Psychic types are able to telepathically communicate to other pokemon, as well was their trainers. It's not really having full on conversations and not really hearing anything in you're head; its hard to explain. Just imagine you get like a really strong sudden feeling or urge to do something or a picture appearing in your head. Like with Joker, I'll randomly get the sudden urge to buy pokepuffs, or a sudden thought of Joker and his favorite toys will appear when he wants to play.

But, Orbeetle are also incredibly smart, and he learned that he can communicate the wants and needs of my other pokemon, so then I'll end up getting a headache because he doesn't feel like communicating it one st a time and rather shove all the thoughts and feelings down my throat.

It can be a little scary for the first couple times it happens, especially if you didn't know before. When it first happened, I jumped because I didn't know what caused it or why until Joker decided to telepathically tell me it was him via the thought and picture of him. But you'll get used to it after a while, and it can be kind of fun knowing you can communicate with your pokemon like this!

HELLOOOO, Recently finished my playthrough of SWSH and Ive decided to redesign my other Pokemon OC :> This is Emile! He’s Paldean and Kalosian, currently residing in Galar where he’s continueing his music career! He makes both synthwave and soft rock music.

His team consists of two Meowstics, Delphox, Toxtricity and Klefki. And as a bonus he has another Espurr hiding in his jacket almost at all times! I love him dearly, hes also quite in love with a certain dragon type gym leader in Galar :>

Indeedee Myth

There's an old Ballonlean myth of human Indeedee hybrids called fána. They weren't actually hybrids in the traditional sense; rather, people with Indeedee horns and Indeedee legs. They would help people and pokemon with tasks, but were also tricksters and play harmless pranks.

are fairy types moreso an emotional type? what exactly is the essence of a fairy type that distinguishes it from, say, a psychic type?

Assuming I understand your question, fairy types are often very emotional 'mons and can be heavily in-tune with the emotions of pokemon and people around them, especially to those who they are close with such as their trainer. The difference between how a psychic type is in-tune to emotions compared to fairy types though, is that psychic types tend to just know the emotions your experiencing through their psychic abilities, they can tune in directly to your brain. For fairy types though, the easiest way to describe it would be to say they are VERY empathetic creatures. They don't exactly know it as "surely" as a psychic type, but they're very good at understanding people's feelings, good or bad. They feel rather than see.

Something else to note is that fairy types draw a lot of their power from nature as opposed from their own mind. Several fairy types are associated heavily with the moon, such as Clefairies. There's even a pokemon move known as "Moonblast" in which the user draws power from the moon to attack. Others, like Florges and it's preevolutions, draw power from the flowers they protect. While psychic types have strong powers that come from within, fairy types harness energies from around them and use that in battle.

Chimecho Facts

-The scientific name for Chimecho is "Sonus canus" which roughly translates to "Chime sound"

-The Chimeco line is related to the Bronzong line

-Chimeco breeding became very popular 1930s Sinnoh, where people would try and breed the most exquisite Chimeco. This has led to many Chimeco variants and crossbreeds

-In the wild, Chimecho live in forests, mountains, fields, and cemeteries

-Because they are commonly found on cemeteries, many people associate them with death. It's an old tradition to bring Chimecho to funerals on Sinnoh

-The inside of its body is hollow. Most of its organs are under a thin layer of muscle and skin surrounding the hollowness

-The thin metal surrounding them works like an exoskeleton

-The top of Chimecho's head has little suction cups, which they use to cling to branches or cliffs in order to sleep. They also do this in strong winds to prevent flying off

Hatterene Facts

-The genus name for the Hatterene line is "Fascinus petasus" which roughly translates to "Enchanting hat"

-Hatterene is closely related to the Gardevoir and Gallade line; both species can detect human emotions, and they both can sense the emotional state of others. The reason that Gardevoir and Hatterene respond so differently to emotions (with Gardevoir appreciating them and Hatterene avoiding them) was because they shared a common ancestor that had to branch out due to changing habitats. The Gardevoir line grew closer to humans and feeding off of emotions, while the Hatterene line evolved away from humans and used their emotion sensing to detect danger

-Hatterene will make “brews” of berry juice by making bowls out of tree branches and leaves, putting water in the bowls, and mashing berries into them, while stirring it with their tentacle. Because of this, many trainers often give their Hatterenes yogurt as a replacement for this

-In ancient Galar, people who would own Hatterene would be suspected of being witches. A lot of Hatterene trainers fled to Unova to avoid persecution, but they were killed their; along with their Hatterenes 

-Hatterene will often have groups of young Impidimp working for them. They punish them by hitting them with their tentacle

-While easy to spot, a lot of people still don't notice. Hatterne's body is actually very small, and it's so tall because of its strong hair keeping it up

-There's a myth of Hatterene who was stuck in a tower, and many prince Pokemon would travel to save her. But they would soon find out that she wasn't stuck, and spread that myth herself so that she could lure in her prey easier (one of my fav Hatterene myths tbh)

-In a lot of myths, Hatterene's hair is the thing that gives it its psychic energy. The old practice of burning one's hair after cutting it came from the belief that a Hatterene would steal it for its magic

-The idea for witch hats came from Hatterene. Another fun thing though is that there's actually super cool history on witch hats, and I'm trying my best not to info dump here. I'll link a video explaining Hatterene and witch hats at the end of the post!

-There's a regional varriant of Hatterene who lives in a sunnier climate and has 4c hair instead of silky hair

-Some Hatterene can be trained as service pokemon to help people with sensory issues

Umbreon is so cool omg like i think it was going to be a poison type and that’s so cool! Also two of my favorite plushes are Umbreons bc childhood me always held the shiny one when I was scared at night and put the other one on lookout bc they are nocturnal so could protect me! kiddo didn’t understand they couldn’t really but I’m sure to this day they did in a way of protected me from the fear I felt. Thank you to those two plushies who i still have placed looking at the bed on guard for me

Leafeon is next and it’s the one who I’ve been compared to the most and so goofy! I think i might just be a Leafeon with a bowtie tbh tbh!

Glaceon is really goofy like icy boiiiii I actually have a oc that has one as a service Pokémon
