🤔 I do find it very interesting that the OG spirits of the 13 Month Series appear to know about the curse on them and the existence of the ghost.

Garam's speech to the ghost makes it seem like she became part of all of the original ignition spirits as a secret, malign invasion and that it's only her pact with Zahard that is to blame for the modus operandi for every princess that threatens to gather too many 13 Month Series weapons, but the original spirits as well seem not only aware of the ghost's existence (even if not included in the screenshots above, they straight - up warn Yuri that igniting both of them at the same time will drive her insane) but with a "pledge" of their own to uphold. This is further alluded to in Garam's mention of "then I found out. About the spirits of the 13 Month and the promise that you made to Jahad."

In isolation this may seem like a reference to the ghost and her influence, but in light of Green April and Black March's own references to a duty of their own ("That's right. Our job is to make you fight and hate each other" "We are [...] a weapon created by a pledge. [...] We promise to continue the destiny of blood and the curse-") I suspect that the OG spirits may have made a deal or commitment of their own, unless we are to assume the ghost's influence is just SO strong that it influences the spirits even on their most basic level of personality into spilling confidential information umprompted (something the ghost herself is never shown to do, only mockingly praising Garam for her discoveries as put forth by Garam herself, but not disclosing anything further until she is in an absolute rage over her imminent excorcism).

(The most likely option is probably that the "pledge" was made more of their own volition, and included waiting for "that day" where they would become one, whereas the curse was something placed upon them irrespective of their own choice, involving the strife between the princesses, given how they warn Yuri about it, don't want her to end up like Yuram (Garam's dead twin previously taken over by the ghost), and Green April explicitly tells her to let go of them the moment she feels in danger, i.e. really does not want the possession by the ghost to happen? Which would explain their willigness to spill the beans to Yuri in that regard)

Of course the main reason to suspect that there's more to it remains the ghosts angry declaration that Garam wasn't aware of her real grudge, indicating that it wasn't resentment against the other princesses that fuelled her "promise" with Zahard (because what reason would the ghost even have to be and much less remain envious of all the selected princesses that ended up killed-by-design by Zahard? All the more so if she was involved as part of the plot that did so? Wouldn't that make it seem like a stroke of luck to not have been chosen? Like she was in Zahard's confidences beyond any of the rest of them, for being the only one entrusted with the true purpose of the 13 Months, keeping the princesses divided and framing them once they got too influential?).

Given that it was Zahard who comissioned the 13 Months creation, provided the ingredient of one half of the key to the 135th floor, and made them the ultimate enchanted items to the point of being administrator proofed, I also find it highly unlikely that their "true master" would turn out to be Bam, unless there's some 3D chess going on not yet apparent to us readers, given that the whole "waiting for their true master who'll make them one" appears as part of the promise/curse Zahard made with or placed on them, and Bam's the one prophesied to kill Zahard and destroy his life's work (and would be a severe case of shooting himself in the foot).

Bam, as far as I know, also has never been associated with the whole king business in any way (that is assuming the "king" mentioned by the ghost is even the same person as the "true master" mentioned by the OG spirits), his primary role being the eventual opposition to the stories primary king in Zahard, making him unlikely to be the "king" the ghost has been waiting for (his association has always rather been with the term "god" tbh).

When the pilot episode of Princesses of Jahad: The Untold Tale is proven to be a disaster, FUG Productions decide to -instead of focusing on the model agency as a whole- shift their attention to two of its most beloved models(and the only ones agreeing to the documentary); half-sisters Maschenny and Maria. Thus, what was supposed to be an insight on being a Princess of Jahad turns to be a 24/7 documentation of the Khun family.

Thinking about administration and authority in the Zahard Empire (as one does) and I find it extremely interesting just how...passive Zahard apparently uses his position for the most part? He doesn't do the day to day ruling, that’s the authority of the Three Lords, when he gives orders it’s only in the form of ‘pick your own adventure’, some of the stuff that’s key aspects of the present time Empire and carries huge prestige like the princess system is something he himself had no interest in but was overruled by/felt like he had to concede to public opinion/pressure...how the Great Families are held at the longest possible leashes (literally the only stipulation seems to be 'maybe don't commit blatant treason' and even then they are immediately up in arms, see Yuris case, who did pretty blatantly aid FUG, yet the Ha family is angry about that having consequences (which we admittedly still do not know but it feels safe to say that it's not execution)) and for the most part do nothing but incurr negative PR for the Empire, since they are technically part of it, that rebounds onto Zahard himself, despite said long leash and operating pretty independently...See how most of the injustices in the early story were very focused on the families and only have the ability to flourish bc the family heads don't care about curtailing any of that either (see: the name hunt Station ie Slavery lite, run by the Lo Po Bia family, the Yeon families deliberate concealement of the origins of Zygena flowers)...
