Choosing the Perfect Protein Powder Bottle: A Comprehensive Guide
Introduction
In the world of fitness and nutrition, having the right equipment can make a significant difference in your routine. One such essential item is the protein powder bottle. Whether you're preparing for a workout or replenishing your body post-exercise, the right protein powder bottle can enhance your experience by ensuring your shake is perfectly mixed, easy to carry, and convenient to consume. This article will guide you through everything you need to know about choosing the ideal protein powder bottle.
What is a Protein Powder Bottle?
A protein powder bottle, often referred to as a shaker bottle, is a container specifically designed for mixing protein powders with liquids like water, milk, or juice. These bottles usually feature a secure lid, a spout for drinking, and a mixing mechanism to ensure a smooth, lump-free shake.

Eating Habits
List of headcannons when it comes to his eating habits, according to my opinion.
1. Simple, no-fuss meals: Ghost prefers basic, hearty meals with minimal flair. Things like grilled chicken, steak, or a sandwich. He's more about sustenance than flavour.
2. Protein-heavy diet: He prioritizes high-protein meals to keep up his strength. Lean meats, eggs, and protein shakes are staples in his diet.
3. Tea over everything: Ghost drinks tea like it’s water. He prefers English Breakfast Tea, and it's often the first thing he reaches for in the morning.
4. On-the-go eater: He’s used to grabbing quick meals between missions or even eating on the move. Protein bars, jerky, or simple rations are common in his kit.
5. Cold baked beans from the tin: When he’s in the field or in a rush, Ghost has no problem cracking open a tin of baked beans and eating them cold. It’s quick, easy, and gets the job done.
6. Avoids processed junk: While he doesn’t care for gourmet meals, he steers clear of overly processed or junk food. He sees food as fuel and tends to avoid anything that might make him feel sluggish.
7. Coffee drinker: Despite his love for tea, Ghost also has a soft spot for a strong cup of coffee, especially black coffee. It provides a calming moment in the chaos of his life.
8. Rare indulgence in spicy food: Every once in a while, Ghost enjoys a spicy kick in his meals, especially when he can find a good chilli or hot sauce.
9. No-nonsense about breakfast: Breakfast for Ghost is usually something quick and effective, like oatmeal with nuts, scrambled eggs, or even cold baked beans straight from the tin if he's on the go.
10. Prefers to eat alone: He’s not one for big social meals. Ghost often eats in solitude, especially when in the field or at the base. It gives him a moment to think and decompress.
11. Hydration is key: He drinks plenty of water, especially during missions. Staying hydrated is essential, and he’s always got a water bottle nearby.
12. Doesn't like sweets: Ghost isn’t into sugary foods or desserts. If offered, he’ll decline politely or simply pass them on to someone else.
13. MRE master: Having spent so much time in the field, he’s developed a knack for making MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) more palatable. He knows how to combine ingredients to make them taste a bit better than the standard fare.
15. Doesn’t drink alcohol often: Ghost rarely drinks, preferring to stay sharp. But when he does, it’s a stiff whiskey, neat, no mixers, no nonsense.
14. Rare moments of comfort food: Every now and then, when he’s feeling nostalgic or off-duty, he might indulge in something comforting, like a hearty shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, or even a hot cuppa with biscuits.
16. Highly disciplined portions : Ghost eats in strict portions, never over-indulging, knowing that he needs to stay in top physical condition for his missions.

Mode of Infiltration: Consumables
Eating and drinking are part of daily human activities. You cannot just suddenly decided to not eat. Well....you can, but you cannot do that forever. You have to eat and drink, whether it's home-made, to-go from a quick fast-food chain or some local diner and even fancy restaurant. That's just the reality
So, it is very convenient for these extraterrestrial being to slip itself in between human daily intake.
They simply played the long game, waiting for the unaware human to consume them instead without knowing that something sinister is already hiding inside their carton of milk, crawling inside their salad bowl, mixed in with the pancake batter previously made by infected individuals or tub of protein powder already tainted with extraterrestrial being that can break themselves down into tiny particles that finely integrated itself with the powder.
The possibilities are endless, which means human are very vulnerable from all angles when it comes to this mode of infiltration and the alien tend to be very swift at adapting to their human vessels, even smoothly stepping up to the role the real one left behind
And with these kinds of infiltration, it usually leads to a domino effect of widespread infiltration as the alien merged themselves into a whole batch of cooking or worse, an entire diner, and even worse than that, a whole production line.
For a simple case, Rodney here just prepared himself for a packed day filled with gym sesh and his overtime work session in the office. Clearly he needs breakfast, so his girlfriend for 3 years, Nikki, stepped into the kitchen and prepared something simple.
Several spoonful of omelette with a rather weird taste made by Rodney's lovely girlfriend to fuel his day suddenly choked him to the point of asphyxiation. Turns out, she didn't just made it with love, but also with fine dusting of black speck which already infected her brain when she went out with her girls for some brunch in the up-and-coming yet-infected local joint.
Rodney would be gasping for breath, fighting for his life, but his partner just smiled eerily at him instead of calling 9-1-1, waiting for "her" friend to take control of his body
In other cases, Cal might noticed that something is wrong with his protein powder once he tasted it. But, it's a little too late to reverse anything as instead of opening his mouth to spit out the shake, the alien that blended into the protein powder froze his lips and forced its way into his throat and nose.
Unable to scream for help, he can only endure his fate as he can sense the invading presence crawling to his brain. Mere minutes later, he's excitedly make another batch of protein shakes that he will give to his fellow gym-mate.
The closest mate, Jack, literally waited for Cal in the backyard and supposedly witnessed the whole ordeal. Yet Jack is a little bit distracted with the sultry chat from his girlfriend, his eyes focused to his phone instead to his flailing friend. Needless to say, when Cal offered his shake to Jack while trying to hide his mischievous smirk, the thirsty Jack eagerly accepted the offer and chugged the whole drink, his body instantly convulsed in the process as he managed to slightly opened his mouth to scream for help only for his hand already taken over by the alien to betray him as it dunked out more liquid as more of the infiltrator literally filled his mouth and throat to the brim. When the alien seized full bodily control, Jack smirked back at Cal as both of them eyed to go back to the gym and infect any unlucky attendant that they can take control
As it turns out, the whole batch of the powder is infected because one of the product mixer, a chemist, created the formulation with a whole colony of slimy alien from outer space mixed in to the other ingredients as part of the base formula of the eventual powder. He was taken over during his hiking trip and from then on, his goal is to just simply ensured the readiness of the new settlement for his species. And lucky for it, the young hunk worked for a company that certainly can help his new extraterrestrial friends to blend into human society. After all, not like anyone would expect a surprise from inside their sealed protein powder......

Hello, I am going out for a friend's birthday tonight, and the last time I did that, I did drunk karaoke and then sent you NikPrice asks at like 5 am. So to counter that, instead of getting overly drunk and Scottish, I'm gonna be nice now.
Your writing really helped me get into the COD fandom, especially the NikPrice kind of things. It'll never cease to amaze me how many exceptional writers you'll find so long as you look in the right places. It also helped me gain the confidence to make my own blog and start posting my nonsense.
I also appreciated the Happy New Year because I did follow the advice and get plastered, the only reason I'm staying anon is because I refuse to ask this on my main because that's where my shitposting is and I can't be known for that lmao.
Anyway, if you get a NikPrice ask later on that's a lot less coherent then that's me again, just seven drinks in.
Have a good day :]
I think I have sussed out who this is and I am so glad you started posting. You're a gift to the fandom. I hope you had an amazing night with your mates and make sure you drink a pint of water before hitting the sack.
As for my night as a "bar tender", I have been reduced to making sex on the beach in my protein shake bottles because all the other shakers have been used for other drinks. Also, I ran out of ice because the ice machine got rinsed. So really I am drinking lukewarm alcohol with Morrison's own brand mixer (pineapple and orange juice).

BIRTHDAY CAKE ICE CREAM PIE
(Or gainer shake and a cookie.)
1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough (easy cheat! Grocery stores have this in the dairy isle.)
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon multicolored candy sprinkles
2 1/4 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup evaporated milk (from 5-oz can)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray; lightly flour.
Step 2
In medium bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir in 1/4 cup of the candy sprinkles. Press dough evenly in bottom and up side of pie plate.
Step 3
Bake 15 to 19 minutes or until golden brown. Place pie plate on cooling rack. Using flat bottom of drinking glass, gently press center of crust to flatten slightly. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Step 4
In large bowl, mix 1 3/4 cups of the whipping cream, the evaporated milk and salt. Beat with electric mixer on high speed 2 to 3 minutes or until mixture thickens. On low speed, slowly add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla; beat on high speed 3 to 4 minutes or until soft peaks form. Fold in 1/4 cup of the candy sprinkles. Pour whipped cream mixture over cookie crust in pie plate; spread evenly.
Step 5
In small bowl, using clean beaters, beat remaining 1/2 cup whipping cream and the powdered sugar with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Place whipped cream mixture in decorating bag fitted with star tip. Pipe whipped cream decoratively around edges and in center of pie. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon candy sprinkles. Freeze at least 8 hours or overnight.
Step 6
Remove from freezer 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
Gainer shake: Just make the recipe without the dough, add whatever liquid you like.

Smoothie: a very silly treatise
In my opinion, the perfect smoothie has 3 ingredients; these being bananas, milk, and spices. (Perhaps I should have said categories of ingredient!) I have several thoughts to share on this:
1. The equipment. There are many ways to process foods into a mush, and some are marketed specifically for use in smoothification! My personal choice, however, is a stick mixer. It does the job and it's handy for sauces and soups also. In terms of container; I use a tall, cylindrical plastic container (jug? vase? I'm not sure. It's food safe, anyway) with a diameter of about 8cm. If you use a different one, you might end up with more or less milk than I use - but my measuring methods are vague and not particularly repeatable and frankly, who cares.
2. The bananas. Bananas used for smoothie should be bordering on over-ripe. Ideally, they should be past the point where you don't want to take them for lunch (because you know they have insufficient structural integrity to survive your bag); but before the point where you put them in the freezer, thinking (optimistically) that one day they will be used for banana bread. Their role is to provide sweetness and texture. You can use 2, or 3, or however many your heart desires! Peel them, break them in half (they may do this themselves), and put them in the jug/container/whatever.
3. The milk. You can use whatever sort you like! When there's milk in our house, it's usually "light" cow's milk, so I use that. Personally I haven't found a non-dairy milk with a taste I like - because I don't like change, and I assume it would be very hard to get a plant milk to taste EXACTLY like cow's milk. Lactose free would be fine - you're not likely to notice the extra sweetness in something like a smoothie. In terms of amount, I like to mostly cover the bananas and leave about a dollar coin's height of banana sticking out. What's that, 3cm? Probably.
4. The spices. Which ones you use is up to you, but make your ancient ancestors proud. You want to use ground spices - the stick mixer won't grind things for you, and it looks pretty when they go into the milk! I always use chilli; often I also add cinnamon and ginger, paprika can also be good. Don't be afraid of using too much (though don't be excessive) - if your smoothie isn't brown at the end, you could Definitely have added more spices. Without the spices, a banana smoothie is OK - but rather bland. Then again, some people are wierd and don't like flavour in their food. They're wrong, but they're allowed to be wrong. You don't need spices! (But I think they're pretty good).
Now, some things ARE wrong - especially, adding more ingredients. Things you may be tempted to add, and shouldn't:
1. Mango. Why? The texture is viscous enough, the smoothie is sweet enough, and I don't think you're adding much to the flavour. You want a mango smoothie? Make one, don't hijack a banana smoothie.
2. Berries, or any other sort of fruit. See above - if you want those in your smoothie, you're making a different sort of smoothie and should leave the bananas out. As a side note, I'm not a fan of a mango smoothie, and I'd prefer to just eat the component fruits of almost any other smoothie.
3. Chocolate or coffee. They might complement the banana flavour, but again - if you want those in your drink, make a drink where they're the focus.
4. Honey. Why? It's sweet (and thick) enough already from the banana. Use the honey in tea or biscuits or something instead.
5. Oats. Again, why? The texture is perfectly fine already.
6. Any form of extra protein. There are other, yummier ways to get protein if you need it. If you're the sort of person who needs the extra protein in their smoothie, do Not be fooled - a liquid breakfast/post workout will Not sustain you for long enough! Take the time to EAT something, and you'll feel better overall, and food is delicious.
7. Vegetables or vitamins. See above - enjoy your smoothie, enjoy food, and get them somewhere else.
8. Ice. Your drink is a frappé now. By definition, it is no longer a smoothie.
9. Anything else. You surprise and confuse me; but if by some miracle I can eat whatever you're mixing in, I may yet be convinced.
Finally, if your bananas HAVE got to the "freeze them before they smell and make the other fruit go off" stage, or you're adding in frozen banana for whatever reason; remember that frozen banana is stickier than fresh banana! You may want to add more milk to balance this.
I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me about some of this. That's fine! You're wrong, but you're allowed to be wrong (as long as you don't try to make your Smoothie Abominations near me, or feed them to me). I hope that someone at least finds this half as entertaining as it was to write!

Having a protein drink is a reward after lifting weights. I’ve tried a few different brands and they all have one thing in common - they don’t mix/dissolve well. No matter how much I shake them, or what kind of ice I use, most of the powder stays in small clumps and floats to the top leaving a watery gruel at the bottom. The expensive, pre packaged protein drinks like Muscle Milk don’t do this. I even tried using a handheld submersible mixer. No luck.
Elementary school science finally came to the rescue yesterday when I mixed the powder with hot water. The powder dissolved completely and stayed dissolved after 2 hours in the fridge to cool down. So that’s my ‘hack’ for today - plan ahead, use hot water and get a smooth protein drink without clumps.

I asked about the milk because I know the White Russian exists lol. Is cream really that different from whole milk in an alcoholic drink?
To understand curdling, we've gotta go down to the chemical level. Standard disclaimer: I'm no molecular gastronimist, and the things I'm explaining are a simplification.
Anyways. milk is made up of a slurry of different things. Much like cream, it's water and fat. Unlike cream though, milk also has vitamins and proteins.
Proteins are relatively fragile, as far as molecules go. When you heat them too much, or put them in the wrong pH, or introduce any of a number of molecules (ethyl alcohol included), they denature. The chains of amino acids unwind, losing their structure and purpose. In mixtures, this often leads to clotting, which is just those strands getting knotted up with each other on a macro scale.
Cream can denature, it is true. Leave a drink with cream long enough and it'll do funky things. But milk clots significantly faster. Techniques such as Milk Punch rely on this, using milk curd to flocculate suspended particles out of a cocktail during shaking.
Even stabilized creams like Bailey's can curdle in the wrong environment. The cement mixer shot, for example, puts Irish cream in an acidic environment and mixes it thoroughly until it curdles.
But yeah, creams are much less likely to turn out weird when used in drinks.

What is in my gym bag?!
Welcome back to my blog! Today I will be discussing gym accessories and gym products often advertised in the media.
As a highschool student with 2 jobs, oftentimes I have to squeeze in my workout right after school, right after work or any other time where I was “conveniently out”. My school day typically begins with me carrying out my backpack, school lunch, work lunch and clothes, and my massive gym bag to my car since I won’t get the chance to get home throughout the day.
What could you even possibly have in your gym bag? To be fair, when I started working out, I would show up to the gym in my gym clothes from my house, with nothing but my phone, my airpods and a water bottle. As my fitness journey progressed over the years, it seems that my gym essentials had evolved too. Here are my gym essentials as a 17 year old girl with a loaded schedule:
My gym shoes! No I do not mean powerlifting shoes, I am not a powerlifter, but I mean my converse. Personally, although converse aren’t my ideal shoe outside of the gym, they are my favorite in the gym, I have white and black! Converse can be stylish, with the different styles and colors and overall very large selection, however since these have been my O.G shoes for the gym, it seems that I always associate them with the gym… Being flat and light (not the platforms), they offer incredible stability for lifting purposes. It is important to find shoes that accommodate the natural shape of the foot for optimal performance. Fun fact, some lifters even prefer to deadlift and squat barefoot, for the reason being that the natural human foot shape is ideal for balance.
Here are my "not-so-white" converse at the gym, since I wear them everyday.
Pre Workout or energy drinks… Sometimes my days are over 12 hours long away from home, which can be both emotionally and physically draining. For that reason, occasionally the consumption of caffeine can significantly improve both my performance, mood, motivation and my experience in the gym. I used to consume this product every day, however I soon realized that the negative side effects of daily consumption can be mentally detrimental... Especially for those who have ADHD or anxiety, the caffeine amplifies the effects of the disorders. Now that I have limited not only the frequency of consumption but also the amount of caffeine I do love these drinks. Some of my favorites are Batch 27, specifically the orange creamsicle flavor and Monster Tropical Punch…
Lifting belt… I have the lifting belt by Upper Gear in the color lavender, which is cute and supportive. Lifting belts are used by lifters who want or require more back and core support creating a superficial brace in order to prevent injuries and improve performance. This is absolutely not required in the gym and if anything learning how to brace is very important. More experienced lifters typically use them, as they already know how to brace themselves yet add extra support.
Lifting straps, I love my lifting straps! Lifting straps are affordable, come in different styles and colors and help tremendously, whether it be to grow muscles or gain strength. Mine are camo from amazon and are for sure one of my essentials. Using lifting straps helps lifters who do not have great grip strength, or really want to isolate a muscle group while eliminating limiting factors. I have always had very frail and small wrists, ultimately limiting my grip strength. However ever since I have been using lifting straps I am able to push out for reps, and increase muscle-mind connection.
Helimix shaker! Every lifter knows the nasty smell of protein from an unwashed shaker, or the annoying sound of the metal mixer ball inside. Ever since I discovered the helimix, cleaning it has been simplified, and no more metal ball clinking. The helimix is a shaker available on amazon, and is said to have a scientifically explained shape that naturally creates a spiral of the liquid and thus mixing the contents smoothly. Some say it is a placebo effect, however I believe that the helimix truly mixes my contents successfully. I have the pink one, as well as the teal one, and use them for both my protein shakes, pre workout, and to carry my other daily beverages.
I also carry some “not necessarily gym-related” items, such as makeup, deodorant, a hair brush, and most importantly my beats! I mean yes, my beats are so important for my lifts and I could not do it without them, however they are also a huge part of my whole life… Any given chance I will be listening to music. Which is why I excluded it from my gym essentials list. They are an essential part of my life, period. To conclude this blog, no gym accessories are actually required to reach your goals, it is important to discover what works for you. Nothing in fitness is “one size fits all.”

MISSION: MONT BLANC
He should moderate his consumption of sweets, after all, it does not bring any benefits.
Although that doesn't stop him from sticking the spoon in his brother's Mont Blanc again. Ran still had at least 2 hours of sleep left. His brother wouldn't notice if he bought him a new one at that time slot.
10 am was a good time. Rindou thought of it as the in-between between getting up early and getting up late. He still had time to exercise and go down to the grocery store that was two blocks from their apartment.
Shaking the mixer to make his daily protein shake, he looked at the garbage bags that were beginning to pile up at the foot of the American bar. Both, he and his brother, were definitely pigs, and the floor looked like a pigsty. He closed his eyes and let the liquid he had been mixing run down the inside of his throat. He would worry about taking the garbage down later.
He passed Ran's room walking down the hall. He knew that he had broken whatever he had with the person he had been dating for a few weeks because the time he spent sleeping was more than usual. And those were big words. Had he shattered a girl's heart? Who knows. Had he given a boy false hopes? Maybe. In the end, who his brother went to bed with was none of his business. Or at least, that's what the older man repeated to him when a romantic question was uttered inside their apartment. It was amazing how Rindou knew everything about his brother but felt like he didn't know him at all.
When he finally closed the door of his room, he took out the weights he kept under the bed. He thought about putting some music on the speaker, but memories of the last time Ran was woken up on a bad day plagued his mind and he decided to drop the idea. He still had to go and get the damned Mont Blanc. He sighed resignedly and placed the wireless headphones he had given himself as a gift for Christmas over his ears.
The clock on the iPhone read 11:30 when Rindou got out of the shower. He hadn't been able to complete the exercise routine he had planned, but he would do it before going to sleep. Closing the front door carefully, he made his way down the five floors to the lobby of the building. Ran wasn't awake yet, so the mission to go for the cake was progressing properly.
The good thing about living in Roppongi was that in the morning you could walk around peacefully, but at night you had a party atmosphere on every street corner. Rindou loved that. He felt like a fish in the water swimming between neon lights and party clothes. He had always been more reserved than his brother -not shy-, but with one drink too many, it was very easy to unleash his more sociable personality. He wasn't too proud of it, but admitting the truth was better than getting stuck in denial.
