A very nice cat just greeted me like an old friend and escorted me from the bus stop to the shop while meowing conversationally and keeping perfect pace with me the whole way which was already incredibly charming but then it also waited on the corner by the shop, shouted to get my attention when I got out, and then chattered away while walking me back to the bus stop and demanded 5 minutes of little cheek scritches before wandering off into the night?? Vaal deals with chronic migraines from an old, nearly fatal head injury. Of course magical healing exists in the forgotten realms but the injury in question sat unattended to for a while before he was healed, and the healing was done by a self taught novice magic user who was casting the spell in a panic. It worked and he lived but the healing was imperfect, leaving him with some issues with his memory and migraines.

Mainly, they are triggered by further head injuries (of course) despite all of his further injuries being healed correctly, and stress. Both of these are problematic for him since his line of work has him being stressed and injured often, and very little can be done about it. On top of that, he's acquired superior darkvision via a special warlock pact with the god Vhaeraun, which has made him somewhat light sensitive, and more prone to the migraines on very bright days.

He's gotten very used to dealing with discomfort and pain (often to his own detriment), and usually just does his best to ignore/push through it. Fortunately for him, his lay on hands ability does bring a good deal of relief when needed.

This blog marks its first year today! Thank you for making the journey with me!

I'll talk about something a bit personal in a minute so... for everyone not wanting to go that far: Thank you again, I appreciate each like, reblog, comment under my posts! 2024 was a ton of fun creatively-wise for me!

It's seems pretty uneventful i know- But it's important to me. To be perfectly honest when i first launched this blog i never thought it would go that far. It was a bit of an experiment. This was supposed to be a blog to dump some art for a month or three then disappear as quickly and quietly as i appeared. No one knew about this blog, not even my friends, i wanted to start fresh.

I've been internet shy for more than half a decade. Posting online made me feel miserable. Nauseous even. I mainly shared stuff with my close ones because who cares right?

But when i love something, i love it with PASSION. I get very ignited, make a bunch of fanart then die. supernova style

Attack on titan is no different, I was in shambles when it first aired, lost interest because of the wait but came back at it again with impeccable timing right before the grand finale and what do you mean my crackship from 2015 is actually canon? You crazy son of a bee, i'm in!! I couldn't share my crazy obsession too much with my friends because...well i didn't want to be obnoxious but i needed it out there. This was a shot in the dark.

Well all this to say that i didn't expect the love. Sincerely thank you. It helped drawing feeling fun again. It helped posting being a bit less stressful too.

I can't say for sure how long this will stay but i enjoy every moment in the community so far

it's important to go into your favorite tags on tumblr and change 'top posts' to 'latest posts' for enrichment because you will find some incredible stuff you wouldn't otherwise. it is also important to not do this because you will find posts with takes so terrible it fills you with enough rage to fuel an entire jet engine.

Vaal is a dragonborn, which are classified as a “rare” race in Faerûn, so in most cases he does come off as looking strange/unusual. He’s pretty often the only dragonborn around in a lot of the places we visit as a party, and that’s been the case for most of his life since he didn’t grow up in a big city (any along the sword coast for example) where populations are very diverse.

Travel/work/living wise this hasn’t really impacted him too badly, as most people in Faerûn are used to seeing all sorts of people of different species/races. Racism does exist but he really hasn’t experienced much of it (the only person to person incident to occur so far was more directed at his drow party member Vienna, and the only systematic incident was experienced by the entire party (non-humans not being allowed into the city of Hillsfar)), though this could simply be due to the fact that he’s both very large and very intimidating, so maybe people who might take issue with him choose to keep it to themselves.

The most major effect is just the fact that he grew up disconnected from his culture and never really had anyone around, other than his own siblings, who looked like him or spoke his native language. People in his life often have trouble reading his facial expressions and body language if he doesn’t compensate by emoting differently or more dramatically (he does use this to his advantage often when it comes to deception and intimidation, but it’s still a pain to deal with otherwise). And he rarely has opportunities to talk to people in draconic despite it being his favored language as well as the one he’s most proficient and literate in, which he does struggle with as he’s not particularly literate or well spoken in common.

These things, combined with other factors, have lead to him feeling frustrated and isolated pretty often when it comes to socializing.

stonefield manor | cc build. stonefield manor is gorgeus and luxurious mansion featuring a stunning brick exterior, spacious interiors for entertaining and a backyard full of greenery.

i’m back this time with an european/english inspired brick house. my inspo for this house is here. this house is maxis mix, i used both alpha and maxis cc. this is my favorite build out of the few i’ve done this year and i hope you like this build as much as i do

for the computer in the office, kitchen AND in the teens room your sim has to sit down first, otherwise it won’t work. otherwise everything is functional and playtested

the upstairs has a weird lighting glitch i tried to fix it but it didn't go away so i hope you dont mind that

i use K-hippies terrains mod and their other replacements too so the grass won’t look as realistic as it does in my game if you don’t own the mod. it's not necessary but highly recommend. you can find it here

i don't recommend using this lot without all the cc plants/trees since i don't know how they are gonna get replaced if u don't have them & they're not that high poly
