His favorite place of all times is where the biggest tree is placed at. Up there, Luffy can see about anything: the many houses in the big town, the trash the bad humans leave, the village, the port, his mother, his father.

Each time felt better than before. Being high up made Luffy feel so small and he soon realized that there's so much of the world he hasn't seen yet.

Good humans, bad humans. Good villages, bad villages.

It didn't matter.

Luffy wants to see it all.

Then he heard leaves shuffle.

His whole body stiffened and he quickly turned around to prepare himself to defend in case of an attack.

Instead, he was met with a mop of dirty raven hair, another kid slightly older than Luffy.
