I've mentioned that something was brewing in my cauldron... here it is! This is a 10ml roll-on bottle of protection oil, I have yet to find a platform to sell these on, also I'm not sure about the price... how much would you guys pay for it? Please let me know in the comments 😊 thank you!

My Protection Oil 1.0

Yesterday I made my first spell oil, and naturally it was a protection oil. I used Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs to look up correspondences of herbs and just used what I had around the house already.

Ingredients:

Vegetable Oil

Basil

Bay Leaf

Cinnamon

Clove

Garlic

Parsley

Sage

Rosemary

Salt

Vitamin E

Black Cake Glitter

Positives:

I loved the process of making the oil! It was very calming and therapeutic to compile the ingredients and cook the oil. Also, it has been super convenient to use when lighting a quick protective candle.

Negatives:

I didn't love the consistency of the vegetable oil and next time will use olive oil instead. I also want to add some black mica powder to make the oil a more solid color.

Conclusion:

Loved it and am looking forward to dipping my toe into some other spell oils!

Added Holy Water to a protection oil?

So for St. Michael Archangel's feast day I made a protection oil that included, of course, oil and herbs, but I added some Holy Water to bless it- and to keep it from going bad I also threw a little vodka in there.

A couple days later and I just saw a post on here about making sure the herbs you add to oils are completely dried otherwise it can cause botulism??? Am I okay?? I'm not gonna eat it I just want to put it on candles, maybe wear it like a perfume for protection. Does the vodka have my back? LOL help

✨ Spell Oils 101 ✨

Spell oils are probably one of my most used tools & most popular items in the shop i own. I wanted to do a quick dive for folks who are new to them and how to use them in your practice. 🖤

What are they..? Spell oils are tools for spellwork. In simple terms they’re ritually made herbal infusions in a carrier oils (sometimes with fragrance added) with a specific intended energy behind them. Every practitioner who makes them has their own process for how exactly they’re done. You can then use the oil in your day-to-day as well as rituals as energetic boosts. Theyre used to make your spells more “potent” by adding in another layer that matches your intention. Just like you would add crystals, candles, herbs or other magical items into a spell. They’re an additional layer to your magic.

How do I use them..? The best thing about oils is there are endless possibilities. As far as your creativity lets you roam. Most commonly they are used to anoint candles, added to spell jars & ritual baths, mixed with herbs, used to enchant items, put directly on the skin, added to your hair/lotions, used on your hands or objects before a working, given as offerings, etc. I know witches who use them on their vails and clothing, or add it to their hair dye. Others will enchant items to be used in rituals or carried in their day-to-day. Unfortunately Instagram won’t let me post a massive list of all the ways to use them, but hopefully this gives you some insight.

Some practitioners make oils with incredibly specific intentions, but even within that energy you can use them for many kinds of workings. A specialized domination oil can sometimes be perfect in a money working for a new job. Mixing different kinds of oils is always a beautiful way to layer the energy needed for your working too! You’re a witch- go crazy with what feels right. ✨

Protection oil against malevolent forces -- I infused jojoba oil with herbs with protective properties. It was honestly very pungent because of the garlic, but some extra rosemary oil resolved the problem! This was made to order, but if you need something like this, dm me :)

This remarkable painting by the younger artist depicts a scene from Nahum Tate’s late seventeenth-century adaptation of William Shakespeare’s King Lear, when Edgar - son of the Earl of Gloucester - darts in from the right disguised as a madman in order to protect Cordelia, whom he will later marry, and her confidante Arante from two ruffians. The actress Susannah Maria Cibber made her first appearance as Cordelia in 1746 and was, at the time of her death in 1766, the highest paid actress at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, earning only slightly less than the celebrated actor David Garrick.

How to enchant jewelry!

Hello there my beautiful Glamour witch! I see you have a lot of beautiful necklaces/rings/bracelets that you want to enchant! Have no fear, here is how you can do so!

There are many ways to enchant jewelry just like there are many ways to enchant anything. You can use oils, moonlight, sigils, spells, etc. Each piece of jewelry will need a different way to enchant it, so here are the steps you can take to do so. 

Moonlight: Moonlight is a good way to cleanse your jewelry and to enchant it with a feminine energy. Sunlight is good for masculine energy, so please utilize both of these methods. Feminine energy can help you stay calm, collected, and “soft” while the masculine energy can help you demand attention and respect. You CAN mix jewelry that has been enchanted by both, but please do not enchant the same item with both (it may just cancel out instead of doubling.) Oils: Essential oils are wonderful in moderation. Do not soak your accessories in it, but a few tiny drops won't really hurt anything, it would be like using body spray on them (which you can also do!) Use scent associations to help enchant your jewelry like this. 

Sigils: You can create enchanting sigils for your jewelry and place them in boxes or bags to hold in the intentions. 

Color Magic: For jewelry that has color on it, use those colors and meditate with your accessory to add intention and enchant them. Please see a list of colors and what their meanings are to help you with this path.
