Girl if Louis had to sit through the same opera ran by vampires like Santiago, dozens of times, he'd bring a book, too. Also, Claudia was in the play. Was Louis ONLY interested in what Lestat likes and not Armand OR Claudia or his own interests?
also didn't louis judge lestat heavily for pretending to read books to pass as cultured? didnt he ignore him at HOME as he read his books?

#4k notes#Louis was in love with Lestat and he still loves that man but that's just not proof of it#! like that other post comparing the cute coffin scene with the bed scene in dubai#apples and oranges to me#okay guys be real with me#did I hallucinate lou..stat's bad months together?#did it happen only in my head#be real with me#them not being intimate#louis always thinking of claudia and looking for articles about her whereabouts#lestat being so done with it and going to antoinette#louis hoarding habits and reading his books as lestat tried to talk to him and all that#did it happen only in the version I watched?#and this isnt even to say Louis showed more interest to Armand and his likes#but completely IN the relationship? cause he went to opera with lestat?#(also didnt he judge lestat for torturing that guy for being bad at opera)#sofia rants#One thing I love about Louis is that he will absolutely judge his partners for what they do#no matter how much he loves them.#and saying Louis never went to his depression periods or stood up to his beliefs or had the mind to judge Lestat#because he was in love with Lestat#makes Louis like those one dimensional protogonists from the hallmark romances#in which their whole life depend on one man#Louis is Louis without Lestat#(and without Armand) and he doesnt need ''saving''#especially from the white saviour (lestat as we see people being cute about or daniel tbh)#ANYWAY#i should be sleeping

The rich stepfather is playing badly in the baby show_Jin Gu [Complete
My comment (German) : sehr entspannter bl . Mit einem baby
English:
Jian Yanqiu traveled through time and space and became a vicious cannon fodder in the book. He tried his best to forcefully marry into a wealthy family, but was tortured by a super naughty child. He retired after the Kids Show lost face. Jian Yanqiu: It's so troublesome... Actually, I can just quit the circle. After all - my husband doesn't come home but only gives me money! Who wants to fight for the internal competition!

So I just realised something. Sylus has this entire dark persona, which is not even close to any other LI, the closest to him is Zayne's dawnbreaker in terms of that, not to mention his evol is literally Blood. So come to think of it, he has a beef with Xavier as he is a wanted criminal Lumiere, as someone mentioned (I don't remember who though) but his evol could directly interfere in Zayne's work and that could very well represent him to be a antagonist for Zayne, and Rafayel might know him or could have some link to him from the entire No Hunt Zone, and there is a chance that he indirectly is the one to get MC in the No Hunt Zone as well, so what if his entire purpose was to have MC in the No Hunt Zone because not only he has a indirect link with the boys but he might as well want something from the MC (Her rare protocore heart). And that not only ends there, I have another theory. We all know that something really bad had happened between Rafayel and MC for him to be afraid of her using him again, he himself has said that on multiple occasions, so what if something like that had happened with Sylus and MC as well, cause you know we would have Myths for him eventually that would reveal about him and his overall placement in the story, so he might as well just be here for vengeance unlike Rafayel who had let it go. Or the other three LIs that have yet to be introduced including Sylus could act as an antagonist to already introduced LIs, because there is a speculation that there would be 6 LIs in total which could be true considering we have six types of Stellectrum (I don't remember the spelling, sorry), so we have 3 protogonist type and 3 antagonist type.
And come to think of it, he is the only one to have direct links with other LIs, if not he is definitely keeping an eye on each one of them, Xavier's even shown directly in the main story through that Raven, and Rafayel has to have atleast one meeting with him considering how deep his underground connections run and his frequent visits to No Hunt Zone, and well Zayne is a famous surgeon, so Sylus might see them coming but the other don't.
(Don't mind me, I'm rambling now, Sylus got my brain in spirals).

Book Review: Ninth House
Author: Leigh Bardugo Genre: Dark Fantasy
Imagine being thrust into the world of magic and getting to attend one of the world’s most elite universities. Sounds like a dream come true right? But Galaxy ‘Alex’ Stern knows that nothing comes for free and this opportunity sure hasn’t but she will not let this slip away from her hands. At any cost.
But when there is a murder in the campus, it forces Alex to question whether magic is made for her and whether all of this is worth it. This raises a question – will she be able to survive in this world? Will she be able to navigate her way amongst dark spells, new responsibilities, old secrets, shady societies, untrustworthy authorities and growing powers? Read the book to find out…
My thoughts:
The crow series have been one of my all-time favorites. Hence when I saw this book from Leigh Bardugo, I knew I have to read it and let me tell it did not disappoint. As soon as I started reading it, I could not put it down. Tbh this book has everything – a gripping story, badass characters, magic, mystery and a fitting plot twist.
One thing I loved in this book as compared to other fantasy books is that here magic has consequences. When I say consequences, it doesn’t mean just ones where the characters somehow manage to find a loophole and get out of it. Here characters had to face some gruesome and cruel situations for their actions.
If this is not enough to convince you guys to read this book then I hope it will after the end of this.
Plot:
“If you were going to hell together, murder seemed like a good place to start”
Here you will witness an unlikely plot where the protagonist is already aware of her powers, she doesn't need to learn how to use them; she needs to learn how to protect herself from them. The plot is fresh, dark and intense. The plot revolves around our protogonist trying to find a balance between her truth and her lies, the magical world and normal world, her magical duties and her academics, maintain her true self and her facade. While she juggles around all of this, we see politics, dirty work of the societies, Yale campus, murder and everything in between.
What I liked about the plot is that it consists of lots of elements and this could have easily seemed cluttered but the way Leigh has beautifully weaved the plot, it looks effortless and we'll put together.
Characters:
“I let you die. To save myself, I let you die”
Alex is strong, beautiful and a badass. She is traumatized because of her past and the bad decisions in her life but is adamant to turn her life around. Her life at Yale gives her the clean slate to do so but her investigation with murder on campus and her secrets can put this life at jeopardy. One of the qualities I liked about Alex is how fiercely loyal she is to her people. She will protect them and stick for them no matter what. There are no limits which she won't cross for the people she loves. She is also a survivor and those instincts can be clearly seen throughout the book. This was the one quality that made me relate to her. There are few questionable decisions she makes, but with her being a survivor it makes sense for her to do those things.
“‘Gentlemen scholar’ seems like a good description for you”
Darlington is one character that I have been dying to talk someone about. If you need to learn how to make presence of a character felt without him being in the book, you will get that from him. He is such a charismatic, snobbish but by far the most adorable character in this book. I think adorable doesn’t do justice and if fictional characters could hear our emotions, Darlington would also feel the same. At first, I was very intrigued by him coz Alex in any of the chapters would just not shut up about him but then I quickly realized Alex, I get it. There is a lot of mystery to this character, where is he, what is he doing, what is he going through right now, why did he join Lethe, does he have any powers? There are so many questions around him, which will be answered eventually in the book. I think that’s what makes him a really interesting part of the book.
Other characters have their own flavours to add to this story. If you are looking for a dark plot, murder mystery with magic and complex traumatic characters with questionable decisions all mixed together in a concoction in form of a book then you know which book to go for. Let me know what are your views on this book and if you have any books in store for me to read or write further reviews on.

Y’ALL. I DID A THING.
So imagine this: you take a job with an insane level of difficulty, BUT you convince yourself that everything is going to be alright (spoiler: it's NOT) What's the job? Kill the scary crime lord (aka Killa Harkan), next get the bag, retire on a beach somewhere. Seems easy, right? WRONG.
Because:
🫦The target? Insanely hot. (You can't tell me otherwise!!!)
😨The job? Probably a trap. (No way!)
🤡Common sense? Nowhere to be found.
And thus begins "The Impossible Contract", aka “girlboss assassin gets caught in the most deranged game of cat and mouse with a dangerous man (who may or may not be flirting with her while ruining her life).
Chapter 1 includes:
⚔️A professional hitwoman making very unprofessional decisions
🎰A poker game where the stakes are unclear
💅Killa who knows exactly what he’s doing and is having way too much fun with it
🥵Unholy amounts of tension
🤯The protagonist realizing she might have made a terrible mistake but it’s TOO LATE NOW
So, if you love murder, mayhem, morally questionable flirting, the protogonist making bad choices, *whisper* eventual smut, then this one’s for you.

//thunder spoiler mention??
Now that a TNR arc becoming a thing, the next thing I want in WC is a "clans vs Starclan" kind of arc. I'm getting tired of Starclan getting away with their bs, manipulating and gaslighting cats into fighting one another for nothing. I want more than one cat to sit down and reflect on their lifestyle, and question themselves "Is this really the ideal cat lifestyle? Is Starclan really doing the right thing? "
And no, I don't want this to be a only-a-scene thing. I want this to be the theme of the arc. I want the protogonist/s to actively question themselves and the clan lifestyle. The clans lead a deranged way of life, constantly in war with one another, imposing their lifestyle in smaller groups, and looking down on any non-clan cat around. And yet, they still think this is the ideal cat lifestyle. I want change. I want those cats to review their own code, their own beliefs, and realize how their society is flawed. I want them to make changes for the better. Depend less/no longer depend on Starclan, respect outside cats, work together more often, creating a better lifestyle for everyone.
But I know Starclan wouldn't allow this to happen, because it would put the hierarchy in danger, and they would no longer have cats to manipulate. With the clans working together, they'd probably realize that maybe Starclan is the real problem. Without their puppets believing on them, they no longer have a reason to stick around and thus they would end being forgotten and fading away.
I know I'm probably being too harsh on Starclan, but god, sometimes it feels like they're real villain. I'm still bitter about the Leafpool-Squirrelflight thing. They basically manipulated the two of them and yet had the audacity of calling them out after all of that. They allowed ASHFUR in "because he loved too much". FRECKLEWISH?? DOES ANYONE REMEMBER FRECKLEWISH???? TL;DR: I just want a arc where cats fight their jerkass gods and improve their society.
but I know the Erins are too chicken to do that, so this'll probably only be a dream

𝒗𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒏 & 𝒅𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒂 .
❝ i did it. i finished my first book, and of course i wanted him to be the first person to read it. who else could it be ? he's been there through every late-night panic, every writer's block meltdown. it feels like the book belongs to him as much as it does to me. and yes, maybe i was hoping that he'd read between the lines and realize that the protogonist looks at her best friend with a love she can't find the strength to say out loud. that he'd notice the way their moments mirror our own. i poured so much of us into that story. the treehouse, the way he was my very first kiss. he came over today, toldme he'd finally finished it … and nothing. can you believe it ? not a single word about the ending, about them. i'm starting to think that maybe he already knows it, maybe him not acknowledging it is his way of protecting me, protecting our friendship. i don't think he feels the same way and it's for the best really, i don't think i could handle losing him forever. it's better to have him like this than not at all, right ? anyway, he's picking me up soon, i gotta go get ready. ❞

Jesus. I'm just thinking now, what if Moonpaw turns out to be complete crap in terms of character development or as a character in general?
I've seen about ten posts that say something like, "Ah! I love Moonpaw," man. We don't know her approximate colouring, we don't know what her personality is, we don't know what her post will be, I'm freaking out. Nothing against the theories, I even liked some of them, but damn it.... Everyone's expectations of the new protogonist are way too high. My biggest fear is that she'll turn out to be another shy, kind-hearted protagonist, who will be the next medic, God forbid. I'm afraid she'll be a cardboard cutout that will make me puke, fuck it.
I want something new and different from this series of books. I want variety. I want to believe in a new protoganist. I want to believe in a good character who can win my heart. But I can't believe in the Hunters. I've been disappointed too many times, as has some part of the fandom. I was torn by arc 7, specifically the Ashfur imposter. I didn't like the special edition about Squirrelflight, specifically the complete rewriting of some characters' personalities. I didn't like the special edition about Redtail, for the same reasons why I didn't like «Squirrelflight Hope». In short, this whole topic has me specifically sick of it.
Well, we have ship Moonpaw and Moonpool. 😀

Does he know that without the protogonist making mistake there would be no story???
There was a reviewer or commenter who said "I always keep track of how many mistakes the protagonist makes and after three, I stop reading the story and never look back".
I think about that person pretty frequently. We read for our own enjoyment, and therefore there's no wrong way to read a book so long as you're enjoying yourself, but ... maybe I don't actually believe that. Maybe there are wrong ways to read a book, and this guy found one.

i think before candy stopped posting she said that hope got her protagonist status because she was the ted’s daughter. i think her main ship was with landon, but it wasn’t very popular and she was mostly shipped with lizzie and josie.
Hahaha, so she agreed? She agreed that hope was the protogonist? 😆
Oh, candy, so predictable lol and I never heard of that boy lmao. So was he hope's endgame?

This short story examines a complex network of exploitation and manipulation in addition to the struggle for identify and familial relationships.Deeply held worries are expressed on love sacrifice and the aftermath of being used for personal benefit.A never-ending cycle of debt and misery emerges from the protogonists quest for love and support in this novel that addresses the harsh reality of exploitative relationships.
The story emphasizes the terrible hurt that results from being mistreated and left behind, especially in intimate relationships. The poisoning and manipulation of those they trusted led to the protogonists profound debt and self doubt which overshadowed their yearning for a genuine relationship.
It also sheds light on the intergenerational effects of this struggle by highlighting the emotional toll it takes on the children left behind and the challenges of parenting in different countries. The authors analysis of their childrens behavior highlight the cycle of exploitation in which kids despite schooling imitate the same pursuit of fictitious prosperity and exploit their parents struggles possibly in an.
the protogonists cry for defense and remembrance coupled with his fear of being taken advantage of again underline his vulnerability and desperation.Their struggle to escape the cycle if exploitation and value family ties over financial gain highlights the story stragic theme.

Can I talk about the fact that I played KH2 before any other KH game which made the prologue so much more devastating because he was the only protogonist I knew and I spent the whole rest of the game mourning Roxas endlessly
Not to be dramatic or anything but the KH2 prologue is one of the best video game things in the history of forever
