A/N: I’ve been toying with this small idea for some time, and decided that today was the day to write it down, finally adding Back To The Sewers to my list! Takes place around the time the turtles return from the future to their own time💚🐢

He had been gone for a year now. Your turtle boyfriend had been gone for a year. And every single day of that year, had been painful for you, as you had no idea where he had gone. Or any of his family members for that matter. It was as if all five of them had just vanished into thin air that day a year ago. And every single day throughout that year, you and your boyfriend’s friends looked for him and his family everyday. You, April and Casey had overturned every single stone in New York City in your search. But no matter where you looked, none of you could find them. It went too far that you and April stayed in New York, and looked the city through three more times, while Casey traveled to Japan to look for them there. He even got into contact with the Ancient one, and asked Usagi to look through the Battle Nexus. But nothing. The turtles were gone. And you had no idea where your boyfriend was.

You, April and Casey never gave up your search for the turtles and Master Splinter. But after having looked through every possible place the three of you could think of, all three of you opted to stay closely around the lair, making sure that it was ready for the day they might come back. You and April looked out for their stuff, and made sure it was clean, while Casey would do runs every now again, beating up and questioning any Purple Dragons he met on his way. But they knew nothing. No one knew anything. It was truly as if the turtles had just upped and left. And you were left confused and scared, fearing what had happened to the man you loved.

But it wasn’t long before you and your friends would get closure and answers to your many questions.

You had just gotten home from a late night shift, almost collapsing on your couch, still in your work uniform. You were so tired that you didn’t even turn on the light to your apartment. Instead you curled up on your couch, pulling out your phone, and opening your photo album. With a heavy heart, you scrolled through the pictures of you and your boyfriend. Your happy times together, kisses, hugs and all sorts of goofy pictures. Your heart ached, remembering each story behind every picture. His laugh and all the fun you had. Oh, how you missed him. What you wouldn’t do to get him back. To know that he was safe and to have him in your arms again. You missed him so much.

As you sat there, looking through all those happy pictures you had saved in your camera roll, you got a call from April. You looked at her name on your screen in confusion. It wasn’t typical for April to call you at this time of the night. So with a puzzled expression, you answered the call, asking April what was going on.

“Someone has entered the lair”, April said. “The alert Donnie installed on my phone just started blaring. Me and Casey are on our way down there”.

“I’m coming too”, you said, hurrying up from the couch, suddenly feeling very awake. “Don’t wait for me”, you said, as you started to put your shoes back on with one hand. “See what’s going on down there, and I’ll be right behind you”.

As you hurried out of the door, still putting on your jacket, your heart beating as fast as your running feet, carrying you down the street and directly towards the nearest subway station. During your train ride, you could not help but wonder what had entered the lair and triggered the alert. You hoped, with all of your soul, that it was something that could help you find your boyfriend, or at least let you know when you could see him again.

At your station, you ran from the train, out the station, headed directly towards Central Park. There, you made your way to the sewer that led directly down to the entrance of the lair. You lifted the manhole cover out of the way, before making your way down the metal ladder, closing off the hole behind you. Once at the bottom, your feet carried you through the tunnel, the sound of your feet echoing against the rounded walls, until you finally made it to the entrance of your boyfriend and his family's home. But then you heard something that made your heart halt momentarily, keeping you frozen in place. You heard Casey and April talking to someone. Calmly. Happily. And then you heard familiar voices. His voice…

You bolted into the lair, almost slipping on the floor when you entered the room. There you found April and Casey, talking with the turtles and Master Splinter, learning about where they had been for the past year. And there your eyes quickly landed on your boyfriend, resting on the couch between his brothers.

Your boyfriend stood the moment he saw you, everybody staying silent from the moment you bursted into the lair. For a moment the two of you just stood there, unable to believe your own eyes. But then, suddenly, both of you sprung into action, running to each other, throwing your arms around each other in a tight hug. A loud sup escaped you, the moment you felt him in your arms, burying your face against his strong shoulder, as he held you close, burying his beak against your hair, fighting to hold his own tears from falling.

He’s back. Your boyfriend is finally back in your arms, holding you as tightly as he did the night before he disappeared. He’s back, with many stories to tell after having missed you for a year, just like you had missed him.

Mikey strolled into the living room where his brothers stood huddled in a group. They looked up to see their baby brother coming their way. Then they saw what he had in his hand. The valentine he held matched the one they recieved, which confirmed their theory that Y/N sent them.

"You got one, too?"

"Too?"

"Yer not the only one who got one of 'em, knuckle head."

"But why would she give each of us one as a 'secret admirer'?" Leo questioned. He was confused because wasn't something like that supposed to be for couples, or someone in a relationship?

"She probably didn't want to hurt any of our feelings if she picked just one of us." Donnie figured. "But that doesn't make sense. If she was going to give us all one, she would've signed her name instead of trying to be secretive."

"Maybe its a game." Mikey shrugged his shoulders. "A game to see who can win her heart."

They were still puzzled. They weren't going to get definate answer until they asked you themselves. If this was a game of love, there wasn't going to be no mercy given.

Later that evening you entered the lair and was met with a turtle pile. "Whoa, whoa, guys! What's up?"

"WHICH OF US DO YOU LIKE?" They all said in unison.

It took a few seconds to take everything in. You giggled. "Isn't it simple? I like..." The turtles leaned in, anticipation making them nervous/anxious. "ALL of you." You smiled.

"Wha-"

"You know I can't choose between the 4 of you."

"So, you dont 'like-like' any of us?"

"No" you chuckled. "I'd be breaking someone's heart. I can't do that. I love you guys too much to break up a family over something like that." You gave each of them a kiss on the cheek and tried your best to hug all of them at once. They wrapped their arms around you in a big warm huddle.

"But you like me more, right?" Raph gave him a punch in the forearm. "Ouch!"

give some advice on writer's block and low creativity

Put down the writing/art and take a step back. Go for a walk. Don't try and problem solve, don't try and generate ideas, go outside for a little bit and just listen to the birds. Watch the people around you. Have a conversation with a friend or a family member. If you don't feel ready to tackle the project again the next day, start something adjacent. Maybe try using a diction app to write down your thoughts. It doesn't have to be clean. It doesn't have to make sense. I've gotten stuck on paintings before and had to switch mediums to get my hands to behave again. If all that fails, rest. Play a game, do a puzzle, read a book, etc. If you're pouring out ideas you have to take in new ones to fill the well. Make good food and try to describe it using words you don't usually use. When you're ready your project will be waiting, and it will be better for the time you've spent away.

Ok, you might need to turn your phone.

This is an idea I've had for a bit due to the stress of college. And I've decided to do this instead of sleeping 😴

It's basically after all the crazy stuff that happened donnie goes to college in queens and wants to be independent. He finds three roommates and someone who will lease to them for a pretty low price. Also bishop brought forth a alien liberation bill. That let's aliens immigrant here in exchange for allied support.

The first is Mike (he/him cat mutant). Mike is flamboyant and sassy, albeit compationate. He's dating another mutant, Daniel. Daniel isn't a great guy. Is studying psychology and hopes to be a psychologist. He has a mild allergy to peanuts 🥜

Next is Evelyn/ Eve ( she/her human). Eve is a pretty religious woman and always tries to help anyone she can and is really good at puzzles. She is also the DM during their dnd games. Studying to be a biologist. And is dating Abe.🪄

Best for last Abe (they/them fire ant). It isn't a matter of IF they'll be arrested, but WHEN. Eve can only hope it isn't on their wedding night. They're studying anatomy to become a mortician. While also being chaotic. 🐜

And donnie is the responsible one. Let's see how long that lasts. 🐢

You both know everything about each other, well…johnny would have hoped to say so if you hadn’t visited his house at 2:48 am knocking at his door frantically, soaked by the hammering of the rain

“Y/n, you got some nerve coming to my house at this time of night-“ Johnny said opening the door before putting his entire eye sight on you

You had on your pajamas, but it was thinned due to the way the rain had attacked you. Soaked hair covering you face as you shivered with your head down

“Y/n what happened?!” Johnny said anxiously

A loud crack of lightning flashed around you both

He comes towards you

He tilts your head up and his breath got caught in his throat.

Your face that once held warm smiles, toothy grins, and stupid faces.

And your eyes, God, your eyes that held all the light in the sun and could tell everyone that everything would be okay and was certain.

Now he’s placed with a puzzle piece that was never included in the picture anyway. A face he’s never seen has been placed upon him, the only thing he can name it is: numb

A face so numb and eyes so dull that the tears from your eyes fell down so effortlessly like they belonged there, like they finally found their home

Lips wobbling, johnny hoping that the reason would be because of the cold weather but no..

“Y/n tell me what happened..please” Johnny choked out, tears getting caught in his throat and tears wanting to break free from his eyes, as now you and him are now being drowned by the heavy rain

“…hurts” you slowly said as your eyes prickle with more tears

“Shhh,shh it’s okay it’s okay” Johnny said hoping those simple words from him would comfort you in any way possible

You raise your hands in need to hold anything close, a need for something to rest all your worries and sorrows on

Johnny immediately understands and wraps you in a strong yet comforting embrace

You were freezing, as if you’d been standing in the rain for hours

You fall limp in his arms with your head on his chest, “it hurts, Johnny.” You say in a small voice

“I got you” Johnny says and kisses the top of you head as he gently brings you inside and closes the door.

🐢: As he was a baby, it was Get That Baby (chase and tickle the baby) and Attack Mama (Donnie threw him on me-/hj)... I lost so much hair... As he got older (5-9), it was cards and crossword puzzles. Then he grew up and it was Wii games and PlayStation games.

🦉: At first it was Tickle Monster, then it was tag. Then it was hide and seek (flashback to the dryer incident), then it was hoop scotch. Then it was kick-boxing, and board games!

Turtle Tank 🫴🐢

He spent the longest time captive to the kraang alongside Iggy, and they only met a few times while imprisoned there and weren't allowed much interaction.

The reason there are even all these Turt kids in the first place is actually due to the kraang experimenting possible means of dealing with the ninja turtles. Testing limits and attempting to make their own Turtle on turtle weapons. Bowser was mutated years before the TMNT, and once finding out about this often liberated them decently early in their development, between 3 and 6, but Morton was rescued at age 15 before Iggy, and he was rescued at 14. The two have a three year gap.

Iggy was out through tests pertaining to the mind, strategy, puzzles, etc. And was also put thru physical training

Morton's field was heavy on his physical prowess. His endurance, strength, and limits were tested and was sent to fight the TMNT as well as many others.

Morton and rise raph are really two sides of the same coin. The oldest and biggest of the siblings and often feels like it's his responsibility to protect them, concerned they'll disappear. he very much has a temper but tries to leave if he finds himself getting too riled up, often finding solace in the castles gym or finding someone else to plop next to and rant

Larry is the second oldest so is most often the one to lend an ear

Oh, I LOVE Pokemon. This is going to be fun.

1. I think Anya would have a soft spot for Mewtwo, with both of them being products of man's creation rather than of nature. Anya is a magical construct created to be an infinite source of magical power for her "father's" dream ship - a flying yacht/cruise ship thing meant to be his personal castle in the sky.

2. I was HOPING someone would ask this! I've been developing more of Anya's personality throughout my BG3 playthrough as her. It's been interesting to watch her go from "Only been around a few years so, while she has been exposed to people being dicks, she is still mostly in the 'wonder' stage" to "the world can be cruel and harsh but it's the people you love the most that make the hardships worth while." In the beginning, she would solve it by saving the most people possible. But by then end, I think she would save the person she loves the most, wherever they fall in the puzzle.

3. Completely mesmerized by the lights and sound. She can interact with energy in ways that differ from her flesh-and-blood friends due to being made entirely from magic, so I think it would be an absolute EXPERIENCE for her - dancing on the dancefloor, eyes closed, head up as she takes in the energy from the lights and music and feels it to her core.

these were notes on my journal till yesterday but the news that we're getting the nectar-making skill with horses i figured i'd have some fun with it yet still be loud with my opinions, so i'll reblog with updates from time to time - im reposting with the original slot texts bc i was unhappy with my sleepless decision making 👍👍 | details under the cut if u wanna know but i'm a bit of a hater fyi |

longer seasons - i don't think this will happen, if miracle mods show up i might stamp them on in a different color but from what i've found it's pretty ingrained in the game that 28 days is the longest and if modders we're going to crack it they might've done it already but when im playing on pretty long life spans i just 💔💔 50+ days seasons would be the dream, but i'd be happy with 45 👀 10 outfits per category - same as before ig, this is probably super niche but i'm not satisfied and i hate having to get into cas to change it up so much bc in my head they have a closet each and i want to mix and match pieces in a realistic way 👚 pack refreshes - tbf, they did set up an expectation for that one which for the looks of it they are done with it; there's so much to fix, dine out in general, mermaids deserve some love in comparison to the other occults, updates to the bodies of water (going in the water in windenburg would be legendary), hu just bug fixes and compatiblity here and there would be nice (more hiking ? power walks in more places? its so weird how they are restricted to ONE place) now by world refreshes - i mean that in my dreams they go back and expand the maps they give us 🗺️🗺️ im greedy and want 2 neighbourhoods for my vampires & spellcasters, a lil more space in moonwood mill, granite falls & del sol valley too why not not gonna happen so i can say wtv an extra space in mt komorebi with apartments and since we're at it in san sequoia too; will def not happen working gallery - ig that might be coming too ?? idk my gallery sucks at times like it wont find any results when there are ?? and i know there are bc if i restrict more it might come up with something?? also just wanted better mechanism for the searches, i never had issues with disturbing content showing up tho so idk i heard some simmers weren't so lucky

bigger households - having to control or monitor 8 human/humanish sims is challeging enough but because pets, because having to fake apartments, because reasons; i use mccc but this workaround brings issues in cas so yea, wishlist ✔️ snakes // lizards - this would've been appropriate to launch with horses imo and i'd love if there had been interaction/compatibility from snakes in the wild and those taller friends & other small pets - small pet options in ts4 are non existent, sorry, birds only exist in that one tree (they are probably happy about not being captive actually), bunnies are also wild (personally im fine with it but i know that its a popular pet so i'd love if it was an option), reptiles don't exist (yet) and rodents are exclusive to the slap-in-the-face-of-this-community pack... 🐁🐇🐢🦎🐍🐦🐜 faeries or other fae kin - i feel like they've hinted at it for quite a while and we've seen it show up in quizzes too?? 🧚‍♀️ so i'm hopeful for this one and hope they are just trying to make sure they properly deliver on it bc there's a lot of fantasy enthusiasts and they deserve it & woodland creatures - personally would love it if the fae pack came with woodsy world and the addition of woodland creatures at least the spiritual kind (like unicorns or a white doe which they possibly alluded to with puzzles - it made me real giddy) bonus points if it has some outdoor retreat compatibility

owning more lots - after winning the lottery or keeping up with a family for generations, sims can accumulate quite a lot of money, there's not a lot of expenses in the life of a sim tbh, travelling only costs one loading screen, gardeing makes you rich and thats ok ig but being able to own a holiday house would be welcomed, not just a business 🏘️ nectar making - when tartosa came but no nectar making i was a bit let down, imagine making or acquiring a special batch for your wedding?? it would've been lovely and appropriate for a wedding pack but ... yeah anyway it comes with the horse pack for some reason so at least it's coming, and only 3 years after juice fizzing 🥂 bands and more instruments - another thing they've hinted at in polls and i kinda wished it to come with HSY yet was not surprised it didn't; that being said we need drums and other instruments like bass and/or contrabass, just more than what we have if we're to have bands plz skating and/or surfing - these two are very different and honestly idk how the latter one would work, i just think they are popular sports we could have; at least skate boards should be easy enough to implement and a cute way for sims to drift around their closed off worlds so i have more hope for that one 🏄

hotels - even if they've been around the franchise and ts4 seems to draw all it's ideas from previous iterations i'm not confident they haven't just been replaced by rental properties but it's not the same, i'd like to be able to meet other guests vacationing on the property without having to engineer everything about it, ordering meals at hotel services and running/owning a hotel also; retirement homes - ELDER SIM LOVE IN GENERAL (canes, health issues, idk im not that old yet ..hum wills & testiments, special interactions) i feel growing together really fucked up on that one but i was not surprised bc it's ts4 and we rely on crumbs mods here and thats why some players stop buying dlc 👵☕👴 the townie refreshes - just pay some fans to do it at this point bc it's taking so long; most of them don't need to be redesigned anyway, just add hot and cold weather outfits, preferences and maybe a sneaky extra trait or lifestyle they could have developed and voilá, finish that chapter disabilities - i don't want it in the form of traits and thing it's rotten to make people to pay for it BUT i'd love to see some disability representation in this game, physical, cognitive and what not. i understand at this point it might be hard to introduce but i think it be really important to have this in the sims and ts4 is about time funerals & cemeteries - death is a part of life, this is a life sim... thats it basically, i want it, i miss it in comparison to previous games, i fake it with parks and inviting guests over, but we shouldn't have to tho seems pretty basic stuff

more and better apartments - i would like it if we saw more conjoined builds, more apartment builds, both with few floors and plenty, the option to have sims living in different floors of the same building and even having business or community lots in builds that are divided into multiple lots - ambitious ik - bonus points if they update apartments in a way you can own one or more and rent them out - i don't want to play as a landlord, i swear - i just want my sims to be allowed do simbnb while they go for a weekend in the city (which ig u cant bc of the current system/coding idk) or bringing them to more existing worlds but bc of the obstacles to that i have 0 hopes well-crafted worldly words - i see a lot of americancentric choices being made when creating the worlds, it's unrealistic for a global player base and hum.. a life sim and whenever they drop interesting worlds they are always so frigging small you have to sacrifice making a lively town, with people and businesses, if you want you're sim to live in certain environments (or use multibuilds, which is fine ig but it bothers me a bit) and they fail to utilize the common spaces of the neighbourhoods in ways simmers would love to, to bring some life into these worlds; 🌍 the worldly part of it... i am yet to see african like climates and cultures represented, asia is so wide & full of diversity and we get one japan inspired world so far, south america if confined to a destination world if you don't have mods ig (maybe it's changed by now im not sure) and europe while being represented in 3 packs so far - and one of them being the best in terms of lots per world we've had so far - 2 of them have few lots and its all very niche, so in a way i don't need to be able to point to the actual cities that inspired those worlds, it's not my priority just something that crowded and lively that draws from wider range of cultures and that mre people could recognize as close to their experience would be nice 🌏 also more islands maybe im a sulani simp new jobs & careers - i love GTW, it was the first pack i got and sure it deserved a refresh by now and i would welcome it, especially if it meant more careers, i really liked that gameplay feature; that being said i feel like we deserve more job options OR branches. y no dentist ??? i cant think of ideas right now but while playing the game and setting up townies or sims i feel limited a lot trans content fixes - yea i avoid using the in-game system for trans rep (i headcanon a lot and cheat stuff basically) bc its just not the best in general (clothes fit weird, there's no changes in the frame through time as there would be with hormonal treatments - which there arent in the game so makes sense), not in comparison bc i dont know other games to compare it to just real life ig but im not even that informed tbh; i am happy they didnt create a life sim where trans people are erased and don't want them to be discouraged to stop investing in this at all so i try not to mention it but fix the binder at least & here's a tumblr post that helps me a bit something that surprises me - /pos !! because... they don't... a lot of what we see seems to me like repeating the content ideas from older games but spreading it out to make as much dlc as possible; i had a lot of more wow reveal moments with ts2 & ts3 i feel like but cant truly be sure bc brain is mush

🐢- Yeah! Leo is a white throated turtle, Mikey is a red eared slider, Donnie is a box shell and Raph is a softshell

🫵- Phew hard question, I think everyone a little bit, from April and Splinter to the turtles- experience is the best teacher!

🥊- Raph has a unique case with his anger in this iteration, due to his soft shell, he is vulnurable on his back, making him more aggressive when fighting or targetted on the back, he is very distrusting, appearing angry and on top of that he can hold grudges very easily. So while he may not have the classic case, he still has some.

🗣️- They were fighting for a while on who gets to be the leader, but clearly Leo's sixth sense saved everyone enough for them to just accept him as the leader.

🔬 - Not just tech! Donnie is more of a maths and puzzles guy, he likes systems and specific orders so he lacks a little creativity to be able to make some things (Mikey helps him out with the creative parts)

🎨- Very much so! Mikey is an all-round guy, the jack of all trades if you will- he loves any creative tasks from art to DIY to architecture.

🐀- He was a human working in a lab ;P

🧑‍🍼- He didn't know the turtles before rescuing them, so he was confused on how to raise them for a long time, while he is somewhat absent, he tries his best when he is present.
