Took me a hot minute, but I come with a doodle/idea page of Mitra, my Neo Agent 3 (who's based on a Mimic Octopus) !!

This was like, the first thing I drew (tho I came back to it later to color). Recently saw a video of a Mimic Octopus doing different disguises and was like "hmm, how can I make my OC more like this"

Second thing (well the Swim Form was added last) !! Wanted to play more with the idea that Mitra tends to slouch (despite being on constant alert) so they can blend in more in crowds due to naturally being tall. Plus it's also silly :3c

Also wanted to revamp the idea of how Mitra "disguised" themselves as an Inkling when they were younger. I implemented more Mimic Octopus traits, more so how they can flatten their tentacles to make them look more spread out.

Me when I have to test how comfortable I am stretching customization and abilities of these inkfish (I don't want to simply give them the ability to just look like another person, because it's not like Mimic Octopus can suddenly transform into a duplicate of their inspiration. They just look good enough to fool them !! And thank cod inklings can be as dumb as bricks DJSGFSD)

Moving on,,,

Revisiting another idea again, kinda!! Initially by first ever drawing of Mitra heavily played on being unable to see their eyes due to their hair- So I brought it back!! To make them spooky :3

Also thought it'd be interesting to think about inkfish having different hair growth rates, with Mitra's being miserable since their tentacles are always so long. They probably need a hair cut like, every 2-3 weeks maybe .

(Extra note!! Huge fan of this Octoling Hair HC so like,, Mitra would prolly dispose of their excess hair by either feeding it to Lil Buddy or just trash it when they can (does the latter more often))

ARS GOETIA OCS (And Paimon redesign ig)

Long post ahead 💀

So like, after the release of the new Helluva Boss trailer, I got SUPER fixated on the Ars Goetia. So I wanted to try my hand at designing my own takes on members not yet shown in the series, as well as crafting some self indulgent lore about the group.

So, I imagine that there are 4 main Goetia families, with each of their houses being in one of the cardinal directions of the Pride Ring. 3 of the 4 families have both a king and a queen at the head, with the 4th only having a king (we’ll get to that).

The couples, and their directions go like this:

Belial (North)

Paimon and Balam (West)

Vine and Zagan (East)

Beleth and Purson (South)

These are just where the kings and queens live. Offspring often move out to other rings, so there’s Goetia influence all throughout Hell.

Each of the kings and queens are also fallen angels, having fallen with Lucifer after the battle in Heaven. For this reason, their crowns appear more halo-like, floating above their heads. Two of them don’t have this on their refs, but that’s just because I designed them before coming up with that idea.

Anyways, to the designs!

Belial

Belial is one of the most powerful members of the Ars Goetia, rivaling the power of the sins, and many mortals think of them synonymous to the Devil himself.

So powerful they can actually reproduce by themself. For this lil hc, I made them a California Condor, a species of bird known to have reproduced without a mate. Also, the look of the condor just goes well with the whole pestilence thing Belial has going on.

I think their cloak is actually wings that come from their back, remnants from their time as an angel. I just didn’t draw them in that second picture cuz I just didn’t feel like it 💀

They’re one of the two I drew before I came up with the whole “halo crown” thing, but I have drawn a doodle of what they would look like now with that concept. It’ll be shown later in the post.

Also, I imagine them being agender, so go with the vibes of “being so powerful, the concept of gender means nothing to them and no word can ever truly describe them”, if that makes sense. Idk, that’s just the vibes I get from them. So I usually refer to them with they/them pronouns, but you can really call them whatever you want.

Paimon

I actually don’t mind Paimon’s canon design all that much. Think it actually goes pretty hard. I more so just wanted to change his species cuz with how I imagine my tweaked version of the Ars Goetia, the parents’ species has no effect on what species the offspring will be. Just as long as they’re bird. So Stolas is still an owl, don’t worry. I decided on making Paimon a raven because Stolas is sometimes described as a raven instead of an owl, so I wanted to pay homage to that.

I also gave him wing arms because he has been said to be able to fly.

That’s about all I got for Paimon

Balam

Balam is Paimon’s wife and also Asmodeus’s sister. I made this decision because when looking at their descriptions, Balam and Asmodeus are described very similarly. They are both chimeras with the head of a man, a bull, and a ram, and both possess a serpent tail. So I decided “fuck it, they’re related now”. This also means Ozzy is Stolas’s uncle, which I think would be an interesting dynamic.

I made Balam a bearded vulture mainly for the fact that Balam is also described to have “fiery eyes” which gave bearded vulture to me, idk.

I imagine her other two heads usually only appear in her more demonic form. They can prolly appear normally too, but I think she doesn’t let them show often.

Vine

Vine is a demon known for construction, and I imagine he built most of the Goetia manors. He makes structures using vines that sprout from his wrists, which then morph into the desired material after the creation is finished.

I decided to make him a Montezuma Oropendola, which are birds known to build large nests out of, you guessed it, vines.

Vine is never escaping the spelling of his name.

Which is also the reason I made him very plant themed. Idk, I just find something so nature-y and alive existing in someplace like Hell to be interesting.

I even wrote a lil world building tidbit about him:

To the east of the Pride Ring rests an overgrown forest, with trees so dense that no light hits the dead grass below and roots so tangled that one cannot hope to get through without getting caught within the knots. But if one ventures far enough, they will see this monstrous forest transform into a lavish jungle. The plants are radiant in their green color, the several ponds sprinkled throughout filled with water that almost sparkles. Within this sanctuary, in a clearing with no true location, sits a grandiose manor; a looming structure almost resembling that of an old European castle, encased in hordes of vines and flowers. The home of King Vine and Queen Zagan — the rulers of the East.

Speaking of Queen Zagan-

Zagan

Zagan is known to transform liquids, turning water into wine, blood into wine, oil into water (which can then be turned into wine). She just makes a ton of wine. But I wanted to mainly focus on the blood to wine part, since I realized I could go with a vampiric aesthetic when designing her.

For this reason, I also chose to make her an oxpecker, which is a (sometimes) parasitic bird known for pecking at wounds on large mammals and drinking their blood.

I decided to pair her up with Vine because they’re both creators. Vine’s creations may be more grandiose, with being literal buildings and all, but Zagan’s creations are probably still useful. I mean, she can also create coins.

Oh, and now that I’ve shown both of them, this is what Belial and Zagan’s crowns would look like now, with the whole halo crown thing

Beleth

Beleth was very tricky for me to design at first. Beleth is described as appearing intimidating and fierce when summoned, in order to test the courage of the conjuror. So I wanted to make her intimidating, but was struggling to figure out how exactly I wanted to do that.

Thankfully, my good good friend @braveboiart helped with ideas, and suggested the armor and shadowy cape.

I also made her a shoebill stork, cuz when I think of a bird a lot of people find intimidating, I think of the shoebill.

Purson

And then last but not least, Beleth’s husband, Purson. I decided to pair them up because I wanted to depict them both with armor. They’re a warrior duo.

I made Purson a harpy eagle mainly cuz I thought it’d be cool, but also cuz they’re one of the heaviest birds of prey, and I read somewhere that during the battle it took a swarm of angels to take him down. Idk how canon this is to actual bible lore, but I like it so I’m stealing it /lh

I imagine Beleth and Purson manage some sort of military, and probably train the knights in the Ars Goetia ranking. Idk, I’m still figuring lore out.

Anyways, that’s all I have to show off today. I’m working on redesigning Stolas, Stella, and Octavia, so look out for that I guess.

Hi guys!! Sorry I haven’t been active for a while, just wanted to check in since it’s been like half of a month lool

I was taking a break from tumblr and drawing in general to focus a bit more on school, but now I think I’m stuck in art block which is poo cause I wanna draw now rgrgrggr 😡😡😡

But I figured I could share with you my upcoming projects that I’ll be working on sooner or later:

✦first I have some asks, about 4-6 of them I can’t can’t remember how many :V I’ve been trying to work mainly on 3 of them, but haven’t really gotten anywhere :c

✦Second I have a silly comic idea I want to draw soon. featuring the baby boy- well it’s mainly about Dream and swap but baby boy will be there too- I’m waiting to start after I respond to at least 1 or 2 asks

✦I want to do something for Christmas, prolly nothing big but something simple and sweet, which I’m aiming to post it on Christmas or the day before(I’m thinking of drawing sum ship kids for this one :>)

✦I have super cute Dreamberry drawing idea, I’m hoping to make it animated(gif)!! Have no clue when I’ll make this but I really am excited about the idea and I hope I stick with it

✦finally, I was also thinking I could do art dump for end of the year- kinda like a new year special—idrk(not posted drawings, unfinished pieces & decent doodles)

Actually I made a post with some here!:

Most of them have a collaborative nature to them, but I think "You're Nobody Till Somebody Wants You Dead" is like...solely a Raf song lmao. You're Fine is like...Peak Margie to me. For most songs, Margie comes up with the [instrumental] melodies and such. Not the full arrangements [that's Raf], but the instrumental backbone for sure--because she just has a really good ear for coming up with really bangin' tunes, instrumentally.

Happy Accidents almost kinda sounds like a song that Margie had started writing before her and Raf were like...A Thing--but abandoned it due to the tyranny of Cringe. And then Raf found the unfinished lyrics+melodic doodle way later [primarily just the chorus and the characteristic "Ooooooo"ing lmao] and finished it himself as a gift to her.

Margie would prolly have had a higher bpm little bop in her mind when she started it, but Raf [being Raf] can't help but inject bittersweetness with his more sincere writings.

I'm like 95% sure this is describing some large cat, but it goes against the spirit of the event to just draw the animal I think it might be. There's only one bit here that doesn't make sense to me, like I'm genuinely not sure what it was trying to get across: "It is said to live sometimes on its prey, sometimes on earth and sometimes, even, on the wind." ...unless "live on" doesn't mean "physically reside upon", but rather "be nourished by", in which case things make more sense, but also I'm just left with like, a mythologized lion or leopard or tiger or whatever.

I don't want to draw a normal-ass large cat for something that's prolly a cat, I want to draw something WEIRD. Also because the description given for the creature would feel RIGHT at home in an old D&D 2E sourcebook, if they replaced "Solinus" for a more fantasy-sounding name.

Think I'll stick with a "wildcat as filtered through my vague memory" build though, to reduce the cognitive load. "Mane" can be like a lion's mane, but also like a horse's or donkey's, so that can make it weirder; and even if I stick with just viable fur colours, having a bunch all together will still look weird. Or it could be... I was going to say "tentacles", then I realized I'd end up unintentionally recreating the akata from Pathfinder/Starfinder, and I don't want to do that. "Fibre-optic cables" would be hilarious, but I don't know how I'd pull that off, and not sure if I want to try, depends on what all ideas I get.

"Can't turn head" makes possible sense as something with really highly developed jaw musculature, where everything's going towards force instead of flexibility. It said that strength was "least of all in its loins", but how to mesh that with something that can "tall buildings in a single bound" kind of jump... very springy legs I guess? The creature looks oddly unbalanced, in my head (because I haven't doodled anything yet), I need to consider what kind of features can "balance" it so it seems plausible, yet still deeply odd. Like, platypize it.

The bit about how it lives "sometimes on earth, sometimes on wind", going by the interpretation of "nourished by", that could be that it's an opportunistic insectivore, digging for grubs or snapping up flies. The "mane" could be something like a frill, to help tunnel bugs to its mouth; I don't know if that makes actual biological sense, but it's the "iunno, seems plausible enough" that you get in bestiary entries so I might go with that, if I can find a way to depict it that I like.

So, next stage is "staring blankly off into space while I consider things"; it's going to happen anyways, might as well make it an official part of the process. I might end up including some bat-like features, as there were bits in the description an made me think of bats, even if it was due to a misreading.

OK HELL YEA LET'S GO

Toya is also good at Tetris (not as good as he is at Puyo Puyo, aka, he's not on any leaderboards) THEREFORE he's like a GOD at Puyo Puyo Tetris. He's like, scary good, like those moms who play for fun.

Akito DEFINITELY played Club Penguin when he was younger and got banned a lot for swearing. He just made a new penguin each time. Before the servers shut down he tried to do the swearing speed run, but he unfortunately wasn't fast enough to get into the top 50.

Mizuki likes Undertale. It's a vibe, I haven't even played the game but IT'S A VIBE THEY GIVE OFF.

Honami plays cooking mama sometimes when she's stressed. Sometimes Ichika watches her and they both cheer when she gets a full score (and Mama's approval).

Shizuku and Airi have those couples' tamagatchis. Surprisingly, despite her troubles with technology, Shizuku's is still alive and thriving.

An does K pop dances while practicing. She knows the whole choreo for Fancy by heart.

Saki and Tsukasa always give each other a good night hug.

Toya cuddles with his Pochacco plushie at night (this one is real to ME I don't care imagine how cute that would be IMAGINE IT)

Kohane and Minori have a secret handshake. It's not a secret.

Shiho pats Minori and Kohane on the head sometimes.

Haruka and An, when they were younger, once competed while playing the claw machine. An won, with the prize she caught being a small penguin plush. She gave it to Haruka. Turns out she was trying to get it for her friend the entire time.

Minori watches Doremon with her little brother and quotes it sometimes by accident on stream. Her fans find it adorable.

Emu draws little doodles on every piece of paper she comes across; every form, every test, every single tiny note. If she doesn't have time to draw much she just draws a goofy smiley face. Rui has adopted this habit slightly, sometimes slipping his own doodles into notes for her or for all of WxS. Nene draws stars next to the doodles. Tsukasa has most of them he has received saved in a notebook. Miku and the others have them hanging on a board (miku wanted to put it on a fridge, Kaito reminded her that there IS no fridge.)

I wanna draw comic but I,,, just can’t today

Therefore I will be here brainstorms some trivial ideas of the siblings

Their weekends during high school:

Jules mostly spent his weekends on part time jobs. Occasionally hang out with his friend also (they’re both busy they majorly just hang out at school a lot)

Viv used to go outdoor to keep herself looking busy to Jules (she didn’t wanna let him know she’s a loner) and sometimes she’d spend time taking long trains to places and bought stuff back for her bro pretending that she went on trips with high school friends. That gets too costly and meaningless over time tho

Then after a while she started to look into cooking. It’s mainly to save money (their family isn’t particularly poor but for reasons after they moved out their parents supports them very little.) They don’t get to have fancy food outside, let alone Viv’s crazy appetite. So she tried to make them herself. That later becomes what she does the most during weekends especially for complicated recipes that can take a whole day to prepare. (She’d also like to try baking but their place doesn’t have an oven)

Tho for the time near the beginning of the comic she’s became less active and a lot of time just lying in her bed doing nothing while time flys away (there were other special factors that caused her inactivity. But I guess she count as being depressed at that time)

When it comes to food:

A funny little thought I’ve been considering putting into the main comic if I could at some point is that they dont order pizza.

Reason being it’s a lil bit expensive (in my country) and also that viv feels bad and unfair when they do. Cuz Jules would have like 2 slices while viv would end up eating the rest

It’s not news that she eats a lot but even so she likes to keep things “fair”. And what she do is whenever they have any meals together she’d have just slightly more then him for the main dish, then eat along side when a huge amount of carb like white rice or noodles or a whole loaf of bread

But they can’t really do that with pizza. Even if they intentionally leave a few slices leftover she’s gonna eat the leftovers soon anyway

Animals:

Jules likes animals. Almost all animals. Viv doesn’t really have anything for animals.

Jules would pat stray dogs and cats and Viv’s just watching him do that. He once thought about actually have a cat as pet and even asked viv about it. But after some discussion they decide it’s not that easy to just own a pet like that. So he continues to just petting animals outside

Social media:

Jules likes taking selfies but it’s only for his own entertainment. He’s not good at social media in general.

Viv prolly has a priv Twitter or a blog only for following things and venting thoughts

Itll be funny if she also writes short stories sometimes. Secretly. But idk that’s prolly not too in character

Their grades at school:

Viv has average grades for all subjects except math. She’s insanely good at math. She just thinks it’s the most simple thing ever

Jules has bad grades in general especially sucks at math. The thing is I wanna say the only one thing he’s quite good at would be English(or any second-language kinda subject) but that’s cuz I’m not American and so English is the main second language thing we studied at school… it would not make sense in a comic I already writing in English lol. So too bad he just sucks at everything now (Except sports and art if those count)

Speaking of such

Sports and art:

They’re both good at sports. Not to a point to stand out, but alright. Neither of them do work-outs but they both naturally have nice muscle mass

Jules actually can draws quite decently. But he never really developed it. Viv doodles but it stays on a normal doling level

A lot of these are spontaneous ideas and most are set in the sort of TL where Y/N is just constantly stalking the Celestial Star. i also wanted to put out more shit but brain emptyyyyyy so take what was floating around in there for a while.

-Y/N hounding off other sirens who have their eyes set on the ship. This usually happens at night so Moon gets the brunt of seeing this BS. A couple of warning shots are enough to get them to fuck off if Y/N doesn't shred them to pieces. Moon's still irritated that this one siren sticks around, though.

-The first time it happens is completely baffling for the brothers, but is prolly all the more reason to be on guard with this siren. Out of everyone though, Sun is probably the most open to possibilities outside of this one siren planning some sort of giant takedown Nah, it's just Y/N being possessive RGJSDFJOS

-okay bUT Y/N SAVING ANY OF THE BOYS FROM DROWNING- Idk how this would happen, and Y/N at first could be keen on taking one of the brothers down with them if they fell, but then hearing the other two brothers call for them would override that because then it'd occur to Y/N that this brother is hurt and well, maybe they'll gain approval if they brought them back? Plus, it'd be better to have all 3 at once, so Y/N could wait another day!

-I'm just a fan of Y/N being a lil helper in the very background. Them helping out cryptically by causing disruptive damage to any opposing ship and usually luring and taking out certain members of the opposing crew days before the boys take action to make things easier. The boys notice the strange victorious streak they got going on lately, but fundamentally bigger issues usually overtake that concern. At least it helps them relax a more little by little. Y/N doesn't want them to be stressed!

-Y/N has once tried singing cryptically to try and comfort a stressed Moon. It did the exact opposite.

-IDK if this would be in character but idk man the thought of Y/N secretly giving lil trinkets to any kids on the ship (if there are any?? feel free to debunk) to give to the boys gives me a lil serotonin. The brothers notice some kids being more confident on the deck lately, and they don't know the real reason why. Not that they're complaining though. Sun especially has fun with them!

-Listen/ Y/N DIRECTLY protecting one of the brothers from another siren. Like. Fucking guard dog kinda shit. I AM DOWN BAD.

Omg your ideas are making me go FERAL!!! Especially the idea of there being children aboard the celestial star!

There reasons for being there won't be a happy one. (Shipwreck survivors or child traficing) but they're safe with the Captains and Crew. Everyone aboard is pretty passionate about kids. That's why they're pirates after all.

The children wouldn't stay for long. They'd be dropped off at the nearest orphanage for the authorities to help. A Pirate ship isn't exactly a place to keep kids. BUT THE IDEA OF GUPPY ENTERTAINING THE KIDS SO THEY DON'T STRESS FROM THE WHOLE SITUATION IS GOLD!!

umm context under the read more if you wanna read that 'cause i'll prolly won't do anything with this anytime soon, but here's my thought process/headcanon

edit: i feel like rambling a bit so here we go. Context: 7 years timeskip, obv. Vegeta is super depressed and lost without kakarot, he basically ignores his family and just stays quiet in his room alone, beating himself up in GR or just hanging out in lonely places (but unlike piccolo he doesnt actually get any benefit from it lol). On the other hand, Gohan is grieving, deeply, he can't help but feel he's responsible for Goku's death, even if he knows it's wrong and no one blames him (except vegeta maybe?? I can see Vegeta blaming everyone to try and ignore how its HIS fault too). Gohan's also struggling with ssj2, turns out 10 yos with atlas complex should NOT be more powerful than all the adults around them [oh, hey steven, how are you?].

So uhhhh Vegeta's desperate for combat and blood and saiyan goodness, so when Gohan comes visit him to check on him for whatever reason (maybe make sure he doesnt hurt bulma/trunks), he goads him into combat. He specifically goads for the SSJ2, bc of course he does, and enjoys every bloody moment of gohan pushing him back with full power. Finally, another challenge, if Freeza and Kakarot are gone, he WILL surpass this brat. But Gohan, who is the mature adult in this conversation, puts an end to it and refuses to actually fight him to the end. period. This silly pantomime where he pretends to be Goku will end in nothing but misery for both of them. Gohan sees in Vegeta what obsessing over his power and his dad's death will do to him, so he makes the choice to find a way to leave it all behind. I have a general idea what I want the story to be, but right now I just see it as disjointed scenes in my head. I posted some June and Puzzle wearing dresses where I wanted a scene to happen in a casino on the ship. Cruise ship casinos are kinda lame though lol, but it'll be as big and cool as I want >:•3 and it's an excuse to have everyone in cool formal wear cuz that's always fun! The cult leader calls for a big party on the ship and everyone has to attend! It's also where he culls the herd...because not everyone is worthy of going to heaven...apparently Koa likes playing video games! He's on the top of the leaderboard for one MMO, and during one event the top prize was blueprints for an in-game item: roller skates! It would make for cool merch to put on your wall or something. There was a rumor among the playerbase that the blueprints could make skates that function as they do in the game. Koa won the prints then used them to custom build his own skates (they look kinda generic now but I haven't put a lot of thought into their design lmao). The combination of materials used and construction give them a magical quality that allows him to skate faster than any human could! He's always pushing his limits, and sometimes it gets him in twubble xd Keizo has an issue with bad dreams...at night he replays all the times in his life where people were rude to him or each other, how he needs to keep peace between them, he just really hates assholes! He has nightmares about them treating him badly and there's nothing he can do, because at his height and with his strength he'd come off as the bad guy no matter what! They push and push 'til he's about to snap...then he wakes up! The rage super heats his blood and his skin glows red and steam pours out his ears! His hair is all wacky cuz it holds it's shape on the pillow from all the heat lmao June and the rest of them find out about it when they see steam coming out from under his door at night. Don't wake him up though! If he's still glowing hot he'll sleep walk while in a berserk state. First, it makes him really rude himself lmao. He'll say all the nasty things he won't when he's awake! Second, if he sees someone doin' shit he don't like, they're gettin' these 🤜🤛 In his happy ending you'd see him with his hair flat for the first time wouldn't that be nice :•3 Adam is always doing experiments on himself, kinda just for shits, kinda because he wants to discover something amazing....!.....?!?!??! When he was younger, his sister, who he loved v much, died. He wanted to become a doctor, not because he wanted to find a cure for the thing that killed his sister...because she died in an accident! He likes Keizo as a friend, but to Adam Keizo is a perfect specimen of an indestructable human. Adam's been fascinated with him for a while, but Keizo also just makes for a good subject for testing against! Also, they met when Adam was studying abroad and Keizo came up on a motorbike and attacked the wheels on Adam's scooter. Cute! :•) Keizo used to be a bad boy :•( Other experiments Adam's done: Eyesight like a HAWK Cat ears but for real Jelly bones(?) Longer ween 😳 Lloyd is a stinky tech wiz who likes playing around with AI's and robotics! He has myassive myega brains and he monitors many of the functions of the ship by himself in his server room. When the captain is captured and thrown off the ship, Lloyd uses his know-how and special accesses to make sure the cult doesn't make a mess of everything. He knows about and can see everything that happens on the ship...for fun he likes video games toooo! And plays with Koa! He likes buildin' lil gadgets n tings for fun too! They can come in real handy! nsfw! Stuff past here!!!!!!!!! June, Koa, and Lloyd are all inexperienced!

As a lover, Keizo tries to be gentle...but once he gets into it he can be a bit rough! If you're into it, just enjoy! Or speak up and he'll slow down! If she’s mad or frustrated, her drawing would look kinda rough and not that cute anymore

He’s from class 7 AND I really think that he’ll be good at drawing

Well, he can draw a few things but he struggles drawing other things he never accustomed to

But!

Oomimi is that kid who’s good at drawing scenery

He knows basic color palettes and which is cold and hot colors

So the scenery drawing would always look good

He get a lot of compliments for the drawing (50% of it from Akagi)

I think he doesn’t have that many time to relax and draw freely but when he does have it, it’ll just be small and simple doodles

Aran

I truly believe that Aran can draw peoples face but in a pretty decent amount

He’s also good with anatomy teach me your ways king

But as much as he’s good at that, he kinda sucks at drawing any kind of background drawings

Mans can’t draw a scenery I’m telling you

As if the background doesn’t even exist in his mind lolol I’m sorry Aran lovers, I didn’t mean that in a bad way

Mainly uses copic markers to color and color pencils to shade

The first time he use the copic marker, he got really frustrated that the marker stain the other pages lmao

And he never uses digital drawing applications or softwares

Okay, I know that Kita’s a top student and never fails in anything

But he’s not typically a good drawer that much

His drawing still got good marks but when you look at it, it just looks normal

I just know that the Kita lovers gonna get me after this

It’s not that bad and not that good, just a nice balance in between

I personally think Kita’s not that godly in drawing but rather a neutral drawer

He draw what he can and does shading and coloring when it’s needed

The colors are all basic colors, no pastel, no neon

And the shadings are pretty basic

Just a normal drawer here

Does gladiator Maeve have any magic?

Ah :DDD omg this made me so happy! I’ve been sitting on some magic headcanons for G!Maeve for a little while now! I’ll prolly doodle this later because oh it’s so good. Thank you so much for asking, it made my day!

She does and it’s like regular Maeve’s magic. Super in tune with her emotions. But since g!maeve has a better handle on herself with losing control she doesn’t have the bursts of magic energy regular Maeve does.

BUT. She’s like a walking exposed wire. Super volatile. When she loses it she loses it. Her emotions are cranked up to an 11 due to how closed off she is to both herself and others

Which means powerful emotions and that transfers into her magic

She doesn’t lose control easy in the arena but there is a reason Lucio has banned some of her magic use

When she loses control it’s called ‘Blood Frenzy’. Generally it’s when she’s been pushed to the edge and then some. She goes batshit.

It looks like she has the red plague in places, making this use of magic VERY uncomfortable to watch for Lucio and fans

Her irises go pitch black and the sclera of her eyes turn into a very deep red, streams of red running from them like blood

Fingertips glow with a matching dark red and her palms glow like coals (and they burn hot like coals too. She’s still connected to fire but due to her anger issues™️ the connection is stronger, more powerful, all and all worse) (OH YEAH AND HER EYES GLOW)

Skin goes sheet white, like a pure white to make the red more apparent

People have dubbed this ‘Hysteria’. Few get to actually see it due to how hard it is to push her this far. But a few is not none.

Blood Frenzy (Hysteria) is basically her overpowered power upgrade. It drains on her energy and emotions HEAVILY though

Heals surface wounds super quick, only delays internal wounds (when she comes out of it she feels them full force all at once)

She’s faster and stronger with magic cracking around her. It’s not much of a show since she usually leaves her opponent a splatter on the arena walls and on people in the splash zone

This drains on her. Once she comes out of it she’s passing out from having no energy

Sleeps for days after this, drains on her emotions too so she’s even more of an emotionless shell when she wakes up

Pretty much screwed if she didn’t end her opponent before coming out of Hysteria

It’s pretty awesome to watch her though. She’s like a whirlwind

I’m glad I finally got an ask like this because I’ve been needing an excuse to dump my original vision for the blog since I don’t think I will continue anytime soon

So, here’s an unplanned stream of consciousness explanation for Karumaitsu:

Before I go off and forget the question entirely, the basic of the blog is that during a review (the sandwich one) Karamatsu unwillingly becomes a witness to a crime (I was thinking a murder of some kind) and the culprit starts to stalk Kara and generally harasses and threatens him. Though he tries to deal with it quietly and by himself, Osomatsu gets involved and the two find a way to deal with the stalking permanently. The person in the first post is actually Osomatsu, and although I never really worked out the kinks, I was planning on the ending to be Kara and Oso luring the stalker to a secluded area to fatally confront him.

The reviews, asks, and little events all take place in the past. In my head all of the reviews and ask responses (save for some of the story related posts) are like video uploads on a YouTube channel, and my first post, the forest at night, is the latest upload. I wanted to try and give the effect of someone seeing that, wondering what the hell happened, and then going through the entire channel’s uploads to see what led up to that point.

My basic premise was to take a gag that I felt was a good enough hook to turn some heads and separate myself from other blogs. I went with food reviews because I had a lot of art/joke au(?) versions of the boys surrounding food, and also I find the absurdity of Karamatsu (my favorite) making food reviews in some broke ass car on the side of the road somewhere (Plus, Karumaitsu just sounds nice to me). I wanted to add a overarching story and horror/thriller twist to the premise, which could be a way to make the blog a little more interesting for anyone who might come across it, and keep me from getting bored and having it go the way of my previous ask blogs (which ultimately didn’t work out lmao)

If I’m honest, I think a combination of graduating high school and my waning interest in Tumblr/Osomatsu-San really killed my desire to continue with the blog. I also have a nasty habit of waiting a long ass time to start a project I’m unsure of, and I think if I had jumped on the project sooner, I would have finished it. I had it all planned out and I only had about 5-6 reviews left before concluding the story altogether. I also get impatient, so I feel my execution was off. If I were to go back, I would remake the sandwich review make it more easy to understand what happened (not too easy, but more than what I had). You’re not dumb for not getting it Anon, I just didn’t feel like I stuck the landing.

I’ve wanted to revive the blog multiple times over the years but it never seemed like a good time, and a lot of the work I do now is focused less on fan art but my own oc story Hexcode (which this blog has helped me work out the kinks in, so I’m greatful) but Tumblr is really bad when it comes to oc work which is why I’ve essentially abandoned it. I do have an idea for another horror/murder mystery au with a Flowershop!Kara, I have some doodles and it’s some of the few Oso-related art I want to make these days. However I know myself well enough to know that a blog, especially on Tumblr will prolly be short lived, especially since the fandom just isn’t what it used to be, and I’m certainly not the super fan I was back then.

I’ve rambled far too long already but I do really want to thank everyone who supported this blog while it was active, this was by far my biggest and fastest growing blog which I’m still shocked about. Specific shoutout to @taramatsu-san for not only contributing art but overall just being a really neat and supportive person. We don’t talk too much anymore but if you see this you’re valid!! If anyone is still interested in the stuff I’m working on now, I’m most active on Instagram and like I said earlier most of my work is just oc stuff now, so if you’re not interested it’s no worry. Maybe I’ll come back to this concept someday, but for now I feel it’s best to leave it as is.
