My husband is known on our kids’ school campus as the “super dad who always has the kiddos.” (My son is out of this photo though) Michael is an amazing father and we are so grateful for him!!! I know it’s a lot, but please read the whole thing. No TL;DR. Change! News! Fun and excitement? So… I need to move out of my house in May. As I’m ready to move on in several aspects of my life, I have resigned my position at the winery and my last day is May 3rd. I’ll be leaving Monterey shortly after that, depending on interviews and prospects. I’ve enjoyed quite a bit of my time back in Monterey, but it was never meant to be a permanent return. While it’s definitely past time to move on, I find myself in the unusual (and frankly, somewhat daunting) position of not knowing what’s next. I have no ties and I’m open to a new adventure, possibly one with ties. (FYI- I prefer to be the one tying.) Anyone who knows me well knows that I’m looking for something, but haven’t found it. Anyone who knows me REALLY well knows that I have no idea what it is, but I’m going to keep looking anyway. And I’m not giving up the hunt. My inclination is to move back to LA. I miss my friends there. I miss the creativity. I miss the food scene, the art scene, the film scene, and so much more. (I don’t miss the traffic.) However, I’m open to exploring opportunities anywhere in the world. Or if you know of something REALLY cool, I’m not limiting myself to only this world. If you know of something that would utilize my particular skillset, interest me, and provide suitable financial reward, then please let me know. Resumé available upon request. I’ll also be looking for a living situation wherever I land. Preferably alone, but willing to entertain the idea of the right roommate(s). Share this. Pass it around. Ask your friends.
