Ahhh, Helium day… A day like no other in the deercowsheepie household…

It's a day Eli bashfully looks forward to every year, given that the forest prince gets to set about on one of his more… eccentric rituals! Massive floor dragging tummy sloshing about as he shuffles off for his daily waddle throughout his glenn, that pudge-filled promande huffed and puffed through with a sense of purpose!

Heavy hoofsteps echoing across the glade, THWUMPHing and sending the earth beneath him trembling as he squeezes that enormity through the foilage, lard laden rolls dimpling and pancaking as they're wedged and unwedged from the thicket in turn, spilling and sagging and pooling to fill and overflow any bit of space it can find as that underbelly brushes through the underbrush. Finally coming to rest at a peculiar little clearing, because you see! 'round this time of year there's a strange little corner of the forest burgeoning out of control - a trait soon to be shared by a certain blubberbuck/doughydough!

Peculiar little puffshrooms spewing spores high into the air from the feet of a thicket of towering sufflo trees, colorful fruits hanging ripe and heavy from their branches, plump as can be… Unassuming as they may seem though, they propagate in quite the interesting way! These plants have developed a bit of a symbiotic relationship

Growing at the base of the sufflo tree, these mushrooms feast upon dead leaves and over ripened fruits falling down from the canopy overhead, puffing out clouds of midlly psychoactive spores that cloud the mind and rouse the appetite of any who inhale! Once under the spore's thrall, the newly gluttonous mark makes their way to feast upon the sufflo fruit, only to be met with quite the surprise! Nestled in close with the fruit's seedpods are also little nodules filled to the brim with highly condensed helium. As soon as the victim takes a bite, these nodules burst open and proceed to unload all of that lovely little payload directly into their maw, and in turn, their stomach, scattering seeds to rest all over them alongside the puffshroom spores!

….And as their victim begins to helplessly drift away on the wind, so ballooned out as they are, they help spread seed and spore alike, raining them down upon the earth below! An ecological wonder Eli is oh so admirably keen on making himself an example of! For you see, if left unchecked during their peak season, these plants can rapidly spread far beyond control. So the forest prince, steward of his domain as he is, takes it upon himself to perform a bit of population control! Every year he waddles on over to their territory in his forest, and willingly harvests the sufflo fruit in an effort to Limit the puffshroom's food source while also taking some sufflo seeds out of the rotation in one fell swoop!

….Unfortunately one can resist the effects of the puffshroom so long while picking bushels and bushels of fruit! Deity as he is, its only inevitable that his penchant for indulgence overtakes him and he chows down on a fruit with a resounding HOMPH Before rapidly ballooning outward!

Massive globes of doughy facefat swiftly swelling as a gale of helium is jettisoned directly into that flabby maw of his! HISSSSSSSSing loudly as it spills into that greedy grumblegut, packing in as a seemingly ceaseless stream! billowing forth unburdened, bloating out the blubberbuck's belly, those plush doughy folds and creases pulled increasingly taut, curves growing ever more pronounced as the crest of that frame advances forth, rounding out to increasingly cartoonish proportions…

Letting loose a muffled "mmmrrrrph!!" while he sinks into the sides of his own form, helium filled tonnage surging forth to consume and overwhelm him, stance forced wide as he grows ever lighter on his feet! Hooves buried in the bulk of that stretched hide, plump overfilled rolls bouncing about bouyantly, overstretched expanse of deerblimp plush enough to still have give even when rendered a helplessly wriggling orb… Drifting up and bouncing against the trees as the helium reaches critical mass, enourmous sphere of a body carried into the air, an errant tree branch prodding deep, perhaps a little too deep! Swollen sides ominously CRRRRRRRKING as it sinks in - pushed against that pillowy overfilled hide, helplessly buried hooves wiggling clumsily, desperately trying to grasp on and wrest himself free!

Miraculously managing to find purchase, carefully dislodging himself from the branch while hanging on for dear life as his foothooves drift up over his head, airborne enormity turning him over on himself! Now that he's drifted up over the main sporecloud and managed to find an anchor to hold onto his head'll clear and he can deflate on his own time! But until then he's gonna spend the next few hours stuck up there….

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife, or husband.

This sole concept plagued Bella Swans mind. She was the newest arrival in Forks Hertfordshire and was bound to meet a many suitors. Prepared was a sentiment she had not while her carridge rode in through the main road. Before she had lived with her widowed mother in the counrtyside, but was now being sent into society as per her mothers wishes. ‘Darling you know not a soul your age, we must find you a match.’ Thus, she was sent off to reside with her father during the upcoming social season. 

            By no means was Ms Swan not in awareness of Forks, she had made a fair amount of visits during the summers. Midst her visitations she had made the acquaintance of a Charles Bingley. Prior to being grown, they were playmates. In later years Bella was rendered rather found of his calling on her. This matter was no different. A few days upon her arrival the expected had occurred.

            ‘It means a great deal to me seeing you here again for a prolonged rendezvous’ said he, in an agreeable greeting. They had decided on taking a promande in a pleasant park nearby. Her father, Charlie Swan, sat in on their reunion, for it was the propre thing to do. Throughout their exchange Mr Bingley continued to insist on her appearance at his ball. She was quite hesitant since she had no close companions other than Mr Bingley, and he would be occupied hosting throughout the evening. His hammering persistence gave way at her reluctance, and she feebly insured of her being there. Upon many other topics of conversations, one that was very prominent was a vague introduction of all the relevant families and people. Several of which happened to be promenadingin the park alongside them.

Abruptly the sky filled with gray and a sense of dreariness had appeared in the park. A ensemble of pasty, morbidly dressed figures emerged and commenced their own promanade. Sunken eyes, sharp feature and all of them handsome in their own right. Ms Swan had paused in awe. One gentleman in particular had earned Ms Swan notice, he possessed a sense of reform and mystery. She was entirely enticed and raptured. ‘M-Mr Bingley, are you in fellowship with t-that family’ she meekly pondered, directing his attention to the bunch.  In a conscience manner, Mr Bingley had informed Bella of the Cullen family and their immense fortunes.Similarly to Ms Swan, they were recent arrivals in Forks. ‘It seems as though Edward Cullen, a man of excellent breeding and inheritance, has caught your eye’ Mr Bingley proclaimed slyly. ‘I must confess, I went through painstaking efforts to get them to attend my gathering. My dear friend, it would be the perfect chance for you to be introduced, if it pleased you.’ 

In consequence of agreeing on her attendance, Ms Swan had the obligation of turing in her countryside attire in turn for a ballgown. She had not been so pampered in quite a duration. Being all done up reminded her pretty she truly was. Arriving at Mr Bingley residence she knew not a soul and felt truly lonely. Drifitng in and out of conversations the whole soirée while her companion was preoccupied. After a duration of not having one to converse or dance with, she had set her mind to wandering about Bingleys estate. Through the corridors, archways and many salons she had stumbled her way into the dwelling’s impressive library. She had always found a comforts in books that many people could not render her. She approached the shelves filled with books and novels full of treasured information and tales. Brushing her fingers against their spines and skimming their titles. Engrossed by her pondering she had yet to notice the figure stationed across from her. ‘I would have been more prepared if I had knowledge there would be company joining me’ Bella inhaled abruptly from shock to face none other than, Edward Cullen himself positioned behind her. 

Heart hammering in her chest as she was standing alone with Edward in a darkened library, it was very scandalous! ‘I-Iumm-I shall leave you be, I must be going” tucking her hair behind her ear and turned to leave. ‘I had not meant-‘started the Cullen but she had already made it halfway down the hallway and his voice was not carried so far out. With what felt like a face on fire, she marched away flustered from the library and back to the dance hall.

 Upon her return to the grand room Mr Bingley enclosed on her, querying where she had gone off to. The story of her encounter with the younger Cullen had Mr Bingley in a mirthful disposition. ‘ It would be a true shame if you did not share a dance with him this evening, it is so apparent you fancy him, and we must discover his affections towards you’ bashfully teasing Ms Swan. He declared he was off to convince Mr Cullen to a dance with the alluring new towns member. 

The discovery of the Cullens was not in itself difficult, their dark wardrobes stood out in the seas of colourful attires. Edward was found re-entering the room in a flurry when Bingley collected his regard. Bingley had started with querying if he had heard of the newest Swan arrival. It was stated that Mr Cullen in fact, had knowledge of Ms Swan arrival, Bingley had knowed this situation was bound for success.  ‘You see, she happens to be an old friend of mine, truly dear. Do you have any impressions of the lady? If I were to speak of you fondly there would surely excellent chance of a certain fondness’

‘She does intrigue me so, but as well do you sir. I do not believe we’ve had more than a brief exchange of words, yet here you are trying to find me a match’ said he with a shimmering eye.

‘ Well then let us introduce ourselves. I am Charles Bingley, host of this ball and compatriot to all’ extending his hand for a frim handshake. 

‘It is certainly and honour to finally truly to make myself know to you. I am Edward Cullen’ said he. In a sultry voice reaching his hand to meet Bingleys. Mr Bingely composure ceased being serne, had it just get hot in here?  Mr Cullens eyes stayed in contact with Bingleys even when his were drawn away, it was an intense exchange. Even so Mr Bingley continued,

‘My fair dame of a friend would possibly be a great match with you’ said he in a dry sputter.

The expression now plastered a crossed the other gentleman’s face had an air of exasperation.

‘Your lady friend does sound quite pleasant, however I am currently more captivated by you ”

A strained gulp passed down Charles throat. Had a fellow been this forward towards him in the past he would have thought little of his stature, but in this instance was contrasting. Despite his own struggles, he conveyed Mr Cullen to share a dance this evening with a Ms Swan. 

            Across the ballroom Edward drifted in the direction of Ms Swan. It was not that Ms Swan did not intrigue him, believe me she did, nonetheless so did Mr Bingley. Those two were the only folk he had ever encountered who his mental telepathy did not function on. Quite bizarre for him indeed. For you see dear reader, Edward Cullen ( and the rest of his family) were vampires. Surviving generations after generations of humans, never setting foot into sun light and being being impossibly fast and strong. Unlike the tales of old, they did not consume human blood. In replace of it, they hunted animals. It helped them live among the people not to constantly deal with bloodlust. Still, this evening was different, Edward felt insatiable of Ms Swan and Mr Bingley. 

            As he reproached the young madame, he assured himself to maintain composure of being in such close vasinity to her. She looked absolutely ravishing in her castleton green ball gown. He reached out a hand to her and she took it hesitantly. ‘Would you do me the honours of joining me for a dance ’ inquisited he. Whisking them off to the dance floor with ease, as Claire de lune by Debussy starts resonating through the room. ‘I am quite found of Debussys works, especially this one’ proclaimed he. 

‘I w-would personally a-agree with you’ tepidly she added. 

They sway and swing with graceful movement and a fervent air set upon them. It seems as though the whole dance hall is raptured by there intensity, including Mr Bingley.

            He felt as though he was seething eyeing the two of them heartily enjoying each others presence. Putting feeling to words felt impossible, all he knew he knew was he desired to have Edward return to him. 

The evening came to a close, newly found pairs bid each other adieu and set off for the evening.’ I appreciate you putting in a good word for me Charles’ Bella merrily thanked Mr Bingley. She popped a small kiss onto his cheek and was off. Her carriage trotting away into the earl morning murk. Strangely enough, just outside stood Edward, glissing in a patch a morning light. His skin was like diamonds. Charles was baffled. Once Edward realized his state of un-loneliness, he rushed to his carriage.

            The following week Mr Bingely was waiting upon Ms Swan once again. On this occasion he was sitting with her in the lounge room of her abode. He had not paid her a visit since his ball, and they needed to fully debrief the situation surrounding Edward Cullen. Mr Bingely begin explaining the darnest thing he ever saw after his ball. ‘His skin was glowing, it was not natural in any manner,’ said he. They had begun conspiring a bunch a tales that could explain this unlikely event. Their hersay was interumpted as the entry of a Mr Edward Cullen was announced. Both fell dead silent as he strode into the room. ‘ I did not mean to interrupt, do carry on’ said he, taking a position on an armchair across from them. 

            ‘W-we were in the middle of discussing last weeks ball’ Ms Swan said biting her lip. 

            ‘What in particular was so discussion worthy’ he grinned charmingly at them, with a knowing look. Ms Swan eyeballed Mr Bingley , and he looked back at her. Both wondering what they should say. Charles had enough guts to pipe up. 

            ‘You are not human, are you?’ He firmly directed the question towards the pale figure. 

            ‘Say it, what am I?’ he directed.

            ‘V-v-vampire’ Ms Swan sputtered out. Mr Cullens head sharply turned to face and stood up directed to the window. He tore apart the curtains and let the sunlight coat him. 

            ‘This is the skin of a killer Bella and Charles’ ise pales complextion sparkled like a diamond, shimmering and shining. The two of them sat in awe even more raptured by his beauty. 

            ‘You two are like no one I’ve ever encountered before. I cannot read your thoughts, unlike the others’. 

            ‘We do not fear you’ said she, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

            ‘What else do you not fear? The expectations of society?’ He stated at Charles. 

            ‘ I am a free man ; I do not allow the hindrances of other to bring me down’ Replied Mr Bingley in full confident. 

            ‘Perfcet, then it is all settled then’ he stood up with a gusto. He reached out to grab one of each of their hands and pulled them up with him. 

            ‘We shall call it a match then’ said he a grand smile on his face.

The morning after a dance, or any event really, should have been a busy one. Delilah wasn’t vain, but she knew she had delicate features that some would find moderately attractive. Despite having no gentleman asking her to dance, she had expected maybe one or two to pay her a visit and hopefully with Plum Blossoms. The maids had been extra vigilant with their cleaning; the cooks had made delicious biscuits, and yet it was almost the afternoon, and not one person had even passed by the Bishop London residence. Her sisters were out, as was her step-mother, and as far as Delilah knew, her father was busy in his study. She was alone again, watching society busy themselves courting or promanding. Quietly, Delilah started to cry. Her debut season should not have been this hard and yet these were the cards she was dealt. Wallowing in her own self-pity, Delilah was disturbed by the sound of the drawing room door opening. “I shall be with you in a moment.” She said, turning her back to wipe away the embarrassment of her pity. “There are extra biscuits if you are hungry.” She turned and put on her best smile.

Weapons

Each girl’s magic weapon transforms from an ordinary item. Its speculated that these items were taken from the dream world, a theory supported by episode six when we see Ai take Yae’s beaded bracelet into the real world. I’s also theorized that these items were once possessed and given to the girls by the girls each of them wish to bring back, which I believe to be a more plausible theory.

Ai’s item is a multi-colored pen, capable of transforming into a complex hammer or mace-like weapon.

Neiru’s item is a [drawing] compass that transforms into a sniper. She is able to control its form and change it into different kinds of guns such as an Assault Riffle. 

 Rika’s weapon is likely a box cutter or razor blade. This would be symbolic of the harm she inflicts upon herself. Her magic weapon takes the form of two individual blades that also resemble scissors, however the lines that appear on them more closely resemble a box cutters. 

Momoe’s item has yet to be shown to us, but her magic weapon takes the form of a long spear or sword so it’s speculated that her item is a [hair] pin, a [sewing] pin, a needle, or some other kind of small, sharp object.

Temporary Weapons

When fighting against the Wonder Killers, we’ve seen the Wonder Egg Girls provide some kind of assistance to the protectors. However, Ai is the only one who’s been able to receive and use physical items given to her by the Wonder Egg Girls to her advantage. Some of the items Ai has used include--

The Gymnast Ribbon from episode two that transforms into a glowing, yellow whip.

The Stick Lights and Cell Phone from episode five that take the form of dual blades.

The Beaded Prayer Bracelet from episode six that allowed Ai to see Yae’s Wonder Killer.

Dream Domains

Each girl has their own domain. For Ai-Chan it’s a school, for Neiru it’s a bridge, for Momoe it’s a train station, and for Rika it’s a cliff. These places are where the girls they’re trying to bring back killed themselves.

Acca and Ura Acca

Acca and Ura Acca’s role thus far has been providing the protectors with assistance by providing them with information about the Dream World, telling them how to defeat Haters, Seeno Evils, and Wonder Killers, and providing them with extra help-- the Pomanders. Acca and Ura Acca are capable of communicating with the protectors in the real world, although its speculated that they do not exist outside of the garden connected to the Dream World. We see them talking to the girls while at the bowling place, we see them spying on the girls when Ai is discussing her mothers relationship with the school counselor, and we see them help and guide Ai in the first episode. Both Acca and Ura Acca closely resemble mannequins, so it’s possible that they only exist in the garden. However, I think it’s possible that they are real people outside of the garden.

A popular theory is that Acca and Ura Acca are completely in control of everything, including what Wonder Egg Girl goes to which protector. This theory leads people to believe that in the final few episodes, Acca and Ura Acca will make it so that the girls each of the protectors are trying to bring back will appear from the Wonder Egg and they’ll have to help them overcome their trauma. 

Wonder Killers

Wonder killers are the personified trauma of the Wonder Egg Girls and are the cause of their suicide. They often have a complex and abstract appearance that is creepily phantasmic. The wonder killers are always symbolic of people and/or things that caused the Wonder Egg Girls to suffer when they were alive. The Wonder Killers seek to lure in and further torment the Wonder Egg Girls. We’ve seen in past episodes that the Wonder Killers are capable of controlling the Seeno Evils.

Seeno Evils

Seeno Evils are small entities that wear black clothing that exist within the dream world. The Seeno Evils are capable of tracking the Wonder Egg Girls no matter their location. They carry knives and leave red paint tracks in the areas they pass over. A popular theory is that the Seeno Evils are symbolic of those who stood around and did nothing while the Wonder Egg Girls were suffering when they were alive. They pretended to see no evil and did nothing to help the girls. Further proof for this is when Rika and Ai are together in the dream world and Rika calls the Seeno Evils “bystanders.”

Haters

As told by Acca and Ura Acca, Haters are born from the spite and envy of Seeno Evils. They closely resemble the Seeno Evils but are green instead of red, which could be symbolism for their envy. The Haters, instead of chasing after the Wonder Egg Girls, chase after the protectors. It’s possible that the haters represent those who envied the Wonder Egg Girls when they were alive. Though they were suffering, there was still something people found envious about them and the Haters represent those people.

Promanders

Promanders are power-ups, as Ura Acca puts it. Each Promander turns into a tiny reptile animal. In order to be used, they must first be activated in the real world with the phrases “Venti” and “Redi.” When brought out in the real world, they are very tiny, but take a much larger form in the Dream World to help the protectors fight against the Wonder Killers and Haters. For Ai, it’s a chameleon, for Neiru, it’s a pink snake, for Rika, it’s a tortoise, and for Momoe, it’s a crocodile. 

One-Liners

Each girl has a catch phrase. Nice flashy touch.

Ai- “Now, I’m mad”

Rika- “I will knock you off your feet with a blow to the heart”

Momoe- "Get Lost"

Neiru- “I will blow your mind”

MAGNOLIA PROMANDE: Crews battle two-alarm fire.

Crews are battling a fire in the Breezy Meadows section of the city. The fire broke out around 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at 1116 Quinnipiac Ave. Fire officials quickly called for a second alarm with all crews responding. According to fire officials, fire and smoke were showing from a distance with flames on the first floor.

There are currently 28 active closings.
