Random thought: I disagree with Omar and Edvin when they said that Wilmon would be dog dads.

I think Simon, who is really independent, would appreciate a cat more. I could totally see a black cat softly purring on his laps while he is making music.

Wilhelm would choose a cat because he loves to make Simon happy. Maybe the cat would also remind him of his boyfriend with his black fur and irresistible cuteness. After a little while, he would be proud to have earned the cat’s affection (unlike with everyone else who automatically sucks up to him because he’s a Prince).

I feel like the Pandava sisters love Rudy. Like, he's their friend, he makes Mini happy. They do love him.

But they do NOT like him. On a certain level they can't stand his guts. Like, he has a strange ability to annoy them all at once. Aru can respect him as a pranking partner, but that's as far as it goes. Brynne's fight or fight response is triggered when he opens his mouth. Nikita's filled with a homicidal rage whenever she sees his outfits. Sheela just vibes with him. She finds it fun to play psychological games with him. An average conversation between the two goes somewhat like:

S: Hey, Rudy, have this perfectly normal drink that I haven't tampered with at all.

R, suspicious: Did.... you put something in this?

S: No, like I said, I haven't put laxatives in it at all. I just took it out of the fridge, poured it in the glass and I'm giving it to you.

R: ...no thanks.

He's paranoid. The drink is just a soda that, like Sheela had said, had not been tampered with at all.

Later:

M: Sheela why were you trying to poison my boyfriend???

S, to R: I WAS NOT YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE I WAS TRYING TO BE NICE TO MY FUTURE BROTHER IN LAW

M: ....Uh. [red in the face] just. Don't put laxatives in his soda.

I feel their relationship would be similar to what Orion and Celia have.

I’m on S2 E5 right now and honestly I don’t like Simon that much

I think he lacks some empathy for the situation of Wille. This goes the other way as well of course, but I think that the misunderstanding is deeper on Simon’s end. Because yes, if Wille had admitted to it being him in his statement, it would have been terrible for him AND for Simon. For Simon, he would’ve been pursued by the news even more instead of it just getting forgotten by the public and he would’ve been blamed and hurt. All of Sweden would have their eyes even more fixated on Wille. ESPECIALLY since the kid’s brother just died. He just became the crown prince. He just found out he’s gay. Imagine how detrimental it could’ve been to him to be outed like that.

Now with August it’s a bit more complicated, but I more so want to focus on the earlier events of the season and the latter part of the last one. Because like, they’re 16. Simon can’t be expecting Wille to give up so much for his first ever relationship.

I’m totally willing and hoping to read other takes on this by the way

What do you think the Potatoes favorite movies would be??

I'm pretty sure it's well established that Aru's favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings movies

Mini would love watching bootleg musicals on Youtube.

I think Brynne would like the fox Robin Hood. Just vibes. It's amazing. She'd also hate Ratatouille with a passion.

Aiden is a movie snob. His favorite movie is one that the rest of them had never heard of, in a language none of them speak. Also documentaries.

I think Rudy would absolutely love Disney movies. His favorite is Beauty and the Beast because Belle reminds him of Mini.

Nikita would love love period pieces, of any kind. But she also hates them, because of historical inaccuracies. For example, they had to turn off Ever After because Nikita was so mad that Leonardo Da Vinci was the fairy godmother character when it makes absolutely no sense time-wise.

Sheela would like mysteries. But she's really good as guessing the endings, so everyone will occasionally get mad at her lol.

I do think that the one movie they all would be able to agree on for movie night is the Princess Bride. Aru does impressions of all of the characters, Brynne talks about how gay it is, and it's one of the only romance movies that Aiden sits through without talking about how dumb the romance is (I am Aiden, my rom-com loving sister hates me lol)
