Happy Holidays from the Old Man and the Smithy! 🎄✨Just a simple little thing I threw together lol but I had to do something fun for Christmas!! The thought process behind this was basically that the rest of the boys decided that their oldest member would be a fitting Father Christmas, and the shortest hero would be a fitting Yuletide Elf. After a bit of begrudging, Time and Four finally caved and let Wild take a picture 😂

Time - Did it instinctively once to Sheik. Thought it was weird. Tried to pretend it never happened.

Legend - Said it once to Fable at a ball. She smiled coolly and said “you’re excused”. He slept with one eye open for a month after that.

Hyrule - Sorry that’s just canon.

Twilight - Said it right before the final fight with Ganon when Zelda tried to take the reins. She conceded and let him ride Epona while she shot.

Wind - Has said it a dozen times to Tetra and has to walk the plank every time. Said it once and then pulled her overboard with him.

Warriors - Running joke with Artemis. They both will say it to each other all the time. Impa rolls her eyes so hard she’s liable to strain them.

Wild - Says it if Flora gives him cooking advice. Anything else is fair game but you DON’T tell Wild how to cook!

For those who don't have Twilight Princess but would like to know:

The move Twilight performed while fighting Dink is called the helm splitter. It's one of the Hidden Skills that the Hero's Shade, aka Time (but as a skeleton oof) taught him

This move is often an instant kill. It is harder against Lizalfos, so the goal is to quickly turn around and deliver a slash. He lands with his back to the enemy- which made Dink grab him from behind (and bit Twi's arm ouch). But it's one of the most powerful moves Shade taught him- he practically ripped out Dink's shoulder.

One of the art screenshots is not Lu, but art Jojo did of shade teaching him to do it. (Can confirm it was terrifying- bro stopped the blade an inch from Twi's head- after telling him it's called the helm splitter)

The Wild Children! Merida and Wild would get into soooo much trouble together, since they have such similar personalities. They both love adventuring, exploring, archery, and horseback riding! Queen Elinor and Twilight/Time would probably just vent about their crazy 'children' together.

I feel like out of all the boys, Wild would definitely be the most likely to get someone he knows cursed by accident. Also, he's ridden bears before (BOTW lol), and so when Merida tells him about all of her adventures, he'd probably get so excited like, OH MY GOODNESS YOU TOO?!

Also, if you don't understand what Merida is saying, she is basically just challenging Wild to hit an arrow into a far away tree 😂

I headcanon that Twilight has a bad habit of telling afab people they are on/or are about to start their period. He doesn't see it as awkward until they look at him bewildered.

He will end up walking past someone in a village and say 'congratulations'. They give him a puzzled expression. "For your fetus—? Shit. Am I being insensitive? Are you getting rid of it? Did you not know?" Poor boi genuinely panics.

If he has an afab s/o he will definitely be like 'babe, you're ovulating' by accident. It just slips past his tongue. He tries his best never to mention those things if it makes his s/o uncomfortable. It is just that Wolfie inside of him is like 'mate is ready! mate is ready! we could have pups!'

He and Hyrule always have tampons, pads, and other period products on hand. He doesn't understand what it is like to go through a period—but he wants to be prepared if someone around him isn't for theirs!

cue him shoving a random tampon and pad in someone's hand and scurrying off.

"Don't know your preference! Smells like a heavy one so be prepared!"

He also does the face rubbing thing on people he likes. He does it subconsciously. Most in The Chain just accept it and don't mind. Legend is the only one that looks like a frightened hare when he does it.
