Steam und EA

Probleme mit den Konten

Ich verwende die meisten Computergames über Steam. Einige andere befinden sich in der EA App. Dort sind z.T. auch die Steam Gametitel aufgeführt und können auch von der EA App gestartet werden. Bei meinem Steam Game NFS Most Wanted (2012) starte in Steam aber zugleich zwingend die EA App.

Möglicherweise nach dem Windows Upgrade 11 (24H2) bekam ich keinen Zugriff mehr. Ich musste in einem EA Fenster eine neue Anmeldung vornehmen, die aber nicht akzeptiert wurde. Meine Accountdaten konnte ich aber über EA im Internet anwenden und mich einloggen. Dann war auf einmal in Steam meine Bibliothek verschwunden. So gab es es undurchsichtiges Hin- und Her. Gehacktes Konto? Vorsichtshalber habe ich meine E-Mail und PW erneuert. Bei beiden Accounts. Viel genützt hat es nichts. Dann NFS MW deinstalliert und neu installiert. Wieder das Problem mit EA und einer nicht möglichen Anmeldung. Erworben hatte ich das Game übrigens mit Steam im Juli 2024 mit einer offiziellen Lizenz.

Ich hatte im Archiv eine "Kopie2 der Game Exe. Nachdem diese ausgetauscht war, konnte der Start aus Steam (und umgekehrt aus EA) wieder erfolgreich stattfinden.

Warum sich diese sperrige Irritation ergeben hat, ist mir ein Rätsel. Aber das Game läuft wieder und hat mich nochmals motiviert, den "No HUD Modus" wieder zu installieren, über den ich kürzlich berichtete.
