I had an autism denial phase and I distinctly remember one of my friends telling me I was probably autistic and dismissing this but at the same time is was the same sort of denial I had for my bisexuality and gender identity where as soon as I knew what these things where a part of me knew that I would one day identify with them I just wasn’t ready yet
#and when i mean as soon as it was immediate#I knew about trans people as multiple of my friends had come out but when I went to a GSA meeting and had them defined I was like oh.#also I didn’t know what they meant by preferred pronouns and thought you just picked your favorites so I almost said they them#because those are obviously the best but realized it was what people called you#I did not realize I could choose what I wanted to be called… but a little part of me knew#it was this moment where I was like oh gender wow. but you know I’m not really similar in personality to the two trans people I know so I’m#probably not trans
