11/25/20: Went on Wednesday to the fleamarket. Here's what I bought. It was pretty calm so not much gaming stuff. My first find was Sonic on gamegear for $3.00. I found some dvds after that. Three scifi and horror series, Unbreakable and an anime. Paid $10.00 for all. The next stall had something similar. UMD's! Most of them were beat up and cracked, but the six I got here were in better shape. And at 50 cents each, a damn good price. Finally the last seller is where I actually found some games. The man had a bunch of sports games for ps2 and ps3 on his table. But I went nuts grabbing all the vita games mixed in there. So I got motorstorm ps3, Dirt 2 on DS and a bunch of Little Deviants and Hotshots Golf. Spent about $55.00 for all. $5.00 each. I think I can make some money back, selling the vita games locally. 07/25/20: Mexican flea markets near me are slowly opening up. They're easing up on covid restrictions. Did a takeout on some tacos and I spotted this movie nearby. For $30 pesos ($1.40 US) I'll support a local merchant.

01/09/19: Oh the joys and frustrations of being a border gamer! I had a decent haul today at the Wednesday fleamarket. But it could have been better! After making it to the US, I had a hard time finding a parking spot to go into the place. When I finally got in and made my way to a guy that always has games, I saw a guy paying for a stack of dreamcast games. I just missed them. It was at least ten games! I stalked the guy from a few feet away hoping he would drop them or wouldn't work something out. But he kept them. I managed to see in his hands a Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves and a street fighter 3. I got to admit I was jealous! I found the box he pulled them out from. He left behind an Ecco the dolphin, hydro thunder and railroad tycoon. But to my surprise, when I went to pay, on a table I found more things. I saw a case for Phantasy Star and Grandia 2! How could that guy forget them? But when I opened them, Phantasy was empty. And Grandia only had one disc. I don't think the guy knows, but I do. Disc 2 is a music CD! So I snatched it right up. I also found that bowser plush. So I got everything for $14. The next get was saints row 4, a Beatles CD and a bluray for $3.00. After that three DC comics for a dollar each. And then more stuff for a dollar each, five music cds and superman special edition DVD. Then, three more umd movies also a dollar each. And the last $1.00 find was FLCL anime DVD.Then, a ps1 goofy game for $2.00 too. I then found a DVD motherlode! I found two places with a ton of media. It was hard to choose first, but I went to one. Where for $14, I got two 360 games a ps3 and wii game, a Juanes CD, DC and DC Lego DVDs and two bluray movies. The second place had less discs but I still found nice things. For $10.00 I found four Samurai Champloo DVDs another bluray movie and three OG Xbox games. The last place I went to, i found some interesting things. I found five IKEA folding DVD holders a PS2 monster component cables, a generic Saturn controller, two more bluray movies, and I found the battery cover to a (exploded battery) logitech wireless controller. All of these fine things were $10.00. But what wasn't fine was Mexican customs. As once again they fined me for importing too much goods. I had to fork over $300 pesos ($15.60 US) to them. I wasn't lucky this time. But I think they're trigger happy because they know that Wednesday is a busy day to extort money out of travelers.

Here's my shelf space all full of psp games! Three rows of them! Farthest back is my umd media discs, while the other rows are my games! Still got space for a few more!
