Niko & The Principal

So, I had a random thought just now. After the announcement of the cancellation, Steve Yockey, the showrunner/director, spoiled that the Principal, the woman who is the Night Nurse's superior, is Niko Sasaki.

I’ve always been confused about that though because what? How did she go from a normal girl to some sort of eternal trans-dimensional being running the Afterlife Lost & Found Department?? Who the fuck knows what’s going on with the Sprites and that bear charm?! Weird shit, that’s for sure!

But anyway, I had the thought. Is it possible that agents of the Afterlife start out as mortal beings?

Maybe they lived a normal life, and the circumstances of their death or something about them made them eligible for those positions. Maybe they were chosen.

If you’ve seen Rise of the Guardians, you’ll know what I mean.

Brief summary for those who haven’t. Rise of the Guardians follows typical fairytale and holiday magical beings that are referred to as Guardians who protect the children of humanity through what they offer. Santa Claus brings wonder, the Easter Bunny brings hope, the Sandman brings dreams, etc. The belief of the children is what gives them their powers.

Jack Frost is a magical being that no one actually believes in, so he is invisible and non-corporal. He’s selected by the Man in the Moon to be a new Guardian, but he’s pissed off because he doesn’t know anything about who he is or why he became Jack Frost.

The Tooth Fairy later tells him that they had Jack's memories in her palace from when he was alive, and she says that all of the Guardians were “someone before they were chosen”. They showed some type of trait that made the the Man in the Moon select them to be a Guardian.

Maybe the Afterlife works similarly? That's really the only way I could even begin to explain how the Principal is also Niko, and that still doesn't make sense since she's alive on Earth when the Night Nurse refers to her superior.

Ben 10: And Then There Were Ten

What is it —

An animated mini-series that is not only the second reboot of Ben 10, but is a complete clean slate with its own standalone continuity as it's a reboot and should be like that without having to tie into any sort of multiverse.

PREMISE:

Set in the fictional Bellwood, California, summer vacation has arrived and 10 year old cocky and childish but good-hearted Benjamin "Ben" Tennyson is more than looking forward to it as he just can't seem to catch a break especially when wanting to help others around him in need. It's here that he learns his mother Sandra, a once successful and big-shot lawyer now turned stay-at-home mom, is planning to spend the entire three month summer break finally getting to fully know her son since they were incredibly close when he was young but of course things changed once Ben grew up. This does not please Ben to say the least.

But what he doesn't know is that this summer, his entire life will forever change and lead him on the pathway to becoming a true hero when after walking off by himself into the Bellwood Forest as him and his mother are out camping and get into an argument, a shooting star comes down from the sky and nearly crashes into Ben. The "star" is revealed to be a pod that opens to reveal a glowing green device that looks like a watch it contains..... that proceeds to immediately attach itself to his left wrist.

Ben quickly learns that the watch gives him the ability to transform into over ten different aliens of all different shapes, sizes and powers. Finally realizing he can help people in need, he sees this as a way to become a hero.

However, in doing so, Ben finds himself the target of several extraterrestrial forces either wanting the watch for their own use or retrieving it for ruthless galactic warrior Vilgax with his sights set on it and sets off a chain of events that reveal his mother's secret past, the revelation of others' true identities and dragging two people into their own scenarios — Ben's crush Julie Yamamoto discovering their principal is in fact an alien named Xylene and Ben's rival Gwendolyn "Gwen" Frankenstein being kidnapped and put into the hands of deadly teenage sorceress Charmcaster.

NOTES/TRIVIA/DETAILS:

• The show will be done in the same animation style of the Original Series but with an updated look or overall aesthetic to it and what helps it is that plenty of actors and actresses from the original will reprise their roles. Tara Strong, Meagan Smith, Grey DeLisle, Steve Blum and others.

• The main subplot of Gwen and Charmcaster is heavily influenced by the Santa Claus and Oogie Boogie subplot from Tim Burton & Henry Selick's The Nightmare Before Christmas, albeit with its own distinct spin.

• Just like with the original first three shows, And Then There Were Ten will definitely have a very dark and intense edge to show the incredible danger and high stakes that the characters — not just Ben, but everyone else — are all in.

• If you're wondering what happened to Max? I had to exclude him because I wanted the focus for once to be on Ben's relationship with ANOTHER member of his family and what more could there be than his mother.

• Yes, Gwen is not related to Ben here as a clear throwback to her original concept in the original series. Here, she's the intelligent and well-read but obnoxious, stuck-up, spoiled, mean and manipulative brat that is loved by the teachers and hated by the students. It's through the events she's put in that she becomes a far better person and what better last name to give than FRANKENSTEIN.

El segon mes- Març passat per aigua🌨️

El mes de març ha estat molt més tranquil, ja que m’he sentit molt més adaptada i familiaritzada amb tota la feina. Tot i que he continuat realitzant tasques molt similars a les de febrer, m’he notat molt més àgil i segura a l’hora de dur-les a terme.

Rellegint les anotacions dels primers dies, m’he adonat de la importància de ser pacient amb una mateixa. Quan comences des de zero en un lloc nou, és normal sentir-se una mica perduda, sobretot amb els noms de les coses i les dinàmiques internes, ja que cada agència o empresa té la seva manera de fer. Per això estic molt contenta: amb només un mes més, sento que ja estic evolucionant i millorant molt.

A continuació, detallo les principals tasques que he realitzat aquest mes:

🔧 Revisió de modificacions a les landings

Una de les meves tasques habituals ha estat revisar els canvis aplicats a les pàgines web de CaixaBank Payments & Consumer. La Mireia, una de les Accounts amb qui treballo, és l’encarregada de gestionar aquesta web, que, tot i que pot semblar estàtica, en realitat s’actualitza constantment.

Aquest mes hem estat especialment centrades en revisar els continguts relacionats amb la política de privacitat, comprovant que les modificacions estiguessin ben aplicades en tots els idiomes. També hem detectat i marcat enllaços trencats perquè l’equip tècnic els pogués corregir. El procés de revisió es fa primer a través d’un previewer i, un cop tot és correcte, es revisa de nou a la web publicada.

✉️ Testing d’emails

He col·laborat en el testing d’enviaments d’email, comprovant que els continguts apareguin correctament en diferents dispositius i navegadors, i que tots els enllaços funcionin correctament.

📊 PowerPoint mensual de CPC: resum de l’activitat comunicativa

Durant el mes de març he col·laborat en l’elaboració del PowerPoint mensual de CPC, que recull totes les accions de comunicació realitzades. Aquest document està estructurat en quatre grans blocs:

1. Resum executiu i Content Plan

Aquest apartat dona una visió global i estratègica de les accions més destacades del mes. Es fa seguiment del content plan, és a dir, la planificació de continguts prevista i executada en un calendari del mes.

2. Comunicació externa

Aquest bloc recull totes les accions destinades a públics externs, i s’organitza en dues subcategories:

Clipping: recopilació de les aparicions de l’empresa en mitjans de comunicació.

Argumentaris: documents interns amb missatges clau per unificar el discurs de la marca.

Participació en mitjans: intervencions, entrevistes o col·laboracions de portaveus en mitjans de comunicació.

Gestió de comunicació en esdeveniments imprevistos: com s’ha gestionat la comunicació davant de situacions inesperades o de crisi.

2.2 Comunicació CPCFa referència específicament a les accions de comunicació del canal CPC:

Portal públic CPC: revisió i actualització dels continguts del web públic de CPC.

Xarxes socials: publicacions, calendari de continguts i interaccions als canals socials de CPC.

3. Comunicació a empleat

Aquest apartat se centra en la comunicació interna, adreçada als treballadors i equips:

📈 Revisió d’infografies

He revisat infografies per assegurar-me que la informació estigués ben estructurada i visualment clara, a més de validar que s’ajustessin als criteris marcats.

👋 Fitxa de benvinguda a l’Excel

Cada mes, hem de preparar una fitxa a Excel per registrar cada impacte comunicatiu que realitza CPC. Aquest mes, m’he encarregat personalment de l’elaboració de la fitxa corresponent a l’impacte de benvinguda. A aquesta fitxa s’inclouen tant el correu electrònic com l’SMS que s’utilitzaran, amb tots els detalls i continguts específics. Durant el mes, preparem diverses fitxes més en funció dels impactes que es vagin generant. Un cop creem la fitxa a Excel i la pujarem al SharePoint, també creem una fitxa al Planner per garantir que tota la informació estigui disponible per a tots.

He ajudat a preparar el planer d’activitats per al mes d’abril, organitzant tasques pendents o en curs.

📄 Revisió de CVs del Govern Corporatiu

He revisat els currículums dels membres del Govern Corporatiu per assegurar-me que estiguessin actualitzats i ben traduïts a tots els idiomes requerits.

📬 Revisió d’enviament postal

He revisat els detalls d’un enviament postal comparant-los amb un Excel per comprovar que tot coincidís: noms, adreces, continguts i dates.

🌐 Verificació de traduccions

Una altra tasca important ha estat revisar que les traduccions estiguessin ben aplicades en els diferents suports i canals, especialment en els documents legals i pàgines web.

Tanco el mes de març amb la sensació d’haver fet un pas endavant important. Tot i continuar amb tasques similars a les de febrer, aquest mes m’he sentit molt més segura i àgil. La familiaritat amb les eines, els processos i l’equip m’ha permès gaudir més de la feina i prendre més iniciativa. També he après que l’adaptació és un procés que requereix temps i paciència, però que, amb constància, cada dia s’aprèn i es millora. Març ha estat un mes de consolidació, però també d’evolució

MARÇ 2025

Clara Aragonés Yuste Ogilvy Segon Semestre 31/03/2025

Aquest mes de març de pràctiques a Ogilvy el puc definir com un període d’aprenentatge continu. A mesura que avanço en el meu procés d’adaptació, em sento cada vegada més segura amb les tasques que realitzo i encara més còmode i integrada amb el meu equip de treball. Ha estat un mes intens, de nous reptes i experiències enriquidores.

Pel que fa a les tasques desenvolupades, he continuat treballant en algunes funcions que ja coneixia com la publicació de comunicats, documents i noves campanyes a la plataforma d’ÁGORA, la recerca d’imatges als bancs d’imatges i l’assistència als status setmanals. No obstant això, també he tingut noves oportunitats d’aprenentatge i responsabilitats, ja que he participat en noves feines:

He iniciat l’elaboració de l’“Inventario de Piezas”, un document que recull totes les peces que Ogilvy ha produït al llarg de l’any per a Volskwagen Group After Sales. Es tracta d'un document que serveix per mantenir un registre organitzat de la feina feta i garantir a client una visió del volum de treball fet durant aquest temps. 

Hem començat a treballar en un esdeveniment anomenat “The Originals Fest 2025”, un projecte en què participen els Vehicles Comercials (furgonetes) de Volkswagen i que tindrà lloc el cap de setmana del 23-25 de maig. El nostre client (Volskwagen Group After Sales), ens va enviar les indicacions per aquest any i em vaig encarregar d’elaborar el brief amb la informació més rellevant que van enviar. Un cop definit, l’equip creatiu va pensar 3 propostes de conceptes i accions per portar a terme a l’estand del nostre client. Vaig tenir l’oportunitat d’assistir a la reunió on es van presentar aquestes idees dels creatius a client. Em va agradar molt poder estar present, veure les idees dels creatius, les propostes de peces i la forma de presentar i defensar els conceptes. Actualment, he començat a gestionar el tema de producció, contactant amb possibles proveïdors.

He après a gestionar el “report mensual” del portal d’ÁGORA i la web de Recambios Originales (RROO). Aquests documents són informes amb la informació principal del mes de l’anàlisi de dades com el nombre de visites a les webs i la seva evolució, si han augmentat o han disminuït les interaccions, etc.

A més de treballar en aquests projectes per Volskwagen Group After Sales, també he tingut l’oportunitat d’ajudar en altres feines per a diferents clients. Estic col·laborant en una campanya de Saba que implica l’enviament d’uns pòsters informatius sobre els pàrquings per a quatre països diferents. En aquest cas, m’he encarregat d’aspectes de producció i de parlar amb estudi i he buscat impressores webs de tubs d’enviament.

Més enllà de la feina feta dia a dia, hi ha hagut dies especials i moments destacats que m’agradaria mencionar com:

La benvinguda a la nova cafetera de Good News a l’oficina, ja que va ser un dia en el qual ens van donar tasses i tote bags de la marca a tots els treballadors i vam poder gaudir de cafè i matcha gratis durant tot el matí.

La xarrada que vam tenir el 14 de març anomenada “The Force is Feminist” en honor al dia de la dona, en la que quatre dones van presentar projectes creatius personals molt inspiradors que van voler compartir amb nosaltres.

El dinar d’equip que vam tenir el mateix dia de la xarrada, que vam organitzar per donar la benvinguda a un nou creatiu. Vam anar a un restaurant a prop de l’oficina anomenat “L’actiu” i va ser una estona de desconnexió i on vam poder conèixer-nos millor fora de la feina.

En definitiva, aquest mes he pogut començar a notar el meu creixement dins d’aquesta experiència. Puc afirmar que he consolidat coneixements, he adquirit noves habilitats i he pogut viure de primera mà processos clau dins l’agència.

Tinc moltes ganes de continuar aprenent i veient com evolucionen els projectes en els quals estic treballant!

A Daydreamer's Holiday Movie Marathon: The Santa Clause 2

Eight years have passed since Scott Calvin has taken the mantle of Santa Claus through The Santa Clause and he doesn't plan on stopping soon. Unfortunately, Head Elf Bernard and Curtis (who is the Keeper of The Handbook of Christmas) informs him of another clause called, The "Mrs. Clause" in which he must get married before the next Christmas Eve or else the clause will be broken and he will ripped from his Santa duties forever. To make matters worse, his son Charlie has made his way onto The Naughty List because he vandalized school property. He discusses this news with The Council of Legendary Figures before Curtis comes up with a plan to have another Santa (an animatronic Santa) taking care of the workshop while Scott is back home searching for a new wife and fixing things with Charlie much to Bernard's dismay. Scott returns home to Charlie, Laura (Scott's ex wife), Niel (Laura's new husband), and the introduction of Lucy (Laura and Niel's daughter) who quickly assumes that Scott could be Santa. After Charlie defaces some lockers, he and Scott are met with the school principal, Carol Newman. As Christmas Eve is around the corner, the animatronic Santa has followed the rulebook too seriously and eventually takes over the workshop with giant toy soldiers and plot to give all the children coal.

I saw this movie after watching The Santa Clause 3 and I quickly found myself enjoying it. I liked how this film basically expanded on the first film with all the new characters who I grew attached to in the third film. I thought it was pretty interesting for Scott to find another wife after things fell through with Laura. I enjoyed seeing how Scott and Carol's relationship flourished. I also enjoyed the conflict with Charlie with how much he's grown up since the first movie. I enjoyed the shenanigans with the animatronic Santa which led to him becoming an antagonist. I think when it comes to this franchise I enjoy the sequels more than the original. They're just so fun!

Christmas - Part 1 -

Saul shivered as he walked into the house. He awkwardly removed his snow-covered boots and coat. Then he glanced at the watch that sat in the foyer. Shit. He hobbled down the hallway to the living room. Sky was waiting for him, his eyes fixed on the big fir tree lit by large golden garlands. His face, at first joyful, turned darker when he saw his father's condition. He was strangely pale and looked insecure.

"Are you all right?

- Sure, but if I don't get to the shower soon, Ben will kill us. Are you ready? "

Sky nodded.

"I've already put the presents under the tree and dinner is in the oven.

- Good boy, don't forget that Terra doesn't...

- Yes, I know, smiled the young teenager, Terra believes in Santa Claus. And that's just great !

- Thanks, son. "

He walked slowly to the bathroom, delighted that Sky had slipped away to his room. He let the water run, turned up his temperature, and undressed. Damn. He definitely had a fever and a bad ankle.

Sky on the other hand wasted no time in getting busy. All he needed to do was wrap a gift, the most important one. And fortunately, judging by the noise of the water of the shower, the principal concerned could not interrupt it. He didn't have much time, as Silva was a regular in flash showers. Where was the scotch? Damn. Sky was an organized boy most of the time, but right now his room looked more like a big mess. As he stood up with the intention of running to Saul's office to retrieve some tape, he slipped on a leftover piece of wrapping paper and swore as pain shot through his ankle. Shit. Hobbling to the kitchen, he retrieved a bar of ice cream and hobbled out after retrieving the precious scotch.

Saul turned off the water even faster than usual. He could hardly keep his footing. He changed quickly and went to the kitchen. He grabbed a small ice pack, wrapped it in a clean cloth and applied it to his ankle. Fortunately, with his slightly oversized boots, a gift from Sky years before, he could keep the ice on without it being noticeable. His fever, however, was more of a concern. He was freezing while the stove was running full blast. Why did a simple cold always have to turn into something more restrictive? He hobbled back to his room, put on a sweater and a vest and... Shit, the oven. The doorbell rang. Shit, shit, shit. He winced as he sped up to get to the entrance. He glanced at the clock. Ben was early. Of course he was.

Secret Santa Clause

This is a rough draft but it is basically a salty Christmas fic...at least I think it counts as salty?

The class is holding a Secret Santa event on their class group chat. Knowing Chloe, Caline states the following rules:

1. The budget for each gift is 20 euros.

2. You must give a present once a week.

3. The present must be thoughtful. (This was aimed at Chloe since last time she just gave out her photos, hand me downs and autographs.)

Imagine Marinette’s surprise when she receives Lila’s name in her secret Santa email. Groaning, Marinette is silently grumpy for a while until she hits an epiphany. The presents have to be thoughtful, but the receiver doesn’t necessarily have to like them.

And Marinette can use this loophole to her advantage.

Marinette has Alya swear secrecy because she only hates Chloe and Lila so the suspects for who she has to give presents to were obvious once Alya noticed Marinette’s sour mood on the phone. In return, Marinette promises to give nice gifts and will even let Alya inspect them.

1st week: Lila received a commonplace but newly released Ladybug purse. She feigns joy but Marinette knows Lila hates Ladybug even more than her. So while Lila is cooing over her ‘BFF’ merchandise, inside she is really....

Lila suspects Alya, Ladybug’s #1 fan might be her secret Santa. She doesn’t suspect Adrien because he knows she doesn’t like Ladybug and is too nice to give her a gift she wouldn’t like. Lila doesn’t suspect Marinette because if she would give Lila a piece of clothing, it would be really cheap but the ladybug purse cost about 20 euros, so yeah.

Meanwhile Marinette receives colourful beads she can use for her designs.

2nd week: Marinette gives Lila an experiment of her Dad’s baking that she vetoed for Christmas sales because girls like Chloe would scream at the sight of it. It is a tin of one large, sinful fudge brownie stuffed with caramel and marshmallow.

Marinette gives Alya a small piece and the latter approves. Marinette knows Lila can’t trace the dessert to her bakery because they don’t sell it. Alya gladly provides Marinette with the nondescript brownie tin. When Chloe and Adrien smell the brownie, one runs away from carbs and fats while the other bangs his head on the table and reminds himself of what he cannot eat. Lila just munches on it without care. Again she doesn’t suspect Marinette because she thinks her rival would just get her cheap chocolates, not a rich dessert.

Marinette herself gets beautiful hair ribbons. Like seriously...are these really below the budget?

3rd week: a cheap silver pearl bracelet that matches her earring. It seems harmless but Lila is still irked at being turned into a clam. She hates seafood and pearls because it reminds her of her third failure and humiliation. This time Lila can’t hide her initial reaction. She shied away from the pearls. Upon noticing her classmates’ confusion, she claims she thought the pearls were real and didn’t want to be the cause of so much monetary loss.

Marinette receives Christmas roses and wonders if her secret Santa is a secret admirer.

Christmas Eve: time for the reveal. The class meets up at a party in the park. So when Lila looks around for her secret Santa, she turns around to see a smirking Marinette saying, “Merry Christmas, Lila.”

Lila is surprised and feigns pleasantness. “Oh Marinette, you're my secret Santa?” Lila starts going over her list of presents. Marinette knew she was a liar and somehow found out she hated Ladybug- probably via Adrien. And the brownie was super rich which meant now Lila had to work out like crazy if she wanted to lose the excess fat. Plus, everyone knew about the clam incident. All along it had been Marinette spitefully giving her those “nice” presents.

“Yup.”

“Where’s my present?” The grand finale that Lila would have to grit her teeth and smile over. Oh Marinette will pay for this.

“Look behind you.” Alya was beaming at her friend, so proud Marinette made an exception during the holidays. Lila is suspicious of Marinette’s wide grin.

“Hello, Ma Bella.” Mrs Rossi smiled at her Daughter.

“Mum?” Lila gaped. Uh oh.

“I managed to convince your mom to spend a few hours off work to spend more time with you. I hope you like your present,” Marinette explained, barely hiding the smugness Lila knew she was feeling.

After talking it over with Alya, Marinette learns Mrs Rossi is constantly absent. She also knew Mrs Rossi was the perfect person to expose Lila.

Lila was panicked, she had to get her mother out of here before her classmates started asking about her work. She can claim to want some alone time with her Mother. Revenge against Marinette can wait.

But before Lila could usher her mother away, the latter spots Adrien and goes “Oh you must be Lila’s Boyfriend. It’s nice to finally meet you.”

Cue silence... then Chloe’s screech of fury.

“WHAT?”

Adrien looked surprised and horrified. “What?”

Marinette covered her mouth to muffle her laughter. “What?”

Lila laughs nervously. “I may have exaggerated that part, Mama.”

Mrs Rossi blinks. “Oh. Well then, thank you for keeping in touch with my Daughter when the school was shut down. Honestly, the incompetence of Ladybug and Chat Noir to have let the akuma run rampant for so long...”

Lila was aghast, silently plotting Marinette’s gruesome murder.

Caline was shocked. Shut down? What was Mrs Rossi talking about?

The classmates were furious. Incompetent? Their saviours? Who did Mrs Rossi think she was?

Adrien was denying the accusation of checking up on Lila, AND clarified he had only ever talked to her before her return to school via facechat, with the class, during school, when she was travelling to Achu with her Mother.

Mrs Rossi pauses, stunned, then turns to her Daughter. “Lila?”

Marinette: I should have brought chocolate popcorn.

After the whole exposure was revealed, Caline escorted the Italian Mother and Daughter to the principal’s office to discuss the ramifications of Lila’s lies. She asked the class to continue their festivities without her.

The class was silent from the event. Their Friend has been lying to them for months, had taken advantage of their kindness.

Marinette watched Nino comfort Alya, her face unreadable.

“Hey.” It was Adrien’s voice. Marinette turned to him.

“Hey yourself.”

“You planned this whole thing, didn’t you?”

“I didn’t plan Mrs Rossi to come at first. I was just going to ask Jagged to make a surprise visit.” And expose her for not knowing the rock star at all.

Marinette held Adrien’s gaze. She would not regret her actions. Lila had gotten her expelled, had gotten Kagami akumatized, and was a downright bully.

“Good.”

Marinette startled. She did not expect that answer.

Adrien rubbed his neck, “After she framed you, I made a deal with the devil. Either she got you back in school, or I end our friendship.”

Marinette felt a smile tug on her mouth. “You couldn’t find a way to prove she was lying either?”

Adrien shrugged. “I admit she is a master at lying, so I refused to play that game with her. I’ve been hoping she would slip up but that didn’t happen at all.”

Marinette grinned now. She kissed Adrien’s cheek on her tiptoes. “Well, thank you for helping me get back into school.”

Adrien cheeks were red. So cute. He stuck his hands out. In them was a worn sketchbook. “Merry Christmas Marinette, from your secret Santa.”

Marinette was the one blushing now. “You mean...you were secret my present? I mean, you were my Secret Santa?”

Adrien smiled softly at Marinette. “I was really happy to be the secret Santa for our Everyday Ladybug.”

Marinette’s smile was painfully wide now. She took the offered sketchbook, opened it, and saw rough sketches of outdated clothing. Wrinkling her brow, Marinette flipped through the pages, wondering why Adrien was giving her this.

Then she came to a certain page and saw a certain signature.

The shrill scream she emitted was louder than Chloe’s.

“An original Gabriel Agreste sketchbook?” Marinette looked at the old thing like it was the holy grail.

Adrien laughed. “Yeah, he didn’t mind giving it up. Of course, I had to find it in the attic first but the effort seems well worth it, given your reaction.”

Marinette took a deep breath, regaining control of herself. She looked up at Adrien again and, before her nerve failed her, asked, “Would you like to grab hot chocolate with me?”

Adrien beamed. “Nothing would make me happier.”

They walked out.

The class was left staring after them. In the previous silence, they heard the entire conversation. Marinette had been right all along and she had been a victim of Lila’s. Only Adrien successfully helped her get back to school.

Alya sobbed, guilt eating her alive. She was a terrible Best Friend.

The others were feeling horrible too. How could they ever make it up to her?

Nino took charge. He consoled Alya but said in a loud voice for them all to hear, “We’ll make it up to her. Someday.”

The rest nodded. Only Chloe was somehow silent before they realized that Alix had knocked her out when the blond looked like she was going to start screeching at Marinette for asking Adrien out.

Cue Sabrina starting to wake her BFF up.

Caline returns and informs the class that Lila has gone home. She does not mention the punishments the liar had gotten but insists they continue the Santa Claus event.

when school reopens, Lila is revealed to have been expelled.

Before that, Alya and everyone else but Chloe apologies to Marinette. She forgives them all.

Marinette finally breaks down the spite behind her gifts to Alya. Her BFF is so proud and even shrieks when Marinette admits her hot chocolate Friend-date yesterday ended in a mistletoe kiss.

Adrien meanwhile has a dreamy, rosy look on his face and doesn’t respond when Nino waves his hand up and down in front of him.

I kind of feel bad that their Christmas Eve was ruined, but oh well. For the record, the hair ribbons are costly because they use real silk and Swarovski crystals, but Adrien didn’t spend a dime on them because he just got them from free since their are Gabriel accessories. Gabriel doesn’t care.

For the record, Adrien’s secret Santa was Max. Lila gave pink stuff to Rose.

Aquell en el qual això només és el principi

Com algú va dir en el seu moment, tot el que comença, també arriba al seu final. I, encara que per a alguns això pugui ser desconcertant, a mi m'agrada pensar que els finals són simplement nous principis.

Quan vaig començar aquest blog, una de les meves principals inquietuds era no saber fins a quin punt la meva timidesa podria arribar a condicionar-me a l'hora d'expressar. Avui, després de tres mesos, estic orgullosa de poder dir que soc una persona més segura, i amb una major confiança en el meu treball i, sobretot, en mi mateixa.

Durant molt de temps, un dels meus objectius havia consistit a demostrar, sense importar el que fes, que el meu treball valia i que, en conseqüència, jo també. I si bé crec que aquesta és una part fonamental envers el món laboral, la meva experiència a Hashing Squad m'ha deixat aprenentatges a nivells més profunds. Qui em coneix sap que soc una persona molt testarruda, perfeccionista i, en moltes ocasions, algú que posa per damunt certs aspectes que per a molts poden no ser importants. No crec que això sigui una cosa dolenta, però, com tot, també té les seves parts negatives; entre elles, la pressió que poses en tu mateixa, aquest afany d'intentar superar-te contínuament i d'assegurar-te que, quan arriba el final del dia, estàs prou satisfeta perquè has donat el millor de tu. Tanmateix, la veritat és que, de tant en tant, les persones necessitem petits "cops de realitat" que ens permetin entendre que ni el bo, és tan bo, ni el dolent, tan dolent. Perquè la realitat és que els mals dies també existeixen.

Per a molts, tres mesos poden semblar pocs, però, des que vaig començar la carrera, crec que aquesta ha estat una de les poques èpoques en les quals realment he sentit que estava aprenent de veritat. Des de coses més tècniques com saber fer front a crisis i nous clients, passant per primeres reunions i saber organitzar-se internament per a afrontar pròximes campanyes (contacte amb influencers, fotògrafs, etc.), crec que Hashing Squad ha estat un període de creixement professional, però sobretot, personal.

Des del meu punt de vista, el més important que he après en aquesta petita, però important aventura, és que, sense ganes, poc pots fer. Ha d'agradar-te el que fas perquè, al final, és aquesta il·lusió de saber que estàs fent el que sempre has volgut la que t'empeny a continuar endavant. Un altre aprenentatge clau ha estat poder conèixer què significa treballar sota les ordres d'algú i que tan valuós és saber fer-se al que aquesta persona et demana. A la carrera, estem acostumades a fer feina en equip i a arribar a un consens per a fer el millor treball possible. I, tot i que el treball cooperatiu sempre serà imprescindible en la nostra professió, crec que és crucial conèixer el que implica actuar sota la influència d'un líder, perquè són les seves directrius les que permeten a l'equip remar en la mateixa direcció.

Així doncs, què recomanaria a futurs becaris? En primer lloc, que no tinguin por de fer les coses malament. Si per a alguna cosa som aquí, és per a aprendre i continuar creixent; no hi ha per què posar tanta pressió sobre nosaltres mateixos. Altrament, i si bé per a moltes persones és difícil perquè simplement no forma part de la seva naturalesa, és imprescindible que mostrin iniciativa i que no tinguin por de preguntar allò que desconeixen. Demanar ajuda, sortir de la teva zona de confort i obligar-te a tu mateix a ser més participatiu/a (per molt tímid/a que siguis) és el millor consell que algú et pot donar. Perquè, algun dia, quan siguem fora a la recerca de noves oportunitats, no hi haurà ningú que estigui darrere de nosaltres per a donar-nos aquesta empenteta. Com els meus pares solen dir: les coses no venen soles, cal anar a buscar-les.

En poques paraules, crec que l'experiència a Hashing Squad no podria haver estat millor. Vaig començar de manera prudent, i en un terreny desconegut, però amb moltes ganes d'aprendre. A poc a poc, em vaig anar deixant anar i vaig descobrir parts de la meva personalitat i creativitat que abans desconeixia. He conegut a persones meravelloses i fet noves amistats. I és que, com he començat dient, aquest no és el final, solament el principi. I ara és el moment de continuar creixent, de continuar experimentant i desenvolupant nous coneixements, de provar, equivocar-se i tornar a començar, perquè, en definitiva, tot es basa en això: a continuar creixent.

Vou passar na casa das minhas tias para que elas não fiquem chateadas comigo, mas acho que vou ficar em casa mesmo. Já sei todas as fofocas de família e a principal dos últimos tempos sou eu, então não vejo muito necessidade em passar a noite lá esse ano.
