Alt!Carlos has taken over my brain. I’m literally mapping out a patch jacket for him, when I couldn’t even make my own. OTL So far I’ve given him, Transmetal, Slayer, Rage Against The Machine, System of a Down, Hatebreed, and maybe Brujeria and Slipknot? Still not sure what the back panel will be. But I’m thinking his taste will be more fast paced and rebellious. I want to give him more hardcore but most of the hardcore bands I know are more modern and I prefer to make headcanons that can fit in canon rather than AUs. Also tricky not just giving him my taste in music lol… but damn if I’m not super excited about doing a crossover between the two things in the least normal about:)

I put out a new chill, dreamy instrumental, inspired by ancient mythology, Sappho of Lesbos, and the swirling emotions of limerance and fear when new love calls.

This is from a play called Nuit for which I am composing a soundtrack, a really cool combon of hilarious skits and breathtaking dance choreo. This is written for a dance between two Lesbian characters, a pivotal and tender moment where they realize their unspoken longing. Hope some of you can see it in Montreal this summer, seeing it with my partial soundtrack in the fall was one of my proudest musical moments 🎵🎶🎶

I know this isn't really a single, but I was excited to share and maybe it can be the soundtrack to your little moments. For fans of Air, Daft Punk, Wendy Carlos, Bowie, UNKLE, Foxes in Fiction, Brian Eno, Kate Bush, Locate S1, and more 💖💖💖

FONTAINES D.C. - Big Shot (Glastonbury festival, 2024)

One of my favourite lines from Big Shot. Here's Grian singing it during Fontaines' headline set on the Park Stage at Glasto 2024. Figured it was also a decent shot, the pensive mood, Grian's tricolour band he sets up on his mic at every show the band play now, the beauty of all that in context of the line he's singing. And of course, for Grian in the eyeliner; I am a people pleaser at heart. I've been meaning to gif that moment since June.

On this day 20 years ago The amazing New York rock band ( also one of my favorite bands) Interpol released their sophomore album Antics. Antics has got to be one of my favorite Interpol albums besides my absolute favorite Interpol albums El Pintor and Turn On The Bright Lights Happy 20 years! Antics and thanks for the music Interpol.
