much about it, mainly because I don't live in the US but Felicity's asshole husband (Tyler right?)has no right to press charges against Bette. And do you know why? Because he physicaly assaulted a teenager!

Bette did what any mother would do in that situation.

I understand Bette's position, but I think she could have been more aggressive about the situation, she should take the initiative and sue the asshole for harassment and physicaly assault a minor.

That speech tho, Bette would get my vote

. I can't believe Sophie is angry because Dani is working. Don't she know that Dani's work has no time to start or end? did she not look at the news and understand why Dani had to leave so early?

Sophie is starting to really bother me. Great friend, not that great as girlfriend/fiancee

. But the timeline is a bit confusing because by the time Tyler(asshole husband) appeared at the end of last episode, Bette had already broken up with Felicity. Unless Felicity didn't take it well, I said something to him.

I dont know if i am shipping Dani and Bette, but his reaction was priceless

.I dont get the dislike about Tess. She is a supporting character with quite interesting background. And Jamie is amazing playing her.

. The same goes for Finley i can see she had problems with some stuff. And that's awesome, i mean, i love characters with flaws like her. Easy to see and not so Easy to compreend

.I get that Shane doenst feel prepare to be a parent but c'mon she would be a great mom. That Angie scene with Jordi was so Sweet.

That's interesting cuz lets not forget, Gigi cheat on Nat so for her is complicated, and she still likes Gigi. She just doesnt wanna get hurt or hurt Alice. (But looking at the promo she may hurt Alice)

.Dani comes at home and saw her fiancee sleeping , cuddling with a friend. She did nothing, she Just Go up stars wanting a good sleep and Sophie goes trying to push a conversation at her.

Can you imagine if Dani was the one cuddling with a friend?

Tina and Bette. They meet, they are Nice to each other, they argue and them they are nice to each other again. Somethings never change.
