#purse making

Started my next project today. Only had time to draw up my pattern but I'm excited to start cutting out my leather pieces tomorrow.

I made another purse! This time a sailor moon one! I am so glad I had the Galaxy Brian idea to make the top v portion the sailor collar since I had the transformation brooch decorative magnetic snap.

Getting the top plate on with the bow was hell. I originally had vinyl on both sides of the strap, but with the bow that was too thick. So a friend suggested I use something thinner on the other side so I used the same satin as the bow. I punched holes in the bow and the vinyl with a leather punch and ripped through the satin and interfacing with an awl. Lining up the front plate with the holes on the back plate was an ordeal and took forever, but it looks great so it was worth it.

The pattern is the melody hobo bag by cloud splitter bags. The sailor moon fabric is from mahou sewsation, and the zipper pulls and magnetic snap are from alchemats hardware.

The purse was much easier to make than the last purse but I still did have some trouble. The vinyl was thick so even with an edge stitching food some of my top stitching isn't the cleanest, but overall I am super happy with it

headcanon that percy and annabeth host a 'Grover Appreciation Day' once a month to remind grover how much they value him. they have a picnic out in the strawberry fields where they talk about their future and grover's role in it. they talk about getting married one day and asking grover to be the best man. they later explore the city and take pictures in place they definitely shouldn't. they go to lunch and cause harmless mayhem like they did when they were younger. they end the evening with a movie marathon of all of grover favorite nature documentaries and fall asleep cuddling together on the couch.

the thing about harley quinn's character design is that they always strip her of her clowness post-joker when that's when she should be leaning into the clown aesthetic more strongly than ever. the joker was always a shit clown, he's not funny, he doesn't look clownish, he's just a weirdo in a purple suit who finds violence funny. harley has clowness in her personality, clowness is built into her literal legal name, she should get the clown stuff in the divorce.

‘Patience! Clover au’

Sparked by my lack of Underswap knowledge, where I saw the cowboy hat and toy gun in TS Underswap’s ruins and questioned if those even still belonged Clover or if they still made it farther into the underground and simply had a change in soul trait and equipment. (Don’t tell me if this is not accurate to the lore I needed to draw this)

Anyways yes i think i am clever for how i tweaked the bandanna sue me
