Had this funny mental image of Arona holding a work meeting discussing her plans etc and all of a sudden she's interrupted by light snoring. The camera pans across and Cole's nodded off to sleep on one of the other agent's shoulders whilst Kincaid has to nudge him back awake. Geel rolls his eyes uninterested as he's picking at the weird questionable red colour only he seems to be able to see under his nails and climbing up his arm. Arona pauses a moment to give everyone the ^-^ look And Turo... just Turos.

as far as we know, i'm assuming kaz's backstory is stretched into 4 episodes, assuming they don't edit it again tomorrow and add more. that 4th episode is named after something kaz says, “When everyone knows you're a monster, you needn't waste time doing every monstrous thing.” kaz says this to inej when he supposedly had people set that girl's apartment on fire when talking with geels. but he didn't, he was bluffing. and do you know another time kaz was bluffing? when he told pekka he buried his son alive. and guess who else we have on that episode:
the little boy whom the kaelish prince was named after. and look at this:
"while Kaz Brekker (Freddy Carter) and his crew attempt to settle an old grudge with vicious rival Pekka Rollins." does that not sound like they're using a bit of the crooked kingdom plotline already to you? with kaz bringing pekka down once and for all and putting him on his knees and asking (once again) if he remembers him and to say jordie's name. when he told pekka his son with the little dime lion toy was buried alive underground in some farm.
imagine kaz asking pekka what he did. what was the name of his brother. and this is when we finally find out after all the happy scenes of kaz and jordie throughout episodes 1 to 3, what tragedy actually had befallen them
#i just know so many of you will see this and focus on them rushing it and using a plotline from ck already but now i do not care much about#them changing the sequence of events as long as they don't change the essence of the story and the characters themselves#we'll always have the books and i'm genuinely excited for this#i just hope they take the characters and their trauma more seriously (i'm talking about inej) and make sure that the characters are still#themselves but its so exciting honestly getting new content#im saying that assuming im right lol#grishaverse#six of crows#soc#shadow and bone#kaz brekker#kaz rietveld#pekka rollins

Jozef Stanislas Poniatowski (1837-1910) was the son of Charles Maurice Joseph. I read on your site that he died in 1910 in Paris. That's wrong. Six weeks after his marriage with Léonide Charner in 1866 he became mental ill. From 1880 until his death July 20, 1910 in Geel, Belgium, where he resided as a psychiatric patient in the wellknown Geel "Colonie des Aliénés'', where the chief psychiatrist Dr. Edmond Aerts was the grandfather of my grandmother. I found his death act in the Geel official registers where he is named J.S. Prince Poniatowski.
Werner Van den Bergh (Belgium)
Thanks a lot for the information, Werner! I’ve update the post according it.

♛ → DORNE present(s) SAFEERAH JORDAYNE, the RULING LADY of THE TOR. when the dragons danced in the sky they thought NO ONE would still fly, but in the blink of an eye, they would all die. the THIRTY year old FEMALE who was LIVELY & IDEALISTIC before they saw the first of the flames, is now BLUNT & IMPATIENT after seeing the last. they’re often associated with the sound of bells attached to dancing feet, the feeling of relief from bathing in cool water on a hot day, the strong smell of hibiscus and the sound of gentle waves colliding with the shore. (mrunal thakur) pinterest / playlist
STORY
safeerah was born as the second child and first daughter of lord shahid and lady afreen jordayne. while she was a happy child, carefree and lively, she also went through periods of discontent and restlessness. it somewhat ceased the moment she fell in love with dancing. while having been taught dance at an early age, she found it more a chore than anything. she had no interest in learning the exact steps or the right movements. she found it too slow and boring. then she was introduced to kathak by one of the teachers in the tor and she fell in love with it. she loved the stories the dance told, the music, how fast it was and the bells wrapped around her ankles. safeerah channelled the restlessness she felt into her dancing.
her days were filled with laughter, dancing, and studying stories she could turn into music and dance. throughout her teenage years, safeerah developed a special kind of water dance that she named geele pair (inspired by the dancing in this and this). it was a style inherently her own. she acquired a reputation for never standing still. for most of her life, it was said that she lacked the inner peace that her brother seemed to possess. it was through meditation that she found a way to calm herself, to find that elusive peace that she sought.
while visiting ghost hill, an incident occurred one night after too much wine had been consumed. she had been performing a dance and went go outside for a breath of air to cool down, but when she returned inside she found her little sister dishevelled and hurt. safeerah eventually got her sister to confess what had happened. she had been assaulted by a drunk lord toland. however, there were no witnesses to the crime. she did not dare to say anything while in the keep of the tolands, unsure of what lord aditya toland might do, but she demanded their servants pack their things and they left ghost hill the very next morning. after returning to the tor, safeerah immediately told rashid what had happened. she wanted justice for their little sister. when her brother declared he wanted a trial by combat, she was satisfied but impatient to see lord toland pay for his crimes.
the trial was postponed due to the death of prince mors which was then followed by rashid's trip to volantis. safeerah sent her little sister to myr to get away from everything until the trial. the youngest jordayne is currently staying with a noble family in myr whose daughter house jordayne hosted years ago and whom safeerah personally taught to dance. she left the tor in the hands of rashid's wife and went to stay with the daynes while her siblings were in essos. she was with them when she received word from princess myriam about rashid's death. saf was in sunspear when his body arrived from volantis. she accompanied him on his last journey to the tor and finally to the sept of the four doors. she has been far more quiet and serious since the passing of her brother.
PERSONALITY
she is very concerned with equality and peace. she lives by the saying 'we are all made of the same clay' which is a saying that is the pillar of house jordayne's beliefs. safeerah is very adamant that she will continue with this philosophy.
saf believes that the tor should be ruled the way rashid would have done so. whenever an official decision has to be made, she often asks herself what rashid would have done in any given situation. this means that she has trouble finding her own voice to guide her.
despite preaching forgiveness and mercy, she finds it nearly impossible to forgive anyone who had a hand in the death of her brother. she feels the same towards the tolands for the assault her sister suffered. while she wants to forgive and let it no longer burden her soul, she finds that she cannot. safeerah feels like a fraud because despite how hard she tries then she cannot forgive with her heart.
saf meditates a lot to try to let go of the anger she feels for all house jordayne has suffered. her preferred form of meditation is to lay on her back and float in one of the waterpools in the tor.
she believes wisdom is the best trait a person can possess even if she does not believe herself wise yet. safeerah believes that she is still too unforgiving and far too impatient to be considered wise but wisdom is her ideal.
RANDOM FACTS
for a long time, she rejected her given name when she was younger, going as far as to ignore people if they called her safeerah instead of saf. but after the death of her father then she embraced the name again as that was the name he and her mother chose for her. she is still called saf as a nickname by friends and family.
safeerah always dresses in bold colours. she prefers a mix of colours and will rarely stick to one. if she does stick to one colour, it is usually green to honour house jordayne.
when safeerah was a little girl who did not truly understand the cycle of samsara, she used to say that she wished to reincarnate as a dolphin in the next life so she could swim carefree through the seas. to this day, she often goes down to the shore to soak her feet in the sea and calm down ― and she still smiles every time she spots the fin of a dolphin out on the horizon.
she has become more religious since the death of rashid, and she believes that he has escaped the cycle of samara and achieved mutki. whereas before she would go to the sept of the four doors whenever she had time, now she prioritises going every week. safeerah has also asked the septon to directly send her monthly reports on what is needed at the sept in regards to food and security.

Scenario where everyone is attending some huge fancy ball or something and Iva scrubs up so well that literally no one recognises her. The only thing that gives her away is her Prosthetic leg. Now I'm wondering if Iva was in attendance to the engagement ball at all and got to see Geel get his ass handed to him via Corvidan and what her thoughts were on that.
Oh I 100% believe she was at the ball, and her thoughts were a mixture of "lol. lmao, even" and "uh-oh."
Like I imagine she grew up in reasonably close proximity to Geel- they didn't wind up being actual playmates for various reasons, but they're cousins, they're in the same noble circles- and Geel is not a subtle person nor one who I think would have endeared himself to Iva.
So one the one hand it's pretty satisfying to see this arrogant asshole who usually gets away with shit just by virtue of being the crown prince get taken down a peg or two, on the other hand she probably knows Geel well enough to correctly guess that he'll want to get revenge somehow once he's done slinking off with his tail between his legs AND since this involves the prodigal daughter of the Dragonsbayne republic this is already an international incident.
Probably didn't predict just how MUCH of an Incident things would become though. In fairness, I don't think Iva could have accounted for Arona.

Quinton's Animation Extravaganza 810

Evil Flower Princess
I was enjoying my day with Miyako, Fluttershy and Quinton Jr. Star Wars Episode VI was to open at the Bijou Theatre in Saffron City and Miyako and I were looking forward to presenting it in front of Animation Land. Just then, Dr. Yumeno contacted me. According to him, Butterfly Evo was controlling butterflies to attack flowers to gather their energy for use in a special man-eating plant that the Jashinka Empire was creating. I immediately rounded up my fellow Powerpuffs and the Mane Six and we headed for Yumeno Invention Laboratory. When we got there, we found out that a young girl gave Kosaku a flower, which the Dynamen used to lure the butterflies into one area and capture them in order to prevent any more flowers from being attacked. However, Butterfly Evo had captured the girl in order to make her the man-eating plant’s first meal. We didn’t have much time left to save her, so we all set out to do so. When we found the Jashinka Empire, DynaRed attacked them before the girl could be thrown in, ultimately leading to Gira and Geel, the bodyguards of Prince Megiddo, a general of the Jashinka Empire, to be eaten as well. Just then, their new general Princess Chimera, revealed herself to us. It turns out Prince Megiddo was originally in charge of this scheme, but Princess Chimera later took control. After briefly dealing with her, Butterfly Evo took us on. I used Flamethrower on him, trapping him in a fiery inferno. The Dynamen then finished him off with their Super Dynamite, but as expected, he underwent the Big Bang Process. My fellow Powerpuffs and I unleashed our monster forms, while the Dynamen summoned their mecha and combined them into Dyna Robo. I proceeded to use Fire Blast on Butterfly Evo, dealing significant damage. Dyna Robo then finished him off with its Lightning Gravity Fall. That night, Star Wars Episode VI opened at the Bijou Theatre in Saffron City and everyone loved it. Next year, we would move on to the Sequel Trilogy.

"That I am my good lady... but don't hold it against me."
The prince stood a little taller offering a curtsey geeling a bow did not fit his style. The ashes of the monkey flew in the wind yet the witch could not find them so all was good. The jabberwakey was not missed though it did make life harder being gone.
"Are you comfortable walking in that or would you like to change?"

What up with the lion boi at Waterloo, and why is that hill so massive? I'm assuming the hill was artificial, and if so, why was it made?
This is a monument at Waterloo called “Lion’s Mound” or in French, Butte de Lion. It is an artificial hill that was ordered by King William I of the Netherlands and construction started in 1820, completed in 1826. It commemorates the location where a musket ball struck the shoulder of William II of the Netherlands (The Prince of Orange), and he was knocked off his horse. It also serves as a memorial to the Battle of Quatre Bras, which was fought two days before Waterloo.
To make the hill, earth was taken from various parts of the battlefield.
The statue of the Lion was sculpted by Jean Louis Van Geel and closes resembles the Medici lions. The Lion is also the heraldic beast on the coat of arms for the Netherlands and symbolizes courage. The Lion’s paw is on a sphere that symbolizes global victory. It weighs 31 tons.
For a fee, tourists can climb the hill and it’s 225 steps. On top you get a panoramic view of the battlefield along with observational telescopes and maps of the battle.

So Prin Ori? How do they feel about the other members of canonically known royalty in the world of Dragonsbayne and how would they react in a scenario where said royals were all thrown into a room for a very important royal meeting etc?
did a kind of experimental "who thinks what" chart for the main three! obviously the thoughts of geel and vanille are largely up to you but this is what i've been toying with :^) it was also an excuse to draw geel and vanille shh
Prin Ori is very much passive - they're well aware that they tend to be overlooked in a room of powerful figures, and that actually works in the Dreamers' favour. a leader who doesn't draw attention is one that doesn't draw the ire or malice of people like Geel.
i think dreamers in general also don't have a particularly impressive reputation - theirs is quiet work, and their power is limited to the realm of sleep. etc etc. who cares if they're at a meeting or not, really?
Ori's presence is also overshadowed by the fact that the Prince/Princess/Prin will always be accompanied by an older, more experienced Dreamer - in Ori's case, it's Lavender's uncle who i still have yet to name. this accompanying councillor will usually field questions and respond, whereas the actual monarch will just sit there and listen.
in a meeting between leaders, Ori is the one to speak last, and quietest. most of the goings-on of a meeting like that will float over their head in a way that makes the other parties think the Dreamers are either rudely disinterested or psychologically incapable of dabbling in political affairs.
neither is true. Dreamer monarchs remember what was said, and if they've done their research beforehand, probably already know what you really think! they just never find good enough cause to meddle in the politicking, and neither does their extended council. they'd rather leave everyone else to it and not draw hassle for the Dreamers.
so i guess how it goes is that Ori doesn't cause any trouble, and will not rise to any trouble directed their way. even Geel will have trouble getting a rise out of them. Vanille may at least get a fraction of respectful conversation due to old treaties, but nothing she can really use or learn from.
(i have this idea - lemme know what you think! - that maybe the Fae and the Dreamers have a kind of long-standing truce, dating way back. they don't have much to do with each other, but when they do, it's relatively respectful and there are lines that are not to be crossed. the Fae have never quite gotten the hang of what it is that Dreamers actually do, though they have come the closest to finding out.)

Remember them from this post? I love them so much
“Ondrine examined me and shook her head like she’d found me lacking. I couldn’t blame her, she could snap me like a twig if she wanted, and I probably would let her.“ Kelos’ first impression of Ondrine

Now that I’m faced with well, his face, some other instinct has overtaken my brain. I can only gape at this human, like an idiot.” Ondrine’s first impression of Kelos

Tailed People Clan Jashinka Empire
Evolved from reptiles who came to earth on a meteor, they evolved in the earth's core, developing advanced science. Initially aiming to turn humans into their own kind, they change tactics to wiping out humans until they are the dominant species.
The Tail Soldiers are the Jashinka Footsoldiers, having only a single tail, serving under the Evolution Beasts, who grow giant in a Big Bang when defeated.
Gira and Geel are Megiddo's Tail Soldier bodyguards.
Bjlgis is Zenobia's dedicated assistant.
Emperor Aton is the 9-tailed Jashinka ruler, he seeks to acquire a 10th tail, said to give ultimate power to a Jashinka. Commanding his generals in their various schemes against mankind.
Prince Megiddo is the 5-tailed son of Aton, and initial commander of the invasion. He forms and immediate rivalry with DynaRed after he chops off one of his tails. He initial works separate to Chimera until losses start to mount.
General Kar is the 7-tailed Jashinka scientist, he developed the Progresser that evolves creatures into Evolution Beasts, and later the Mecha-Progresser.
Princess Chimera is a 4-tailed sorceress and Megiddo's cousin, brought in by Aton as a second commander after enough of Megiddo's schemes fail.
The 7-tailed General Zenobia was sealed in the Millennium Cave for treachery against Aton long ago. Returning, she soon gets command and begins supplanting Megiddo in the ranks.
The mysterious Dark Knight, who has no tails, appears late in the conflict. In battle, he sometimes even assists the Dynaman in beating the Jashinka.

The Dragon Prince SDCC Details that Might Have Been Missed!
So my friend @kuno-chan noticed that there were some things from the Dragon Prince panel at San Diego Comic-Con that nobody really talked about online. We couldn’t let it stay that way, so here is everything important that was said regarding the timeline of the world of Xadia:
The Era of the First elves is the first recorded era 5000 years prior to the current era. Dragons and elves were not allied during this period. There were no distinct primal elves. This is an era before all of that. Humans suffered during this period.
The Rise of Elarion is the era 2000 years prior to the current era. This era marks the turning point in history for humanity. They find a way to wield magic. Humans begin building great civilizations, developing the arts, thriving and growing.
The Era of Sol Regem is the era 1200 years prior to the current era. During this era, dark magic has become an issue and creates conflict between the elves and dragons, and humans. Humans poach and kill powerful magical creatures for their parts. Sol Regem, Archdragon of the Sun, is king of the dragons during this era.
The era 1000 years prior to the current era goes by two names depending on location: In the east, it is the Era of Luna Tenebris. Luna Tenebris is Archdragon of the Moon, is Queen of the Dragons during this time. She makes the decision to spare humans, but banish them to the west on a day that would become known as Judgement of the Half-Moon. In the west, it is an era known as The Mage Wars where humans begin settling the western side of the continent. Powerful mages begin rising as warlords, battling for resources and land. This goes on until eventually the Human Kingdoms begin taking shape over the decades and centuries.
The era 300 years prior to the current era is known under three different names: First is the Era of Avizandum. Avizandum is Thunder’s real name. He is Archdragon of the Sky and King of the Dragons during this era. The second key event is The Fallen Star and we are left to speculate on that. The final key event is The Orphan Queen, referring to the first royal ancestor of Harrow and Ezran.
The era the show’s timeline currently take place in will one day to history be known as The Return of Aaravos.
Sir Phineas Cursed lived during the Era of Sol Regem. He traveled the world with a young elven professor named Delilah Geel. Delilah Geel published the Lost Secrets of Xadia. Phineas is brave and one of the unluckiest humans ever, but unflappingly positive and resilient.

Spoilers for the Dragon Prince Season 4 and beyond.
My collated notes of all the hints about what is coming up in the Dragon Prince, from interviews, AMA, ComicCon panels. Updated with stuff from Through the Moon.
There will be 7 seasons of 9 episodes each total and possibly some side projects. The story will be in three arcs with a time skip between the arcs. Books 4 & 5 makes up the next arc, which may be called the Mystery of Aaravos. Book 4 is Earth.
Side projects have been confirmed to all be part of canon and include a video game set in Xadia, an tabletop RPG game called Tales of Xadia, a possible feature film of the Orphan Queen and a possible side story set during the reign of Sol Regem featuring Sir Phineas the Cursed and his travelling companion an elf professor Delilah Geel (Who wrote the Secrets of Xadia book).
The video game was in play testing in October 2020, and Wonderstorm was still hiring staff to work on it. After S3 came out they said there was going to be an announcement about the game in 2020, but things may have been delayed due to Corvid.
Through the Moon graphic novel is set between seasons 3 and 4. It feature’s Rayla, Callum and Ezran having returned to Katolis and receiving a request from Lujanne to go the Moon Nexus for a ritual at new moon and bring Phoe-Phoe’s ghost feather. While there Rayla seizes the opportunity to use the lake’s power as a portal between life and death to try an answer the questions that have been plaguing her about the fate of her parents, Runaan and whether Viren is truly dead.
There will also be a second graphic novel set between seasons 4 & 5.
Reminder - stuff said in interviews, AMA & so forth is subject to the team changing their mind when it comes to actually putting stuff in the show or books. They’re still planning things out. So take things as “the current idea is this, but we’ll see how it pans out”
There’s no word on how long the time skip between season 3 and 4 will be, however, Through the Moon starts 3 days before new moon and S3 ended 2 days after full moon, which is only 11 days. About 17 days pass in TTM. The Tales of Xadia TRPG is also going to fit in between these season too. AE said a vague ‘lots of weeks.’
Season 4 will include the hero trio trying to address how to heal and start to change things in the world, however there are scars history has left that will impede them. Aaravos will bring those scars to bear, though the creator did say that Aaravos himself didn’t cause those scars, he ‘brought it out’ in the people who did.
There’s a big theme of understanding what’s happened in the past and how it affects what’s happening now. Questioning what their fore-bearers have done, admitting fault and forgiving mistakes. (BTW, this is on both human and Xadian sides).
“Ezran is the key to everything.” Ezran’s empathic ability will allow him to play a role in the world no other can as he can connect to non-human beings. Though the circumstances of S1-3, who his parents are and his strong compassion, Ezran is in a unique position to cause real change.
Callum will learn more Sky magic spells well as obsessing to work a connection to another arcanum - he is dedicated to being the best mage he can be. Callum will always have a conflict between what do you want to do with magic and what will you do for magic. One hint given is that Callum cannot perform healing with his Sky magic. On an Instragram Live AE admitted he was trolling a bit, but said a betting person would pick Callum being the first human archmage. On an AMA there was a hint that historically there may have been elves that learned a second arcanum. (However, interview stated Aaravos’ mastery of all the primals is just him - he’s special).
Callum’s ‘destiny’ is tied in with the Key of Aaravos Rune Cube. It will be very important coming up. The Key is being pulled towards a location in Xadia. The closer it is to the location, the stronger the pull. (Reminder - it previously belonged to Aaravos and unlocks a great power in Xadia). In Callum’s Spellbook it says that once Zym has been returned Callum intends to find out what the Key does and make Harrow proud.
Writers have been very cagey about whether Callum being able to learn an arcanum means other humans can. “Callum learning Primal magic means that Callum learned Primal Magic.”
They’ve referred to him as the first human to learn an arcanum. However, another interview indicates that humans may have been able to connect to the primal sources in the past - thus Callum relearned something that has been forgotten for over a thousand years
Are non-magical species able to evolve into one that can use magic?
JR: There have been humans long in the past that could have AE: Yeah, right JR: They’re like [waves hand], but modern day he’s a phenomena. Like nothing is done like this no longer. AE: Yeah, I mean if Callum is developing the ability to do Primal magic do you believe that Callum is special because he’s the only human who’s able to do it or do you believe that that Callum is special because he’s the first human in forever to realise it is possible for humans. You know that kind of a little bit the question - I mean he’s special either way and right, but is he special because he’s realising that that maybe those limitations weren’t true or is he an exception to to this limitation.
Cartoon Universe interview
Though they did point out there’s not been much incentive in the last 1000 years for humans to learn Primal magic, given that Dark magic is both easier to use and more powerful.
Rayla will have an inner conflict about her future as a Moonshadow elf that she needs to figure out. Including how being friends with humans and wanting to be a protector rather than the assassin she was raised to be will affect her relationships with her people. (Plus, the whole being ghosted and ghosted parents issue needs to be addressed). Update info from TTM: Rayla ends TTM by going on a quest by herself to locate Viren. Her clues are the Storm Spire, a cave and... a giant cocoon.
There is an unspecified but important storyline involving Runaan. But the coins will get addressed at some point. The coins would require very powerful magic to release the trapped elves and it may not be possible for Primal magic. However, Viren is capable of releasing people he has coined. Also, Rayla knows something happened to her parents, but doesn’t specifically know about the coins. Viren showed Rayla a pouch and mentioned adding her to his collection. AMA answer suggests Callum didn’t see what Viren did in the history spell - he just know Viren did something to Rayla’s parents. TtM seems to confirm Callum’s spell didn’t show that part. Whether Gren saw Runaan in the coin seems up to debate - in the novel he knew Viren used magic on Runaan came out holding something small, like a button or coin. (PS. They also confirmed Runaan slew Harrow, and Harrow is dead dead).
Soren has a complicated future ahead of him as he’s lost the only support system he’s known his whole life. He has a lot to learn and many places to go.
Claudia is going to get a lot worse and there’s a long way to go for her, though they did hint that there’s hope for her in the end. Her motivation is love and family, not power. However, she is willing to go to great sacrifices for her family... Also, her hair will get whiter.
“When we get back to her in Season 4, there is some amazing stuff, just in the first few episodes, which by the way are also funny and quirky and all the things we’ve come to love about the character, but she becomes a very critically important driving force of the narrative in Season 4.”
Inverse interview.
It will be explained in S4 how Claudia was able to perform the resurrection spell. It hasn’t been used previously because she either a) didn’t know it - as in Aaravos taught her it - or b) didn’t have what was necessary to cast the spell.
The story about how Claudia managed to find a supposedly extinct for a 1000 years unicorn and capture it will be addressed in S6.
According to Claudia’s VA - Racquel Belmonte - Claudia will likely have a protege dynamic with Aaravos. She will change her mind a bit on disliking all elves and open up a bit on seeing Viren’s connection to Aaravos.
They have a backstory about why Viren treats Soren so harshly compared to Claudia (though he’s manipulative of both), though it’s not indicated when this backstory will be shown. New info from the book said that Viren used dark magic to save Soren from dying of an illness. This ravished his appearance and whatever he did scared his wife, Lissa, into leaving him. Also Viren wanted a son who would carry on his path and is disappointed Soren isn’t like him. Viren feels some resentment towards Soren that he refuses to acknowledge.
AMA confirmed that Lissa will not be making an appearance in S4 or 5. There is a possibility she may be included in S6, but it’s just a potential idea. Early mage fam life involving Lissa will come up in the novels. (BTW she currently lives in Del Bar and was in no danger from the smoky assassin as she has nothing to do with the leadership of Del Bar)
Viren became a bit of a card carrying villain in season 3, however in season 4 & 5 some of the complexities behind his actions will be revealed. (His VA said that Viren had understandable reasons in S1 & 2, but was a villain in S3, however, he’s happy with how S4 & 5 will develop Viren. Also he gave a strong hint that Viren will have a kind of “fresh start” thing going on, and “do a 180″, and his story is apparently kinda wild).
Viren and Aaravos: Viren didn’t take Runaan’s warning that “you found something worse than death” seriously enough. Viren is ‘in hot water’ in his dealings with Aaravos. The question over time would be - “Wait, am I making my own choices or am I being led to choices you wanted me to make, Aaravos?”
This current era will be known as the Return of Aaravos. Apparently in S4 & 5 Aaravos is going to be very... mysterious. In fact the arc could be called The Mystery of Aaravos.
“The next two seasons are about understanding who Aaravos was, who they thought Aaravos was, how they realized what was happening, and imprisoned him.”
This is tied into the Orphan Queen storyline, for more info see this post. Parts of this storyline will feature in flashbacks S4 onwards.
A lot of Aaravos’ motivation comes from a relationship he had with a character whose name is featured on the map from the novel. (Candidates are Skall’s Hook, Ruins of Elarion, Mount Kalik and Eboreus. They said on a Q&A that Elarion wasn’t referring to a person, just the city).
Aaravos has a speech coming up in S5 that explains about the history of magic and why he’s interested in humans. Summed up - Over 5000 years ago there was only one kind of magic, deep magic, and it was very difficult to wield, then something happened that split magic into the 6 Primals Source and gave every creature and plant a connection to one of the 6 Primal Sources, which were much more practical magics. Except humans.
When asked what was coming out of the cocoon an interviewer gave “Aaravos’ physical form” and some jokes options. Ehasz replied, “I’m gonna say none of the… well, I’m not gonna say.” TtM update: In the world between life and death the cocoon held a corrupted version of Viren - a month after Viren was resurrected at the end of S3. Rayla says Viren is caught between life and death, but in the living world.
Janai is Queen Khessa’s heir, so she should be the next Sunfire Queen. Janai also has a brother. (Sunfire elves also have a Light Being form with healing powers that’s even rarer than the beserker Heat Being form. This fact has come up a couple of times so they’re likely going to introduce a character with this form - could be Janai’s brother).
Janai will find out that Aaravos whispered something in Khessa’s ear before he killed her.
Also on Amaya and Janai:
Also, they did a reveal page for Janai's mount, a Twin-Tailed Inferno-Toothed Tiger, with some interesting info. These flying firecats are believed to only tolerate those of pure-heart and aggressive to those of ill-intent. You can't give a factoid like that and not use it somewhere.
Tales of Xadia will feature storyline content that bridges the gap between Season 3 and the newly-announced Season 4 of The Dragon Prince,” according to Fandom’s press release. “Players can explore the ruins of Lux Aurea, try to restore the corrupted Sunforge, and fight to stop the spread of the evil monstrosities it radiates. This off-screen story will come alive in game supplements—as well as in organized play events—prior to Season 4’s release.
Forbes
Sol Regem will be in season 4. (No character makes me think of “scars of the past” more than this character. He is not going to be interested in reconciliation between Xadia and humanity).
There will be a new elf character - Terry the Earthblood elf. Has similar powers to Toph from Avatar tLA and is said to be very funny. For reference this Earthblood elf is from Callum’s Spellbook;
Also a new dragon in season 4 - Rex Igneous (Fire King) the Earth Archdragon, who lives underground but comes up every hundred years. He’s appeased by food he hasn’t tried before (looking at Ezran and his jelly tart habit here);
They mentioned that both Earthblood and Tidebound elves will be introduced in seasons 4 & 5.
There’s another archdragon who has been mentioned at SDCC and in the novel, Luna Tenebris, who reigned between Sol Regem and Avizandum.. Ehasz said that the end of her reign is being explored in S4, but no current intentions to explore the beginning.
JR mentioned that the territory of the Skywing elves will be visited at some point, and how having a small portion of the population that has wings, and a even smaller population that can magically manifest wings, has an affect on their culture. (The three types apparently have different outlooks - with winged elves being known for moving on when they don’t care to deal with things).
They’ve mentioned a character that will be introduced in the video game will make it into the show. AE & JR were talking about how they were currently writing stuff for S5 and how this character just got their moment, so I think this character is due in S5.
Core novel Book 2: Sky will introduce a very important Dark Mage character not yet featured on the show.
Also, as a tidbit from AE - there’s a scene in S5 where someone makes a sacred promise to Bait.
Sarai will feature in the show again. AMA confirmed Callum’s father is “fully human.” His father may come up in the novels.
In the novel new lore about unicorns was introduced. This lore will be incorporated into the show at some point.
The reactions to elf/human romantic relationships will be a thing.
Aanya will be featured again. Ezran and Aanya will be friends.
Queen Fareeda of Evenere actually survived the smokey assassin’s attack - she just went missing for a bit. Her story may come up later on.
Captain Villads and Berto are likely to be featured again, but not confirmed.
They do have some stories about Callum’s father they want to tell, but it’s likely to be in books rather than making it into the show.
Crow Master has scenes coming up. The Crow Lord is real but that’s all they’re gonna say.
Some very epic beings will eat jelly tarts in the show.
And a finishing note to put the fear in you - possible major character death.
PS. It has been confirmed that Rayla, Callum, Zym (and Bait) are the main characters for all seven seasons, so this leaves... Soren, Claudia, Viren and Amaya.

GuyS i made my ocs from Citrus Hunt in the picrew @sangled made !!
Here is Citrus, around 10 or 11, suffered from amnesia after a childhood accident, which left her on the streets of Hanzlet. She can hear your thoughts and read high level texts. Most of the time she’s climbing on roofs.
Geels is 15 and he also lives on the streets because his parents were falsely accused of conspiracy against the throne when he was young. He met Citrus one day and just took her under his wing. Was it the worst or best decision of his life? We may never know.
Marvin is also 15, he hates his family so he wanders around the country a lot and gets caught up in adventures. He fangirls over politics and is trying (and failing) to establish himself as a writer. He’ll never admit it, but Citrus could probably write better than him if she had a pen and paper and half as much time.
Ivory is 22 and she is rich because of the payments the state made to her after her brother died in the military. That combined with the money she made as the Black Butcher, the mercenary of urban legends. It’s nothing she’s proud of, so she tries her hardest to atone for her killing and richness.
Drella is 24 and she was the original Black Butcher before an accident that left her left leg permanently damaged. She still keeps tabs on what’s happening underground, and she also sews lace. She’s also Ivory’s girlfriend. She did most of the decorating because she can’t stand Ivory’s sense of style.
Caiside is 16 and he’s a prince of Hanzlet. Since he’s not yet of age, he hasn’t made an official appearance in front of the country, so the populus doesn’t know what he looks like. He takes advantage of this by partying every night to fill the void of loneliness in his heart.
Valovette is 22 and she is the queen of Hanzlet. She is Caiside’s older sister. She recently came into power after her parents’ sudden death. She’s well liked by the country. She played a lot of music in her teenage years, but that passion died along with her parents.
Avitus is 20 and he’s the crown prince of Hanzlet. He’s the middle child of the royals. He’s very involved in both the legislative body and the military. He’s close to both his siblings, but takes Valovette’s side more. He’s afraid of social rejection so he keeps most of his niche interests a secret.

As much as I love the idea of the prince of flowers and the chapters, especially the scene with lances mom bevause I feel like that's so realistic if the disease was actually real. I don't know how I geel that Lance is guiltiing Keith into the relationship. Like I know it's to set up for the relationship not being healthy, but I kinda wonder what it have been like if Lance kinda let fate decide like all the movies he watches (Though this scenario works too). And then Hunk or his mom spills it+
To keith. Like that scenerio, and then having it go from there with Keith not knowing how to confront Lance about it, and Lance being oblivious to the fact that Keith knows, and then they have a confrontation about it. Kinda like how the story is now, except some parts in reverse leading to the museum date, and Lance spilling his feelings. I guess I’m actually fine with the lance thing, if only certain things kinda built up to Lance having no choice but to tell Keith or something.
There are quite a few fics with the set up you are thinking of. In fact this one was inspired by one such fic.
Honestly though, it wouldn’t feel very in character to have Lance keep it under wraps eternally. Lance isn’t like Keith, who bottles things up and either never talks about it (his issues with thinking he was half-galra) or only talks about it when confronted (pulling away from the team and becoming part of the BoM).
When Lance has a problem he talks about it. We find out about all Lance’s issues because he talks about them to someone. He felt homesick, he brought it up to somebody. He feels he doesn’t have a thing on the team, he talks to the first alien he runs into about it. He worries about his position in Red when Shiro comes back, he beelines to Keith’s room to talk to him. The Blue Lion won’t open up, he confesses his fears to Allura. Lance doesn’t bottle, Lance shares and deals with his issues by talking them over with other people. Even if he’s only using those other people as sounding boards for his own thoughts.
Having Lance not talk might be good for a Lance centric fic where sympathy needs to be drummed up for a very unsympathetic action (essentially threatening to commit suicide unless Keith loves him back), but it’s not very true to how he’d respond to the issue if he found himself in this position.
Sorry if my answer is a little long and argumentative. I’ve just thought on this issue a lot before I actually decided to write this fic.
