I feel like a lot of those people have trauma and just don't remember it. Or could be on the schiz spec, or maladaptive daydreamers, have psychosis, etc.

For the majority, I don't think they're lying. I think they're misunderstanding symptoms. I'm not mad at them for it. It's a confusing situation to be in when your brain is an Unknown Factor lmao

The misinformation is harmful but I get that a lot of them could be in a rough spot, trying to figure it out. They're not nearly as harmful as fakeclaimers and all.

"Trauma" Can also be a bit of a blurry definition. Like being autistic and having no accommodations can cause trauma, neglect causes trauma. I feel like there's this assumption that every system went through horror film-like torture, but there are a good amount that were traumatized by neglect, illness, poverty, etc.

But I've also seen weird tulpa shit where they try to act like this can be controlled, or like, TwoSoulsOneBod who says they uses one alter to shut down the sensation of hunger, like this is a superpower. Those folks deserve all the mockery they get tbh
