Whether it is your first bull or your sixth, they are all special because of the work that goes into it. Getting an elk on public land is no easy feat. Shaun started hunting with me seven years ago. On that trip he took his first bull with a bow after I called it into range. Since then he has taken six bulls in seven years. He has really dedicated himself by constantly shooting and staying in shape. Guiding and hunting with Shaun is something I look forward to each year. All his effort preparing for the hunt outside of the season always pays off when it comes time to hunt.
