Is anyone claiming that it is? Rings of Power is currently the number one show on Amazon. No one’s saying it was bigger than Fallout, which was the number one show in Amazon when it was released. Also need to add some context to those numbers. That 65 million was based on 16 days and 8 episodes as Fallout dropped its entire season in one go. Rings of Power's 40 million is based on 11 days and only 4 episodes as it releasing weekly. Fallout's 11 day total would've been something like 44 million, still ahead of Rings of Power, but not massively and again that's because it had more episode available to watch. Of course, the only source we have on this is Amazon itself. As with all streamers we need to take what they say with a pinch of salt. You can never really be sure what is and isn't a success with them. Even cancellation isn't a sure sign of failure because they will axe a hit show just to save money and avoid wage increases for cast and crew.

Inspected an apartment rental today that was $500 pw, looked like it should be $200 pw if this was 5 years ago, and was furnished with a framed psalm verse from the bible. We are in strange times.

While we have the rich 'King Charles' and his class of parasites in Britain, the ordinary citizen can't even afford to pay the rent anymore.

Profiteering landlords are now raising the rent every time there is an increase in the bank rate... which could be several times a year, instead of an annual rent rise... in a rental market that already makes it hard to afford even a basic roof over your head.

Britain is a corrupt tax shelter for wealthy fatcats, thanks to the Tory (Conservative) Party government since 2010.

Thirteen years of austerity, Brexit, a cost of living crisis, sewage in our rivers and seashores, an underfunded healthcare system, no affordable dentists, no affordable homes, lousy pay... but plenty of tax cuts for the rich Tory cronies, knighthoods and lordships for their pals and donors, and fat paychecks for Tory MPs from their 2nd jobs as 'consultants' to wealthy corporations.

And yet people voted them in...

How stupid can the British people be? Like turkeys voting for Christmas.

Sick of the ‘old money’ discourse on tiktok. Sophia Richie’s wedding was not ‘stealth wealth’, ‘quiet luxury’ whatever. It was literally in Vogue! She posted tiktoks about it! No amount of cable knit vests, tennis skirts or ‘elegance’ will get you into those circles. going to say something not even controversial but i feel like having to spare the first warden shouldn't be the only way you get Isseya's griffon feather and that ending of the quest. Especially if you are playing the warden background I can think of other ways.
