This is our FIRST event as Sweet Tea Social Club, and we’re on a mission to create spaces for queer joy in the Triad area. Urgent Cry for help for LGBTQIA:I am a trans refugee living in South Sudan, and my life is in constant danger. I am reaching out with an urgent plea for help because I am facing unbearable discrimination, violence, and a lack of basic necessities.

South Sudan is extremely homophobic and unsafe for LGBTQ+ people. Every day,i live in fear of being attacked or harmed simply for being who i am . I am denied work because of my identity, leaving me without an income to survive. I struggle to access food, shelter, and medical care, and I have no support system. I am desperate for assistance whether it is shelter, financial help, medical aid, or a connection to organizations that can help me relocate to a safer place. I cannot continue living under these unsafe conditions, and I am crying out for any support available.

If you or any organization can help me, please reach out. I am in urgent need of a lifeline. Thank you for taking the time to read my plea. Any assistance, no matter how small, could save my life.
