Surprise the poll was determining doing Vide character moodboads, and we had a four way tie xD So I'll just slowly do them all. Mama's Gun got the first vote, so first up is the one shaping up to be a main antagonist - Elianna!

Third of four children, third daughter to parents who wanted a son to carry on their father's legacy - it's little wonder that, for all her material security, Elianna has always felt so very unfulfilled.

She has her ways of trying to fill that void, of course - she tries harder than either of her older sisters ever have, does everything she can to be the perfect daughter, eager to help around the house, always quick to share who may be responsible for some wrongdoing, always on top of her schoolwork and perfectly obedient to her teachers. (And if she gets a little grabby with the toys, or doesn't bother to fact check news before she spreads it around - well, who'd believe that of her, anyway? She's such a good little girl.)

Ellie's only a little resentful of how much focus her brother gets, how he's poised to take over her father's church someday. Her father is a little old-fashioned that way, and if nothing else - the Lord's plan will come to fruition, and she has good reason to believe the Lord's plan is perhaps not the same as her father's. That her love for Rachel is no sin, but indeed a holy calling, for what greater force is there than love, for turning wayward hearts? They're meant to be, she's certain of this - just as certain as she is, that she is destined to lead a congregation that is no mere guiding light, but that will usher in a new, wonderous era for all the world.

tiny!demonzai who, when not controlling chuuya, likes to sit in his breast pocket, on his shoulder, or in his hair to just give him "suggestions" (blatantly wrong things) on how to handle situations to watch how chuuya struggles to keep his temper in check

tiny!demonzai who transforms in big!demonzai at the least convenient times or just becomes much much louder and more obnoxious in the most inappropriate circumstances he can

tiny!demonzai who is just as stubborn as chuuya but is horrendously petty

tiny!demonzai who baits chuuya into situations he can control and easily possess him (or just plain manipulate with words)

tiny!demonzai who almost gets swallowed by a cat and gets laughed at by chuuya until the (stupid!!) mortal doubles over clutching his side and tiny has to possess him and be petty

Demonic possession skk AU but Dazai wants Chuuya to do stupid, petty things like steal snacks from the convenience store because things taste better when free

Also, after a night of staying up late watching cheesy horror movies, Dazai compelling Chuuya to stay home from work the next day.

He cackles like a moustache-twirling villain when Chuuya crosses the road after the light turns red and holds up traffic.

Also, tiny!demonzai sitting on Chuuya's shoulder because he gets a nice view of the world and constantly asks Chuuya what he's eating while out at a restaurant by himself. At one point he's really interested in the pastry Chuuya's eating, and ask-demands for a bite, lil demon tail waving around in excitement and his eyes sparkling. Chuuya tears off a tiny piece to get Dazai to shut up.

He also demands for the world's tiniest comb to brush his hair with, and Chuuya runs into a dilemma since he doesn't know where he would get the world's tiniest comb when tiny!demonzai just barely fits in the palm of his hand. Chuuya improvises by taking clothes and accessories from dress-up dolls to give to Dazai. Dazai's too lazy to become human-sized.

One day Chuuya looks in the mirror after waking up, and as he's about to splash water on his face, he says to himself, "Man, I look terrible."

He hears a tiny voice, "Yeah, you do. But we're in this together, don't worry."

So, I saw the French production of Les Misérables at the Théâtre du Châtelet and oh my fucking godddd.

I loved it so much, I was pretty close to the stage so I had a great view (I was on a folding seat tho so my ass was KILLING me but it was worth it lmao)

The set was so rich and cleverly arranged, very detailed and dynamic, i really thought it was impressive (I had only seen in live the staged concert before that so it was a big jump in terms of staging), and the costumes were gorgeous, I would kill to get a more thorough look at them.

The actors were fantastic, Fantine got tears out of me almost immediately, Valjean seemed so gentle and lovely, Cosette and Marius were the cutest, Javert was so driven and intimidating, Enjolras was OOZING righteous fury and determination it was crazy, Gavroche was so funny and playful, Grantaire was more optimistic than he usually is but you get to see him gradually lose hope and that's heartbreaking, The Thénardiers were more sinister than usual though still pretty funny in an awful way if you know what I mean, and Eponine's feelings were so raw I loved it.

As a bilingual french girl, being able to compare the lyrics in the two languages was sooo interesting, and I do sometimes have issues with french songs but those were genuinely soo good, so yeah, loved it.

Extensive yapping below the cut, be warned :

Gavroche's death was AWFUL, he dragged himself all the way back while still trying to sing before collapsing, you could hear people gasping and sobbing

Some actors were entering from the back of the theater, and since I was at the end of the row they were literally right next to me, during the finale an actor was singing almost in my ear while waving his flag lmao, it was so cool

The Amis de L'ABC's death was as painful as ever, shout out to the guy playing Enjolras who had to stay hanging from one leg for at least a good minute, i wouldn't have wanted to be in his place lmao

Valjean actually lifting the cart was super cool btw, that's my favorite senior citizen with ungodly strenght right there

The prostitues being more solidary with Fantine than the factory women and trying to protect her from Javert was a nice touch i think

The audience couldn't help snorting when Eponine sang the french version of "little he knows little he sees" because she was saying something like "y comprend rien" in a tone that clearly read something like "is he fucking stupid wtf", even though it's actually pretty sad

When Valjean and Javert were fighting right after Fantine's death, the nuns were trying to stop them (and more specifically Javert because mf had a whole-ass rifle, man was NOT playing) from killing each other, so when Valjean knocked the gun out of Javert's hands one of the nun grabbed it, panicked, looked around and hid it under a patient's mattress lmao.

Marius deadass nearly knocked himself uncouncious against the wall of Valjean's property while climbing it, it was weirdly endearing to see and sooo in character

During Empty Chairs At Empty Tables (Seul Devant Ces Tables Vides), instead of the students coming back in the background to bring candles, their shadows were projected behind Marius and somehow it made me cry even harder (also it fitted the whole "phantom shadows on the floor" bit super well)

Javert's suicide had me clutching my pearls because I actually thought for a second he'd fall for real

During the wedding scene, Thénardier tried to make the orchestra play again because he interupted them, called "maestro", but it was a woman so she corrected him and the whole audience clapped for her for a good minute, you could see Thénardier's actor trying not to smile it was pretty cute

Grantaire was so playful and touchy with all the Amis it was adorable, he kept fucking around just for their amusement and urgh I love him so much you know ? Also he took such good care of Gav and crumbled when he died :(

Gavroche was soooo insolent, it took two people to drag him away from Javert when he was roasting him on the barricade (also right after Stars Gavroche said that Javert thought he was "le p'tit Jésus" lmaoo)

Enjolras tried to hug Grantaire after Gav's death but R flinched away </3

Also one of the students (idk which one it was, I think it might've been Courf or Joly but i'm not sure) noticed Eponine dying in Marius' arms and ran to get bandages but he was too late :(

When Enjolras asks all the women and fathers to leave, the scene where everyone was saying goodbye was heartbreaking, you didn't even needed to hear them talk, I really liked that they took the time to show that

I swear Enjolras had so much energy, man was RUNNING around to get his point across (My mom elbowed me so hard when he started singing, she knows what's up)

Cosette actually recognized Eponine, and for a second they just stared at each other like "oh, shit, I know you"

I know the students also being guests for the wedding is because they needed people to fill the roles but I like to think there's a symbolic behind it and they were there in spirit because I am in Denial tm

Also Grantaire doing everything and anything to catch Enjolras' attention during Red And Black !!!! Joking around, patting or downright grabbing his arm, bumping shoulders, constantly calling his name....my boys !!! I love them so much <3

What if this does not belong to you

Turned out to just be someone else's lies?

I still have no idea how I'm actually formatting this project or anything, but fuck it, every bit of creating and musing on it helps, right? So - character board for the main character & POV of Vide - Rachel Ram, later known as Sidney Shepard.

The funny thing is, Sid doesn't consider Rachel as a deadname, not really. Rachel was... well. She was.

Rachel liked exploring the woods and studying bugs and watching stolen scary movies when she could play hooky from church or school. She spent way too much money on rigged games in the arcade, then way too much time digging through long-lost closets and crawlspaces when the place was shut down and abandoned. Rachel wrote shitty poetry and drew weird shit in journals she kept sandwiched between the mattress and boxspring, she loved Goosebumps and Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark, and was fascinated by folklore and mythology; the ideas of living gods or spirits lurking in the air, the grass, the rivers and seas.

Rachel was scared and lonely and so, so very brave, because she kept going, and kept dreaming of a future, even if she wasn't sure what form it would - could - take. She wanted to be a musician when she grew up, or maybe an actor or a comic artist, and have three (exactly) dogs.

Sid has done a lot of shitty, less than legal things in her life, and she's hoping to add 'vandalizing a grave' to that list one of these days - though, is it vandalizing, when it's your own? Either way - Rachel isn't dead, isn't gone - just grown up and changed, no different than the grubs and catterpillars she tried (and often - but not always - failed) to raise. A unique, distinct phase that deserves a hell of a lot better than being some empty casket.

What gift would your favorite character most like to receive and what would they give to their loved ones?

okay, ive got 3 characters im gonna be going with, 1 from bobs and 2 from paranatural bc you WILL be seeing me talk about it often

Zeke (Bob’s Burgers):

i think, in a “dream wish, this probablys never gonna to happen but i can hope for it” kinda way, he would want some really high end cooking equipment. stand mixer, cast iron skillets, butane torch, maybe a sous vide cooker? something that would let him expand his culinary prowess and what he can create

when it comes to what he gives others as gifts i think he would buy little things, like trinkets and such, that the giftee had never expressed interest in, and it all ends up being very hit or miss. either they absolutely love it or hate it , no in between. hell put a lot of thought into whatever hes looking at but sometimes something will grab his eye and hell grab it on impulse, but hes always so excited when he presents it that even if the giftee hates it they cant help but smile bc zeke saw this (absolutely horrible) thing, thought of them, and then got it all bc he thought they would like it

Max Puckett (Paranatural):

to be honest i dont know what max would want. a new scooter and a key to his friends house are obvious answers that im trying to look past. i think possibly something like backstage passes to an insolent children concert or like the ability to spend the day with shred eagle and do a bunch of stunts/tricks. something where he gets to meet and share his interests with someone he admires

i feel like max would give ppl mix tapes he put together. like, he would present it as no big deal, say that he just put a bunch of  random songs on a disc, but no 2 would be the same, there would be a flow to the songs, and it would be a mix of bands they know and bands theyd never heard of that all somehow fit to their exact music tastes

Isabel Guerra (Paranatural):

i think she would want something that is HERS. no one elses. something new, not used, not a hand me down, and something that she doesnt have to share with others. the curse of growing up in a poor household with multiple ppl and sharing your toothbrush for who knows how long with like 4 others

gift wise, i think she tries to make homemade gifts but ends up making them 1. way more complicated than needs to be 2. way above her skill level and 3. takes on way more projects than she can handle. i think she would see that someone likes sweaters and go okay 👍 then try to teach herself to knit, plan a cable knit sweater, and then if its not perfect itll be a big blow to her self esteem. i think someone would say that theyre cold and she would go okay 👍 ive got 2 weeks, i think im going to make them a quilt then pick the most complicated pattern. someone says they like a piece of furniture left on the side of the street to be thrown out and she goes okay 👍 then grabs it in the middle of the night, strips and sands it down then restores it for them. she spends like a month and a half leading up to the holidays operating on 3-4 hours of sleep and if asked why shes doing this to herself shed say that shes saving money by doing the work herself (even tho with cost of materials shes really, really not). i think she just likes a challenge and feels the need to prove herself

its a beautiful life. fynn hits 100k written this year. it's been a long journey and i thank everyone who has ever even clicked onto a work of mine. its difficult, sometimes, being stupid and a writer simultaneously. ignore the low numbers im a small fandom writer and i have a nother account ok

similarly, my mcsrtober also reached 1k hits which makes it my first fic with 1k hits yay thank you <3

highlights below. im gonna ramble ofc i am

swallow's mate. yeah its not the longest fic ever but i put so much time and effort and i am so so so so so so so proud of it and will always be. the world is a river of crackling chaos and i am the vengeance that simmers inside it

hiraeth. YES I WILL FINISH IT ONE DAY. ITS GOT REALLY NICE LORE. being the first bigger project i've tried to write since i unretired from mcsr, i adored being able to a) worldbuild and b) WRITE IN CHAPTERS. its so hard to write fics in one go my patience wears itself out

lappel du vide. you know nothing about lappel yet. you know nothing, but the plan was like 4k words and now you know something. boy do i have things planned for these stupid ranked runners. the darkness came when doogile was just a boy, after all

mcsrtober. im not as proud of my mcsrtober because i like editing things over and over and over again and mcsrtober simply doesnt allow the time for that. however i think i cooked really hard on some of the prompts and the ones yet to come (peepocute banger one on the 26th i think). like day 2. a full-on 4+1 fic. beautiful

there's a lot to come, i think. theres so many thoughts and not enough time to express them, and im only going to get more and more busy from now on. it's going to be walright. you know, theres a cool thing called a winter big bang, and the word count is projected to be around 18k...and its a oneshot...........................

then i can retire from writing longfics in one go and go back to chaptered becuase WOW chaptered is easier. AHHHHHHH
