I am so sick and tired of seeing all these “I know biden is bad, I know biden has done some bad things but vote for biden because trump will destroy our democracy” posts bc a) clearly our democracy is a sham and b) STOP DEFENDING BIDEN, STOP DOWNPLAYING WHAT HE HAS DONE! you do not need to, nor should you, defend biden to any degree. you can say that we cannot let trump win without that other bullshit. biden is pure evil, he is scum. and part of what makes him so horrendous and disturbing is the charade he puts on like he’s the good guy and trump is the evil, the bad to his good. quite literally the only thing that he has going for him is that his opponent is somehow even worse than him. that his opponent has no pretense of even trying to act like he doesn’t want to fully be a dictator. stop fucking defending biden. stop fucking downplaying all the horrendous, despicable, evil things he has done and is continuing to do. he is fully funding and supporting and enabling a genocide. it helps no one.
and if/when biden loses, he only has himself to blame.
ideally we would all rally behind a third party candidate and the electoral college wouldn’t exist. ideally these wouldn’t be our “choices”. idfk what to do because trump cannot win but how can any of us in good conscience vote for biden’s evil, fascistic, decrepit ass ??
what makes biden so different from or better than trump? nothing!!
- he is unconditionally supporting netanyahu and his genocide of Palestinians
- democrats have done nothing to protect nor help us as roe v. wade was overturned, we still have student loan debt, the cost of living is unaffordable and the minimum wage remains unchanged, biden has increased police presence and funding for police (more so than in 2020, despite the eruption of BLM protests and the murder of George Floyd and his promise to George Floyd’s family that he wouldn’t let his murder become just another number, another hashtag), and so. much. more.
- biden is building off of trump’s policies - specifically and most recently, biden has just announced an executive order to deny asylum requests. the increase in police funding and the further militarization of police was also built off of trump’s policies
the u.s. is an evil sham of a country.

“Abortifacients” Silk Twill Scarves
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Intended as a protest against the state of reproductive healthcare access in America, the Abortifacients scarf is illustrated with herbs that have been used throughout history to terminate unwanted pregnancies. In our modern times, it's harrowing to imagine some people turning to such a life-threatening last resort when the medical technology for safe pregnancy termination exists just out of legal reach. These herbs are dangerous even when used correctly, and many of them work simply because they are literally poisonous.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can find them here:
www.logandria.com
$10 from each scarf sold will be donated to The National Network of Abortion Fund's Collective Power Fund, which distributes grants to abortion funds across America, with a focus on the South and Midwest, where it’s often most difficult to access a safe abortion. These funds offer direct funding and practical support to individuals who need to access reproductive care in or out of the states they live in.

PROJECT 2025 is a THREAT to Democracy
Biden dropped out of the race smfh. He's endorsing Kamala Harris. I want a woman in the presidential office. A woman wouldn't take away our right to abortion. Project 2025 is so dangerous and horrifying. I used the Find in Page feature to search up keywords. Project 2025 calls trans people pdf files and pornography; transgender people will also be barred from enlisting into the military. Project 2025 seeks to eliminate critical race theory.
They want to erase identities and put teenagers back into factories and slaughterhouses because of "labor shortages" (search the phrase: hazard-order regulations). Feels like history is going in reverse. We are living in a dystopia.
They are so SHAMELESS about their Christian autocracy that they put in print on their website! Read it for yourself:

I’ve been seeing a lot of discussions/discourse on tumblr and twitter surrounding kamala/voting for kamala so I want to put my two cents in as someone who will have no actual influence towards the outcome of the election
(important parts with be in bold)
Let’s look at the hypothetical that trump wins because the vote was split or people simply just refused to and kamala didn’t gain enough votes to win.
In the scenario, I want every person who decided it would be better not to vote or vote for a random third party candidate who has no shot at winning who only comes up during election years to say all of the “not like the other guys” talking points to explain to not just me but every queer, trans, disabled, non white, AFAB person who is now at severe risk why you chose to not vote to help them have rights. I want to see your explanations if trump wins. you also cannot use Palestinians suffering to make yourself seem better than you actually are
My point is that if trump wins because your delusions lead you to believe that you can single handedly change the way elections work in this country by “sticking it to the dems” and trump wins and we become a facist state, I want to hear what you have to say when we all start loosing rights and palestine gets wiped off the map
“Well we won’t let that happen” Good fucking luck. In project 2025 im pretty sure there is a section about how we basically won’t be able to protest anything anymore, not only that im also pretty sure trump has talked about deporting pro palestine protesters specifically!
You cannot be a single issue voter in this election and in many elections to come. Change doesn’t happen overnight and you need to wake up and realize that kamala will be the start of actually getting more progressive candidates and policies even if it’s not enough right now at this very moment. We all have to actually start putting in the effort instead of sitting around on our asses complaining
If we get kamala in, we won’t have to worry about our country becoming a facist state therefore we can worry more about palestine and putting more pressure on the dems than there already is. That should be a no brainer to some of you
This post isn’t praising kamala or trying to idolize her in anyway, always be critical of politicians. This post is more of a message to the preformative leftists on tumblr and twitter who have zero knowledge on how the US government works.
It’s kamala or trump this november. We cannot change that less than 100 days away from election day
Should I repeat myself? I hope you can understand that.
I’m not trying to bash anyone for continuing to put pressure on kamala and the dems for being complicit in bombing children. That’s not who my post is about like I already said
I think that all the protests outside of the DNC are especially important because it shows we have not forgotten and will continue to put pressure on the dems to do the right thing for once
but like I already said, it’s kamala or trump. Third party candidates are either grifters who only are there to get money and trick gullible leftists or candidates who have never been in any lower level political positions who think they can automatically garner a shit ton of support to win when they can’t. Your other option is to not vote which is arguably worse
I’m not trying to be the one to change anyones mind but I hope this post can help you reconsider your options and start facing the reality of this election
You have an important choice to make this november. I hope you can make the right one
edit: im not trying to beg anyone to vote for kamala or make anyone who is against her because of her handling of Palestine vote for kamala, especially if you are Palestinian yourself. Im not trying to make anyone feel bad about it either. Thats not the point of this post. The point is that change needs to happen now and this election is a perfect start to do so. We cannot have good change under a second trump term. I know im just repeating myself at this point but I want to put this out there incase I come off wrong or offensive. Also, I dont like the dems at all. I dont align with their party but you shouldnt even care abt what party I align with most. Im not a pro activist whose been in the game for 10+ years, im just a trans boy who has essentially been forced to pay attention to the shit going on in the country because of who I am even though it shouldn't concern me nearly as much as it does.
second edit: check out this tiktok and this persons other tiktoks abt palestine and kamala

Idiots are still posting anti-voting rhetoric and trying to pretend thats the morally correct stance. Acting like advocating for voting for Harris is only coming from libs that dont care about Palestine.
If Trump had a better stance on Israel, i could at least understand the antagonism against voting Harris. Trump does not have a better stance on Israel. Trump thinks Biden hasnt helped Israel enough, so i dont think his plan is to help Palestine.
The reason the leftist choice for president is currently being decided on domestic issues is because the current biggest foreign affairs issue will not be solved by either candidate. There is no overlap of "politicians against the genocide in Palestine" and "people that could possibly be elected president in 2024".
The biggest domestic issue currently on the ticket, american democracy and the administrative state, has a clear winner if you care even the tiniest amount about democracy or our governments ability to function.
If you are planning to not vote for Harris, if you are encouraging people to "protest" the vote or vote 3rd party, you are choosing facism.

Trigger warning for Abortion and Rape
The TLDR is kids are smarter than you give them credit for, and if they’re old enough to experience it, they’re old enough to know about it.
The other day I was scrolling through instagram and found a reel about a twelve year old speaking out against pro-life rhetoric and restrictive abortion bans, to which the comments all said
“Why are parents forcing their kids to do this/exposing them to such concepts as rape?”
I decided not to comment this there because I didn’t want it attached to my personal account, but that child has likely hit puberty and may be capable of pregnancy. Pedophiles and creeps exist. That’s not even mentioning COCSA. Children should know terms and how to protect themselves.
Personally, I’ve known what this is since I was 7 because I’m a COCSA survivor. My parents blame themselves for not teaching me the proper terms to protect myself. And I was 7, I shouldn’t have to know what sex is. But it still does and did happen. I’m not saying show children porn to teach them, but at least let them they have bodily autonomy and anatomy and they don’t have to do anything they don’t want to. And if something does happen, there are safe adults to talk to.
And going into the puberty part, at 12 they’ve likely had the talk. They know that sex creates children and that rape is what happens when it’s non consensual. And also the news exists. When I was 12-13 I remember seeing the Me Too movement blow up on the news and realize “hey, this is something that has happened to me”. Likewise, Roe V. Wade being overturned ended up on the news. Children are seeing the stories about kids their age giving birth. You hear adults all the time complain about “teen pregnancy”. They hear and they notice. Kids are a lot smarter than y’all give them credit for. They see this and realize this can happen to them.
As said before, we don’t have to go into gratuitous detail to teach kids to protect themselves, but just enough they know how to.
