Hi, I hope you are well
I would like to request a scenario with the League of Villains with a reader who is also part of the league but is an inactive member due to a terminal illness, perhaps the reader is an important piece to All for One's plan
(can you add afo too?)
Is it possible to write something platonic? Just how they treat the Reader there and reader's condition, feel free to modify and thank you 😋
Terminally ill Reader Headcanons!
ft. LoV , platonic
background: your quirk is whatever you want, but the drawback to using it means your illness accelerates. thanks for the idea!!!
Shigaraki
recognizes your fragility and requests that you become inactive - it becomes a point of tension for the two of you.
he really just doesn't want you to be in danger, but you can't help but fight him on it. you still wanna help the only family you've known.
he works out a deal with AFO (keep reading) in order to keep you alive and in the league.
he's the last person to say goodbye when he leaves on missions - he just likes to be alone with you a minute longer. he takes what he can get when it comes to time with you.
Dabi
he wants you out of the league. he actually is the one who chose you to join, seeing how sad you were out on the streets.
but he grew to care for you more than he wants to admit, and he can't handle seeing you be hurt
he can't help but feel guilty for bringing you in, but he still takes care of you in ways he feels he can (bringing you food, helping you change any bandages, etc)
if anyone was going to find a way to keep you breathing, it's him.
Toga
she does blood transfusions for you relatively often! she has no issue doing so either.
when it comes to protecting you, she's a little feral about it. but you were the first friend she made in the League, and you're special to her because of that.
she's been known to drink your blood and use your quirk so that you don't have to, and luckily the side effects don't hurt her, but she can't hold the form for long.
When she's home visiting with you, she helps you change and brushes your hair while telling you stories
Twice
he actually cannot believe it when you start getting sicker. he cries and rages over it
he's the first to pull a blanket over your lap and bring you some juice before walking away because he knows if he stays too long he'll get more attached (he's already attached)
you're his favorite league member besides toga. you three are a trio.
he buys you ice cream even though he knows you need better food than that (he doesn't care, it makes you smile)
Spinner
he's going to be your support system best he can! he always offers to take you to treatments
tells you you're going to be okay even when you're getting put on machines and having tubes attached to you. he stays.
he will ensure your days are always enjoyed, even if you only laugh a little (aka he says dumb jokes to make you smile)
if you go, a little bit of him goes too.
Kurogiri
he will take you to every appointment, and will make sure all doctors know exactly how to care for your condition
monitors your heartrate, the way it beats, and lets the other members know when it's irregular (this happens when you see _____ (insert your fav LoV member)).
he's not great at comforting, but he is good at keeping you company. you never feel alone because Kuro is always there for you.
Mr. Compress
this man will pretend like you being sick doesn't affect him. oh it DOES!
you're a dear friend to him, always wanting to hear his stories and watch his newest tricks
so, when he finds out about your sickness, he doesn't let you know how much it hurts him to know that you've been hurting yourself to help all of them.
he doesn't treat you any differently, but he starts to value the time with you even more dearly. you're so close to his heart.
Magne
she will do anything to make sure you're going to get better
she's honestly a little in denial about your illness at first too
but she realizes the severity when she visits you at the hospital once, and she breaks down and cries
she holds your hand and tells you how you still have that kind look in your eyes
AFO
he's really good at pretending he cares, and that's just what he does.
he knew that you would become terminal with the use of your quirk, and he knew the rest of the League would love you.
that's why he kept you around, anyways. he wanted the emotional leverage over the rest of the League.
he's the one who gave you that quirk, after all. your poor parents didn't think they had a choice.
but you don't know about that.
he lets you live without knowing you're a pawn in his game.

Addidentally Injuring Their S/o
Part Two Here
YT Video Here (thanks @vanillaicedlatte-yt)
Genre: a n g s t
Type: Drabble/ Headcannons
Summary: in the heat of an arguement, after a battle, etc., they activate their quirk and Y/n somewhat permanently.
Warnings: gore, blood, fighting/ cursing, crying, burns, toxic relationships, 290 spoilers, endeavor
Other: This was meant to come out yesterday, but shitty mental health got in the way, so yeet. Also, I’m sorry these get worse and worse as they progress, that’s usually how things go for me. This was also inspired by a Tik Tok that I can’t find where Shigaraki accidentally dusts y/n who’s trying to comfort him. It was a Cosplay, if anyone can find it please let me know so I can link it and credit the creator.
Characters: Shigaraki, Dabi, Bakugou, Todoroki
Angst Taglist: @smolchildfangirl @combat-wombatus @mandalorian-baby-bird @waffleareniceandfluffy (let me know if you want to be added to or removed from the taglist)
Tomura Shigaraki
Tumblr media
It had started as a great day, a perfect day even. Everyone was listening to him, the league was getting news coverage, people were afraid.
Everything was too perfect.
Something was going to go wrong, he was sure of it.
He hated the way everyone was laughing and joking together, Toga helping Magne do her nails, Spinner playing video games with Twice backstage, and you were chatting with Dabi and Compress about the league’s next moves.
Kuroguri was off doing something or other, and he’d mentioned another ‘follower of All For One.’
But something felt off.
And of course you would notice him.
You were hiding at an abandoned theatre, and he was sitting on the edge of the stage, staring out at the empty audience.
You were with Dabi and Compress in the wings, and glanced away from them towards your boyfriend.
He seemed stressed, scratching at his neck vigorously. You sighed, standing up and heading over to him, sitting beside him.
You placed your hand on top of his spare hand, offering him a soft smile.’
“Hey, baby~” you cooed. “How’s my boyfriend doing?”
He grumbled, yanking his hand away from you. Your theory was correct, he was stressed about something.
He didn’t want to talk to anyone, especially not you. You always tried to comfort him and convince him everything was ‘okay’ even when it wasn’t.
“Go away.” He growled. “I’m trying to think.”
“Thinking about what?” You asked, scooching closer to him.
“None of your fucking business!” He snapped at you, and you flinched away from him.
“Tomura, I was just trying to help-“ you frowned at him. He could be immature and bratty at times he’s, but he usually made sure not to get that way with you.
“I don’t give a shit! I don’t need your damn help!” He stood up, marching over to the wings to head backstage. You followed suit.
Compress and Dabi quickly rushed off the stage when they saw Shigaraki heading towards them. Dabi stopped for a moment next to you, looking at you.
“Good luck with him.” He said, jerking his head towards Shigaraki. You shrugged at him.
Shigaraki overheard Dabi’s notion, anger and distress intensifying. Good luck? Good luck?! What the hell was wrong with him?
Dabi and Compres joined Toga and Magne in the red velvet chairs, Compress requesting that he gets his nails done in orange and black when she finished with Magne’s.
Shigaraki pushed aside the large heavy curtains blocking his way backstage, finding Spinner and Twice huddled near a small TV, an old PvP game loading onscreen
They both looked over their shoulders, staring up at their boss. You quickly darted backstage, crouching next to the ‘gamer boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis’ as they had nicknamed themselves.
“I’m so sorry,” you whispered to them. “He’s in a bit of a mood. I’ll take care of it, okay?”
Did he hear you correctly?
A mood?
You’ll ‘take care of it?’
Of it?
What.
The.
Fuck.
“Say that again, to my fuckung face!” Shigaraki screamed at you. “Tell me I’m just ‘iN a MoOd’ again!!”
You turned to him, eyes wide and scared.
“I’m sorry, Tomura, I didn’t mean it like that- I just didn’t want our friends to worry!”
“They aren’t our fucking friends! They just work for us- they work for me!” He corrected himself.
You stood up, flicking your wrist to motion for Twice and Spinner to leave. They quickly turned off their game and rushed away.
“You might not consider them our friends, but they’re certainly my friends. And I won’t let you scare my friends.” You stood your ground, taking a step towards him.
He scoffed, turning around and marching back onstage. You sighed, following after him, again.
“Please, Tomura talk to me. I’m your partner I want to help you!” You exclaimed. “You’re worrying me, please!”
“Well I don’t want to fucking talk!” He shouted, “and I don’t have to!”
“Please, Tenko!”
“THAT’S NOT MY NAME!”
Red.
He saw red.
His hand flew away from him before he could stop himself, a target missile. It’s destination? Your face.
You lifted your hands instinctively, and he grabbed your wrist, fingers curling around your skin.
In that moment, all he felt was relief. Thank fucking god you’d lifted your arms. It was the one thing that has saved you from him.
You screamed, pain shooting up through you from your arm. Your skin peeled, falling away in tiny fragments of dust.
The dust fell around his fingers, your hand and wrist were completely gone now.
You felt someone pull you backwards, and you saw a glint of silver as Toga quickly severed your arm, blood spilling onto the floor of the stage where the pile of dust that used to be your arm lay.
You fell to your knees, screaming, reaching up and clutching at your elbow- the point of separation- desperately, trying to will your arm back into existence.
“TOMURA!” You shrieked, tears falling down your cheeks. “TOMURA! FIX IT!!”
It was hopeless, you knew there was no way for him to un-dust you. You fell forward, forehead pressed against the floor.
Shigaraki took a step back, glancing at his hand. There were a few speckles of dust resting on his palm. His breath quickened, eyes widening as he cupped his other hand over his mouth.
He stared down at you, Blood staining your shirt as you screamed and cried.
It must have hurt.
He remembered the promise he’d made after you’d started dating, when he’d protected you from some assholes trying to mug you.
“I promise you, I’m going to protect you. Nothing, no one, will lay a hand on you ever again.”
It was a promised meant against anyone who posed a threat to you.
He never meant to become a threat himself.

Some days were always going to be better than others, that’s simply how it works when you’re recovering from trauma.
Today was one of the bad days.
He’d woken up with a thick, heavy, dark feeling in his chest.
He wasn’t even comforted by the warmth your body produced next to him.
Most days he’d roll over and wrap his arm around your body, pulling you close to his body to cuddle you.
This morning however, Dabi rolled away from you and climbed out of bed. You looked over your shoulder at him, confused and slightly hurt. Did you do something to make him upset last night?
You followed after your angsty boyfriend, walking out of the bedroom and down the hall into the kitchen.
He crashed at your apartment a lot, being a villain it was hard to get his own home. You didn’t know where he stayed when he wasn’t at your place.
He grabbed a box of cereal out of the cupboards, pouring himself a bowl. You pulled the milk out of the fridge, handing it to him with a smile.
He scrunched up his nose at your kindness, snatching the carton from your hand and angrily pulling the cap off.
You sighed, nervously pouring yourself a bowl as Dabi started to eat. He didn’t even bother to sit at the table.
“Hey, babe? You okay? You seem kind of... off today.”
Your boyfriend glanced down at you, cerulean eyes seemingly staring right through you.
“M’fine.” He grunted. Your frown tightened.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t believe that.” You shook your head at him.
Dabi glared down at you in annoyance. His scowl deepening. You took a step back, concerned and scared.
“Dabi, please talk to me.” You pleaded with him.
“Uzéndayo.” He grumbled angrily. “Fuck off.”
“Please, you’ll hurt my feelings.” You scoffed sarcastically. “You can talk to me, y’know.”
“Don’t fuckin need to. Leave me alone.”
“Dabi, this is my place. I’m not leaving you alone.”
“Then I’ll leave!” He snapped, brushing past you and leaving his cereal on the counter to sog.
He snatched his jacket off the back of the couch, shrugging it onto his shoulders.
“Seriously, Dabi! What the hell’s going on! Did I do something wrong?”
It pissed him off further to hear you blame yourself. You always thought it was your fault, but it never was.
“Oh shut the fuck up for once! Quit thinking it’s all about you! It’s not always about you!”
“Dabi just fucking talk to me! I’m not letting you leave until you tell me what’s wrong!”
You stepped in front of the door, flinging your arms open to block ilhis exit. He looked you in the eyes, seething.
“Nothing happened!” He shouted “Sometimes I’m just angry for no reason! Get out of my way and I’ll take my anger out on some rando and not on you. Then I’ll come back and we can pretend this never happened.”
“Dabi I won’t let you just kill some innocent person because you’re upset! Just sit with me and we can talk it out and-“
“That’s always your solution! Quit being a wimpy pacifist and move!”
“I’m not a pacifist, I just don’t think you should kill without reason!”
“Well I have a fucking reason!”
“And what’s that?”
“I want to!”
“That’s not a reason!”
“Just get out of my fucking way or I’ll make you!”
“Dabi, just talk to me!”
It was the last thing you said before he grabbed your arm and pulled your body forward to meet his. Your chest pressed against his, his face right in front of yours.
It’d be hot if you weren’t so scared.
“Listen here you little shit,” he growled, low and angry “I’m stronger than you in every fucking way.”
“Dabi?”
“I could kill you in an instant if I so desired.”
“Dabi-“
“Incinerate your filthy annoying ass any day I want, so be fucking grateful for once and watch your damn mouth!”
“Dabi!”
“SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN! I am superior to you in every way, you should be grateful I even share oxygen with you!”
“DABI YOU’RE HURTING ME!”
“I DON’T CARE IF IT HURTS, LISTEN TO ME YOU DIRTY MOTHERFUCKER!” He screamed in your face, eyes wild with unchecked rage.
Tears flowed down your face as you sobbed, indescribable pain was shooting up through your arms.
Dabi’s eyes finally drifted downwards, and he froze, mouth falling slack.
Smoke was billowing off his hands, and his knuckles were white with how hard he was gripping you.
He snapped his hands away from you, curling them into his body as his eyes widened. He took a few steps back.
There were black scorch marks on your body in the shape of his hands. They looked real bad.
“Get out.” You whispered, so soft he couldn’t hear.
“W-what?”
“GET OUT!” You screamed, pointing at the door despite the intense pain in your arms. “GET OUT OR I’M CALLING THE POLICE!”
“B-baby I’m sorry!” He shouted “I didn’t mean to, I promise!”
“I DON’T GIVE A SHIT! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOME BEFORE I TURN YOU IN!”
Dabi stumbled past you, quickly rushing out of your apartment and shutting the door behind him.
His back was pressed against the wood as he slid down, covering his face as he listened to your sobs on the other side, hearing your footsteps fade into the bathroom, probably to run cold water on your skin.
For a moment, all the could think about was the cereal on the counter, getting soggy.
“Fuck.” He muttered, eyes burning as they tried to produce tears without his tear ducts.
“I’m so fucking sorry.”

There we go
It was a shitty day.
Well, most days were shitty days, but today was shittier than usual.
A home visit, Endeavor trying to act like he was ‘upset about everything that happened,’ and pretending he was the victim in the situation.
It would be enough to set anyone on edge, especially Shouto.
So it wasn’t much of a surprise when he returned to the dorms with a deep frown on his face.
Even when Midoriya, Iida, and Uraraka tried to talk to him, he still seemed angry the whole time. There was really only one thing that should be able to cheer him up. Let’s hope you do your job well.
“Knock knock~ Shouto it’s me!” you stood on the outside of Shouto’s dorm. You knew Shouto must be stressed, so you’d gotten him some brownies from the sweets cupboard, Sato’s locks were easy to pick.
“I don’t want to fucking talk.” his response was blunt, clearly annoyed that you’d bothered his brooding. “Go away.”
You sighed, he could act like such a child sometimes!
“Shouto, I just want to cheer you up! Let me in, babe.” a moment later, he swung the door open, am annoyed glare on his face. You smiled sweetly at him, handing him the plate of brownies. His hands remained in his pockets, glancing down at the brownies then back up at you.
“Um... can I come in?” you asked quietly. He shrugged, stepping aside to let you in. You stepped past him, sitting on the edge of the platform bed, setting the brownies on the nightstand.
Shouto closed the door behind him, turning to face you.
“Do... do you want to talk about it?” Shouto huffed, shaking his head and looking away from you.
“Do I look like I want to talk?” he snapped. You flinched, his tone was harsh.
“Shouto I just want to help, you don’t need to be rude.”
“I don’t give a shit if I’m being ‘rude.’“ He growled, arms crossed.
His eyes stared coldly at you. Yeah, he was definetly upset.
“That’s okay, we can chat about something else. Oh, Sato probably needs to change the lock on the sweets cupboard, I kinda broke it getting you these brownies!” you looked up at him, smile faltering as he looked down his nose at you. “Are... are you mad at me?”
“Wow, you just noticed that.” he rolled his eyes. “I told you to go away but you didn’t.”
“I-I’m sorry, I was just really worried about you. You’re my boyfriend and I love you, I don’t like seeing you upset.”
“Then maybe you should try fucking listening to me for once. If I don’t want to talk, then you can’t make me talk.” You nodded, apologizing again.
“Oh my god shut the fuck up!” he shouted. “You’re always talking, always apologizing, you’re getting on my fucking nerves!”
“Okay!” you stood up quickly, lifting your hands defensively. “I’ll just leave!”
You brushed past him on your way to the door, hesitating on the handle. You glanced over your shoulder at him.
“Would you fucking stop with the pity?” you looked at the ground, not saying anything.
You heard the slap before you felt it.
The sting shot through your face, and you could hear Shouto shouting at you, but it was muffled. You didn’t know what he was saying.
You lifted your hand to your cheek, hissing in pain. He didn’t just slap you,
He used his fire.
You choked on your words, turning to look at your boyfriend with tear-filled eyes.
Shouto was looking at you with a look of sheer horror on his face.
“I’m sorry...” you whimpered. “I’m going-” you slipped out the door, ignoring Shouto’s shout for you to turn back and talk to him
That it was an accident.
That he didn’t mean it.
That didn’t matter.

Fuck Icy-Hot.
Fuck. Him.
He said he’d gotten stronger since the Summer Camp, but he hadn’t at all.
He was still loosing to Todoroki, and no matter how hard he was working, he still kept loosing to him.
His hand was buried in his hair, tugging harshly every so often as he listened to you ramble about something that happened during your work study.
Even you were getting ahead of him, his own partner was getting stronger than him. He’d promised he’d protect you, but that would be useless if you kept improving faster than him.
“Then afterwords, FatGum took me, Kirishima, and Amajiki to this resturaunt, and the owner turned out to be a huge fan of FatGum, she gave us free desert! Oh my gosh the cake was so good!” you exclaimed, laughing a little.
Bakugou grumbled under his breath a little, keeping his eyes away from your estatic face.
“Great.” you glanced back to your boyfriend from where you sat at your desk, eyebrows furroring. Usually, Katsuki would give you one of those proud smirks all like ‘that’s my partner,’ but today he seemed upset.
“You alright, Katsuki? Was your provisional licence class stressful today?” you asked sympathetically, moving your hand towards him to comfort him.
He yanked his hand away from you, shooting you a pissed off look.
“Fuck no.” he growled. “Even if it was, I can handle it. I don’t need your damn help.” you rested your hand on your lap.
“I know, Katsuki. My boyfriend’s so strong!” you smiled brightly at him. Usually complimenting him would make him feel better, but today it seemed to only piss him off more.
“Shut up.” he hunched over, curling into himself more. He pulled one leg up to his chest, holding it under his knee.
“Uh.. are you sure you’re okay?” you asked, cocking your head to the side gently.
“I’m fucking fine!” He snapped, keeping his eyes anywhere but on you. “I don’t need your pity!”
“Pity? Katsuki I’m not pitying you, I’m worried for you. You’re my boyfriend and I want you to be happy so-”
“Didn’t I say to shut up?” he stood up, shoving his hands into his pockets. “Don’t give me your worry, fight me instead!”
“Why the hell would I fight you, Katsuki? I already know you’re stronger than me!”
“Fucking how? You got that new work study you’re constantntly talking about! How haven’t you gotten stronger than me?”
“Is that what this is about? I’ve only been at my work study for a few days, how in the world could I have leaped leagues in that amount of time to reach your level?”
“Then why even join that stupid work study if you’re not getting stronger?”
“I am getting stronger, just not fast enough to be at your level that quickly!” you explained. “Sorry?”
“Ugh just shut the fuck up!” he shouted, storming out of your dorm and down the hall to the common room. There were a only a few people in there,
Yao-Momo and Jirou in the kitchen, Kirishima and Kaminari on the couches, and Sero was leaning over the back of the couch. They all looked up when Bakugou stormed in with you on his tail.
“Katsuki, you’re confusing me! What’s going on? How can I help? Is it something I did?”
“Just leave me alone, okay? Go away!” he shouted over his shoulder. Kaminari, Kirishima, Sero, Jirou, and Yaoyorazu all snapped their heads towards you and Bakugou.
“Katsuki, please! You’re scaring me!” you glanced over at your friends, Jirou and Yao-Momo glancing between each other and muttering.
“Yo, Kachan, the hell’s going on between you and Y/n?” Kaminari asked, standing up. Sero hissed at him to sit down if he wanted to keep his head.
“I’m sorry, Kaminari, Bakugou’s upset and I don’t know why-”
“Don’t know why? Quit it with the lies! I hate liars!”
“I-I’m not lying! I really don’t know!” you reached forward, latching your hand onto his wrist. “Please just talk to me!”
“BULLSHIT!” he snapped his hand away from yours. “You’re a fucking liar!”
“Bakubro, calm down!” Kirishima stood up, briskly walking over to the two of you.
“STAY OUT OF THIS!” Bakugou slammed his palm against Kirishima’s face, setting off a small explosion.
“KIRISHIMA!” You ran to his side as the smoke cleared, finding his face hardened.
“I’m okay, I’m okay!” he assured you. He offered you a small smile, suddenly, he yelped and ducked, avoiding another hit from Bakugou.
“LET GO OF THEM!” he shouted, and his hand sparked twice before setting off again. This time right next to your face.
You hit the ground first, then felt stinging pain across your face and shoulder.
You didn’t even hear your own screaming because of the fact that he blew up your ears.
You didn’t register Kirishima picking you up, or Bakugou staring after you in fear, or the others in the room scolding Bakugou or worrying about you.
All you knew in that moment was pain.
Pure, white hot, agonizing pain.

I Want To Hear You Say It
Ch. 8: Did You Find What You Were Looking For?
Word Count: 6.8K
A/N: A fun filler chapter!! (I wanted to split the chapter, but it didn’t feel right so yall get a long one:))
Prev.
-
It’s quiet between the two men. It isn’t out of the ordinary, while they might be close- or as close as two villains can be- their conservations are usually short and limited to only certain subjects, neither of which any of the men want to approach. Shuichi doesn’t know when it started, he just knows that it has. Him and the other members have noticed the sudden change that Shigaraki has taken on lately. The secrecy- more so than usual- along with the sneaking out late at night and sneaking back in just before dawn. No one knows where he’s going and even if one did manage to follow him, they lost him just as easily, almost as if Shigaraki was making it all that much harder to track him and his location.
There’s different bets going around. Twice believes that he’s gone to underground concerts which host both villains and civilians alike- he’s sure Jin had mentioned that he went to a few to acquire some cheap alcohol. Toga believes that he’s gone out to try to find out where Kurogiri exactly is, and as far-fetched as that is, it’s not impossible. Dabi likes to believe that he’s gone to some internet café since the “internet sucks” here at the current base. He isn’t wrong, the little internet that they do get is from a coffee place opposite of where they rest for now. Mr. Compress and Magne don’t really want to get into it, commenting that as long as he isn’t leading anyone back, then it’s all okay. Shuichi on the other hand doesn’t know what to think. There’s something off about Shigaraki now. He isn’t sure what, but there just is. He’s constantly checking his phone, looking at the screen for far too long, and when someone gets close, he shuts his phone off.
Shuichi glances to where Shigaraki leans against the wall, his legs over the edge of the bed, and hands holding onto the controller, pinkies extended outward. “I’ve been meaning to ask you something,” Shuichi states, his hands gripping on the controller, his claw pressing carefully on the joystick. Tomura hums in response, his eyes glued to the screen before him, his character successfully stealing a car. Shuichi nervously clears his throat, a chill running through his body as he follows Shigaraki’s avatar through the city. “You’ve been out a lot these past nights.” In the corner of his eye, he sees the slightest still of him, his thumb hovering over a button before he presses on it. “We’re all-” he struggles to find a proper word for the feelings of unrest that have been growing inside the team- “wondering about where you’ve been.”
“Does it matter?” Tomura replies, his eyes now narrowed and the top of his lip curling upward. Shuichi’s gaze is fixated on him, and Tomura lets out a sigh. “I’ve just been meeting with someone. It’s nothing to worry about.”
It isn’t enough. He’s sure that he can press just a little more. Just enough for him to slip about something other than meeting someone for a meeting. His canine nips at the soft pink flesh inside of his mouth. “You aren’t usually so distant about these types of things,” Shuichi comments, his attention to the game half-hearted.
“What type of things?” There’s an edge to Shigaraki’s words and if Shuichi weren’t so curious, maybe he would have backed off.
“You know-” he shrugs his shoulders and his character moves away from the other’s avatar- “going out and meeting with potential recruits. You’d at least send one of us to do it. Like with Twice. Twice is good with people. He always makes sure he isn't being followed. Shouldn’t it be- I don’t know, Mister, or Dabi-” his avatar rummages through his inventory before pulling out a knife- “even me?”
He can be good for something other than pure missions where it involves needing someone to drive. When he spares a glance at his leader, he sees him deep in thought, his fingers resting over the buttons, and his character still. “It isn’t like that,” Shigaraki states with an unusual distaste in his words. “This is a special case. They’re a special case,” he corrects, “I don’t want them to be freaked out by outsiders.” For a moment, he and Shigaraki lock eyes in the reflection of the television. “They were freaked enough when it was just me.”
“No offense, but you aren’t exactly the most comforting person in the League. That would go to Magne or even Mister.” Shuichi tries to tease, hoping that the lighter mood would offer just another snippet of information.
“It took them a long time to trust me. Or at least to feel safe around me. I’m not risking it by introducing new characters to the mix.” Whatever or whoever it is that Shigaraki is hiding, he does a good job at it.
“Is it even safe?” Shuichi presses, his character just running around a building, not doing anything in particular. He doesn’t know what answer to expect. It must be safe if Shigaraki continues to visit him, but what if it isn’t. What if he’s being led to a false sense of security?
“Is what safe?” Shigaraki asks with an annoyed tone. It’s apparent that he doesn't want to have this talk, but Shuichi does. He needs to know what's going on. He’s here for Stain and as long the League will uphold that bit of ideology, then he’ll stay. It’s not as if he has anywhere else to go.
“Meeting them,” Shuichi says as if it is the most obvious thing in the world. He’s met with silence. “If you can’t trust them to meet us, then what makes you think they won’t sell you out?” It might be cruel, he isn’t entirely sure, but it’s the truth. If they were scared to meet Shigaraki, it’s only fear that is keeping them compliant and eventually that will run out.
“They won’t,” he responds with a serious tone. “I know them. I know who they are and where they are. They won’t do something like that.” His character stops moving and he can hear the controller creak under the hands of Shigaraki. “You don’t know them. I do. They won’t snitch.
Shuichi turns to him, his controller on his lap as he leans close to Shigaraki. He has to understand where he’s coming from. If the roles were reversed, he’d be acting the same. He’d be just as accusatory, if not more. “But-”
“I have to go.” Shigaraki places the controller down on the bed and moves away, the floorboards quietly creaking under him as he stands. “Log off for me, will ya? I need to go.”
The door closes and once again, Shuichi is left alone. Behind him, the screen shifts in color, and when he turns, Shigaraki’s character has been killed. Carefully, a scaled hand picks up the discarded controller only to place it down gently beside him. The menu pops up and the game is saved, the screen returning to normal after a second, the character now revived, and suddenly standing next to Shuichi’s character.
He isn’t sure what’s going on, but at least he knows that whoever it is that Shigaraki is visiting, is someone that he cares for. The screen goes black and Shuichi is left to stare at his reflection. The room is quiet and only lit by a flickering bulb that remains lit. There’s a knock on his door, and when he turns to face it, there are shadows between the space of the door and the floor. He scratches at his snout, his claws picking at dried skin and ripping it away. “Come in,” he says, leaning against the wall and watching as the remainder of the League walks into his room, letting the door close with a soft click of the lock coming into place.
Magne is the first to speak. “So? Did you find out anything useful? Are we getting a new recruit?”
“Or is he going to some concert?” Twice says, interrupting Magne with a hand on her shoulder. “Who’s right? Who wins the bet?”
With a simple roll of the eyes, Magne continues onwards. “Ignore the bet, what’s he doing?” She runs a hand through his hair and plays with the ends as they all stare at Shuichi with a waiting explanation.
He shrugs. It’s the honest answer that he can give. “I don’t know. I don’t think- Where he’s going to, it isn’t to meet with recruits. He seems almost-” he hesitates to find the correct word- “protective about them.”
“Who’s “them”?” Dabi asks, his gaze focused on the television that still buzzes with electricity.
Once again, he shrugs. “I don’t know. I tried as best as I could, but when I pushed, he shut down. And then he just said he had to go and left.” Shuichi glances at the television, frowning when it still remains just him in the reflection. “All I know is that they’re easily skittish, he doesn’t want us to meet them, and he’s defensive when it comes to him.”
The bed dips as Toga sits on it, her legs crossed and a pillow pulled to her lap. “Well, lucky for us, I managed to actually follow where he’s been going,” she says with a smug attitude, her grin wide and kittenish. All eyes are on her and she sits straight, her hands playing with the edge of the pillow case, wrapping a thread around her finger. “I had to take somebody’s blood but whatever. I doubt he suspected something because I saw him enter some apartment.”
“An apartment?” Mr. Compress asks, his head leaning to a side. “With tenants? Or was it abandoned?”
“Tenants. I saw people go in and out. You know, like civilians. So I guess, whoever he is meeting, it means we all lost the bet.” The attention is still on her, confusion written on everyone’s face and she sighs. “I’m sure of it. The woman I was disguised as was even greeted by someone who lives there.”
“When was this?” Dabi asks, his eyes on Toga. “Time wise,” he clarifies.
“Um, maybe around, two in the morning?” Toga shrugs and moves further onto the bed. “I didn’t check the time, but it was late.” her legs are out straight and Magne sits beside her.
Magne starts talking, her fingers tapping against her knees. “It’s a bit later than when he usually goes out but-”
“And you’re sure it was him?” Mr. Compress asks, taking a step closer to her, his eyes narrowed in confusion as he takes in the new information when Toga nods. “Do you remember where it was?” Once again, Toga nods, pulling out a piece of folded paper and handing it towards the man. The paper crinkles as he opens it and the two standing behind him, inch closer to read what it says. “Huh,” he breathes out. “Should we pay a visit?”
“A visit?” Shuichi hisses. “We don’t even know who they are. All we know is that they live-”
“You said it yourself,” Dabi interjects, his eyes grabbing at the paper and tucking into his pocket. “Whoever it is, is skittish. They’re scared. Which means that if that hand-covered bitch could force them into submission, then we can too.” Shuichi glowers at the man and Dabi sighs. “We aren’t gonna kill them or anything, we just want to see who it is. Aren’t you curious about who it is that lives there?” Shuichi’s silence is enough of an answer. Dabi grins, wide and devious, as if this is all some sort of game to him. “Exactly. We’ll visit when we know that Shigaraki can’t. Maybe an hour or two before his usual time and we’ll just scope out this new person.”
“When are we going? Tonight? Tomorrow?” Twice asks, glancing around as he moves past Mr. Compress to sit on the bed with the other three. “The sooner the better, right?” His shoulders slump and hands clench and he stares at the other slowly. “Or should we plan this to make sure there is no room for mistake,” his voice has shifted to something a bit deeper, a tad more serious than his excitement just moments ago. “If Shigaraki catches us,” his tone returns to a more enthusiastic nature, “he’d definitely be pissed.” There’s a pause and everyone glances at each other, before finally returning to Twice. “That’s totally a yes.”
-
It won't be the first or last time that you complain to yourself on why you chose to have a floor that wasn’t the first. It isn’t a long climb, but it's excruciating when you carry bags of groceries that are digging into the joints of your fingers. You’re stubborn and too tired to make more than one trip, and even if you weren’t, you usually carry tote bags to place the items in, but you must’ve forgotten it in your apartment before you left. All you really want to do is just sit down, but you can’t. At least, not until you’re inside.
You struggle between the bags to reach your keys, the bags knocking against each other as your hands try to inch for your keys that hang around your neck. The key is inserted shakily, twisting the key while your hand also twists farther than usual as you pull the key out. Your brows pinched as you quickly enter your apartment, letting the bags fall onto the floor, as you close the door with your hip.
You let out a heavy sigh, flexing your hands as you try to ease the pain that has gathered. When you kick your shoes off, you kick them to the side, sparing a glance to the couch, as you lower yourself to pick up the bags. As you do so, you hesitate. There’s something wrong. Something feels wrong to you- enough to make you uncomfortable and all too aware of how you can feel someone watching you. It starts off easy enough- how your scalp itches, how the clothes on your body doesn’t feel right and pricks too much against your skin, and the forced silence that is in your apartment. You quickly rise and turn, your hand going to grab at the doorknob, only to have the pointed end of a knife directed towards you.
Yellow eyes stare at you, a thin smile decorating a young girl’s face and all you can do is raise your hands in front of you, your eyes catching against a sea of colors as six people stand in front of your couch. How you missed them, you have no idea, but you’re sure that they only wanted to reveal themselves to you know.
“You should lock the door,” the girl says sweetly, twisting the knife. A gleam catches along the metal and you nod, slowly reaching behind you to put the lock into place, your breath caught in your throat. Your hand is clasped over the doorknob, the tips of your fingers teasing against the lock. The young girl’s eyes flitter to where you tease at the lock, and she shakes her head. “You shouldn’t do that. Come on, come sit.”
Behind her the others watch you, a slight shift in their weight as they analyze what you’re about to do. You wouldn’t be able to run even if you wanted to- you’d have to unlock the door, and turn around, while leaving your back exposed to people who are clearly criminals. You nod slowly, and the girl steps back allowing you to walk further in your apartment, all eyes on you as you sit down on the ouch, your knees pinched together as your legs shake. Your groceries are sitting precariously by the door, and you worry that the milk is going to leave the bag wet and sticking to the jug.
Your face burns, legs shaking and teeth clasped down on the inside of your cheeks as six menacing people stand in front of you. You can’t handle the silence, the stares and the uncertainty of whatever is going to happen. In your back pocket, your phone sticks out, a vibration against your backside the curiosity for that is another fatality for you.
“Why are you here?” Your voice is quiet, your eyes on the tip of black boots that have scuff marks over them and splatter of mud against them.
“Do you mind if we sit?” You look back up, a man in a white mask with organic black lines stares down at you- at least that’s what you assume he’s doing.
The collar of your shirt feels too tight, restricting every breath, every word, every small swallow of saliva in an attempt to do something that isn’t clawing against your forearms. You nod. “Yeah- I uh, yeah,” you stutter. “I don’t mind.”
“Relax, we aren’t here to hurt you.” A heavy hand is held out to you and you stare at it with distrust, the owner of the hand removing their white rimmed, triangular sunglasses. “You can call me Magne.”
“She’s like our sister!” The younger girl says cheerfully, wrapping her arm around Magne’s, leaning her head against the woman’s bicep. Her small falls into something flat, the enthusiasm in her voice gone. “So you shouldn’t disrespect her in any way.”
You nod quickly, leaning over and taking Magne’s hand in yours. “Hi, it’s um, it’s nice to meet you, Magne,” you say quickly, giving her a nervous smile.
“I’m Twice!” A man in a black suit stretches his hand outwards to you, the suit clinging to his skin and showing off his muscles, and you fear that he’s done much worse than a simple break-in like this. You nod slowly, reaching towards the warm hand, your arm given a curt handshake. “That’s Toga-” he points to the young girl who smiles at you, her arms now removed from Magne’s. You’re about to give another greeting when another speaks up. “That’s Mr. Compress-” he points to a man in a yellow coat who nods, and tips his hat towards you. “Spinner-” a green-scaled man narrows his eyes at you and you look away, staring at the last one to be introduced. “And that’s Dabi!” The man in black hair and purple colored scars- or maybe burns- nods at you, his face devoid of emotion.
You smile but when it’s unreturned, you give a weak cough and look away from him and try to find comforting eyes that you can stare at, but none of them are comforting to you. You settle back at Dabi, giving him a small smile. Twice has yet to let go of your hand and you don’t want to risk anything by pulling away too soon. “I’m- my name is-”
“We know what your name is,” Dabi says with an attitude, the first sign of emotion that you’ve gotten from one of the people who have broken into your home. That thought leaves you feeling unsettled. It’s usually Tomura who does that and yet, he is nowhere to be found.
“Okay,” you say with a crack in your voice, nodding and looking back at your hand that is still extended outwards.
“Don’t be mean, Dabi,” Toga says with a pout, smacking the side of his arm as she huffs and crosses her arms. “Now they won’t trust us.”
There’s a tap against the back of your hand when you stare back at Twice, his shoulders are squared. “And you already know our Leader Shigaraki, right?” His voice has changed tone into something more serious and with the accusation, your nervous smile fades away, and when you stare back, his hand is now squeezing down on yours.
The whites of his mask make it difficult to look him in the eye. It makes it difficult to feel safe. Magne had told you that they wouldn’t hurt you but even if she is the resident big sister, it seems as if Twice doesn’t follow her loosely based rule. His hand is squeezing yours, and you wince, and your lungs that were deprived of air are suddenly filled once again when you take in a sharp inhale.
“They won’t talk if you break their hand, twice.” Your head is bent and you are unable to see who it is that is talking to him. The steps are heavy against the floors and you’re trying to pull your hand away, when a rough one covers yours. You look up to meet the eyes of Spinner, yours are filled with tears and his with something that you can’t quite make out. Your hand is let go, and you scramble to sit further against the couch, your legs bent to your chest as they all watch you. Spinner’s attention is redirected at Twice. “I told you the information I had on them, including how weirdly protective Shigaraki is with them.
You cradle your hand and then Dabi speaks. “You mind calling him? We all kind of want to see the look on his face when he comes in and sees that we found out about his little secret.” It’s then that emotion finally spills out, his lips stretching into a smug grin as he slouches over your couch, his leg bent over the other as he stares at you, nodding for you to pull out your phone.
You’re glad that you never installed a password for your phone, you’re sure that with your current anxiety skyrocketing, you’d be unable to put in the correct pin. Dabi steps towards you and watches over your shoulder as you struggle to go to your contact list, and he’s right there at the very top under the “A”. You tap the phone button and place him on speaker, the ringing going off immediately.
“Alleyway?” Dabi asks, leaning close to you, and you stiffen, the scent of alcohol and smoke a bit too strong for you. “Who the fuck is- Why is he put under “alleyway”?” There’s a hint of amusement laced into his words, but you aren’t in the right headspace to make any quippy comment.
“It’s um-” you clear your throat and give him a forced smile- “It’s an inside joke.” You sniffle and the tip of your nose with the side of your hand as you hear the call ring. You desperately hope that he’ll pick up. He promised that he would. Or at least, he insinuated that when you needed him, he’ll come for you. Maybe you held too much trust in him. You frown. You held too much trust in a mass murderer. You suck in your bottom lip and press the top of your teeth down against the soft flesh. Surely, there must be something wrong with you for you to even hold any amount of trust in a man like that, but to be fair, he did… do something to the man who assaulted you, and that was sweet of him. Sort of.
You hear the phone click and you look down, the timer starting as his voice is echoed into the room, everyone leaning closer to you to hear what he has to say. “What’s wrong?” A smile slowly curves your lips, and you look away, your hand covering your ever growing smile. He’s worried for you. Granted you don’t call him, so he must be worried or at least surprised by this. “Are you okay?”
You look at Dabi who gives you a curt nod and you take a shaky inhale. “I- So, um, you’re friends are here.” There’s a pause. “At my place,” you add, wanting to clarify.
“You were supposed to tell him to come over,” Twice whines, slumping in his seat with arms crossed. His tone shifts and you hold the phone tight in your hands. “Didn’t Dabi tell you he wanted to see his reaction?”
“I thought the nod was to tell him,” you retort in a high-pitched voice, your face aflame. “I didn’t know I was supposed to just tell him to come over. He would have come over on his own. There wasn’t any reason to call him!” By the end the volume of your voice has risen, your lungs devoid of air as you try to push your statements out.
“They’re there now?” He asks and you let out a sigh, dipping your head forward and nodding, mumbling a soft yes, when you realize that he can’t see you nodding.
“No dipshit, we’re here tomorrow,” Dabi says, humor heavy in his voice as his clasps around your shoulder and his other hand covers yours, bringing your phone close to his lips. “What the fuck do you think?”
“Can we not curse? We’re probably giving Shigaraki’s poor partner a heart attack as we speak,” Mr. Compress comments.
“We just broke into their apartment,” Toga says with a disbelief, and when you look up, he’s rolling her eyes at Mr. Compress’s stare- or at least what you assume, given his mask is still on but pointed in her direction. “I’m pretty sure if that didn’t kill ‘em, then cursing won’t do it either.”
“This was a horrible idea,” Spinner comments, running a clawed hand through his hair.
“I’m going over right now,” Tomura comments. “Just wait for me there, okay? I’ll see you as soon as I can.” Immediately after, he hangs up, and without saying goodbye, your phone blinks the time of the call to you, and you’re left alone in a room full of notorious villains who aren’t fond of you.
It’s silent for a moment, the little debate now put to rest and your phone is still in your hand, Dabi having let go of you after Tomura hanged up. You can still feel the burning sensation that he left, the roughness of his hand that is different compared to Tomura’s. It’s uncomfortable and you’re left shaking your leg, your phone fading to black.
“Hey,” when you look up, Toga is snapping her fingers to get your attention and you nod. “Do you have anything to drink here? I’m kind of thirsty.”
You’re bewildered for a second staring at her with wide eyes as if she hadn’t just had a knife pointed towards you. You nod. “Yeah, I think I have some water and ginger ale. I think I also have lemonade,” you say, pointing to where the kitchen is. “Do you want me to go get it for you?”
“Yes, please,” she chirps, smiling sweetly at you and pulling the sleeves of her sweater further down. “Just bring me whatever, I’m not that picky.”
“Yeah, okay.” You rise to stand and when you take a step towards the kitchen. You point to the empty space between each member, your smile still tense but more polite than before. “Uh, do you guys want anything to drink? I might have some mango and peach drinks too.”
“Oh wait! I change my answer! Can I have a mango drink?” Toga asks, leaning towards you, her smile eager.
“I’ll have a mango too,” Spinner adds, raising his hand and lowering it when you nod.
“Ginger ale for me!” Twice comments.
“A peach for me,” Magne adds.
“I’ll take water,” Dabi says, spreading his arms against the back of the couch.
“I’ll go along with you to help,” Mr. Compress adds, standing up and walking beside you, hooking his arm with yours. “I’ll choose when we get there. Just lead the way, dear.”
You walk before pausing and rushing to the door. “Wait, wait!” You call, grabbing your grocery bags. “Let me go put these away before anything spoils,” you say, dashing to the kitchen with Mr. Compress behind you.
In the kitchen, you begin to assort things where they belong, frowning when some bags are wet and uncomfortable, and you toss them to the sink. The man in the mask has taken it upon himself to aid you in placing things away, organizing your fridge to make sure that it all fits neatly. Once done, Mr. Compress leans down to look through your fridge, his arms reaching inside and pulling out a drink one by one, letting them rest on the floor where you immediately grab them.
“I think I might have a bottle of Qoo somewhere in there. I’m not entirely sure,” you drift, your hands slowly growing cold the longer you hold onto the drinks. “You’re to take it. I think it’s apple flavored.”
He rises with his drink in hand. The Qoo and you nod at his choice. “Has it been in here long?” He asks, spinning the bottle around to check for an expiration date. You shrug in response and he grabs his mask, pulling it away from his face to reveal his face still hidden but now with a balaclava. The white mask flashes and in its place is a small marble that is put inside his pocket. “I suppose it can’t be bad to drink something like this then.” You nod, turning around, before he stops. “Ah, before we go back, is it okay to ask you a question? Once again, you nod, placing the drinks down on the counter. “What is your relationship with Shigaraki?”
Even you still don’t know the answer. You’ve already admitted that it’s easier to be with him than to deny him. It’s safer that way, but you still can’t help but smile when he actively cares for you. “We’re together,” you conclude, knowing that even if it were vague, it still answered his question. “You know, as a couple.”
“Willing?” He adds, twisting the cap off of his drink, bringing it close to his lips. You narrow your eyes at him. “Forgive me, but while Shigaraki isn’t ugly, he’s still a villain. He has his faults as we all do, but as a close comrade, I have to ask, why is it that you chose to date him?” You swallow and turn away from him, your hands chilled and slightly wet as you cross your arms. “This remains between us, but I’m not against the others getting involved. It may not seem like it, but we’ve all stuck together for a reason.”
You let out a humorless chuckle. “Is that a threat?” You stare at him, your stomach twisting into knots.
“It’s just a word of advice,” he replies, the drink in his hand as he slowly clasps it back. The mascot stares at you with a wide grin and you regret allowing him to take the last of your Qoo- even if it was forgotten in the back of your fridge.
“He liked me first.” You bite the inside of your cheek, trying to push yourself to stay focused and not tear up in front of a man you don’t know. “He’s persuasive in all sorts of ways. I just found it easier to be with him rather than be scared of him.” You shrug, gathering the drinks back into your arms. “He’s nice to me. He’s done me a huge favor and even if I don’t agree with his- er- line of work, I’m not going to report him or anything. He hasn’t exactly given me an out with this relationship, but he hasn’t been forceful with me or anything. Maybe a bit scary, but he’s been okay.” With a free hand, you scratch at your neck and tilt your head, frowning. “It’s just a weird mix of easy and difficult with him.”
“So you were forced into the relationship,” he concludes and you shrug.
“I uh- I found him injured one night and I fixed him up the best I could.” You finally choose to look at the man before you, your stomach churning so quickly, you’re afraid that you really are tasting acid on your tongue. “The next night he came back and he was- I guess, for lack of a better word, obsessed with me?” It sounds so conceited, but it’s the truth. You break away from his gaze and take a step back, already wanting to return to the living room, the drinks leaving you freezing. “He was sweet, but you know, forceful with the idea that we were together. I don’t mind it- now at least- I was scared in the beginning, but it’s nice just knowing he will be there for me.”
Mr. Compress nods his head slowly, reaching over to grab a few drinks in his hands. “I suppose that’s a good enough answer.” He walks ahead of you, standing by the door frame when he looks back. “Come on, let’s go back.”
Back in the living room, the drinks are handed to each respective person, your hands cold as you sit above them, cushioned between your thighs and the couch. You keep your gaze on Mr. Compress who smiles gently at you before thanking you for the drink. You turn away when you hear rapid knocking at your door, the handle twisting, trying to break against the lock.
You know that it’s him. It has to be him. And despite any ill feelings that you had towards him before, you want him to be here. You rise up, dashing to the door and unlocking it, greeted by Tomura who looks at you briefly, before staring behind you where his friends sit. He pushes past you, closing the door behind him and removing his hood, his hair ruffles and strands misplaced as he pushes you behind him.
“What the fuck are you all doing here?” Tomura asks, holding your hand in his. You look down, the glove covering his hand and his fingertips seem softer somehow. You look back up, your eyes meeting with Mr. Compress and you look back down, taking a step closer to him, your hand rising to clutch the back of his sweatshirt in your grip.
“We’re drinking, what does it look like?” Dabi resorts, taking a sip of his water as if to prove his point.
Tomura turns to you and you hold his hand in both of yours, looking away from him. “Did they hurt you?” You snort and shake your head. “Don’t lie to me.” His hand pulls away from your grasp, leaving your hands intertwined with each other. He holds your face, lifting it upwards to face him. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
A part of you wonders what he’d do if you say no. They didn’t try to hurt you- except for the hand crushing- but you rather not get on any of their bad sides. You smile delicately at him, nodding your head and stepping closer to him, letting your forehead press against his chest, before you pull away to look at him. “Yeah, I’m good. You know me, I get spooked easily.” You pull away from him and grab his hand, pulling him toward the couch. “Come on, let’s sit. Do you want something to drink? I have ginger ale,” you say, with a lilt at the end and he nods. His hand curves against the back of your head and he pulls you close, his head leaning down and you think he’s going to kiss you, but he lets go before he can and walks to the kitchen.
“He took that a lot better than I thought,” Magne comments, holding her drink in her hand. “You think he’s going to explode later?”
“Obviously,” Dabi answers, placing his bottle on the floor. “Yo! Shigaraki! Bring me another water!” Dabi shouts, his hand cupping the side of his mouth.
Your eyes widen and you wave your hands, shushing him. “You have to be quiet!” You whisper yell, as if you all hadn't talked in your regular voices before. “I have neighbors! What if they hear you?”
He gives you a wide grin and shakes his head. “It’s a name. I’m sure there are more people with his last name-” he jerks his head at Tomura who walks back to the living room, tossing the water beside Dabi. “Anyways, just tell them you’re in some play or whatever-” he twists the cap off and before taking a sip, he looks at you with a lazy smile- “people are a lot more willing to believe something like that.”
Tomura sits beside you, his legs spread, his knee knocking against yours, and you lean close to him, frowning at Dabi. “It’s still risky,” you say with a pout, gripping the end of your shirt.
“Hey!” Toga says, standing up, her drink empty as she tosses it at Dabi. She ignores his yelp and pointed glare. “If you’re dating Tomura-” she points her fingers between the two of you- “then that means that we’re friends!” She looks at you with a wide grin and you nod. It would feel rather rude if you denied the poor girl of friendship- villain or not, confrontation and denying is something that is not your strongest trait. “Really? Does that mean I get to use your bath?”
Your eyes widen, in both worry of that being her first request and fear of that being her first request. “Yeah, of course. Do you want me to-”
“No, it’s okay,” she smiles and walks away from the living room. “It’s in an apartment, I think I can find it easily enough. Anyways, I’ll probably snoop around, so see you in a bit!” She says, before moving away to go and open doors.
It’s silent for a beat before Spinner pops up. “Do you have wi-fi?” You nod. “Mind if I have the password?”
“Yeah, sure, no problem.” You grab your phone and scroll through your notes app, finding the name of the router and password, and you pass it to him, watching as he pulls out his phone to copy the numbers. Magne leans beside him, pulling out her phone and connecting to the wi-fi, her finger tapping against the screen to make sure it doesn’t dim.
“I’m going to turn on the television!” Twice comments, standing up to grab the remote. When he sits back down, he moves to sit beside Dabi.
“Don’t put anything dumb,” Dabi comments, making himself comfortabel on the couch, his hands going to grab at a throw pillow and brining it to his lap. “And nothing too loud, I’m starting to get a headache.”
“I have some pain medication.” You turn your attention to Dabi. “Do you want me to go get you some?” He spares you a glance, and when he returns his attention to the television that is flipping from channel to channel, he nods.
“I’ll go get it, dear. Where is it?” Mr. Compress says, standing up from the couch.
“Oh okay,” you chirp, leaning back towards Tomura. “It’s in the kitchen. The first drawer by the fridge.”
You turn to Tomura, grabbing his hand in yours. “I didn’t expect to meet them so soon,” you say in a whisper, turning yourself until you’re facing him. “I have to admit, I was really scared.”
He knocks his head lightly against yours and squeezes your hand. “I wish they hadn’t found out where you live, but I guess that can’t be helped now.” He glances at you and returns his attention to the bottle in hand. “Do you know how they found you?” You shake your head and he sighs. “I’ll be here next time.”
While you hadn’t realized just how alarming it is they found you, you can’t help but latch onto the last statement of his. Your head tilts and you look at him with knitted brows. “Next time?”
“Next time they’re here,” he clarifies. “I’ll make sure I come before them.” You nod slowly and he takes another sip of his drink. With your free hand you grab the drink, your hand curving around his and he watches as you pull the drink toward you, taking a sip from it. The apple in his throat bobs and he stares at the television that plays the news before changing to some sci-fi movie. “Whenever you want us to leave, you just say the word, okay?”
You watch the alien hatch from its egg, the membrane sticking to its skin as it opens its mouth. The whole scenario feels surreal. The group of people who threatened you now sit at your home, drinking your drinks, using your bath, taking your pills, and watching your television. And here you are, holding hands with the ringleader, acting as if you two are in a happy relationship that was mutual and not one that was forced upon you. You turn to him and with worry written over your face, he frowns. “Can we talk about something sometime soon?” Your heart falls when you see his face consumed with fear, his eyes scanning over your face, looking for a hint of what you want to talk about. You smile and pull your hand away from him, letting it rest over his thigh. “It’s nothing bad, I promise. Just a-” you struggle to find the proper words that doesn't make this relationship sound like some bad experiment- “an overlook of the relationship. Nothing bad, I promise.” With a smile at the end of your words, he remains silent, nodding his head and turning to watch the television.

That’s What Makes Us Heroes and Villains
Tumblr media
All the way back in the aftermath of the Stain Arc, Dabi and Himiko were the first new recruits introduced for the League of Villains. The three of them together, Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko are a trio. Effectively the three main characters of the villain side of the story. They are all three of them, traumatized children who were thrown out by society, and are now fighting back against it. They’ve been pushed out further and further until all three of them came to the same conclusion: Heroes are in the way.
Dabi: “There are no true Heroes.”
Shigaraki: “You heroes hurt your own families just to help complete strangers.”
Toga: “You heroes mess everything up.”
All three of them are children screaming the same thing at the heroes, trying to get somebody to listen only to be ignored. Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko were all driven to become villains because of hero society. They became villains because heroes existed in the first place.
A meta on the villain trio under the cut.
1. Monsters
Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko are all introduced to us as monstrous villains who slowly become human over time. Their development is effectively then in reverse of the main heroes. The heroes we sympathize with right away because they’re introduced to us as innocent kids. We see the villains as violent monsters first before the curtain is pulled back and it’s revealed they started out as children all along.
Tumblr media
When the three are introduced they have no affection for one another. Shigaraki even calls them “the two types I hate most.” There’s no trust, as the first thing the three do is try to kill each other.
We’re introduced to them at their lowest point. All three of them are in a bad place effectively. Himiko has been on the run for months, Dabi has been who knows where, and Shigaraki has had two successive failures in his attacks on both Stain and USJ.
Their cooperation in the Camp Raid arc is begrudging at best. This goes for the whole league of villains, (Spinner and Magne end up making things harder for each other, Several members get captured) they seem to be working against each other as much as they are working together.
Tumblr media
Shigaraki, Dabi and Himiko were all effectively traumatized by the same thing, being cast out from hero society. However, in this arc they all have vastly different desires that make working together difficult. Dabi wants to fulfill Stain’s Will, Shigaraki wants to take down All Might and Hero Society at large to show how fragile it is, Himiko wants to take down Hero Society for the sake of her easier life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are not at this point motivated to work together at all and it shows in their cooperation.Dabi doesn’t really make any attempt to lead. Shigaraki just watches from the sidelines and sends out other people on a mission where he doesn’t really care much if they succeed or fail.  Himiko doesn’t try that hard to complete her mission objective because at this point all she cares about is her own survival.
However after the defeat of All for One, the league of villains ends up all experiencing the same traumatizing loss together. They all become disenfranchised, living off of no money, and constantly having to be on the run. They lose all of their resources. However, as a reuslt their bonds with one another are strengthened and they really are working together for the first time.
Tumblr media
Himiko isn’t just looking out for herself anymore. Not only does she not run away when things get hard, but she encourages Twice to do the same because she empathizes with his feelings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shigaraki goes from ordering people around in the shadows to not only meeting with his comrades face to face. He also has become the type of fighter who jumps straight into enemy fire on the front line for the sake of his comrades, using his own body as a distraction so he could work together with Compress and Dabi.
Tumblr media
And remember, Dabi’s flames physically destroy his body every time he uses them. Yet, he respects Shigaraki’s leadership enough that he goes all out for the sake of the league when he’s asked to. If Dabi didn’t care about the league at all, he probably wouldn’t be constantly burning himself alive for their sakes.
All three humanize one another through their relationships with each other, Shigaraki values his comrades lives more than his own, Dabi cooperates with other people for the sake of his goal, Himiko’s empathic side began to show all because the three of them were for the first time surrounded by people who were just like them.
Tumblr media
When shown empathy and understanding, Dabi, Shigaraki and Himiko all improve as people. They are not lost causes the plot has shown us the opposite, they’re capable of growing and changing. However, they are just as capable of GETTING WORSE.
2. Bad Children
Shigaraki, Himiko and Dabi all share the same origin. They were pushed to become villains because of what happened to them as children. They are the only three members of the league who have been shown as children, deliberately so, because the fact that this happened to them as children is what is so important to their narratives.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Himiko was born with a weird quirk, and that was it. She didn’t even show problematic behavior that far off of most children (most children don’t have the empathy to know that say, small animals will suffer pain if you hurt them) before her parents started to punish her. Tenko just wanted to be a hero and had a father with a grudge against heros when his punishment started. When he was in the streets begging for help the only thing he was guilty of was having a quirk  that activated on accident. Touya was bred by his father for the purpose of his quirk, and because of that had to grow up in a household where his mother was constantly crying and his father either ignored him as a failed experiment, or paid attention to him which would have made his life even worse.
Tumblr media
It’s not just a sad backstory for all three of them, it’s a case of systemic failure. Systems that should have protected them did not. The reason we’re shown this happening to them when they were children before they did anything wrong was that the narrative most heroes have is villains choose to be evil and there’s no helping it.
However, this happened to Dabi, Shigaraki and Himiko through no choice of their own. They were all helpless children when they survived these circumstances. The argument that “They could have tried to endure and become heroes” doesn’t work either, because all three of them did try to endure.
They all at one time or another made an attempt to be good children. They tried to reach their parent’s expectations for them. They tried to swallow up the abuse that was hurled on them and live with other people.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They were all children who were being abused, and told to just go on with their lives, told not to cry, told to suck it up. Instead of trying to fix or even address the circumstances of their abuse all of their pain was effectively ignored. Shigaraki, Himiko, being children DID TRY to live exactly as the adults told them to. They tried to be “Good Children” under the standards of adults, and they couldn’t be.
That’s the reality of living in an abusive household like the one Tenko grew up in. No matter what he had done, he would have been punished. He was the problem child, the scapegoat for his father’s abuse. Rather than tell the father to stop abusing the child, the child is held responsible for the behavior and told that they were at fault for provoking punishment.
Before you use Shoto as an example of still wanting to be a hero after enduring abuse, here’s the difference. Shoto didn’t die. Touya did.
All three of them were cast out before they did anything wrong. Are they still responsible for the choices they made as adults? Yes. However, I think it’s important to acknowledge that all three of these characters did attempt to try making the right choices and they still got cast out anyway. It’s not because they were good or bad children. It’s because society was designed to reject people like them.
Tumblr media
RHA TRANSLATION: That’s how the muck gets cast out. That’s how they break and retaliate. That’s how it loops back, again, and again, and again.
The translations are radically different this week I’m not sure which one is right, but they are vaguely talking about the same cycle. Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko were rejected before they did anything wrong. They were forced to endure all of this as children. They gained power to survive and began to fight back. They retaliated against the violence done to them as children as adults. Then, they are punished again.
It is a cycle where both people are acting badly. Shigaraki, Himiko, and Dabi drag innocent people into the conflict, because all they can think of to wake people up to the reality of their suffering is to make them endure the same. To show the world the violence they’ve endured on a mass scale, until it becomes impossible for those who are sheltered and protected by society, those who are saved to ignore the problems of those who aren’t saved. Shigaraki, Dabi and Himiko get innocent people involved it’s true.
HOWEVER. Were they not innocents at any point? Were they not just children who had not done anything wrong?
And we return to the Tenko household. Shigaraki, Himiko, Dabi are all responsible for their violent reactions to the problem, that was the choice they made. However, they weren’t the ones who created the situation in the first place.
Villains are held as responsible for all of society’s ills. We are told by heroes that villains choose to become evil, and that the only way to stop them is to violently suppress their activities. However all of these villains for the most part, are outcasts who hold no real power in society, and all have yes made choices to retaliate violently but were also pushed into those choices.
The society around them is designed to exclude people like Shigaraki, Himiko and Dabi. THE PROBLEM ELEMENT, is ignored rather than addressed.
Tumblr media
What Shigaraki is saying here is that heroes don’t protect the people most in need of their protection, the biggest victims. They are designed to protect a status quo.
Tumblr media
Heroes protect the institutions that are already in place, no matter how cracked or flawed those institutions are. they keep them in place. They are fighting to preserve a power structure that keeps heroes in power. The ones who have the power in society are the heroes. The ones who create society are the heroes. The ones who create the situation are the heroes. The villains in MHA are reacting to the problem, but they didn’t create the problem.
3. Twice
Dabi, Shigaraki and Himiko all have an incredibly important relationship to Twice. Dabi shows up to try to save Twice, even though he states he doesn’t care about the league. Himiko opens up to Twice and empathizes with him. Shigaraki goes to save Giran because Twice asked him to, and opened up to his team for the first time because of Twice’s begging and pleas.
Tumblr media
The scene we see play out with Twice is what happened to Shigaraki, Himiko and Dabi as well. Twice is given an impossible choice. He can conform and sacrifice all of his friends to go with Hawks, or he can die right here. Once again, yes it is a choice. I must emphasize everything is a choice. The choice to retaliate is still a choice even if it’s influenced by the environment. However, this is a choice effectively made with a gun to Twice’s head.
What’s interesting is, when given the choice between betraying the people closest to him or getting shot in the head. Twice chooses to take the bullet.
Tumblr media
As I said everything is a choice. Even an influenced choice is a choice. If someone is holding a gun to your head, you can just choose to die. You might be stuck in a situation where there are only bad choices, but it’s still a choice you make.
I emphasize choices over and over again, because somebody chose to make the world this way.
They exist in a system where villains are held accountable for all of their violence, their choices, and heroes are not. Heroes can effectively get away with murder as we’ve been shown with Hawks and Tokoyami.
I’d also like to emphasize that the villains make these choices while directly facing all of the flaws of society. The heroes for the most part are completely ignorant to the suffering of villains. We are shown this ignorance again and again. The villains attempt to explain themselves, their motivations and reasonings, and every time they are literally ignored.
Heroes and Villains both make choices, but Heroes are completely blind to their own faults. When they are told about the cracks of society by people who have lived through that, they effectively ignore the role they had to play in it. Twice tries to explain he can’t betray his friends to Hawks, that they’re all capable of being good people and he gets ignored. Shigaraki explains to Endeavor that his father told him heroes hurt their own families, he gets ignored. Endeavor’s case is especially EGREGIOUS. Endeavor who should be more aware of his own flaws than anybody else, still pretends to be the perfect faultless hero.
Tumblr media
Heroes and Villains are both responsible for creating this flawed world, but the villains are held responsible, and the heroes are not. Heroes are given special privilege in society, Villains are mostly made up by the underprivileged and cast out. Society, is intentionally designed to divide up people like this and categorize one over the other.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I think it’s especially important that every time Shigaraki tries to get someone to listen to him he gets told the same thing. Endeavor believes he is a good person fighting to protect others. He claims that he is the hero, fighting against someone who only hollowly wishes to destroy. Shigaraki tries to explain himself, he even makes a reference to familial abuse which Endeavor SHOULD RECOGNIZE and Endeavor’s response is to tell him to shut up and die.
Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko are wrong for violently retaliating, but every time they make any attempt to explain themselves they’re rejected just as violently. They are told, like they were when they were just children, to just shut up and take it. Shigaraki is told by Nana, Endeavor, Gran Torino everyone around him to die rather than fight back, is it no wonder he believes the whole system rejects him?
Tumblr media
It is an unfair system to begin with, deliberately designed to uplift a few people into privilege and cast others out.
Heroes act like the few people who don’t get saved are just bad luck, but it’s not. Good social programs would have saved Twice. Social services would have saved Himiko. All Might realizing Endeavor was an abusive jerk would have saved Touya. If Gran Torino had checked up on Nana’s child, Shigaraki would not have happened.
Tumblr media
All of these kids “just got unlucky” except the society they live in was designed to outcast certain people like them from the start. It’s meant to let people fall through the cracks. In each case it wasn’t bad luck, but rather intentional neglect of all parties involved.
Tumblr media
Twice is told what happened to him was bad luck, but Twice didn’t slip and fall  on a knife. He was put into the situation intentionally by Hawks. Hawks singled him out, targeted him, pushed him to the breaking point, and then killed him. The one who had power and the upper hand in that situation was Hawks from the start, but Twice is blamed for his own death for merely fighting back.
The connection between Shigaraki, Dabi, and Himiko is that they’re pushed to become more and more radical over time. Himiko had killed a few people yeah, but she wasn’t a terrorist on a mass scale.
Tumblr media
Dabi had no criminal record when he started. He only started killing people to make the news  when his father became the number one hero. The more they are rejected, the more radical they become.
All three of them have become radicalized by the death of Twice, and all three say effectively the same thing.
Dabi: “There are no true Heroes.”
Shigaraki: “You heroes hurt your own families just to help complete strangers.”
Toga: “You heroes mess everything up.”
Why do they blame heroes? It’s because heroes are the guardians of the society that rejects them. Heroes do not protect people, they protect systems and structures first and foremost. The heroes aren’t coming to save them and they never were.

More Headcanon Stuff
Since everyone likes my post about Permits and shit: Here’s more BNHA World Building I use for fics!
Hero School: The Actual Hardest School to Get Into
UA is not, as mentioned previously, that hard to get into. It’s based on a statistic taken out of context, and also because almost the entire country applies but doesn’t get into the hero course.
The hardest school to get into is actually called Shīrudo Academy and is an intelligence-based heroics school.
The exam is twelve hours long and you must get a ninety percent to be allowed in.
The graduates of this school go on to enter the intelligence-based heroics field. They train for years, learning undercover tactics, code work, information gathering and interrogation techniques.
Shīrudo Academy is one of five hero-based programs that do not just include high school but also university. Meaning, you enter the Academy and then leave Shīrudo Institute before you are considered finished.
Second Chance High School-University
Okay not translated because I can’t find like a good translation for this.
Anyway, SC is a high school/university geared towards potential heroes who have black marks on their records, or have criminal records.
SC does NOT accept those who have: Sold drugs, committed Sexual Assault or committed First Degree Murder.
SC is meant to help those who have potential as heroes but have things holding them back. Like Shirudo they are a combination high school and university program. They operate on a ‘Ten Strike’ program in which you have ten attempts to change your ways before they expel you.
They take extreme cases, or on occasion get transfers due to the Red Flag Protocol.
Red Flag Protocol
I fully believe while most hero schools are allowed to run how they want- UA a prime example- there are some general policies or rules.
One of them I call the ‘Entitled Brat’ rule or as it’s called officially ‘Red Flag Protocol’.
Red Flag Protocol is when a student…
-displays signs of extreme violent behaviour
-acts shocked upon being reprimanded
-refuses to listen to teachers or ignores reprimands, acting like it’s a jok when walking into detention
-being shocked to be actually punished and attempting to argue
-displays Quirkist behaviour to Quirkless individuals or those with ‘weaker Quirks’.
-attempts to establish a hierarchy with them at the top and enable them to bully others.
-displays illegal behaviour
-displays sexual harassment to others
The Red Flag Protocol is used in hero courses as there are multiple cases a year when problematic, disturbing or illegal behaviour is noticed in students who had entered the school.
This is due to the status that is given to middle schools that comes from having someone from their school become a hero. As well, there is a monetary fund given to middle schools when they have a student make it a year in a hero course program for high school.
With an emphasis on strong Quirks and brash personalities, it’s no schock that these have become a protocol to watch out for these behaviours.
The student operates on a five-strike program when placed into the protocol. Five strikes, they’re either removed from the hero course or transferred to SC.
Anti-Cheating Board
The ACB is a board sent out when allegations of cheating are made on any test, or when a complaint is lodged that someone is accused of cheating without proof. It is not just for Hero Schools but also for any schools.
The ACB is made up mostly of people who are able to either detect lies or force people to tell the truth. All possess Job Specific Permits for their Quirks.
The ACB is always working because there are a lot of cheating allegations. In recent history, the Aldera school came under fire for accusing a student of cheating fifteen times and had the ACB called in. Now, they have a member of ACB come in to oversee all testing done to prove no cheating is occuring. The school was fined for their Quirkist views due to the student in question being Quirkless.
Homeschooling Program
According to my research, Japan doesn’t allow homeschooling, however, with Quirks I propose that there are some Quirks that could pose a risk to other students. Such as: Quirks that require equipment that if damaged could cause death, injury or other. Or sentient Quirks that are near impossible to control.
Children with dangerous Quirks as well are allowed to be homeschooled. However once control to a reasonable level has been reached, the child is required to enter regular school.
A small scandal came about when Endeavour, Number Two Hero, attempted to have his youngest classified as someone with a dangerous Quirk that required more training. It was proven to be false and Endeavour fined for false filing.
Dangerous Quirk Regulation Bureau
The DC is responsible for tracking those whose Quirks are regarded as a Class 9 on the Quirk Scale. Any Quirk that can cause death or injury or cannot be turned off that influences others is under their view and they monitor them. They provide funds if needed to help control their Quirk.
Often these people enter into Heroics or Military service due to the fact they are regulated.
Quirk Scale
The Quirk Scale is a scale meant to measure how dangerous a Quirk is. (A lot of this is kinda vague so I use examples)
Class 1: Minor Quirk that only affects the person using it. Does not affect anyone or anything else. Example: Colour Changing Eyes.
-Exceptions are caused for those who while their Quirk does not affect anyone else, it can make them unnoticable. Example: Shapeshifting. Spinner resides here. Nezu resides here to only on a technicality that he loves to debate with the Bureau on. They gave up and just slap him with a ‘Class 1 but Class 9 danger’ label.
Class 2: A Quirk that affects other people or things outside the body. However is low-powered and does not negatively affect others without it being on purpose. Example: a low level teleckentic or someone can make a small flame but barely enough to roast a marshmallow.
-Note: Ojiro actually technically is in this category as his Quirk can affect others but requires it being on purpose.
Class 3: Quirks that affect others or things with greater power. A telekentic able to lift larger weights or a fire user able to produce more fire.
-Hagakure is here because while her Quirk only affects her, it can also enable her to spy on others. Sato is here to, along with Sero, Jiro, Asui, and Shouji. Kirishima and Iida are in this category due to a technicality on the fact they can harm others by using their Quirk in negative ways. Otherwise they would be level 1. Similar with Twice.
Class 4: A quirk that only affects others and not themselves but isn’t considered very powerful.
-Note: Kouda actually is here as Anivoice affects animals. Technically he should be a level 6 but as it is animals he was ranked 4. (This changes when they get older though) Mr. Compress and Magne are here to.
Class 5: A quirk that can affect others or cause harm in a way that is more harmful than a class 4.
-Toga is here. Stain as well. Ochako is to. Bakugou resides here to.
Class 6: A Quirk that affects others in ways that are considered to be removing part of their autonomy.
-Aizawa is here. As is Shinsou.
Class 7: A Quirk that can cause damage to an extreme level to others or can affect someone in a way that is regarded as high level.
-Recovery Girl is here. As is All Might, Midoriya, Todoroki, and Endeavour.
Class 8: A Quirk that can cause extreme damage to others or themselves, or a sentient Quirk that does in fact have a downside.
-Kaminari and Dark Shadow are here. Dabi is to. Overhaul and Eri also are here.
Class 9: A Quirk that either can cause death or grievous bodily harm that either cannot be controlled at all, or requires specialized equipment.
-Present Mic and Thirteen are here along with Shigaraki.
Random Laws
Just a few random laws.
Hero School Law of Custody: A Law that states a hero school is awarded partial custody of any student accepted into the school. This law is in place to prevent a parent from pulling a student from the school recklessly or to prevent any contracts being signed without permission from the student. The Hero School may also pull any student from their parents if it is believed to be in their best interest.
Sidekick Law of Emancipation: If anyone under the age of majority earns a sidekick license they are automatically emancipated.
Law of Accidental Death by Quirk: A law that prevents anyone from being charge with murder if they have accidently caused death by their Quirk. For an example, I have an OC called Gas Attack who breathes out deadly gas. She would be protected under this law if her breathing support item that lets her breath the gas into a container that neutralizes it breaks. Or, if Bakugou as a toddler accidentally killed someone with an explosion. Shigaraki would have also been covered under this law when he killed his family.

A, H, K with Twice or Shigaraki.. maybe both 🥴
A - Asking you out
Shigaraki doesn’t ask you out so much as he makes you come with him on outings that you thought were going to be mission-related but turns out he just wanted to get a new action figure. His style is either cryptic or completely open and honest, and it’s hard to predict when he will react either way. He is uncomfortable with the idea of putting official names on who you are to each other and what you do together. The concept of dating and being a boyfriend make him agitated. He prefers you both settling into routines, hanging out together, desecrating every surface of the hideout and his apartment, all that fun stuff. But blatant intimacy is something he needs to work into and even then he struggles to say you are on a date. He would much rather hear these things from you. Whenever you put a name to your relationship, it makes him feel desired and secure in the relationship.
Twice will be a nervous wreck leading up to asking you out. He suffers from self-doubt and can’t imagine he’s worthy of your time, even though you do spend a lot of time together and he’s always the first person you come to for company. He’s certainly not secretive about his plans, though. In fact I think he would drive himself nuts if his friends don’t step in to calm him down and help him get ready. Toga, Mr. Compress, and Magne are the greatest hype team, instilling enough confidence in Twice for him to really go for it when you’re alone with him. He’s really sweet and awkward and he tries to play it cool, but you can see his hands are shaking and there’s sweat rolling down his temple as he stammers.
H - Hugging you
Shigaraki likes to hug you from behind. Bonus points if he can rest his chin on top of your head. It also gives him the advantage of being a big ole creep by whispering weird shit in your ear while fondling you. When he is feeling calmer and pensive, his thoughts distract him enough for you to gather him in your arms. For a long time he will passively lay there and let you play with his hair. Eventually he might start hugging you back, and those hugs in particular are constricting.
Twice will hug you whenever and wherever. He is a cuddlebug and loves physical affection. He is really warm and big so his hugs are very comfortable and sincere. Maybe he will be a bit shy in initiating hugs in the beginning, but it doesn’t take him long to quickly grow used to expressing his affection for you. He loves touching you, being as close to you as possible, feeling your laughter reverberate against his chest, and knowing that he is a source of comfort for you. He gets protective when you cuddle into him after a bad day.
K - Kissing you
Shigaraki either gives chaste kisses or he will shove his tongue so far down your throat that you’ll lose your tonsils. Usually it’s the latter because he can’t control his lust for you, and he is very greedy and demanding and wants more and more. Loves to get lost in the sensations, feeling your soft lips and whimpers, your fingers tugging his hair, he just loves sloppy and thorough kissing. When his colleagues are around he tends to be a bit more reserved around you. He doesn’t particularly care if people see him balls deep in you but he safeguards the intimacy between you.
Twice is a sweet kisser, he’s got nice warm lips that linger on your mouth every time he has to pull away because he really doesn’t want it to end. He loves making out, especially when you’re in bed or on the couch. This dude can go on for forever, running his hands all along your body, groping your ass, and grinding against you as he kisses you senseless. He also really likes it if you take the lead. The dominant energy gets him rock hard. Seriously, this man is always ready to be kissed. Even if you cut him off mid-conversation, slam him against the nearest wall, and hike that mask up for a dizzying kiss, he is gonna be all smiles as he returns your affection.

oh my god but you meeting the lov? Touya wants Toga to teach you how to use a pocket knife because “Boys suck. Source: I am one.” and she gladly teaches her new bestie how to effectively kill a man 🥺🥺 Touya is proud of you too! His baby is ready to murder in self defense! Yay!
Tumblr media
omg yes... yes... anon i love you
↝ quick content warning for mentions of blood, knives, and female reader. also i got carried away again but this is a theme i’m passionate about.
Tumblr media
toga is the first to find out about your relationship – not because dabi told her, he didn’t want to tell anyone, but because she’s a chronically-lovesick teenager that can smell these things from a mile away. she took one look at him and said some out of pocket shit about how she can “smell the love on him”. that and he keeps returning to the hideout smelling like girl. toga promises she won’t tell anyone (and means it) because she’ll do “anything for true love”.
toga loves you. always wants dabi to tell her about you, and what being in love feels like. she wants to meet you, get to know you herself and in true toga fashion, be like you.
“y/n sounds so cute, i wanna drink her blood!” “like hell you will, you think i’m letting you creeps anywhere near her?”
but miraculously, it happens. dabi has you disguised, not wanting to risk you being caught on security cameras and accidentally labeled as part of the league. all identifying features are hidden under a surgical mask and layers of clothing. he keeps you close to him at all times, pulling you into alleys to avoid cameras or hero-dense intersections. your heart is pounding, but this is just his regular routine.
you make it to the hideout and everyone is alarmingly nice (you didn’t hear the threats dabi was spewing at them earlier if they did anything to hurt you or even make you uncomfortable). kurogiri and compress are polite, shigaraki is indifferent, spinner and magne offer a wave, and toga is hugging you the moment you come through the door. dabi is half a second from ripping her off you when you hug back and insist you don’t mind.
at some point, dabi makes a comment in passing about how you should learn to protect yourself better, with something other than the lousy can of mace on your bag that barely even works. it’s not like your apartment is in the greatest area (obviously if guys like him are lurking around), and he hates that he can’t be there all the time to protect you. naturally, toga lights up and drags you aside for girl time, aka teaching you how to use a knife while you talk about boys.
you learn how to throw knives, fight with one, wrestle one out of someone’s hand, the best places to stab for maximum blood loss, etc. it’s actually a lot of fun. the practice target is a crude drawing of a male face done with scented marker. dabi peeks his head around and watches you, smiling with pride as you hit the target dead-center and immediately high-five toga in surprise. affectionately calls you his little murder machine.
toga gifts you one of her switchblades, as long as you promise you won’t be a stranger. you’re like a big sister to her now.

Random LOV Headcanons
• Repeating something from my book “Did My Time”, due to the damage to Dabi’s body, he needs to use eyedrops multiple times a day. The amount depends on whether or not he uses his Quirk a lot; if he uses it more, he’ll need to practically drown his eyes with special medicated eyedrops to help with the dry-eye.
Adding onto this, due to his body’s natural affinity for the cold, he prefers cold things more than hot, because he has a worse reaction to hot/spicy things compared to other people (just like his mother). Yes, this means I HC him to absolutely never get brain freeze. The others are always jealous of him whenever he chugs a Slurpee in one go.
His burnt, scarred skin is extremely sensitive, especially to scents and scented lotions. He’s found that ointment works to keep things moist, but that also means he needs to be constantly re-applying it every time it dries, given that his Quirk is constantly drying out his skin to the point of damage. Every time his staples tug, even a little, it’s really painful and he’s prone to bleeding.
He does have a bit of a protective instinct, but only over those he deems weaker than him (and let’s be honest, he already has a lot of trouble with his own self-image, so that list might be shorter than you’d think). Definitely has an ‘irritated older sibling to hyperactive younger sibling’ relationship with Toga once they start to get closer. Gets unnecessarily competitive with others he considers stronger than himself, even if he himself doesn’t immediately realize what he’s doing.
Due to his Quirk being dangerous to himself, he can smell off, and he gets very touchy about it. Having grown up in a wealthy family, he can get very insecure at his bedraggled appearance and smell. He literally smells like burnt flesh all the time, and it lingers on his own body and his clothing. Due to this, he always hits up a laundromat to wash his clothes a few times a week, using money he’s picked off of wealthier victims of his. Really lays on the cologne to mask his natural corpse smell (and usually ends up smelling like pine trees, smoke, and something vaguely rotting).
Dabi is incredibly touch-starved, given that most people look at him and recoil in horror. He’s more like a cat, though. If you give him too much attention, he gets annoyed, but if he happens to rest his arm on your head or shoulder, that’s his way of subtly asking for positive attention. Depending on who’s doing it, he won’t immediately shove someone away if they decide to hug him. He’s a bit iffy with touch, and the fear of accidentally hurting someone he’s close to with his own Quirk messes with his head a lot. He can be a bit of an attention whore, given his fucked-up childhood, and when he gets praise it can put him in a good mood for a while. He really internalizes negative attention and can brood about not being good enough for a long time though. Won’t admit it, but he lives for headpats. Please give him headpats. He deserves headpats. Just watch out for the hair dye.
• Shigaraki’s Quirk does affect his body, though not by quickly decaying him like he does other things. Instead it’s more of a ‘slow-burn’ decay, and his constant itching is one side-effect of that. Since his body is constantly breaking down (his scratching gets rid of a lot of dead skin on the surface), his skin is incredibly sensitive and he can’t use most face/skin products because it damages him even more and he reacts horribly to it. So far he hasn’t found a brand that can help with his marred skin. Adding to this, he can’t stand spicy foods because it aggravates his decaying body.
Since his body is in a constant state of death and dying, this means he can smell off on even good days. It could be described as musty or ‘stale’, and since he’s extremely sensitive to scents and lotions/creams, he can’t exactly just use any old cologne to mask it.
Sometimes his throat gets super dry and he chokes on debris from his own mouth and throat. He needs to constantly hydrate to keep things from getting a bit too dusty. This means he prefers wet/moist foods over dry, and if he eats anything dry he’ll have a drink to go with it. At Kurogiri’s insistence, he always has a few bottles of water in his room at a time so he doesn’t have to get up in the night to go to a working sink for a drink.
This boy is so touch-starved. Whenever someone of the League hugs him, he acts huffy about it, but he doesn’t shove them off (unless it’s Dabi giving him a noogie, then he threatens death, much to the taller one’s amusement). He secretly craves touching other people. He’s terrified of accidentally dusting someone he cares about again (his family’s deaths haunt his dreams more nights than not), but if someone hugs him he just kind of melts into it. Someone please hug this boy. He needs headpats and positive reinforcement.
• Spinner absolutely loves sunning himself on rocks during summer. Whenever the weather is hot and it’s sunny, if he has a day off you’ll find him chilling outside on a rock just soaking up the sun.
Adding onto this, he really loves humid, hot weather. While the rest of the League (especially Dabi) is suffering, he’s just vibing with the weather.
And he sheds. Usually a few times a year, but it’s not uncommon to see large swaths of translucent white patches left behind. This can annoy the League, but to his credit, Spinner tries to keep it on the down-low. More than once he’s tried inconspicuously rubbing his arm or cheek against Shigaraki to try and help get the dead skin off. (He gets really irritated, but it helps with the itching a bit, so he doesn’t really complain unless he’s trying to concentrate on something.)
• Compress will casually swipe up random items that the League leaves around and later might give them back depending on what it is. The other members can get varying levels of annoyed at this, but they don’t get too beat up about it considering Compress’s Quirk and personality. (This is how Toga lost her favorite lip gloss. She didn’t stop pouting for a week until Twice bought her another one.)
When he gets anxious or bored, he often resorts to simple hand tricks to keep himself entertained: fiddling around with his marbles, practicing simple card tricks, or practicing magic.
• Toga loves horror. Almost any horror. Especially guro. During movie nights with the League, as long as the movie has some form of mutilation and/or blood, she’s giving it her full attention. Adding to this, she really loves anything written by Junji Ito and has read Tomie about twenty times. Despite this, she has a soft spot for cutesy things and her aesthetic is Gurokawa. She definitely has a Gloomy Bear plush or two.
She definitely has a fondness for beauty products, given that she’s still just a normal girl despite her Quirk. This fact can make her really insecure, and she’s prone to depressive episodes just like anyone else in the League where she does herself up real pretty just to try and feel more ‘in tune’ with her femininity and less like the monster her parents saw her as. Magne helped with this a lot in the past, but now that she’s gone she relies more on the others to help cheer her up.
She is not above forcing the other League members into spa days. Shigaraki is the only one who doesn’t have to get a facial, though she does insist on painting his nails and doing his hair.
• Kurogiri’s mist/fog can get blown away quicker than he can create more, but only by a very strong wind. It’s hilarious. Shigaraki can’t stop teasing him for it.
Is not above using his Quirk to forcefully separate two squabbling parties, especially in the bar hideout.
When he’s bored, he does bar tricks, much to Toga’s delight.
Since quite a few League members are under drinking age, he always makes sure to have sparkling cider on hand.
He carries snacks and a first-aid kit every time the League goes out on a mission -- especially when it’s Shigaraki heading out. He really does care for the man and will be the first to hand him ointment whenever his skin gets really crumbly or damaged.
Has come to reluctantly see the League as people he worries for. That’s the closest to “hm yes these are my children now I must protect” that you’ll get.
He misses Magne for how sensible she could be. He appreciates Compress’s overall chill vibe and his being the voice of reason among their little group of mass murderers.
• Kurogiri and Magne were the League’s parental figures. You can’t fight me on this. (Kurogiri reluctantly, Magne enthusiastically.) Compress was more like the outgoing uncle that has a sense of humor nobody can really understand at first and was definitely a theater major in college.
• Shigaraki and Dabi love chicken nuggets. Every time someone brings home fast food, you can bet your ass they’ll have ordered like a fifty-piece chicken nugget meal from wherever sells that. Constantly have to deal with each other trying to swipe the other’s nuggets when they finish their own.
• Twice loves Vine compilations and can recite a worrying number of them from memory. He gets a kick out of the “A Bagel, Two Bagels” one for how much he relates to it.
• Before she died, Magne loved when Toga begged her to help her with makeup. It helped with her dysphoria when Toga would doll her up.
She loved window-shopping and imagining herself wearing some of the stylish clothes in shop windows.
Despite her cruel persona towards her enemies, Magne had a soft spot for elegant-cute things, kinda like Toga but a little less bloody.
• Muscular always challenges the other League members to arm-wrestling when he’s around. He always wins. The others have learnt not to accept his challenges, lest they want bruises/sprains.
• Mustard is very childish in his tastes. He loves chicken nuggets and mac n’ cheese. Provokes people by pulling his lower eyelid down and sticking his tongue at them. I can definitely imagine him muttering “Eat my shorts” or “Don’t have a cow, man” whenever another member is angry about something.
• In this household we pretend that Moonfish does not exist.
• If the League had Switches, you bet your ass they play Animal Crossing on them.
Toga would go for a ‘Aika Village’ aesthetic, all gloomy and creepy but with an undeniably cute element to it. Definitely wears pastels and gothic-themed clothing.
Shigaraki models his after his favorite RPG and hunts down NPCs that fit the personalities of the various characters. His favorite characters tend to be dogs. Will not hesitate to kick out any animal who fails his ‘vibe check’. Surprisingly, this game can calm him down almost as well as an RPG. Joycon drift is the bane of his existence.
Compress uses only the most glamorous, expensive items on his island. Outright refuses to use dirt paths. Uses only Snooty villagers.
Dabi wants his island to look the best and is uncharacteristically stern about how his island looks. Everything is very neat and streamlined (and he has an outdoor gym near his player’s home). Will physically fight anyone who tries to ruin it by littering or messing around on it. He has a rivalry with Compress about whose island looks the best.
Spinner doesn’t really care about how his island looks. He just wants to max out his encyclopedias. Shigaraki once caught him up at 3 AM because he was trying to catch a spider crab.
Kurogiri doesn’t play it that often, so his island is fairly undeveloped. Doesn’t really care about it, considering his responsibilities to the League overpower a video game.
Muscular doesn’t care about it at all and doesn’t play.
Mustard made his island look like something out of Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley; a town area, a forest, and even a beach.

Late Night Rooftop Talks
Late Night Rooftop Talks by soodonymx
“How did you even find this place?"
“I did a lot of wandering before the league, have to find comfort somewhere you know?”
“Makes a lot of sense. I can absolutely understand that.” Magne pulled a leg up so she could rest her arms on her knee. Her and Dabi sat next to each other on the rooftop looking over the city. They sat there in silence for a while, watching and listening to the city nightlife, enjoying the quiet comfort of someone else's presence. . . . Essentially this is a slightly ooc soft fic of Dabi and Magne on a rooftop date, talking about being transgender in a society that prefers heroes, chronic pain, and family secrets. Enjoy!

Tomura Shigaraki
Tumblr media
It was really all he could do to stare at you.
You’d moved from the theatre to an abandonment hospital, mostly to find any leftover supplies to help with your arm, or rather, lack thereof.
You’d only sort of expected this. Tomura lashing out at you, you getting hurt, you just didn’t expect it to result in you loosing a fucking arm.
Toga was helping to change your bandages, and Magne was speaking quietly with Twice, Spinner, and Compress.
Dabi was speaking with Shigaraki outside the room, and you couldn’t hear what they were saying. You were glad, you didn’t exactly want to hear his voice right now.
You didn’t think you were being that annoying, you thought you were just helping him. And you usually did. When he’d have his little tantrums, he’d get upset at you sure, but he’d never hurt you.
You knew you didn’t do anything differently than usual, maybe he was just more stressed than ordinary? Maybe you should’ve recognized that and altered yourself to fit accordingly.
Or maybe he’d just been horrible, and attacked you for no reason, and you had just been trying to help him.
You knew it was more likely the latter, but you couldn’t help but blame yourself. People don’t just try to kill their partners that they love so much
The door slid open, and Dabi stepped in. He glanced around the room, waving his hand to usher Magne, Spinner, Twice, and Compress out of the room. Today stood up, but you grabbed her hand.
Dabi pushed the door open a little wider, and your boyfriend stepped inside. For once, you were glad he had that horrible hand in his face, you knew that if he took it off you’d probably vomit.
“Call us in if you need anything.” Dabi offered uncharacteristically, sliding the door shut behind him.
Everything was quiet.
Not even the people in the hallway wanted to say anything.
He slowly walked towards you, pulling up a chair and sitting down.
You sat cross-legged on the creaky hospital bed, staring at him as Toga held your hand.
“Why are you here?” You asked quietly.
“I- I um. Why is she here?” Tomura ignored your question, pointing to Toga next to you.
“She’s here because she chopped off my arm after you dusted it. She’s here because she saved my life. Why are you here, Tomura?”
One of his hands lifted to his neck, scratching lightly.
“Shit- I didn’t want anyone else in here-“
“Why not? Don’t want anyone to see you loose yourself and hurt me more? Don’t want anyone here to save me?” You snapped.
“You- you know I didn’t mean it-“
“It doesn’t matter if you meant it or not, Shigaraki.” He flinched away when you spat out his last name like that. “I still got hurt. I lost a fucking arm because of you. How horrible are you that you have to cover up your own insecurities by trying to kill me? No really, I could have died.”
“I’m sorry!” He exclaimed, nails digging deeper into his neck. “I love you, okay? And I promised I’d protect you so-“
“So you broke your promise in the worst way possible.” You swung your legs over the side of the bed, squeezing Toga’s hand before letting go. You walked up to Shigaraki, lifting your hand and gripping his shoulder tightly.
“I’m going.” You whispered. “I can’t be around you. I still have family outside the League, friends that aren’t villains. I can build myself a semi-normal life. I’ll be happy without you.” You turned back to Toga, offering her a smile. “You can come over whenever you want, you’re my friend.” You headed towards the door.
You paused when you heard a soft noise, like a gargled scream. You turned around, seeing Shigaraki shaking.
“No, no please no- don’t go!” He spun around, grabbing your shoulders. You shoved him off you in an instant, curling into yourself
“GET OFF ME!” You screamed. But he was already launching himself at you again, you saw his palm flying towards your face. This time, it wasn’t an accident.
And you knew you wouldn’t make it out this time.
You were pulled back by a strong force, realizing Magne was holding you tight. Compress and Dabi were on either side of Shigaraki, holding him back, while Twice had ran to Toga.
No! I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! Please don’t leave me!” He screamed, the hand fell loose on his face, tumbling down to the floor. You turned away, not wanting to see him.
You could only imagine his expression.
“Goodbye, Shigaraki.” You whispered, ducking out of Magne’s grip and rubbing off.
“Goodbye.”
Touya Todoroki/ Dabi
Tumblr media
It had been a week since he’d seen you, a week since he’d felt your hands on his. A week since he’d heard your voice. A week since he’d seen your smile.
A week since he’d burned you.
Called you inferior.
Threatened to kill you.
Well there was certainly a reason why he hadn’t gone to see you since the incident.
But...
He missed you.
He felt so guilty, knowing what he’d said and done to you, and he needed to see you.
Maybe he was just being selfish.
Maybe he knew he’d done something wrong.
Maybe he needed to call you.
He flipped his phone upside down, then right side up again on the counter of the bar.
Toga sat on a stool next to him, tapping her hands against the marble in boredom.
“So... what’s up with you?” She asked, cocking her head and glancing at him.
“Like I’m telling a brat like you.” He growled, flipping his phone over again.
“You’ve been off all week!” She exclaimed, leaning towards him. “Somethings happened to you.”
“If i tells you a little, will you shut up?”
“Mhm mhm!”
“Ughhhhh fine. I had a fight with someone close to me. I... I really hurt them. I know it. I haven’t spoken to them in a week.”
“So... Dabi has a soft spot?”
“That’s not the point of this. Also say that again and I’ll kill you.”
“Oookay then. You should just call them. Say something to them and apologize.” She offered with a shrug.
Dabi sighed, pressing his face into his hands.
“They don’t want to talk to me. Trust me on that.”
“Welp- that’s just my advice. Cent for my thoughts kind of thing except you didn’t pay me. You owe me a penny.”
Toga shrugged, hopping off the chair and leaving the room.
“Don’t owe you shit.” Dabi grumbled, glowering down at his phone again. He pulled up your contact, staring at the picture he’d set for you.
You had a bright smile, emoji hearts decorating your cheeks. It was from your first ‘date.’ When you’d hung out at your place after he broke in looking for shelter and food.
You’d taken care of him, let his spend the night, and even offered to let him stay whenever he needed to.
You were an Angel on earth.
And he’d burnt you.
Called you dirty.
And selfish.
You were anything but.
Ring
Ring
Ring
“Why the hell are you calling me?”
“I-“
“Dabi. Why are you calling me? You hate me, don’t you?”
“I don’t hate you...”
“Jeez, coulda fooled me.”
“Baby...”
“Don’t call me that.”
“I- I didn’t mean it.” He choked out. “Everything I said, I didn’t mean it. And I-“
“I really don’t care. The doctors said my arms would scar. I’m burnt and scarred like you. Are you happy? Is that what you wanted to achieve? Make me like you so that no one would want me? So that only you could have me?”
Yes
“No! I never wanted to hurt you, ba- Y/n please,”
“Please what? Please what, Dabi? What do you want from me? Huh? You want me to cradle you and say is all going to be okay? You want me to kiss your scars and tell you you’re beautiful? You want me to suck your dick and tell you I love you? After everything you’ve put me through?”
“I-“
“It’s not just you burning me. You’ve left me for days without contact, and then showed up like nothing’s happened! You’ve hit me and then groveled and cried for my mercy! You’ve made me do so much shit for you in bed that I never wanted to do! Our entire relationship, I was scared you’d get sick of me and kill me!”
“You really thought that?”
“Well guess what motherfucker? You can’t come after me! I’ve told the police what happened. Everything between us. They’re helping me move across the country. You’ll never see me again. Happy?”
“No. No no I’m not happy why would I be happy? You made me happy, when I didn’t even know what the word meant, you don’t have to go through with this, please don’t go through with this!”
“Don’t flatter me. I never made you happy. Nothing could make you happy except watching the world burn. I don’t make you happy, Dabi-“
“Yes you do!”
“Just shut up. I’m going to hang up. If I’m being honest... I’ll miss you. You made me happy. But with so much anger and fear surrounding you, it’s hard to even remember the last time we were happy together.”
“I’m... I’m sorry.”
“I know.”

You were gone.
Shouto Todoroki
Tumblr media
If you thought Shouto was quiet before, you should see him now, wait, you were seeing him now, in class, eyes boring into your spine.
You still had a large bandage on your face, being hit in the face with plus added fire power is bound to leave a mark that lasts for over three days.
Did I mention it had been three days now?
It’s very hard to ignore Shouto, seeing as you were in the same class and lived in the same dorms.
Plus everyone in class wanted to know what happened between the two of you, why Shouto seemed so down, why you had the bandage on your face, and if it was all connected.
You’d only told one person what had gone down between the two of you, and that was Bakugou.
Which maybe was a mistake, because he took to trying to fight Todoroki every time he saw him, and repeatedly told you that he ‘fuckin knew that icy-hot bastard was a good-for-nothing bag of of poorly packaged horse shit.’
You appreciated his comfort, but it hurt you every time he said something about Todoroki.
“I don’t get why you’re defending the scumbag. His hand hasn’t even healed off your face yet!”
You and Bakugou were heading to the dorms after class, and he had gone on his usual tangent about how Todoroki did this, Todoroki did that, Todoroki was an asshole, etc etc.
“I mean... he’s technically still my boyfriend. And he’s been nothing but kind to me up until this point. He just... he was stressed, and I was being a bother. I’m sure the injury will fade at some point, then he’ll talk to me again and we can get back to normal.” you shrugged, rubbing at the back of your neck. “We’ll be fine.”
“You know what you are? A pushover.” Bakugou glared at you.
“Wha- I am not! Where did you get that idea?”
“Oh I don’t know, maybe from the fact that You forget to check in with how you feel and keep thinking only about that Half n Half bastard! ‘Oh, he must be so upset with himself!’ Fuck that! How do you feel?”
You kept your eyes on the ground, speeding up. Bakugou grabbed your sleeve, tugging you backwards. His hands found your shoulders, thumbs rubbing soft circles. Your breath hitched, did Shouto ever do this for you?
Not that you could remember.
“I feel... nervous.” you admitted. “I’m nervous that he meant what he said to me. That I’m nothing but a bother to him. I’m nervous that he’ll never come and talk to me, never apologize. I’m worried that if he does talk to me, he’ll think it was my fault. It wasn’t was it?”
You looked up at Bakugou warily, and squeaked when he tightened his grip on your shoulders.
“The fuck? Of course it’s not! Idiot.” he poked your forehead, and you couldn’t help but giggle a little. “Keep talking.”
“Um... I’m...” you took a deep breath. “I’m angry. I’m angry that he hasn’t talked to me. I’m angry about what he said. I’m angry that he even hit me to begin with. If we were training, of course it’d be different, but we weren’t training. And he hurt me. And now I’m doubting everything between us.”
Bakugou was silent, Cardinal eyes met yours. The tension was thick enough to cut with a knife, and for a moment, you feared Bakugou would try to blow your ass up for being a pathetic little weakling.
I mean... compared to people like Todoroki and Bakugou, you were right?
Bakugou took a step forward, pulling you into his arms. You held your breath, wondering if he was going to finally snap and kill you.
But... it felt nice.
You lifted your arms, wrapping them around his body and tugging him a little closer. You buried your face into his uniform shirt, body shaking a little as you cried.
You almost wanted to scream, but then the school would panic.
So you just cried, sobbing into his arms and letting him hold you. His embrace was war and comforting, nothing like you’d felt from your so-called boyfriend.
Maybe he was right, maybe you really shouldn’t try to think about him.
You did deserve better.
You sniffled, pulling off Bakugou with a soft smile.
“Thanks, Bakugou. I really needed that. And you’re right.”
“What was that second thing?”
“You’re right.”
“Hmmm?” Bakugou cupped a hand around his ear, feigning deafness.
“Oh my goodness- I said you’re right!”
“That’s it.” he patted you on the shoulder, proud smirk traced across his features. You chuckled. “Now you’re going to tell that to Mr. Daddy Issues and get the fuck over him.”
“Alright, but you’re coming with me!” he nodded, keeping his hand on your shoulder as you returned to the dorms, heading to his dorm.
You paused just outside his door, knocking lightly. Bakugou was a few feet behind you, out of the way, but close enough to step in if something were to happen.
The door swung open slowly, revealing a bored-looking Todoroki. WHen his eyes landed on you, he jumped a little, taking a step back. His hand tightened around the doorknob, his other hand gripping his pants
“Y-Y/n-“ he stuttered, eyes flickering between you and Bakugou. “I-“
“We need to talk.”
“Listen I- I’m sorry!” He exclaimed.
“Todoroki, I don’t think you get it. ‘Sorry’ doesn’t cut it. You might have scarred me, so your one mistake might stay with me my whole life!”
“I know.” His head drooped, and his grip on his pants loosened. “I know. I’m- I’m just like him.”
“Him?”
“I promised I was nothing like him but here we fucking are!”
“Shoto what are you talking about?”
“I’m the worst kind of person!”
“No!”
Shouto looked up, eyes brimming with tears. You took a few steps forward, taking his face into your hands.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered “it was an accident, and you didn’t mean it. Please don’t talk about yourself like that.”
Bakugou grabbed you, yanking you away from him
“Uh, what the fuck? You came here to sever ties with him, not fucking comfort him!”
“Look at him, Bakugou. He needs me.”
“Y/n-“
“Trust me.” You smiled at Bakugou, pushing him away from you slowly before turning back to Shouto. You took the boy into your arms, rocking back and forth with him.
You ignored the heavy feeling in your chest, and the screams your brain slew ar you to get off of him, get away from him, and let Bakugou protect you.
You ignored logic, emotion, and all better judgement.
For this boy who’d hit you.
But Bakugou would end up being right, he was smart.
You’ll see.

Shit wrong Pomeranian

That’s better
Katsuki stood outside Recovery Girl’s room, waiting for Kirishima to come out and tell him what was going on.
He was chewing on his nails, foot tapping against the ground as he stared at the door. He could hear people moving around and talking inside.
He couldn’t get the sound of your screaming out of his head, the large dark patch that formed on your skin around your face, the way you just... fell.
The door slid open, and Bakugou stared forward and Kirishima stepped out, smiling and thanking Recovery Girl.
Bakugou was on his feet in an instant, grabbing Kirishima’s arm.
“How are they? Do they hate me? Can I see them?” He rambled, Kirishima gently pushing Bakugou off him.
“Uh, they’re fine for the most part, they haven’t said anything about you at all, and ask Recovery Girl.” He said, backing off down the hall as Bakugou stared helplessly after him.
“You uh- you might want to apologize. They are really upset.” Kirishima told him, quickly running off down the hall. Bakugou faced towards the room, stepping inside.
A cyan curtain blocked him from seeing you, and he heard shuffling behind it. It slid open, Recovery Girl stepping out. She looked up and saw Bakugou.
She wacked his leg with her needle/cane, and he yelped, stumbling backwards.
“You have no shame!” she snapped. “With what you did to them, you should be cowering outside right now!”
“Shhh!” Bakugou pressed up against the wall. “Do you want them to know I’m here?”
“Are you that clueless?” she grumbled, pulling herself up into her chair. “They’ve gone temporarily deaf.” Bakugou froze, glancing back at the curtain.
He’d blown up your eardrums.
He felt Recovery Girl press something into his hands, and he glanced down.
It was a small whiteboard, with a pen and washcloth.
This was how he’d have to talk to you.
On a fucking whiteboard.
RG pulled the curtains aside, revealing you.
You were laying in the bed, half your face wrapped up in bandages, hands resting on your lap.
“Y/n...” he murmured. You remained still, staring out the window. Bakugou cleared his throat, and you still didn’t react.
“They can’t hear you, remember?” RG shook her head, waddling over to the other side of your bed, pointing at Bakugou. He watched your face slowly turn, before his eyes shot away from you, staring at the ground.
He heard you swallow, and you let out a soft whimper.
Were you scared of him?
Bakugou lifted the whiteboard, quickly scribbling some kanji on it
ごめんなさい (Translation: I am sorry)
You reached forward, taking the whiteboard from him and erasing his words, putting your own down instead.
分かってる。(Translation: I know)
Bakugou pursed his lips, fidgeting with his shirt before he watched you put more writing down
どうして?(Translation: Why?)
Bakugou reached out, taking the whiteboard back, quickly putting down his excuse explanation
私は弱いと感じました。 じゃあ霧島を助けてくれたんだ。 うらやましくなってきた (Translation: I felt weak. Then you helped Kirishima. I got Jealous)
お許しください (Translation: Please forgive me.)
He handed you the whiteboard back, tapping his foot against the ground. You passed it back to him, and he hurridly read your response.
私はそれについて考えます (Translation: I’ll think about it.)
He had a chance. His eyes finally lifted off the whiteboard, landing on you.
The visible part of your face looked exactly the same, although there was a large bandage on your ear. Your eye looked sad, fearful, and nervous. You had a shaky smile on your face, trying to make him feel better.
You were always thinking about him.
それは再び起こらないだろう (Translation: It won’t happen again)
You sighed, smile falling.
本気?(Translation: Are you sure?)
Bakugou felt his heart drop into his stomach.
Well of fucking course you didn’t trust him, look what he’d done to you!
おっしゃる通りです。. もうお前を放っておいてやる さようなら、y/n。(Translation: You are right. I will leave you alone now. Goodbye, y/n.)
He stood up, leaving the whiteboard on your bed. He headed towards the door, with his hands stuffed into his pockets. He ignored the soft cry of your voice, surprised he was leaving.
He ignored the way you managed to choke out his name in a warbly, unsure voice.
He slid the door shut behind him, slumping against it and sliding down until he sat on the cold ground. He buried his face into his arms, finally allowing himself to cry.
He wasn’t going to try and talk to you, he resolved. He wasn’t going to bother you or scare you.
He’d keep you safe by refusing to talk to him.
He’d let the author end the fanfiction right then and there.
The door slid open behind him, and he flopped backwards, staring up at your face. You were holding the whiteboard.
オマンコにならないでください。 事故だったのは分かってる 頑張って俺を捕まえるのか諦めるのか? どんなヒーローがあきらめるだろうか?
(Translation: Don't be a pussy. I know it was an accident. Are you going to work hard and get me or give up? What kind of hero would just give up?)
A smirk slowly spread across his face. Yeah, he’d work hard. He’d never scare you or hurt you again. He’d do better.
He’d be the best boyfriend.
And he’d accept your help to stand up next to you.

After fic note: ohmygod I’m finally finished. This took fucking forever. You loved part one so much, I had to make sure part two was perfect.
Some of these ended in heartbreak
Another ended in a questionable descision
The last ended happily
All of them are different!
I hope you get my references, and appreciate the Japanese Kanji I put in Bakugou’s part (if any of it is inaccurate, please let me know so I can try my best to fix it. I don’t speak or write Japanese, I used this translator to get what I needed).
I worked hard on this, so if y’all could tell me what you like and dislike about this so I can improve my writing, that would be lovely. Don’t be afraid to pop a comment or pop into my ask box, I do my best to respond to every comment and ask, so don’t worry about being ignored.
I love all of you, and I’m so glad to be able to write for you.
Thanks for all of your support, I promise I’ll work hard on all of my drafts to make sure you get entertainment constantly!

Shigaraki Tomura Raising A Child
Tumblr media
A/N: he’d make the best and worst parental/sibling type (i still firmly believe that they should’ve taken Eri)
He himself doesn’t understand why he took the child. He stares down at the child, messy hair, shoes worn with the soles already falling apart, dirt under the nails and this tired look in the kid’s eyes and there’s a deep familiarity and he isn’t sure why. Tomura will crouch down, think about offering a hand before pulling it away and he tells the kid that they can come if they want.
He’s horrible in the beginning. He’s more like an underpaid babysitter who feeds the child candy and throws a juice box their way. The kid wants to throw a tantrum? Fine, but they don’t get snacks. It’s until the others actually step in- a few days late but they hadn’t thought the kid would stick around due to their infamy- that the family becomes a bit more closer, neater stitching that keeps them together.
Kurogiri helps with the meals, Toga is there for dressing up, Mr. Compress and Magne are better at teaching the child how to read and write, Spinner and Dabi make sure that the kid doesn't touch what isn’t there and Twice carries the kid around on his shoulders. It’s dysfunctional and functional all at once. The kid is kept safe. Their emotional state is a bit stunted due to Shigaraki being the main caretaker, and practically giving the child whatever they want in order to stop the crying or whining.
They’re attached but not. It helps that the child is cute- they think of the kid more like a pet or doll, a cute accessory that will be pawned off eventually given the risk that they carry. They’ll keep the kid safe, fret over if they hit their head or skin their knee, but they aren’t lulling it to sleep, they don’t get them a toy that is suited to their interests. None of them were really ready to take on a responsibility to the child.
While he does owe a great amount to All For One, he keeps the child a secret. He doesn’t know why and it leaves him panicking in the bathroom. He’s heaving over the toilet, tears welling in his eyes and the salty water stings at the fresh cuts. But then he feels a small hand on his ribcage. When he turns, the child is holding a cup of water and a stuffed toy with broken buttons for eyes. That’s when it cements that the kid is there to stay. He’s never really had anyone care for him like that and when he did, it was long ago. So for this child to come up to him and offer what he has, he’s touched.
The child is quirkless. He thinks it’s for the best. If they did have a quirk and All For One had found out, he probably would have taken the quirk. So, he keeps the child safe, tucked in his bed when a meeting is about to start. He doesn’t mention anything about the new member, makes sure that the room is clean, not a single possession of theirs out in the open. During smaller missions, he makes it a point to stop by a toy store and steal whatever he thinks the ankle-biter would like. He steals blankets, toys, books, takes a tablet if he can and runs. It’s almost a comedic vision if he weren’t so dangerous.
He and the child form a strong attachment. The child will kick and scream if they can’t see Tomura for longer than an hour. Tomura in turn will hardly let the kid out of his sight. He holds the child close, lets them wrap their arms around his leg or neck, and talks about crimes while the tot wears bear themed headphones. They both rely on each other for that type of unconditional attention and love. The child had no one to go to, no one to help them in a time of need and Tomura sees the child as something more, he lets the kid cling to him, rub their hands around his neck and let honey scented cream be massaged messily on him.
The kid hardly sleeps on their own. It’s spent with him, snuggling close to his chest, small hands fisting the shirt that he wears. It’s only a few times that Tomura will turn over, eyes heavy with sleep and kiss the top of his head, throat tight with something lodged inside. He’ll pull the kid carefully close to him, and sleep protecting the child.
The child is Tomura’s highest priority. They’re spoiled and will believe that they’re the best because that’s what they're told. The group becomes attached, watching over the kid but they come second compared to Tomura. They sit beside him, mimic his mannerisms, and sleep beside him. The child plays pretend and is the villain in the story.
It’s a while into the new family situation that the child’s picture pops up on screen. In the picture, their hair is shorter, they have fuller cheeks and brighter eyes. The screen turns to black immediately after. He isn’t letting the child go. He’ll go into a room where the child is, watching as Spinner plays a game with wide eyes and the child will greet him with a happy smile and call him a term of endearment. Tomura will sit down and pull the child to his lap, asking them to explain the game and he smiles. He thinks the best part of the kid is the way that they explain things, using repetitive words and hand motions that cut through the air.

Note
Oop, I forgot to add it's just depends on how you wanna do it, if you wanna do them in groups, it's fine! Also, I'm the Rat/Mouse Anon that asked bout the their reactions! I'm just sort of curious about their reactions!
(I remember you. Let’s just give it a shot with the League of Villains if that’s okay with you. I’ll even throw Hawks in there for free.)
The original ask went like this: “ Headcanons or reactions if the villains' s/o has a rat/mouse quirk(like they have mouse ears but a rat tail) and they always made jokes about them being part rat like, "I'm finna give you the black death if you keep poking me-"
~Rat/Mouse quirk S/O~
Tumblr media
headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up
-Hawks: As if he weren’t already kinda annoying and cheesy with his bird reference. He’s going to double up with mouse references instead. There’s a whole lot of “Hey mousy! You know you’d make the best prey for a Hawk like me.” I guess it’s his form of flirting, but it can be annoying if it carries on for too long of a time but I’m sure you can handle it because you know he means well.
-Moonfish: For the most part, he never really teases you about how your quirk makes you look. He’s all too familiar with the way a quirk can affect you. Even if you’re not offended by it, he takes respectful strides to treat you like a regular human.
-Kurogiri: Just like moonfish, he’s very respectful and doesn’t tease you about your quirk. Very rarely, he acknowledges it. When he does, it’s always during a more soft moment. He offers reassuring words if it ever makes you insecure. He also takes the time to stroke your ears when you two are alone. It’s just Kurogiri being soft as usual.
-AFO: First thing he does is offers to take the quirk from you because he can. “Are you positive dearest? Is it bothering you? What are the benefits you gain from keeping it?” So say you keep it because it’s a big part of what makes you, well...you! He respects that decision and treats you no differently
-Toga: Obsessed to the highest degree. Tough because you should have already known she’s got this fixation on 2 things...Bloodied and beaten things or super cute things. Because a relationship wouldn’t work with the first option, she takes her interest in the cute aspect instead. She will literally buy a mouse ear headband and walk around like it’s disneyland just to share in your cuteness. Constant random pics of you will be taken, constant moments will come when she tries to put bows on your tail. You’re just cute food for her, and she’s hungry lol
Twice: Can be a little annoying when he’s in Twice mode. When he’s in Bubaigawara mode (stable Twice) then he is mature about most things. After all, it’s just a quirk altercation. No big deal. In Twice mode, he is always in your face giving 2 different opinions at once and also offering you cheese all the time. He’s a little manic so you have to put up with that for a bit. Really it’s not that bad once you try to get him away from the mouse stereotypes
-Shigaraki: He smiles whenever he looks at you because you’re so cute. Unlike most of the others, of course he’s going to tease you sometimes. “Hey mouse, want some cheese?” You probably punch him at this point for being annoying. If you ever happen to get down, expect him to actually be there to support you too. At some point maybe you feel like shit or something because of the way you look. He’ll say something along the lines of “You’re amazing Y/N. You’re the most amazing girl/boy/person I could have ever laid my eyes on. I want you to know that okay? Besides, you’re just a mouse. Everyone knows I’m the ratty looking one in this relationship.”
-Dabi: He’s going to be the one on this list that is most likely to hit you with the plague jokes. This bastard thrives on teasing and annoying you. Go ahead and get pissed because that only pushes his cause even further. The only time he’s not on your ass is when he knows it’s a serious time or something like that. Other than that, be prepared for every mouse/rat joke in the book. Not to mention the way he pulls on your tail or ears from time to time. Then there comes the sexual teasing when he pushes you against the wall gently and locks you in with his arms so you’re forced to look into to striking blue eyes as he leans down and utters “What’s wrong little mouse? Cat got your tongue?”
-Spinner: This boy will be soooooo defensive over you that it’s ridiculous. Due to everything he endured in his life because of quirk altering appearances, he’s going to go out of his way to protect you from anything like that. He’s stressed because even though you’re cute, there will always be people out there that won’t accept quirks as a part of society. You will always be a freak to someone out there. Spinner is determined to protect you from that hurt. Even if you’re just chilling on the couch at the LOV headquarters and someone is being playful with you (IE probably Dabi) then Spinner will literally fight over that. What may be a joke to them, could potentially hurt you (even if you tell him you’re okay lol)
-Compress: 10/10 boyfriend and husband material. I don’t mean to put him on a pedestal like Kurogiri, but they’re both best to be with especially if you have a quirk like this. For Compress, he manages to be respectful but cheesy at the same time. Like the mic jokes come, but he’s so awkward and over the top with his flirting, that he makes you laugh every single time.
-Magne: Sis is shook. She already feels like you’re hot but now you’re also cute as well?!?!?! She is the type of significant other to wanna show you off all the time. It would work if she weren’t currently a villain and avoiding social media lol. Either way, expect a lot of dates and compliments out of her because that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. She spends more time complimenting your quirk rather than teasing you over it.
-Muscular: The only other big asshole in the group besides Dabi is of course going to be my mans Muscular. The difference is that he can be a little too rough for you sometimes and may even end up telling you to suck it up if he hurts your feelings but I swear he’s not that bad all the time. There are soft moments when no one else is around and he’s softly stroking your tail while you guys watch a movie together on the couch or something
-Mustard: Little sweetheart but won’t admit it. Lowkey makes shitty art of you in his notepad. He’s even the type to write your two initials together somewhere in the hideout where he thinks you won’t see it. He has a little beanie baby mouse he sleeps next to when you’re away. It’s not full cuddling or anything, he just puts it on his nightstand and stares at it until he falls asleep, or until you call him with your good night message. A real cutie but will deadasss hit you with the plague insults when you’re together.

Warmth of another SpinnerDabi
So since some people ship these two, I decided to make a ship story/fanfic of Spinner and Dabi! Um don’t judge me for my bad writing, I’m not good at this kinda stuff haha. I hope you guys like the read!
Some villains have seen the worst of heroes. They've seen how the heroes would treat others that they see as 'lower' or wrong, in someway. Spinner had been judged based off his looks for all his life, and thought he was worthless for so long until he met Stain! Well... he didn't mean him, per say, he did learn about him though, and he finally decided that this was his new meaning; he was going to become the new Stain and show the world just how bad they were! The heroes that were supposed to save and protect people were often the ones that left the others all alone when they needed help the most.
Dabi knew that well. He was hurt, abused, pushed down and almost killed by his father. It made him lose his memory for a while, not that the others of the league of villains knew about that, they didn't even know his real name! Not that Dabi wanted anyone to know his real name just yet. It was going to happen, just not now. His father hurt him and left him, threw him to the side when he decided that Dabi wasn't worth the trouble of training anymore.
All the heroes think that they're the best things ever, but where were they when these people were just children who needed saving? Who needed a hero?! They were gone, away, getting fame elsewhere. Most of them only cared about money or the attention, which is why some of the villains decided they wanted to take out the symbol of peace so all the others could feel just how they felt. Lost, confused, and scared.
Course they weren't planning the fall of heroes all the time, sometimes they needed time to relax or just time to calm down after a big battle, you know? They're planning something big though! Right now? Not really. Toga was hanging out with Twice, doing each others makeups with stuff they stole a bit ago and Spinner was sitting on the couch, sharpening his sword while Shigaraki was playing a game and Spinner was watching over his shoulder "If you duck under that bridge, you can find an Easter egg" Shigaraki's eyes shoot over to look at the lizard and makes a small tsh sound, but does do it and chuckles a little at the literal egg under the bridge. Easter egg... he likes that.
Everyone else was doing their own things. Mr. Compress working on magic tricks, showing them off to Kurogiri and Magne since Spinner was pretty damn sure that Compress had a crush on them both... god damn bi icon.
Speaking of an icon. Dabi walks into the hideout, smoke raising from his arms and he reaches up rubbing his neck, yawning out. As he opened his mouth, the skin being held together by his stitches stretched, making a cold shiver go down Spinner's spine. He always hated seeing Dabi yawn, it just made him think his skin was going to break or something! Come on, that's gross. Sure, he could lick his own eyes because of his quirk but he didn't do that... often... shut up.
Dabi walks over to the second couch and falls down on it his face hidden in the pillow, his legs over the arm of the couch his boots hanging down. The faint smell of smoke and fire could be smelt on him, which sorta made sense. Oh and also the smell of burnt flesh yeah, that’s kinda gross but still made sense. Shigaraki looks over at Dabi and makes a small sound of annoyance "You stink" he says.
"So do your plans, but I don't say anything" came Dabi's quick reply, which was just a little muffled. He most likely went out and burned some people like he did often, he said it was because he liked burning trash which Spinner honestly found really cool! He was such a cool guy. Now you could ask Spinner, did you have a crush on Dabi? The answer? Yes. He also had a crush on Shigaraki but he wasn't really looking for someone at the moment plus spinner didn't even know if Shigaraki could, you know, fall for someone. He couldn't even tell if Dabi could. He was a hard person to read.
Shigaraki narrows his eyes at Dabi, tightening his grip on his game while making sure not to decay it on accident. Kurogiri looks over and sighs shaking his head, or at least that's what it looked like, and he says "You two, no fighting in the building. If I have to replace the couch again one of you two will have to pay for it this time" even though he could just open a portal but still! Shigaraki just huffs, focusing on the game again starting to press the buttons.
With that it went back to being silent other than Toga and Twice chatting, along with the three, Mr. Compress and the other two, also chatting. Spinner went back to sharpening his blades getting lost in thought looking at Dabi out of the corner of his eyes. He didn't really try to stare, he promised! It was just that Dabi was pretty cool looking with that cool jacket, the shiny staples, the cool black hair and those boots that had such a high platform part! Wait... what? He turns his head to look at Dabi looking a little confused, his sharpening coming to a still. Had he always worn boots like that? What's with that platform part? That looks like it would make him taller?
As he thought, he didn't realize he was staring until Dabi turns his head and their eyes meet as he hums "You need something lizard?" he asked, not sounding annoyed but not really calm either. He sounded mostly bored.
Spinner narrows his eyes, huffing and says "It's Spinner! I'm not a lizard, you don't see me calling you fire person or something, right?"
Dabi stares at him blinking a few seconds, silent then responds "my name means cremation, you're literally calling me burning" he stands up and starts to walk down the hallway, covering his mouth with his hand, yawning again "anyway, I'm going to my room. If you need me, don't" he then shuts the door behind him with a light slam.
Spinner grumbles turning his head down and Toga skips over "he seems in a good mood" she starts "I wonder if he saw something that made him happy? That would be great!" she puts her hands up to her mouth, giggling "I wonder if he killed some people" she hummed happily. Spinner rolls his eyes at her, but smiles anyway. He offered to sharpen her knife for her, while she sat down beside Shigaraki leaning against him watching him play the game, Twice walking over to join them leaning over the back of the couch holding his arms around Shigaraki's neck. He was just ignoring the two of them it seemed. He normally didn't like being touched but that was mostly just when he was in one of his moods.
During that time though, Spinner couldn't stop thinking about the thing he saw. Those boots... did that mean Dabi wasn't really that tall? How tall would he be? Spinner himself was 5'8 and from what he's seen, Dabi was 5'9 plus some just the same as Shigaraki. They were some of the taller people in the league, other than Mr. Compress, he’s pretty tall! With all these thoughts he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to sleep. Ugh.
It seemed as though he was correct, as he was laying in his bed staring up at the roof lost in thought. Yeah, they all had their own rooms! It was awesome. What wasn't awesome was that he couldn't sleep; it was all Dabi's fault. He sighs moving his arm over his face mumbling under his breath "This isn't even fair” it wasn't the first time that he stayed awake thinking of his crush, but he didn't think he would be thinking about his height! There's no way that Dabi was shorter than himself, right? It would be nice... damn if he was the taller one, he could hug onto Dabi and just rest and warm up the thought made him hum happily. After laying there for a few more minutes, he knew that he wasn't going to be able to sleep until he found out. With a slow sigh he pushes himself up to sit on the bed, pulling his fingers through his hair which was pretty long when it wasn't styled up.
Thinking about it for a bit longer he decides, you know what? He was going to go for it. Pushing himself to stand up he starts to walk out of his bedroom slipping a hoodie on over his head. Was this going to be a mistake? Yeah, most likely. Honestly he couldn't believe that he was going to go and do this! It was going to be so weird! Plus he could end up getting killed and turned into a crisp lizard! The thought made him shutter but he shook his head to get his mind off that and walks over to Dabi's room, pressing his head against the door shutting his eyes listening for any sounds. Not all the time did Dabi stay at the hideout, most of the time he went out and said that he didn't want to stay there with people that could kill him or at least try to. He only started staying here a few weeks ago, it was a nice thing to know that Dabi was slowly starting to trust them! Welp! Time to break that trust.
Slowly Spinner pushes the door open to see a messy head of black hair under the blanket with just a little bit of hair poking out. He was under the blanket curled up, while the bundle was rising and falling slowly with the breaths Dabi was taking. The green male pauses, staring for a few seconds and slowly steps closer his eyes scanning around the room. There was a poster of Stain, a picture of Endeavor with knives in it, along with random burn marks along the walls, and a box of yarn for some reason? Whatever he didn't really care about that at the moment. Slowly he reaches out for the blanket to pull it back.
Before he could even grab the blanket though, he felt his wrist getting grabbed, and he gets pulled forward making him lose his balance falling forward onto the bed and Dabi holds up his other hand, blue flames appearing, his knee between Spinner's shoulder blades to keep him down pressed into the bed and Dabi speaks, not sounding very amused "I should burn you to a crisp right now for coming into my room Spinner. You have five seconds to explain before I do."
Ah color him horny and scared.
"One" Dabi starts to count, the blue flames lighting up the room. Spinner knew just how deadly those flames were, like a beast that could devourer everything in its path. Spinner turns his head to look at Dabi narrowing his eyes at him and squirms “You seem to always like using your quirk so much, you like holding power over people's life, huh?" He decided to ask.
Dabi's lips twitch up in a small grin, the staples straining to hold his skin together "Stain's tenets say that Spinner, now I'm about on four."
Aw come on, bringing Stain into this? He was so proud. He lies his head down on the bed thinking about how to explain "I wanted to test something" what was that? He was smarter than this. Sure, he was just some empty cosplayer, he didn't have a lot going for him but he figured he was smarter than that! Ughhhhh
Wait-
He didn't feel the weight on him anymore, he could move his arms so he opens his eyes looking up to see Dabi standing in front of him, his arms crossed not looking too impressed just like earlier but he didn’t look annoyed this time, maybe even a little amused? He was wearing baggy pants and a tank top, most likely so he could sleep without the fabric getting caught on the staples in his skin? Yeah, he was sure that would not feel good. They stare at each other for a few seconds before Spinner stands up brushing himself off and looks at where Dabi’s face normally was but slowly turned his head down since he wasn't face to face with the fire quirk user.
Oh shit... he was tiny.
Dabi stood shorter than normal, maybe at 5'5? It was hard to tell exactly, Spinner just knew that he was taller! Happy day. "you're small" came his quick voice, not thinking about what he was saying until he said it. Dabi lets out a slight hum in annoyance "Really? No idea, thank you for telling me something I could not have found out myself"
sassy little shit. Spinner thought to himself well he knew that Dabi was small... not like he could just go for the hug like he could with the others! He would hug Toga and Twice, sometimes Shigaraki if he wanted it. He would get along really well with Magne he found it funny that they both had little crushes on Dabi, though she didn't hide hers very well and he never seemed to respond to it, or he got weirded out? It was a little strange, hard to place.
Slowly he realized that he was still just standing there so he clears his throat and nods, turning quickly walking out heading back to his room holding his hand over his mouth. He was going to turn on his heating pad and just try to get rest, this was crazy.
[Time Skip]
It had been a few weeks since that day and Spinner couldn't get it out of his head. How was he so small? Why did he wear those boots? He guessed that the reason Dabi wore those was to appear taller and more threatening? Plus it was impressive that he could go and fight in those boots! God he wanted to be that cool... why was it that they were all so much cooler than him? First Stain, then Shigaraki and lastly Dabi. Eh screw it, they’re all cooler than him. Toga’s pretty great too.
It was cold out so Spinner wasn't having the most fun. He was curled up on the couch with a blanket around himself, his eyes shut breathing in and out slowly the others were on a mission, which he really wanted to go on, but he couldn't, because he would have most likely fallen asleep. Damn this place for not having heating! Ugh it was so cold. He sniffles curling up tighter but perks up when he heard the door open and shut, making him open his eyes and he looks over seeing that it was Dabi who walks in and looks over at him "Hey, they sent me back to check on you" wait really? "You look like shit" ah right when he thought Dabi would care about him.
"If you came here just to mess with me, you can get out. I'm not in the mood" Dabi rolls his eyes at the response he got and he looks down, slipping off the boots he wore and walks over, nudging Spinner "sit up" getting a small grumble in response from the lizard guy made Dabi narrows his eyes a little in annoyance and nudges him a bit harder "I said sit up"
Spinner grumbles in annoyance himself, mad that he had to get out of his ball but he did as told and slowly sits up. Dabi grabs the blanket from around him and sits down leaning against Spinner shutting his eyes and seemed to start to get warmer making Spinner perk up, staring at the other male for a few seconds who shut his eyes "say anything and I'll leave you to deal with this alone, scales" With a little huff of laughter Spinner leans against Dabi shutting his eyes, not saying anything just enjoying the warmth for now. Guess this was better than being alone.

How Shigaraki Got Amnesia
How Shigaraki Got Amnesia (and saved the world with theories and references) by Yukiko IcyhotGrenade
“Kurogiri! What do you mean the possibility of me being an adopted Martian from Mars is impossible? Don't be planet racist damnit!”
Kurogiri counts the star stickers on the ceiling. “Well, Tomura, that's because I can confirm that you are 100% human and not some creature out of Earth. Stop watching those Donald Trump reincarnated videos made over 100 years ago. Honestly, you were born in the wrong era.”
“Damn right I was! Who the hell decided to ban those PS4s for the modern version since it was before quirks? I wanna see the chicken dance!”
“Fucking child.”
Tomura pulls a face. “What did you just- Oh hey!” He waves. “Welcome to the League of Villains. Do you want to join?”
“Tomura you can't just ask someone whether they want to join a villain illegal organization.” Kurogiri brings tea. “Have a seat. Would you like some tea? And join?”
The burnt man blinks in rapid succession. “You are the same people who invaded UA?” - Where Shigaraki gets amnesia, forms a League dedicated to getting his memories, find a boyfriend and save the world. Not necessarily in that order.

Because @dadzawa-adopt-dabi reblogged that tree-eating a steak thing:
There are a thousand ways for a soul to become trapped. Hawks could list about fifteen off the top of his head, from spells to curses to hexes to blessings of protection. It was part of his hero training.
It was vastly incomplete.
There are other ways of binding a soul. Ways that the commission didn’t teach because there was no proven method to recreate, and so there was no proven way to break that binding. Methods that were written off as folktales and fairy stories.
Things that weren’t ‘real’.
It didn’t make them any less true.
He climbed the path and felt the ache in his muscles. Dabi was meters ahead, bounding up the side of the mountain as carefree as a goat. He didn’t bother offering Hawks a hand. To be fair, it was probably for the best. He didn’t want Dabi to look too closely at it. He might be able to see the discrepancies, to see that it wasn’t actually Best Jeanest in the bag. Hawks knew he was being paranoid- there was no way Dabi would be able to recognize subtle things about the top heroes, but there was always a chance he could or that he could have some item of power that would let him know falsehoods.
The path leveled out suddenly, and his field of vision was filled with the sight of a too-big tree. He’d seen trees like this only in children’s anime and books. It was massive, with moss and greenery growing over its limbs and bark. There were hollows pitted throughout the gnarled, looping roots. He wondered if this was where the league had one of their hideouts. It certainly looked like there could be tunnels under there. Dabi was sitting on one of the roots that protruded out of the ground. There were many that did, standing taller than most men and showing how deeply ingrained the tree was with the surrounding forest. He was hit with the feeling of how unreal this all was. At the same time, it felt too real to be a product of magic. It felt as old as it looked and that was a different type of magic entirely.
Dabi grinned at him, too wide and with too many teeth as he gestured to a spot. Slowly, the roots groaned and creaked and a spot opened up the length and width of a man. Just perfect for Hawks to dump the corpse in.
He grimaced and shifted the bag, watching as it fell loose-limbed into it.
------------
He could never find the tree without one of the LOV leading him to it. For the longest time, he wondered if there was a cloaking spell on it, but test after test revealed nothing. Eventually, Spinner cornered him after catching him running tests one day, catching him off guard. They stared at each other, one hand on his feather in case he needed to cut his losses and bail. Spinner sighed and sat down next to him, pulling out a makeshift grimoire. It was a tiny thing and was straining at the cords that held it closed.
“I have been trying for months to figure out what is up with this tree. Here- I’ll save you some time and maybe you can see if I missed anything.” Spinner said, cracking the book open. A puff of sparkling magic escaped, tickling his nose and setting off a sneezing fit that had Spinner laughing and teasing him about his tiny kitten sneezes for weeks.
-------------
Dabi loved the tree. Dabi hated the tree. Dabi expressed the most energy and emotions when around the tree. Where Shigaraki thrived in the dark urban areas where things whispered and flitted about in the half-light of the street lamps, Dabi came alive as soon as they entered the forest where the tree resided. It usually meant that Dabi was faster in dodging Hawks’ attempts at small talk, walking faster than Hawks could keep up and still retain that casual, easygoing stride. Once at the tree, it usually meant that Dabi took to the branches to escape, and once there, no one but Shigaraki could find him when he didn’t want to be found. Even then, Shigaraki had a significant failure rate.
Research on the tree turned up nothing. Neither he nor Spinner could find anything about it. There was no mention of it in the records, both digital and paper. Trees that big and old were almost always noted, as they were places of power and ritual and, depending on the part of the country you were in, usually had some sort of seal on them. For a tree to be that big and for there to be neither word nor seal on it was unusual. It rubbed Hawks the wrong way and thrilled Spinner’s more conspiracy-like tendencies. Well, conspiracy if one followed the commission’s definition since there was a great deal of folklore on that list of potential answers.
-----------------------
Hawks learned to love the tree. Despite the logical part of him warning that there was something wrong with it, that there were too many questions left open for it to possibly feel safe, he felt at home there. The nightmares he would be subject to faded as soon as he stepped foot on shared soil, and fatigue fell away like blown away leaves. The weather felt milder and the air breathed a bit cleaner.
It was home, as much as any wild place could be home.
The others seemed to share the thought. They would arrive and the weight would just fall from their shoulders. The conversation was lighter and touches were accepted, encouraged even, with them trading pats and hugs and casual affection. Much more than Hawks was used to and far more than he saw the league perform when they were in the city.
Even Shigaraki was content. He would bitch and moan on the way up, but once they were within the clearing, he’d make as quick a beeline towards the tree as Dabi did, often scaling up the trunk to his favorite perch while Dabi stood with a hand resting on it. If it wasn’t so wildly unlikely, he’d assume Dabi was talking to the tree.
It was one of the nights where they were spending the night in the clearing. It was beginning to get cold in the city. Out here, it was chilly, but not unpleasantly so. A few blankets were added to their overnight bags but aside from that, they didn’t need much else. Even a fire was forgone as they bedded down for the night.
Toga and Twice were closest to the roots, settling in a nook on the trunk just above where they started. Spinner was above them, tucked into a split where a branch veered off at a sharp forty-five-degree angle up. It looked uncomfortable how contorted and twisted Spinner made himself, but apparently, it felt better than resting in the hollowed spaces. Those hollowed spaces were where Magne and Kurogiri and Mister would stay. They had the most bedding out of everyone and would deck it out like a small tent in there. Ever so often he’d hear shouts as they awoke to find an owl or a fox had bedded down with them.
He didn’t know where Shigaraki slept. That man disappeared into the foliage and it was like he turned into the cobwebs that dotted the upper branches. Dabi either slept near the nest-like area that Hawks would build (so shoot him, it was nice being able to literally make a nest) or he would go the route of Shigaraki and just vanish into thin air. Most of the time though he’d sit on the same branch as Hawks, usually bringing something. A branch with leaves or a pad of moss or even dried, sweet-smelling grasses. All items that he knew could go into the nest. Should go into his nest. They went into his nest and Dabi settled further out on the branch and either watched Hawks fuss or would look out into the forest, seeing things even Hawks couldn’t.
-----------------------------------
Some of the people from the liberation front had followed them to the tree. Dabi had been twitchy all afternoon as they hiked and they all knew something was off. The air felt too-thick and razer sharp, nothing like the usual ease that greeted them.
Lightning crackled and then struck the tree and they all realized the wrongness of the forest was due to one of their quirks.
The fight was quick- Hawks liked to think it was because of him that it was wrapped up so quickly. He had left them alive, tied up as they discussed what to do. Hawks’ eyes kept sliding over to Dabi, who was trying to hide how the fight had hurt him. He didn’t see Dabi take any hits, but he had a deep-rasping to his breath and there was a faint tremor to his hands as he gestured rudely when Spinner asked about it. As the night went on, Dabi didn’t get better. Shigaraki did his vanishing trick again as Spinner and Toga grilled their prisoners. Hawks watched Twice as he fussed, small plumes of colorful magic wrapping around the fire-user as Twice rambled at him.
Shigaraki appeared- not like he dropped down from a branch or he walked around the tree. He was gone one minute and there the next, wisps of mist trailing his heels as he strode over to Dabi. They wrestled for a minute, neither really trying to push the other too far but Shigaraki was worried and that usually meant he withhold physical contact and just made wider motions to get someone else’s attention. It happened to be Twice who took over, manhandling Dabi until his coat was removed and they could smell the sickly odor of rotting and burning wood and flesh. A black bruise-like mark covered his collarbone, moving across his shoulders to seep down his back. The edges glittered like dying embers while the rest looked like festered wood.
Shigaraki hissed and pointed at Hawks. Something flickered behind him. Something that wasn’t registering on his visors. If Shigaraki was a kitsune or something like that, he would have found out already, the tails would show up on half a dozen tools he had, and registered on at least three of the spells he kept running.
“You. Keep him here. Everyone else, follow me.” Twice, Toga, Spinner and oddly Compress followed after him, Spinner taking the lead just behind Shigaraki. Toga shot Hawks a look that promised pain for him, glee for her, if he didn’t do as requested.
He did as requested and threw an arm around Dabi, mirroring what the villain had done countless times with him. The pieces were coming together and he started to understand.
“What will help?” Hawks asked, as if he were offering to get Dabi a soda. He was staring at the men they had tied up. The initial plan was to return them to the front and make an example of them, but he was wondering if they would be better used somewhere else.
Dabi rasped a laugh.
“What are you going to do, hero?”
He gave a muffled warble, deep in his throat as he removed his arm and started down one of the roots. The men were tied up on the edge of the clearing.
“Well, you’ve been so sweetly helping furnish my nest.. I figured I could at least feed you in return, right?” He shot Dabi one of his charming Poster Smiles. Behind him, feathers zipped and zoomed, assisting with his task.
Dabi started laughing, soft and raspy, but laughing all the same.
