N25! Luka, MEIKO, KAITO confronting reader

You were sitting in Empty SEKAI, it seemed that no one was close so you just layed there tiredly. What you didn't knew tho was that Luka made her way up to you.

"Taking a nap~?"

She spoke as if nothing specific was on her mind, with small smile as she sat next to you.

"If you don't mind, I wanted to talk about one specific topic."

"Sure! What's on your mind?"

"Tell me, why are you so afraid to reach out for help? From what I know, everyone from group wanted to help you. Especially Kanade"

She was rather straightforward but that's because she wanted to know the truth and maybe even help you realize that you're not alone.

When you stayed quiet, she took your hand in hers and gently rubbed the back of it to give you a bit of comfort.

"You can tell me. I can promise you that I'll keep this secret to myself~"

(She does indeed keep it a secret but she does say few clues in front of other members... but not enough clues to easily realize the truth)

MEIKO is known to keep her distance in SEKAI but right now you were laying in bed, thinking or talking to yourself to vent a bit and brown haired girl appeared on your phone. She immidietly made her presence known so even if you talked to yourself, she didn't heard anything.

"Y/N..."

"O-Oh, MEIKO! Hi, what are you doing here...?"

"I wanted to talk. I'll get straight to the point. I think you need to allow Kanade and others to help you."

When you stayed quiet, she did the same. She just stared at you waiting for your answer, so you don't have a choice but say something or you'll be left with her staring at you, waiting for your answer.

"I just... I don't want to..."

"Everyone are worried about you. Do you want me to tell them what you're struggling with? Or do you prefer to do it yourself?"

And in that moment, she gives you a choice. If you prefer her to tell them about if, she will say it as gently as she can. But if you decide that you'll tell them yourself, she'll do her best to support you through this time and help you get your courage to face them.

Of course KAITO noticed how you're avoiding confrontation with your group. He tried ignoring it for some time but of course he can't stay quiet forever so he finally confronts you the moment you're alone in Empty SEKAI and he's rather straightforward about it.

"Y/N. You need to tell your group about your feelings."

"What? But I don't really want-"

"You can't hide it anymore. You need to start thinking of yourself as well. After all, they only want to help you!"

That was the moment when you knew he's not going to let go so easily, but he also doesn't do it just to make your life worse, quite the opposite...

"Listen, I'm willing to help you but you also need to want this. They'll discover the truth eventually so I think it'd be better if you tell them yourself."

He's really determinated to help you through it and get your courage up to tell your group about your real feelings. He might've been pretty presistant right now but you can be sure that later on, he'll be more supportive but he'll also push you forward a bit whenever you stop in your tracks.

Popping In My Heart!

Tbh, I think you could show me just about any MEIKO card and I would love it. Love the colours, love the vibes. 10/10

Not a massive fan of how bright the colours are, but it does fit the whole concept pretty well, and I want his outfit. 9/10

She's honestly super cute here. Emu cards are very 50/50 for me, and this just so happens to be one I like (for the same reasons as Tsukasa) 9/10

Might be biased because Nene is my favourite, but this is like, one of her most fun cards. The colours work well, though I don't think I'd want her outfit. 9/10

Theme Announcement for November 2024 Vocaloid Song Tournament

It is time again for a Vocaloid song tournament, so what is the theme this time? Well, for the second time this year, we have a repeat theme! And considering what day it is, you probably guessed what the theme will be. That's right: MEIKO songs again to commemorate her 20th anniversary!

20 years ago today, MEIKO made history as the first Japanese Vocaloid, though it would take Miku for the software to really take off. Still, MEIKO walked so that Miku could run and we need to recognize that. As such, I've been much more careful with the competing songs this year.

Last year I used a lot of songs from compilation albums celebrating previous anniversaries, and in hindsight that was not the best decision. We need songs in the tournament where at least tens of thousands of people have listened to MEIKO's voice. I believe I found such songs as well as some familiar faces from last year, so there's something to look forward to! Oh, but Evil Food Eater Conchita is ineligible since it won 2 Vocaloid song tournaments previously.

This tournament will start a week from now, which is November 12th at 10 PM CT! Until then, there will still be daily off-season matches with songs from the recently concluded tournament. Regardless of the poll you see, be sure to vote, reblog, spread harmless propaganda, and have fun! And happy anniversary, MEIKO!

You used to have pretty... gorgeous wife... she always loved flying and told you stories how she wished she could go in time to become stewardess like she always dreamed. She had beatiful short brown hair and brown eyes filled with child-like energy and excitment. But unfortunely, few months ago, she passed away...

You were not flying on a plain, trying not to think too much about it, to not start breaking down in public. That's when stewardess approached you, seemingly noticing you were looking a bit down.

"Excuse me, do you need anything? You seem a bit down..."

"I'm good."

You answered without looking up from your book, trying to brush them off without sounding mean.

"Are you sure? I could make you [your favorite tea]?"

"No-"

You stopped yourself, thinking it'd actually be nice... it was a while ever since you had one of these after all...

"Sure, thank you."

"I'll bring it to you as quick as possible!"

And with that energy, she walked away leaving you to your book. You could just sigh as you flipped to another page, distarcting yourself a bit from the reality.

Few minutes later, a cup of tea was placed in front of you, the smell alone was enough to make you drool...

"Here you go, I hope you're gonna like it~"

Carefully taking the cup into your hands, you took small sip from it to just see if it still tastes like you remembered it... and it surely did, to your surprise! Not even like any from cafes you were at... it tasted exactly like the tea your wife used to make...

You finally smiled gently to yourself and looked up at the stewardess who was taking care of you this whole time, wanting to thank her sincerely for doing such a good job.

"Thank you-"

You stopped quickly after 2nd word, noticing the lady in front of you was oddly similiar to someone you had strong feelings towards... she looked exactly like your wife, MEIKO.

"Is there something wrong?"

She asked, seemingly confused... that kinda made you realize how uncomfortable you must've made her, quickly shaking your head, trying to not seem like a creep.

"No! I just... the tea is very good... thank you..."

"I'm glad I still know how to make it~"

"What-?"

Leaving you confused, stewardess simply gave you a little wink while chuckling and moving away. Meanwhile you were absolutely confused... were you right? Was this MEIKO?! But... that can't be... can it?
