you are correct Brooke/Jake is my mega rare pair <3<3 the bit that gets me about them (hypothetically ofc because uuuh 13 results on ao3 god help me <3<3) is that moment where Brooke goes from “Chloe’s friend” to “Brooke” in jake’s mind and ofc Brooke’s turmoil about having this puppy dog crush on Jake Dillinger her best friend’s Boyfriend/Should Be Boyfriend/Ex. Idk I enjoy spinning then around and giving Brooke hanahaki about it lmao

Does anyone else ever think of the idea of Brooke and Jake Having A Thing at one point?

Brooke's current bf has just cheated on her with Chloe, who hooked up with him to cheat on Jake. Two birds with one stone kind of deal. The two vent (probably drunkenly) about how Chloe's so dramatic and cruel and blah blah blah, a lot of overly vicious stuff they probably don't mean because the wound is fresh and they're not entirely sober.

Somewhere along the way, Brooke kisses Jake without thinking and immediately regrets it. "I just kissed my best friend's ex, oh my God, she's gonna hate me, I can't believe I just did that," etc etc. Jake sees this as the bitter act of defiance that it is rather than anything deeper, and you know what? After all this time, maybe he'd like to indulge.

"I won't tell if you don't," he tells Brooke. Partially to comfort her, and partially to invite the sweetest kind of revenge they could possibly enact. Their minds are elsewhere the whole time, of course; they probably can't even commit to anything more than making out. Brooke resents that Jake has gotten to kiss the lips she couldn't, and Jake wishes that Chloe could look at him with half the fondness as she does with Brooke. Maybe Rich is in the back of his mind too, whether he'd actually admit such a thing or not.

Does anyone else think of that?

thoughts on royal pains, pinkberry, and pupgrade

Royal Pains - ooohgh they are so interesting 2 me. they hate each other but they keep coming back over and over again, they need each other and they need to be away from each other and and and (i love them, they’re complicated)

Pinkberry - they’re also very interesting to me, but in a different way if that makes sense. i think they could honestly be at least somewhat good together but only after their shit ton of problems have been worked through. Chloe was very Not Good to Brooke for a long time so i can’t really see them in a relationship until some things have been resolved (i still love them though, again, they’re complicated)

Pupgrade - honestly i don’t have a strong opinion on them, at least at the moment, but tbh i think they could be cute!!

also all 3 of them in a polycule would be interesting
