AU Where everyone goes in the same class, except Ahiru who is two years younger and is recovering from an injury.
Fakir helps her bc boyfriend, and Rue and Mytho are the most outstanding students at the academy
Ahiru is always enthralled with the two of them, which irritates Fakir, because Ahiru is very easily distracted. Lol

doodle sheet of my fakiru fankid (FAKIRU ARE STILL ARO AND/OR ACE TO ME DONT TAKE MY ARO DUCK CROWN FROM ME PLS)
[ID: doodle sheet of my Fakiru fankid, Clara. She has medium brown skin dotted with freckles, blue eyes, and black hair, most frequently pulled into braided loops. The far left doodle shows her as a young teenager wearing the Goldkrone Academy uniform with faint pictures of her parents at the same age behind her for comparison. Next is a closeup of Clara as a young teen smiling. There is a side profile of her as an adult, as well as a drawing of her as a toddler wearing a duck onesie. One drawing shows Fakir as an adult carrying young child Clara on his shoulders. Both glower at the camera with a matching scowl. The final drawing shows an adult Duck en pointe teaching Clara ballet moves. End ID]
Lore under the cut:
hellooo this is Clara (named that because barbie in the nutcracker was my intro to ballet and I wanted to honor it). In this au she's Fakir and Duck's one and only kid. They both have hang ups about parenting but they try their best to be good parents.
I describe Clara as having her father's temper and her mother's stubborness (lots of fighting in that house but they love each other). She has a strong sense of right and wrong and will not hesitate to pick fights when people don't see eye to eye. Despite her loud and aggressive personality, she's a very sweet girl and goes out of her way to help those in need.
After what happened to his parents, Fakir decided to hold off on teaching Clara to read and write until she was a little older and more mature. As a result, Clara fell behind her peers and struggled all throughout school. She resents her parents for this decision, but she becomes more understanding once she beings to understand the scope of what tale-spinners can do. Their fears were indeed founded as when Clara began to write it soon became apparent she'd inherited the writer's gift.
Clara became very athletic as she saw it as one of the only things she could be good at. She also likes to paint as its a "safe" way to express her creativity. Her color I usually draw her in is purple but if she was a traditional magical girl she'd be the red one.

Sooo... bout that idea of "Maruki's palace but it's the setting of Princess Tutu" concept. I may have been obsessing over it and did a few concept sketches.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Explanations under the read more
The concept is simple: the ability to become a god changes Maruki's palace theme after the Christmas Actualization; instead of a laboratory, where experiments and uncertainty are used to find the answers, it's now a "Fairy Tale" where rule are certain and can be whatever the author wants them to be. In other words, I have an excuse to make the setting Gold Crown from Princess Tutu with P5 characters. Yes, this would place Maruki firmly in the role of Drosselmeyer...except with like the exact opposite intent. Upon entering the palace on 01/02, the royal trio end up trapped within a never-ending story, with a part of themselves scattered to avoid them from progressing. They have 32 days to realize something's up, seek out their missing "heart shards", and complete the palace. Along the way, they will encounter cognitions of other P5 characters (I haven't gotten that for into the details of that though). Personas I think shall be restricted because A) it's a god's palace he can do whatever he wants with his cognition's rules, and B) because I wanna :3
As said, in order to progress in the palace, the trio needs to find the missing pieces of themselves scattered throughout the palace. There are 3 shards total, ergo replacing the "Will Seeds" of the palace. This concept is meant to lend itself to a lot of character development. Remember that the story start on 01/02, meaning any third-semester plot points have not been revealed to the characters yet (hehehe, much potential angst, much wow). Order of shard discovery initially set for: Sumi -> Akechi -> Joker
Each of the three's ballet clothes are based on a simplified version of their metaverse outfits, meant to promote mobility and helps the artist maintain her sanity. Sumi is a shoo-in for the advanced classes. Her skill as a gymnast (regardless of the comparisons to her sister) are seriously good, and that's not even accounting for her metaverse outfit resembling a ballerina. Whether or not she stays in the advanced class due to her whole identity crisis in parallel or October 3rd is another matter. Ren isn't top of the class, but he's fairy decent himself thanks to tutelage from a certain gymnast confidant. Kid picks up on lots of things pretty quickly. But on the bright side, in Gold Crown he always gets to wear his Joker mask...and probably good on his metaverse identity's namesake along the way. You'd think Akechi wouldn't be the least experienced dancer of the three...but his battle style isn't exactly the most...graceful (especially in the edge-suit) and he definitely wouldn't have reached out to anyone for lessons and stuff. Also, having to deal with others being considerably better than him at something? He would hate it and it would be hilarious. Thus, somehow the rageball somehow has a parallel to a literal duck. Note that each of the trio is not a 1:1 ratio with any of Princess Tutu's main cast. For example, while Sumi is a sweetheart like Duck, the need to adjust her technique as she learns to be her own person parallel's Mythos, and her desire to initially keep Maruki's reality when she realizes what she would have to give up parallel's Rue's motivations. And that's just for one of them!
Also yes, since I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to Princess Tutu, I swear I shall find a way to put in the underwater lake dance!!!
ANYWAY
That's all I have so far. What do folks think?

Kissing an ungloved hand?! The scandal!
I love it how eventually Ballgown AU moved away from Fakiru and became the "let's give Tutu the best possible man" fest. No complaints, that's what she deserves. But I never won't be baffled by the fact that we legit made Lohen Femio's brother

Random TGCF AU of the Day
The Princess Tutu AU
aka @fennel9 this is what that tutu photo inspired xD
For anyone unfamiliar with Princess Tutu, it is an excellent anime (that I highly recommend) in which a duck turns into a girl and then into a magical girl in order to retrieve the shards of a prince's heart which are running amuck and amplifying various emotions around their fairy tale-esque town. Lots of fairy tale themes and ballet ensue.
I think fandom could always use a Princess Tutu au :)
The TGCF version:
Enter Xie Lian, the fairy tale prince. Due to BWX-related Reasons, his heart has been shattered and the shards are scattered leaving him in a catatonic state (either Sleeping Beauty or just an emotionless shell). He is left in a concerned Jun Wu's care and tended to by Feng Xin & Mu Qing (who unbeknownst to them have also been possessed by shards). Jun Wu seeks the shards and hopes to restore Xie Lian but he's not making much progress.
Enter Hua Cheng. Once upon a time he was a weak and powerless child but now he's a feared Ghost King (or something) on a mission - retrieve his beloved's emotions and restore him to his true self.
The side characters' stories play out under the influence of Xie Lian's warped emotions. Possessed victims include Ling Wen, Pei Ming, Shi Wudu, He Xuan, Yushi Huang, Lang Qianqiu, Yin Yu etc... (Not sure what emotions would affect them yet, but we'll get there)
Meanwhile Bai Wuxiang is also after the shards. He hopes to corrupt them so that the Xie Lian that eventually wakes up with be a Xie Lian in his image...
Also meanwhile a frantic Mu Qing & Feng Xin are scrambling to stop Hua Cheng because there's no way this shady Ghost King (or something) isn't up to nefarious schemes and they will not let their Highness fall into his clutches! Comedic hijinks ensue.

PRINCESS TUTU AU OF DANNY PHANTOM I am experiencing severe brain rot.
(btw I'm using "lady" and "king" gender neutrally. Ghost genders are fluid as hell, just like ectoplasm.)
--
Among the living, the story of "The Lady Phantom and The Crown" is largely regarded as a classic fairytale, despite it not being as well known as certain stories like those by the brothers grimm or Aesop. Generally, the story goes as follows:
Long ago in the infinite realms, there was a crown with great power that chose a ruler for the realms that would lead it to prosperity. The crown was passed from king to king, guarded and guided by a spirit beyond ancient; The Lady Phantom. Some rumors and myths say they and the crown were both born from the same ectoplasm. Others say that they made the crown. As the Ancients began to rise, they claimed The Lady Phantom as one of their own, swearing to aide them in their eternal mission of the crown.
One day, a new king was chosen, Pariah The Dark. Chosen to lead his people through terrible conflict to a greater peace, he did well in the beginning, but conflict warped his purpose, and he became lost in his wrath.
The Ancients convened, and agreed to remove the crown from Pariah to find a more hopeful king. The Lady Phantom would be the one to retrieve their crown just as they had before, but Pariah had different plans.
In a fit of rage, he shattered the crown into many pieces, and scattered them across the infinite realms. In a burst of light, The Lady Phantom was gone, and The Ancients sealed away Pariah in his eternal prison of slumber.
The story ends with a promise that one day, The Lady Phantom would return to mend the broken crown and bring a new king to the infinite realms.
-
Danny fenton was struggling, majorly. Between his ballet practice, his homework, and making sure he and jazz actually had something to eat for dinner while his parents worked away in their lab, he was very much struggling.
Of course, his two best friends did their best to help out. Tucker helped with most of his homework, and Sam made sure he had some cash to spend on money (no matter how much he insisted he didn't really need it), and they both stayed with him when he did extra practice. It was nice, their little routine.
His parents wouldn't stop going on and on and ON about their ghost portal. It probably wouldn't work, their stuff has basically been entirely theoretical until now, but he just wanted it to be over so maybe they'd take a break and remember their kids.
It didn't work, obviously. The portal didn't even get past the "powering on" stage. Whatever. Sam wanted to go look at it and get some cool pictures for her photography class, so he was gonna bring them to the lab while his parents were off sulking.
-
HE DIDNT EXPECT IT TO ACTUALLY TURN ON.
Especially not with him IN it.
The pain was horrible, blindingly horrible, intense enough his brain was processing sensation seconds, minutes after they happened.
And then it was gone.
And he was floating in some starry abyss, with a shard of light dangling in front of him, singing so sweetly.
He reached for it.
'Hello'
He brushed a knuckle across the surface.
'Phantom'
It was cool to the touch, like metal.
'Lady Phantom'
It drew back.
'Our Lady Phantom'
It pierced into his chest.
-
"-DANNY!"
He could feel the convulsions of being electrocuted finally ebb away, and his senses came back ringing and burning but all still (mostly) working.
Florescent lights glared above him, rigid cold tile below him, scalding hot hands pressed against his face, arms, neck, wrists, chest.
Another few minutes and he could finally press the air in his chest out and push himself onto hands and knees. He felt-
Holy hell he felt dizzy and raw and so so sick.
His vision stopped swimming after several more minutes.
"Why am I in a ballet costume?"
---
Yeah these are just my at-the-walls ramblings. Princess tutu au! The idea is that, like how duck could transform into a storybook character with a piece of mythos heart and had to find all the other pieces, danny can transform into an ancient spirit with a piece of the crown and has to find all the other pieces.
Yes he is in a tutu, yes he does get called "The Lady Phantom" a lot. It's weird for him in the beginning but he gets a lot more used to it when he realizes how little care there is about gender norms in the ghost zone. Danny is still very much A Guy, just A Guy in a tutu.
Amity Park is much less "Oh yeah thats a guy" about Lady Phantom, unfortunately.
Anyways let guys wear tutus and dance the Lady parts in ballet I wanna see it.

Twisted Wonderland AU
Ok ok ok,
Just hear me out..
Ahiru from Princess Tutu as Yuu!
Tumblr media
And she helps deescalate overblotting when she dances ballet as Princess Tutu (like during their flashback to traumatic childhood moments)
Tumblr media
I don't know if this would be like Sailor Moon/ Superman where no one but Grimm and the ghosts (and maaaaaybe Crowley?) know she and Tutu are one and the same.
Lilia totally knows and keeps saying vague things that confuddle Ahiru about whether or not her identity is discovered.
Jack maybe knows, or at least assumes they are related if not the same person.
Ace keeps saying things like "Man, you're such a klutz! You know who isn't a klutz? That pretty ballerina." While Deuce is all “She seems strong…I’d like to fight her!” please don’t
Maybe Idia, Ortho, Cater, and/or Rook would be the ones actively trying to find out her identity. Rook even dubs her "La Princesse des Cygnes."
Tumblr media
All of the post-blotted dorm leaders + Jamil would look back on the calming dance with the mysterious princess fondly, even if some *Leona* won't admit it. Some might even developed a crush on the beautiful and gentle ballerina??
Malleus meets Ahiru as she is in her normal- klutzy - human form, and becomes fascinated by her without even knowing or being interested in the rumors of "La Princesse de Cygnes.”
Gym Class? Despite Coach Vargas's well-intentioned —though mostly overwhelming —support, Ahiru trips over her own feet, and cannot be trusted with a broom.
Alchemy Class? Professor Crewel makes Ahiru sit in a corner and do-not-move-a-muscle-for-the-seven's-sake so that no vials shatter and no potions that should't go together won't mix. Somehow, explosions still happen.
History Class? Professor Trein sees Ahiru as a well-behaved - well, as best as she can - student, but for some reason his cat finds reasons to pounce at her and scare her, disrupting the class.
If she still randomly turns into a duck:
Tumblr media
Leona finds her duck version and -surprisingly- is quite sweet to the duckling (a more gentle and less sinister version of Scar teasing and playing with the mouse after the opening of The Lion King) before Ruggie interrupts him, and Duck-Ahiru scampers away in fright when Leona sarcastically tells the hyena he interrupted his lunchtime. Whoops.
Grimm doesn't actually attempt to eat Duck-Ahiru despite constant empty threats he'll do so whenever he and Ahiru argue. He actually comes zooming to her aid if he perceives the duckling to be in danger (much like Archimedes saving Wart/ Arthur when the latter was a fish in The Sword and the Stone.), though he quickly denies actually worrying about her and insists it'd be inconvenient if he lost his minion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Prince Mytho Role:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Malleus, but actually interested in Ahiru from the start? Amused -and touched - that even though she seemed terrified of him at first, Ahiru actively makes an effort to get to know him till she's not even phased by his intimidating appearance and comfortably interacts with him.
Fakir Role:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Leona, in that he's rough and teasing to Ahiru, but is surprisingly gentle with Duck!Hiru, and maybe shows his hidden soft side to her. Big flustered tsundere when he one day puts two and two together and realizes why this cute and sweet little duck's scent is so similar to Ahiru's.
Just something I thought would be fun.

Once upon a time, there was a crow.
As far as she was aware, she was always a crow.
She was quite sure of it because she clearly couldn’t recall being literally anything else other than a crow.
Sure, she was able to take the image of a human at times, but that didn’t change the fact that she was still just a crow, did it?
Okay she actually wasn’t always a crow but unfortunately she didn’t know that yet.
Anyway, there was this prince she met at some point.
He saved her life in fact.
Impossible.
Sure, it was common knowledge that many humans had a soft spot for animals.
She knew because she sees humans fawn over the ducks in the pond all the time.
But they don’t behave like that around crows, do they?
Absolutely not.
They would shoo them away, some even going as far as to throw pebbles and stones whenever they see them.
Crows were hideous creatures. Symbols of bad luck and death.
(Ducks meanwhile were cute and innocent.)
(She really hated ducks.)
No human is ever capable of loving or even caring for a crow.
After all, it’s what her father has been saying to her ever since she was a nestling.
And he wouldn’t lie to her, would he?
Yet, this prince... he was different.
He seemed willing to protect every creature he came across.
Even a crow.
Did he just feel sorry for her?
Or maybe…
Maybe he’s the only human capable of truly loving a crow.
TLDR; basic summary of an AU in which instead of a “crow born in a human body” Rue is… well, “a crow that can take the form of a human” similar to Ahiru/Duck. In fact it almost directly parallels Duck’s situation.
Here’s the thing though.
While Duck was always… well, a duck, Rue’s crow form is a result of a curse (or rather, if we want to abide by PT canon, an effect of the raven’s blood she was fed to as a baby) placed on her long ago (perhaps by the Raven himself).
And of course fairytale logic comes into play here; it can only be broken by true love. (And by the end, it does, thankfully.)
Actually, real question; in the second season, we see Mytho starting to physically transform into a crow after a certain period of time of exposure to the raven’s blood. Rue was apparently fed the raven’s blood when she was an infant. So why isn’t she a crow by now? Did the raven want her to maintain human form, or did it only affect her emotions and not her appearance? Who knows.
Anyway, that’s pretty much the basic gist of this AU so far. Might expand on it some more if people are interested.

Fakiru Vampire AU
I know, I know, October is over, but I completely forgot that I had to post this...
This was for the Spukisison, but I forgot about it.
Where Fakir is a writer who has inherited his great-great-grandfather's talent for turning stories into reality. And Ahiru was the last victim of Drosselmeyer's whims and is doomed to live as a Vampire (Lebensfresser, Life's Eater) if Fakir does not help her. (There are more drawings in all of this post)
Bloodline
"Thank you for giving me your blood, Fakir"
Tumblr media
"And I would give you my soul if you asked me for it" (Obviously, he would never say that out loud)
Tumblr media
Fakir is a very young writer, but extremely talented. His talent runs in the family, as his father, grandfather and great-great-grandfather were. In particular, critics have said that he is the successor of his great-great-grandfather, Drosselmeyer, who has become an important figure for his country.
But, despite Drosselmeyer's incredible and undeniable talent, and having written wonderful tales and stories, most believed that their mental state was not the best.
And even the bad tongues said that he possessed a certain black magic... That some of his stories came true once he wrote about them.
In his later years, he claimed to have met a race of human beings who had evolved to devour their fellow humans. Although almost no one believed him, as soon as he published his last book, “Lebensfresser,” people began seeing human-like creatures with the same characteristics as he described. And although these sightings were isolated, they were enough to motivate victims’ relatives and volunteers to go out and hunt them down. According to the accounts of those relatives, none of them remembered what had happened when they left the village.
But that remained a folk tale, as only the legend had survived. After this, Drosselmeyer was found with a fang mark on his neck, everyone believed that he had been killed by a Lebensfresser who sought revenge for telling their secret, although the popular version says that he was bitten by a bat that came from abroad.
Fakir, for his part, hates having to deal with his great-great-grandfather's legacy. So, instead of writing fantasy and drama, he focused on writing detective novels and short stories.
But it didn't help him much to take his eyes off his legacy, because a red-haired girl appeared through his bedroom window looking for his help.
It turns out that on one of his travels, Drosselmeyer found an isolated kingdom that had no resources because the nobility had taken everything from them, even their children and husbands, to make them fight in the war. Drosselmeyer, eager to be able to write and to show himself as a savior, asked the poor people if they wanted power to take revenge on those indolent nobles and after receiving suggestions, he gave them enormous power.
Before he transformed them into Lebensfresser, he had promised them that their transformation into the beasts would be temporary and would only last for a week, but when the time was up, they never became human again. Furious, the villagers sought him out for answers, but learned that Drosselmeyer had escaped.
It was 20 years before they found Drosselmeyer's village and began killing innocent people. Drosselmeyer, scared that they would find him, sent the remaining relatives of the affected families and "volunteers" with weapons and secrets to wipe them all out.
To prevent the Lebensfresser from giving information to the villagers about him and his treatment, he partially erased their memory, they will remember fighting, but they will not remember details.
What Drosselmeyer didn't count on was that before he could write "they and all their descendants died in the assault," one of them had attacked a mother and her daughter. The Schwan family had gone on vacation, but unfortunately, they arrived at the village of the damned.
There, Lord Schwan was killed while trying to protect his daughter, Ahiru, and his wife Odette. But when he was killed, the Lebensfresser locked them in the dungeon. In the midst of the battle waged by the villagers, they managed to escape, but on the outskirts of the Kingdom, they were ambushed. This Lebensfresser managed to mortally wound both of them, and accidentally transform Ahiru... And knowing that they did not have much time and there was nothing more to do, Odette offered her own blood to her daughter.
In all those years, Ahiru always refused to hurt anyone, and survived by drinking the blood of dying animals, as well as sleeping for a long time right after drinking blood, to avoid getting hungry and hurting anyone. One day, she met a fortune teller and was advised to find Drosselmeyer, as only he could revoke the curse he had placed on her and thus, Ahiru found Fakir.
She asked him for help and told him everything her great-great-grandfather had done, since apparently having a drop of Lebensfresser's blood on one of her wounds, does not make her his descendant and therefore, made her immune to Drosselmeyer's last writing.
In addition to that, she helped Fakir to see the truth behind what his own writings... Apparently a couple of thieves have come out wanting to imitate what they read in his books, but apparently it is not a coincidence.
Apparently, Fakir still has a part of Drosselmeyer's power in his blood and has caused a very small part of his writings to come true and therefore, he can help her.
Fakir feels partly guilty of what happened to her and he cannot let her continue drinking the blood of dying animals, because she can get sick again. So, Fakir lets her stay at his house until he can return her to her human form, in addition to giving her his blood every time she gets hungry (at first, she refuses because she does not want to hurt him if she enters a euphoric state by tasting human blood, but he insists and she sleeps a lot to avoid having to ask him for more blood and hurt him)
At first, Fakir helps her to take the guilt off of himself but everything becomes closer and he genuinely wants to help her because he knows she is worth it.
Well, it was more or less like that... I didn't want it to be so long but, I just thought it was better to give more context... I hope I haven't bored you 😅
Here are more sketches:
I tried to do more, but I ran out of ink
Tumblr media
How I thought the relationship between Ahiru and Fakir was going to be in this AU:
Tumblr media
As it really is:
Tumblr media
I hope you like it and if you have any suggestions, I want to read them!
I hope you have a nice day!!
