Disney Descendants : Alexander (from Pinocchio 1940 ) x Princess Eilonwy's kids
Scarlet : Scarlet is a passionate go getter who notices what goes on and used it to get what she wants - unfortunately what she wants is often to be on top of wherever she is socially and so she can be quite mean. She can be friendly but it’s often fake. Don’t ask her parents how she got this way because it wasn’t them.
Carter : Carter is often the same way but he’s even craftier. Nobody is totally sure what he wants or what he’s planning until he has what he wants.
Eleanor : Modest. A little stuffy. Active imagination. Pranks without getting caught. The "well behaved" one. Mindful of her duty as a princess at all times. Hangs out with her mom a lot.
Eloise : Eloise is a cheery and spontaneous equestrian just as stubborn as her horses. Don’t get her in a battle of wills - you’ll lose. Don’t worry though because she’ll be a sweetheart after and never holds a grudge.

Book Smarts
“So did you ask him?”
Princess Eloise sighed and flopped back on her bed.
“I’ll take that as a yes,” Zinnia said, and Eloise sighed again, louder this time.
“It’s not fair! He says that I have more important things to do than waste my time on a commoner festival.”
“Waste your time?” Zinnia asked, incredulous. “It’s one day! What are you gonna do instead, it’s not like your schedule is full to bursting?”
“He says I need to spend more time on my studies,” Eloise said. “Which I guess makes sense. I get that learning to rule is important and everything, but you’d think a teensy break wouldn’t make too much of a difference!”
“Right, and you can totally learn to run a kingdom just by studying,” Zinnia added, rolling her eyes.
“What do you mean?” Eloise asked. Zinnia looked up and saw the princess looking at her with a puzzled expression on her face.
“What?”
“Why did you say that like you didn’t mean it?” Eloise clarified. “Why shouldn’t I be able to learn to rule by studying? How else would you do it?”
“Oh…” Zinnia swallowed, suddenly uncomfortable. Her friendship with Eloise was usually so natural, but every now and again the princess would say something that reminded her that they came from totally different worlds, despite being born within a mile of each other.
“I didn’t…I didn’t mean that your studies are useless, Eloise, it’s just…well, I don’t think that studying alone can tell you everything you need to know to run a kingdom.”
Eloise frowned and sat up straighter.
“I’m learning about our commerce, our trade routes and imports and exports,” she said, ticking each subject off on her fingers. “I’m learning diplomacy and what our relations are like with all the neighboring countries and many beyond, I’m learning the laws of this land and how to create new ones, I’m learning enough about tactics and strategy to know which generals to listen to and which to keep on a tighter leash, I’m learning how to hold court and how to hold council and how to find a favorable suitor so that the royal lineage can be continued. What else is there?”
Zinnia just shook her head.
“You know all that, but you don’t know the first thing about the kingdom. Our people, our culture? What do you know about them?”
“Our highest holy days are-”
“I don’t mean the types of facts and statistics you can read in a book, Eloise,” Zinnia interrupted. “Even the way we practice our faith and dress, it’s different for us commoners than it is for you here in the palace. How can you expect us to want to follow a princess…a queen who doesn’t know her own people?”
“...you follow my father,” Eloise said quietly, and Zinnia bit her lip. “What?” Eloise asked, a frown forming on her face. “What, Zinnia?”
“Do…do you think people would still follow him if…if they felt they had a choice?”
“What does that mean?”
“It means,” Zinnia took a deep breath. “Look, you’ve never seen this, because you’ve never been just…out in the city, and I’m not talking about out in a parade or something, I mean really out there, without an escort or a crown or anything. But the people…not all of them are that fond of your father as a ruler.”
“...because he doesn’t know them?”
“Partly,” Zinnia admitted. “And for the reasons you don’t like him as a father sometimes, and for other reasons too. I never said it was simple to be a king. But…you see my point? You don’t even know what your people think of you and your family, and you think you can learn to rule them from a book?”
Eloise was silent for a long time, and Zinnia tried not to chew her lip. Eloise was so openly critical about her father around her that she’d felt emboldened to speak…but it was a very different thing to criticize your friend’s father than it was to criticize the king. And while Zinnia didn’t think Eloise would have her arrested for treason, she technically would be within her rights to do so, and that was the last thing that Zinnia or Eloise needed.
“Will you help me sneak into the city?”
Zinnia blinked.
“What?”
“I think you’re right. I think to be a good queen, I should know my people, and I’m not going to learn that from a book. I need to see them for myself.”
“I…wow,” Zinnia said. “Are you sure?” Eloise nodded. “You’d need to wear a disguise…peasant clothes, nothing from your own wardrobe. You’d stick out like a sore thumb otherwise.”
Eloise nodded again.
“I can borrow some of your clothes, we’re about the same size. So will you do it? Help sneak me out?”
“If we’re caught, we could get in big trouble,” Zinnia cautioned. “I don’t know what would happen to you, but I could be arrested for kidnapping you, and prison is something I’d like to avoid.”
“I’m not running away, just taking a little trip,” Eloise said. “I’ll take all the blame, I’ll say I ordered you to help me….and I will order you, if you make me,” she added, but she was smiling, and Zinnia couldn’t help but laugh.
“Okay. Sure. Yes, your highness. As you command, I will kidnap you and take you to the festival.”
Eloise laughed, and the tightness in Zinnia’s chest momentarily relaxed. Sure, this was risky, but honestly, it would do Eloise good to see the kingdom without the veneer of her own royalty coloring her view. They’d still most likely get in trouble, but Eloise could probably protect Zinnia from any punishment that was overly harsh. Besides, they’d only be gone one day. If they did this right, hardly anyone would even miss them! This would be totally fine!
…right?

only 72 days to my favourite characters and ships are back I do hope we get to see more Marina and Philip in dislike/enemies to lovers kinda story my fav trope I mean if we can get that in queen Charlotte, with Charlotteand George where it was a marriage of convenience force and without love at first but they grew to learn about each other their situation form a bond only they can and love each other would be so epic + it’ll give plot twist instead of the predictable ending we are headed.
Tumblr media
we saw the queen stand by the king with his illness love him still does to modern day Bridgerton, it’s beautiful would love to see a man standing by his wife and hee illness it would be so very much different unexpected by man especially during that time and not having him abandoned her emotionally mentally checked out on her and her/their kids now when she needs someone/him the most why is it only woman characters that stay and try to be understanding unconditionally loving protective and helping of their partner’s illness especially during that society time.
give us something new please something unexpected different in the show a change the whole show talks about putting a modern spin on that world all the time, what better way would then seeing a man be in the role of carer of his wife like qc takes care of her husband!
We know they won’t change the end couples which is fine don’t mean that sir Philip can’t come to understand and love marina and Marina him and once she is no longer with him he can ofc fall in love again you don’t just fall in love just once in your life there’s first love and then there’s true soulmate love!
Still waiting on that princess Edwina a Brid story for s2 of the spin off after polin season and before Benedict season followed by lady Danbury a Bridgerton story then s5 of Bridgerton, then lastly prince Adolphus a Bridgeton story and the last ever season of Bridgerton having all the remaining 2 siblings stories go together s6 the end! this way everyone gets their happy endings and also first love and true love aka their soulmate love

Some time ago I made a post talking about a tweet about Eloise Bridgerton, where the OP said that she hoped that Eloise's friendship with Kate would eventually "teach" her that she can be herself and still do all the things she's firmly opposed to (like being feminine, getting married, having children ecc...) and I talked in general about some things that irk me of the whole NLOG discourse, but now I want expand.
A lot of people complaining about NLOGs say that they have nothing against gnc female characters, they just don't like HOW they are portrayed...and I believe them, but sometimes, the way they talk about the NLOG in question makes me wonder whether they are actually ok with a female character being gender non conforming, because the NLOG growth Is often associated with her overcoming her "internalized misogyny" by learning to love and embrace traditional femininity.
And I mean, sometimes It happens, but come on, you really think that every single tomboy/masc girl Is an internally misogynyst who just has to learn the joy of ✨girly girliness✨ to grow as a person?
And don't tell me I'm making things up, just look at the way people talk about NLOG characters, it's always:
"Ugh, another strong female character who doesn't like dresses and makeup, why cannot women be STRONG and FEMININE ?" (and then the female characters they're complaining about is a completely feminine woman with full makeup wearing *gasp* pants).
"Why cannot female characters be soft, kind and nurturing? Why do they always to act like men?" (Where acting like men means being...assertive, bold, loud, authoritative...yeah).
"I want a female character who rejects femininity because she has been forced to perform It all her life...and then she learns ✨on her own terms✨that actually makeup, pink ,dresses and embroidery are the Best Thing in the World and becomes the Girliest Girl that ever Girled™".
This is the argument that annoys me the most, the idea that a person who has been forced into femininity, if left free, will eventually start to love and perform it but "on her own terms", whatever that means. What if "her own terms" are never performing femininity again? Why do you struggle to understand that some people will NEVER like femininity, no matter how "gently" you push it on them? You really think that femininity Is only empowering and never traumatizing?
And then there's my favorite people *sarcasm alert*, the ones that say that female characters being masculine and acting "like men" (whatever that means) instead of being soft, kind and waifish Is unfeminist because It implies that women must reject femininity to be strong.
See what rubs me wrong? The fact that the complaints about NLOGs center the supposed "unfemininity" of the character, as if It's a bad thing by itself and as if female characters aren't overwhelmingly feminine.
And again, there's a conversation to be had about how femininity Is considered generally frivolous and women are expected to look effortlessly good, but I CANNOT take you seriously when you say that masc women dominate the media, when the icky masc women oppressing girly girls you're complaining about look like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ID 1: a picture of princess Peach from Super Mario. She's a girl with long, blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a bright pink and white racing suit and holding a halberd. She has a determined expression.
ID 2 : a picture of Eloise Bridgerton from Bridgerton. She's a young woman with medium lenght wavy hair, Hazel eyes and white skin. She's wearing a pale green empire waist dress with puffy sleeves. She's standing and holding a book.
ID 3: a picture of Rhaenyra Targaryen from House of the dragon. She's a woman with long, straight light blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin. She's standing and wearing a long, black gown with gold and red embroidery with dragon motifs.
I'm not making up a strawman, I've seen way too many people complaining that alle the above characters are too masculine, and not just whiny conservatives. In fact, talking about HOTD, I find It quite interesting that people are complaining that Rhaenyra Is not feminine enough, but there are less complaints that Baela Is not a tomboy like she was in the book. In fact, I've seen several users say that Baela being more feminine Is better, becausebit shows that WoMeN cAn Be StRoNg AnD FeMiNiNe!!1!1!
It makes me think that your problem Is not feminine female characters being disparaged (as if masculine female characters aren't), but gnc female characters existing at all.
If you say that you have nothing against masc female characters, why would you make learning to love femininity and overcoming misogyny coincide?
Unless you think being uncomfortable with femininity Is misogyny by itself.
It seems to me that you only are ok with masc female characters as long as they return to femininity at the end of their story.

1 - Welcoming the Bridgerton’s
Tumblr media
Part 2
The Venus Muse
Here's the first chapter y'all! I am sorry to say that I couldn't tag some of you that asked to be added. If you could give me an update profile tag I will add you that way.
Buckingham Palace was always busy with something going on. The royal castle had many children over the years running around it. I knew this place better than anyone else could imagine. And that truth will help me change my life forever.
“Your highness, which tiara would you wish for today?” One of my handmaidens named Sunset asked me.
She was standing by my table vanity that had quite a few tiaras sitting on top of them. Sitting on my bed the fabric of my golden dress swayed when I walked up to her. “The one with three center jewels and the pearl necklace.”
“Of course, my lady.” She nodded where I lowered my head and she set the tiara in the center.
The tiara sparkled when the light bounced off the light coming through the window. I stood in front of the tall mirror eyeing my gown that was golden, short sleeves decorated in lace and was long where you couldn’t see the short brown boots I wore unless my dress flew up from the wind. “Sunset, do you think my mother shall begin pressuring me this year?”
“It is not my place to speak on.”
I reassured her otherwise. “Don’t worry about prying ears. I am asking for your opinion.”
“I would say she seeks what is best for you, Lady Y/n.” Sunset answered with a shrug of her shoulders.
Someone knocked on the outside of my door before another lady in waiting peaked her head inside. “Princess, your mother is coming this direction.” I nodded brushing my hands down the front of my dress.
The door of my bedroom opened for me to see my mother, Lady Danbury and Brimsley all walking up to my room. “I yearn for someone fresh, someone unexpected,  to turn this season on its head. That is what we need. There is no room for indifference.  Apathy is a blight the monarchy simply cannot endure.”
“Of course, Your Majesty. But remember, a young lady cannot be a diamond until you anoint her as such. So if for any reason you do not find one among the candidates today…”
My mother cut off her friend. “Do you think she will return?  We have heard nary a peep from Lady Whistledown since last season ended. Perhaps the writer came to her senses. Perhaps she realized taking on her queen was a bad idea, and she will never publish again.”
Lady Danbury responded. “It is a convincing theory, ma'am.”
“Or she simply left for the country, as the rest of us did in the off-season, bored by the lack of any real gossip.”
Lady Danbury made a noise. “Hmm. “
“You do know what that would make her, then?” My mother Queen Charlotte trailed off.
I finished her sentence being fair too noisy, needing to listen to the conversation of the famous gossiping writer. “One of us.”
“My darling daughter, you look radiant as ever.” My mother turned away from her friend to face me.
I sent her a smile waving to Lady Danbury to not be rude. “It’s good to see you, Lady Danbury.”
“Good to see you too, Princess Y/n.” She smiled.
My mother clasped her hands together in front of her puffy white dress. “I have been needing to speak with you and what this evening needs to entail for you and your happiness.”
“You wish for me to marry a prince and provide heirs for the crown.” I rolled my eyes already thinking of the answer she would say.
Yet to my surprise she said almost the opposite. “I wish for you to have happiness and many children. It would help if your husband was royalty, but it is not a requirement.”
“It isn’t?” Knitting my brows in confusion.
She takes my hands in hers. “I didn’t get the chance to search for love on my own. My brother arranged my marriage with your father. So I secretly hope that you, my firstborn daughter, can have some fun.”
“Mother, I…that means so much to me.” I smiled through some happy tears.
Footsteps came down the long hallway and around the corner before we saw my father’s servant named Reynolds. “My Queen, my princess. I have news.” He bowed with a hand behind his back.
“What is it, Reynolds?” I asked him.
He shifted his gaze to mine. “You're father is having an episode, Princess.”
“Oh…” I made a noise in discomfort. I knew of his illness
That was the secret my mother and the rest of my siblings and I kept hidden from thr world. They needed to believe that the king was just always busy and so his wide made the appearances out on the town. “Hmm it appears we may have to cancel the ball tonight for the Bridgertons.” My mother sighed in defeat knowing her husband came first.
“We shall not cancel.” My mother and Reynolds’s both shifted their attention over to me when I had spoken up the opposite of what they assumed would need to be done. “We should not cancel because I can represent the family in your place, mother.”
She tapped her chin in thought. “I suppose that could solve our problem. I don't wish to cancel the months of preparation that were put into this.”
“Exactly that would be a tragedy.”
The queen turned to her husband's helper with instructions. “Inform my husband I will come to his aid. Brimsley?”
“Yes, your Majesty.”
She gave him a different set of orders. “Inform the Viscount Bridgerton that my daughter shall be appearing tonight before myself.” He bowed and went in a different direction then Reynolds.
“Thank you, mother.” I smiled curtseying to her before we parted for the evening. It was quite a few hours before the ball with our castle subjects and the Bridgertons would even begin. By the evening the moon was shining up in the sky and the grand ballroom was lit up like a christmas tree.
Standing silently outside the currently shut double doors I stopped fiddling with my dress when one of the royal guards gave me a head nod saying it was time. I could hear the announcer's voice before the doors had even begun opening. “May I present to you her royal highness. The daughter of King George and Queen Charlotte, Princess Y.n of England.”
“Thank you, sir.” I whispered to another guard that came to me when I had made my entrance through the doors feeling all eyes on me. Sucking in a tiny breath he escorted me to the small throne before we unlinked arms leaving me on my own. The small crown on my head had never felt so heavy as it did right now. “Greetings my subjects. I am here to announce that my mother got called away tonight for an emergency. But she saw no reason why this event couldn’t go on as planned. So with that in mind let me extend a warm welcome to Violet Bridgerton and her family for traveling here for a few months.”
Everyone began clapping and cheering with an older looking woman who had dark brown hair up in a crown on her head that came up to me and gave a lovely curtsey. “Princess, it is a pleasure to get an invitation.”
“I hope I can get to meet your family greatly over your stay, Lady Bridgerton.”
“Princess Y/n, may I ask you something?” Someone called my name causing me to lift my gaze up noticing someone moving through the crowd. The figure paused beside the Bridgerton woman who seemed to give the man a confused but amused depression on her face.
I clicked my tongue and answered the stranger's question. “What is your question, my lord?”
“I was wondering if you would accept my offer for a dance together this evening.” The stranger seemed similar to the woman he was standing beside him. I was fairly certain they were related, but which son was he if they were.
He extended his hand up to me and I smiled, placing my smaller hand in his larger one. “I accept so long as I know which Bridgerton are you?”
“Benedict, Benedict Bridgerton.” He replied leading me out and onto the dance floor with the entire room having theur eyes focused on the two of us.
