Maybe Nancy left Jonathan because things weren't working out. Maybe she was distracted, or she realized she didn't feel the way she did before. Whatever it is, it's something that frightens her. Jonathan once said she tried to rebel by doing the same things as everyone else. He would feel hurt sering her return to Steve, but most of all, he would be disappointed. Because all Steve did was to be right there when Nancy got scared, and she clung to him thinking he could be her proof that she still had a normal life waiting for her at the end of the apocalypse.

So when Robin - oh so intelligent Robin - saw the signs (a breath held for a little too long, a glance adverted just a little too quickly), she thought she understood. She thought that, maybe, she wasn't alone, that she wasn't creepy or wrong or unloveable, and she approaches her one rainy night - maybe in front of her house, maybe in an empty parking lot - and she tries to talk to her. She gets nervous and scared but she's trying to be brave and she tells her she thinks she knows how Nancy feels, or something like that, that she sees her, that she sees her dreams and her genius and magnificence, and Nancy is just tense as a bow, wanting to run away, softly saying Robin, maybe this isn't the time to talk and I think you should go home, and Robin doesn't understand until she sees Steve come out from behind Nancy, and she thinks this must be the moment they stopped being friends, because his eyes are hard and cold when he says what are you doing here? And she told you to go home, Robin, so go home. And Robin so desperately asks for just one more minute, one more second to let them explain herself, when Steve steps forward and roughly places his hand on her chest and pushes her back.

And while it may sound odd, Robin never so much like a lesbian before. Or what her mind told her it meant to be a lesbian sometimes, when she felt particularly alone. Something that appeared to be a normal woman at first sight, but was not quite one. Something deceitful. Steve would never lay hands on a woman. He barely touched her, really, he just pushed her back, but the way he did it - it felt so much like he was fighting another man who was trying to take his girl. And Robin hated herself for it.

Steve looked at her with disappointement, maybe said what is wrong with you? or just go home, but he definitely said don't come near her again, and then he left - not before telling Nancy to come with him. For a split of a second, the back and forth of Nancy's eyes almost made it look like she considered staying with Robin - her boyish charm, her brilliant mind, her adorable mannerisms, her earnestness, her bravery, the hurt in her eyes - but then she got scared again, and gave her one last apologetic glance before joining Steve, leaving Robin alone in the rain.

I cannot stress enough to you that all American government agencies are falling apart at the seams right now and they will not be put back together for the foreseeable future. EPA DHS ED VA FDA NIH IRS CDC HHS NPS etc... Elon Musk is dismantling everything. Anyone who resigns or is laid off now, the word we (I am an agency employee) are receiving internally is that their position will be abolished, not backfilled.

Do you like eating clean, safe food?

Do you like having clean, safe air and water?

Do you want experts monitoring developing infectious diseases?

Do you like getting tax returns?

Do you want your children to have free, quality, public education?

If so, you need to write to your senators and representatives RIGHT NOW. Trump is not obeying the rule of law. He is illegally firing all the inspectors general of these agencies (they are literally being escorted by security out of their offices) so that there is no one left to stop him from doing quite literally anything he wants. He has bypassed the internal structure of all of the agencies by plugging in external email servers to push typo-filled emails and memos written by employees of the heritage foundation directly into the inbox of every federal agency employee in the country, threatening to terminate them.

The rule of law is dead. The only mechanism left to stop any of this is mass public outcry via convincing your state's congressmen & women to do something, because right now they are staying absolutely silent and none of us in these agencies can figure out why. A massacre is happening right now and every single American will feel the material, concrete consequences of this in their daily lives very soon if nothing is done.

Please help me boost this information.

Love the contrast between the Americans’ “Apollo” and the Soviets’ “Sputnik.” You got the Americans naming their rocket after a Greek god trying to communicate the grandness and importance of this rocket. And you got the Soviets naming their rocket “fellow traveler.” Like a friend you go on an  adventure with together. This rocket is our little friend lol

Cryptid!Alfred, who is actually immortal. Like, he cannot die for forever - he did once, during the war, and after that... for some reason, he kept coming back, completely without any additional magical help. He sometimes dies again, and then mysteriously comes back on the next morning, as if nothing happened. Bruce used to it at some point, so instead of asking questions (Alfred has no answers, anyway) he just pretends that it is normal. He gaslights kids to think the same. Like, what do you mean he died, Damian? No, he is alrightish. Look in the kitchen, he is making us breakfast. It probably was just a bad dream.

So, when Jason dies and gets back? Oh, Alfred knows his grandson has the same curse/blessing. Because it wasn't the Lazarus Pit that brought Jason back after all, but some strange, unexplainable force. Perhaps, both of them are just bound to end up as guardians, as warriors and protectors - that's why they keep coming back.

...Nevertheless, it doesn't make their family less... anxious about the whole thing. These two from the other side? Oh, they absolutely enjoy their immortal hang-out hours.

Jason: What was your funniest death?

Alfred: I am going to say... that one time, when I was teaching young master Bruce using a hunting rifle, and he accidentally shot me. I came back in fifteen minutes, and, of course, a poor thing was sobbing, but afterwards he was doing all chores for a month. Wonderful days.

Jason: Damn, poor Brucie... My funniest gotta be that one time, when Roy and I got drunk, and I legit jumped off the building because I thought I can fly. Roy had never got sober that quick.
