Was thinking about my last reblog and god Catholics are so weird. Like the first time I went to a different church I was like. Hey where’s the body? And they said what body. Why would we have him still on the cross, he is risen so that would be weird. And I said oh. Yeah we usually have him gore and all up there.

I was trying to find one that looked like the one I grew up with. These are similar except uh for some reason ours could flash us if you knew where to look. And mine had a lot more blood.

Craziest part? Our school was connected to the church, so a couple times a week kindergarteners would just be chanting and worshiping the giant bloody body 😭

Obviously I like Daniel a lot and I think Michael Shanks is a really good actor but episodes about him can be pretty mid tbh...it's like he's great until they try to have him actually feeling strong emotions lolol then it always feels kind of off like there's something missing. the fact that Thornton and Mulligan were gonna pin the murder on two black young adults that came from the city that just happened to be there at the worst time, Saga having to assure them that she's not gonna let them be thrown in jail for something they clearly didn't do, the manuscript page that describes that their plan was ruined because Saga is leading the investigation and "people like them always stick together".

the worst part of it is not knowing if they were always like that or if they started acting like that because of what Scratch was doing to the story. if they were like that before the events of the game that would mean they've always just been racist, but if they're like that cause of Scratch then, well, that's not really surprising considering he's just the fucking Devil. of course he would use shit like race against a competent black woman who knows what she's talking about.

Random childhood memory popped into my head today and felt like putting it down here. Growing up, my stepdad made his own colloidal silver with electrolysis, silver rods, and a mason jar full of water. Whenever I'd get sick, which was often, he would take droppers of this stuff and force me to drink it. Tasted foul. How am I still kicking.
