I made this post about Devapsimon dates, but what happens when they have a third wheel?

Cameron wasn't exactly thrilled to have babysitters

And the couple just wanted some alone time

But Queen Bee and Luthor figured that it was an appropriate punishment for a failed mission

A nice, funded date in a private room, away from prying eyes

Except for those of their comrade

Dinner was SILENT

Psimon and Devastation spent the whole hour or so glancing at one another, talking telepathically

And Cameron figured it'd be rude to interrupt

Not even being snide like he would've under any normal circumstances

The whole babysitting thing knocked him down a few pegs

And he'd rather not have his ass kicked by Devastation, thank YOU

Only sounds were their hurried orders and a few coughs as Cam semi-tried to break the silence

Eventually they all made it back to base, intact

Promises were made to not fail anymore missions (for fear of embarrassment, on Cameron's part)

Promises were broken

After the first few times, dinner became more tolerable

There were discussions about what could have gone better during the mission

And a few jabs about the "poor, overworked cousins" having to babysit, on date night, after a trash day

Cameron laments that they could be having double dates, if Tuppence ever agreed to go out with him

Psimon assures him that the Twins are having a punishment of their own

(Turns out they get separated and sent to kidnap teens away from each other 🥲)

He’d sensed it. Of course he did. But he was too slow…now you’re in the infirmary with a bandaged side and an IV drip.

“…can you stop pacing..? It’s giving me a headache…”

Psimon paused at the sound of your voice. Despite how tried you sounded, he can’t deny how much it soothes his heart to hear it again.

“Apologies…how are you feeling? And don’t tell me you’re ‘fine’. You’re smart enough to know I can see right through you.”

You huffed a chuckle. He liked that sound.

“I’ll live…gonna have a gnarly scar though.”

He chuckled a bit.

“Gnarly? Well, that’s certainly a word for it…”

You managed a smile, and for once, he smiled back. Not a malicious or sarcastic smile, but one that reflected in his dark eyes as well.

“I do hope you realize you won’t be going on nearly as much missions now.”

You groaned and let your head fall back against the pillows, which makes him smirk and lean forward.

“I don’t make the rules. But, even if I did, you know I’d-“

“Yeah yeahh you’d say the same because you’re ’oh so smart’. Right?”

He narrowed his eyes. You were witty and cute, but not that cute.

“Watch it.”

You yelped in surprise as he flicked you on the nose. Anyone else and he’d’ve sent a headache their way. But you were already dealing with so much…and he cared for you too much for that.

“So when can I return to normal missions?”

Psimon frowned. Of course you wanted to be back into danger the second you healed…but he couldn’t lie to you.

“Two months.”

“Agh! That’s so long!”

He smiles again. At least he can look after you until then…as much as Psimon hated to admit it, he really had a soft spot for you…

“…hey, uh…can I ask you something?”

He raised a non-existent brow at that. Of course you could. You always could. But why the hesitation..?

“…why are you looking after me…? We’re not exactly...the same rank…let alone Devastation might be a bit miffed if you spend time with me instead, so…”

Oh. The hard questions. Well, again, he can’t lie to you so here goes nothing.

“…You cared for me when I needed someone…you did the dirty work no one else was willing to do…and please, she can deal with me not being hers anymore.”

He paused, glancing at his hands on your bed.

“…It’s time I return the favor.”

Silence. Until…he felt warmth. When he looked up, you had placed your hand on his much paler one.

“…thank you Psimon…that means a lot…”

He blinked. Oh now now his face was getting hot! And because of his complexion, there’s no doubt you can see the pigmentation forming on his cheeks. But regardless you didn’t point it out. Thank god for that.

“Of course…anything for you…”

He froze. Why’d he say that? Now it’ll be obvious-

“…that’s sweet…I’d…honestly do a lot for you too…”

Oh. Oh! Well that’s positive. He blinked then smiled softly. He thought for a second, then he leaned up a tad, his eyes staying on yours. After a second he realizes this and begins to pull back, but your arms around his neck stopped him. A hug? How…warm…

“…you mean a lot to me Psimon…”

“…Simon.”

“What? That’s what I said-“

“No. My name. Not my title.”

“Oh! Oh…thank you then Simon…”

“…anything for you.”

DC animated shows are famous for creating new ships like John Stewart Green Lantern X Hawkgirl, Poison Ivy X Kite Man, and of course Superboy X Miss Martian, and Psimon X Devastation is no different.

I think it would be fitting if they got married since we have seen the characters of the show grow up to where now they are getting married and having families of their own and it would be interesting to see the villains do this as well. Plus there aren't that many examples of married villains in fiction, the only ones I can think of on the top of my head are the Monarchs from the Venture Bros. and Rita and Zedd from Power Rangers and all those characters got better because of it so I say the writers should do this. You know an underrated ship I just thought of? Psimon x Devastation. Back in that one episode in season 2 when she started cozying up to him, I was enamored with the mere idea of it and I'm glad they became canon. Also love that she's openly and shamelessly affectionate with him...Man, now I'm gonna be bummed if we don't see them in the second half...

You know what anon, this isn't my cup of tea but I'm happy for you. I hope, for your sake, that they pop up in the second half so that you can get your Psivastation juice.

Young Justice couples

I read a lot of fans are disapointed because there aren’t explicit gay couples or LGBT+ character in Season 3a (And I am too). But I would like to remind you how diverse the straight couples are compared to other universe (which mostly have a strong male and love interest female) (I still hope there will be LGBT+ representation in season 3b though):

Spitfire (Wally x Artemis): where the woman is stronger (without Wally’s superpowers) than the man + an interracial couple (Caucasian x biracial Caucasian/Asian)

Supermartian (Conner/Kon-el x M’gann/Megan): interalien couple (Martian x Kryptonian/Human) where they are both strong) (HC: M’gann is gender fluid or in the 3rd gender)

Chalant (Dick x Zatanna): they seem to be a chill couple with equal repartee.

Wonderbird (Cassie x Tim): where the woman is taller and stonger than the man.

GuardianBee (Mal x Karen): a Black couple where the woman is a nice scientist and the man a caring and supportive boyfriend (both away of the Black cliches I saw)

Tye x Asami: an interracial couple (Native American x Asian) without a white counterpart.

Angelfish (M’gann/Megan x Lagann): interalien couple (Martian x Human (Atlantean)) where they both struggle with discrimination and racism. 

Red Cheshire (Will x Jade): interracial couple (Caucasian x biracial Asian/Caucasian) where the two of them are equally strong (I may see Jade better at martial arts though).

DickBabs (Dick x Barbara): a couple with a disabled person who still put the non disabled person on the floor.

Blue13 (Jaime x Traci): an interracial couple without a white counterpart (Latino x Asian (Traci is still Chinese in YJ? Or she is biracial?)) but I’m not okay with Traci punches Jaime

Emerald Crown (Queen Perdita x Garfield): interracial couple (Qurac for Gar in Africa and Vlatava in Europe for Perdita) with different status (queen x citizen) and where one of them isn’t related to the superhero game, supportive and protective of each other.

Haloforce (Violet x Brion): an interracial couple (Caucasian x Arabic) but also merge two people of different religions (Brion is definitely not Muslim) and status (Prince x refugee) and one of them is non-binary and the other totally supportive without question it.

Jefferson x Jace (Black Lightning and the weird Doctor): an interracial couple (Black x Caucasian) where one of them is a divorced man but still in good terms with his ex wife.

Psimon x Devastation: a couple where the woman is stronger than the man (I see them as a reverse supermartian xD But I don’t know if they are an interracial couple as well. Psimon seems pretty white to me but no idea for Devastation...)

Canon Same sex interactions:

Disonance Harp (Violet x Harper): interracial couple (Arabic x Caucasian), bi girl and a questioning queer (could be bi/pan too). I really need to tell something about this one?

Kaldur x Wyynde: interacial Atlanteans (Black skin x Native American skin) where one is a hero and the other one works at the royal palace (councelor?), they could be a polysexual/gay couple (we don’t know Wyynde’s sexuality yet).

About same sex couples (which we could expect/hope will become canon):

GoldenFlash/DoradoFlash (Bart x Ed): interracial couple (Latino x Caucasian) but also with two nationalities (Argentinean x US), both meta but one of them isn’t in the hero game.

Mistwire (Livewire x Mist): interracial couple (there’s comics where Livewire is black before turning to blue skin and Mist has dark skin but I don’t know if she black specifically, maybe Indian?), both rescued meta, one seems pretty protective and the other the cute/innocent kind.

Did I forget anyone? What do you think guys?

NAH CAUSE THAT IDEA OF A PUNISHMENT IS SO FUNNY TO ME—like the others just got sent away to do missions but Queen Bee was just like “y’know what, y’all have to watch over Cam on your date night”

Like instead of execution or getting fired, no, you have to take this mans with you to Chillis—

Not just Chilli's babe! This is the Light! They're not skimping out. There's a whole room, if not restaurant, reserved for their date nights. Full wine menu, desserts, whatever.

Queen Bee knows these are her best workers. Replacing them would be more trouble than anything, so they just need some motivation to do better next time, right?

Even if it doesn't work, they're still cool working w/ her and don't want to try staging a coup. It works out for the Light in the end (even if Devastation and Cameron complain about the third-wheeling dates for a week after.)

Like. They can't actually GO a lot of places until Diplomatic Immunity, so season 2 dates have to get kinda creative.

Ngl, there are probably some pretty nice places on the Reach ships and Manta subs. Ocean or space views, and even though there are a lot of people going by in the halls, they can only focus on each other.

And we know that Luthor has some NICE places. Honestly? On days off, they could probably, like, request a park to be closed off by him or whatever. Something they'd take advantage of to get away from the rest on Onslaught (they still love their team, but sometimes they need Alone Time)

Can't see many public dates, if any. Maybe if they did go out in public, they'd be the Hoodie Couple (his exposed brain, her tattoos.) And who's gonna mess with the jacked woman & her boyfriend? Idiots, but otherwise, nobody.

I’ve been imagining a Devapsimon kid for the past 3 days

I don't know if you had a specific look or anything that YOU had thought up, but this lil' nugget has been in and out of my thoughts for a bit, so Here.

She has the best of both worlds - brains and brawn. Trains with both of her parents, but that's not all that the interactions are limited to.

She never has to worry about not being loved; the rest of Onslaught loves their niece, her parents are always there for her- hell, everyone's probably in each other's brains all the time with Psimon's psychic link, it just gets used MORE once nugget starts having fully coherent thoughts in her lil dome.

Child has *enhanced* strength, not super. I want her to be a balanced OC even if I don't use her a whole ton. She pretty much has the strength of a professional weightlifter using hysterical strength (physically the most force one can expert; most likely will hurt the user) and that's just, like. Her trained strength.

Just. Don't piss her off. She can tear you in half, and if she doesn't, her family will instead.

Pocketwatch Question!

I know Kitten is into Robin I/Nightwing and Dick Grayson, so my inspiration of Ace will be based on her for blond hair and blue eyes like her mother with her father's insane madness.

Matt's permanent portrayal has changed from Noah Nixon from Generator Rex to Danny Rand aka Iron Fist from Ultimate Spider-Man, I loved Greg Cipes for voicing him so much.

His portrayal starts from Noah Nixon for S1 and S2, and Danny Rand for S3 and S4...that's the procedure.

Recasting her will be good for the rivalry between Kitten Moth and Catgirl, but I chose Lucy due to the Injustice trailer video in Arkham Asylum between Harley Quinn and Catwoman in their Arkham City skins.

Lucy Quinzel's character portrayal is Annie from Generator Rex mixed with Jinx | Powder from League of Legends, and Misty's portrayal will be Beverly Holiday from Generator Rex mixed with Stocking Anarchy from Panty & Stocking.

Knowing users make redesigns of heroes and villains are very savage...follow those people who recreated them if they're really savage.

I would usually picked my portrayals by watching shows like Invincible, Young Justice, Ben 10 (Not the Reboot...it's OS/AF/UA/OV), Generator Rex, Teen Titans (2003), the Last Airbender, X-Men: Evolution, DCAMU, the Secret Saturdays, Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, the Legend of Korra, Spectacular Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man, TMNT (2003), Wolverine & the X-Men, and others.

Since Gizmo, Jinx, and Mammoth got some redesigns...Mammoth got a different design and I love it...we will choose the portrayals.

We got Psimon, Devastation, Gizmo, Shimmer, Mammoth, the Terror Twins, Jinx, Icicle Junior, and Holocaust.

Let's start with the sirens; Devastation, Shimmer, Tuppence, and Jinx...they need four more members to make this even.

I chose Blackfire, Terra, Ace, and Domino...I know Kitten was the original one till I realized that she has something I hate about her...and that'll be dating and using a mutated spider guy.

Blackfire's portrayal is Circe from Generator Rex with violet to blue dye within her black hair, I want her to be step-sisters with Wildfire and Starfire while having a big brother named Darkfire...portrayed as Moss.

Starfire's hair is an ombre with brown, pink, red, orange, and yellow for the fiery ends like fire...Blackfire's hair is now ombre with black, violet, blue, cyan, and white for the snowy tips.

Ace's portrayal is Annie from Generator Rex, the natural hair and eyes before becoming her new alias...this was Kitten's original portrayal.

Ace Spades will have Kitten's portrayed looks, Jinx's tattoos and color scheme to her hairstyle, Harley's clothing styles, Joker's insane madness, and their choice of weapons.

Domino's portrayal is still will be Beverly Holiday, though I want to give her Stocking's color scheme to her stuffed cat with Misty Kilgore's hair and clothing...her mother's portrayal is Rebecca Holiday to show off the resemblance between the two characters.

Going to the guys...Psimon, Tommy, Gizmo, Mammoth, Holocaust, and Icicle Junior.

For Billy's portrayal, I chose Walter aka Skwydd from Generator Rex.

For See-More, his portrayal will be Rex Salazar and I thought it'll be cool cause he has the Omega Nanite Goggles to the powers...watch the show...it's nostalgic.

You can vaguely register the cries of the rest of your team, both of battle and pain

Chunks of rubble hit the ground, raining down from the collapsing ceiling

That's probably how you got into this mess, actually

Sprawled across the floor, bleeding from multiple areas

Your leg's probably broken.. not that you can register much pain, the way your head is pounding

You probably took a pretty nasty hit that you can't remember right now

"Psi..mon?"

You feel yourself say his name more than you hear it

The edges of your vision were creeping in, darkening with every passing second

Blood rushes your ears as you wait for a response

A sign

Anything at all..

You could feel his response, a gentle smile tugging at your lips

Now that you're conscious, you can feel other wounds

Cuts, bruises.. your leg was almost definitely broken

"I'm here."

His hand covers yours, fingers lacing gently to avoid the Band-Aids that litter your fingers

You can feel him move around you, sitting on the edge of the hospital bed to be in your line of sight

He has a few wounds himself, a bandage just barely visible beneath his sleeve

Hopefully nothing too serious..

He offers a small smile; the same one he gives when you two can be domestic, gleaning your brain just to feel your thoughts

"Still so worrying when you're the one with head trauma.."

You offered an indignant mumble, squeezing his hand

"..it's not too bad, is it?"

"You should be cleared for missions again as soon as your leg is healed."

"Good.."

You two sat in silence for quite some time; a somewhat common occurrence for your relationship with the telepath

You both knew it wouldn't do any good to panic about the situation; sometimes, things Happen during missions; the consequences can be unavoidable

Instead, you two relished one another's company

You never can tell how much longer you'll have, especially with your line of work
