You could drop one of yours OCs in other people’s stories.... which OC? Which story would they feel most at home in? Which one would they cause the most trouble in? Which one would they find their soulmate in?

oh wow this is such an awesome question and made me stop and think. after a lot of consideration i would say:

i honestly would love to drop my arrow oc Mari into shadow of hell (@princes-jasmine ) I think it would be so much fun to see Mari reacting to the similarities and differences between the dctv and the dceu. honestly, she would kick ass in dceu and would be so impressed by Roni and think she’s amazing. they would probably get along great because of similar experiences (past isolations, past tragic loves, complicated history with slade wilson, not the most moral methods at times) they could be badass, bi queens together.

As for the oc who would cause the most trouble, I would say Ana in death valley (@ginnygardeners ) because her Argent training would be such powerful instincts to her, she would probably attack any culebras first, and then try to figure out where she is and what kind of creatures they are after killing most of them. i also think Ana would meet her soulmate in this fic because Santiago Rosende is such a cutie and they would bond instantly despite trust issues because of their similar pasts (a parent considered insane, both of them become hunters who investigate weird shit on their own). They could understand each other, be loyal to each other, and Santiago could give poor Ana some happiness in her life by breaking through her cold shell.

GPM Satellite Probes Dangerous Category Five Hurricane Irma

NASA & JAXA - Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) logo / NASA - Suomi NPP Mission logo. Sept. 7, 2017 Irma (Atlantic Ocean) The GPM core observatory satellite had an exceptional view of hurricane Irma's eye and found extreme rainfall within the Category 5 storm’s eyewall.

The Global Precipitation Measurement mission or GPM core satellite passed over Irma on September 5, 2017 at 12:52 p.m. EDT (1652 UTC). At NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland a rainfall analysis was created using data from GPM's Microwave Imager (GMI) and Dual-Frequency Precipitation Radar (DPR) data. At the time, Irma was approaching the Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of about 178 mph (155 knots). This made Irma a dangerous category five hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale. Intense rainfall is shown within Irma's nearly circular eye. GPM's DPR uncloaked precipitation that was falling at a rate of more than 10.8 inches (274 mm) per hour in the solid ring of powerful storms within Irma's eye wall. At NASA a 3-D image was created using GPM's radar (DPR Ku band) data. GPM's radar revealed that the extremely powerful storms rotating around the eye were reaching altitudes greater than 7.75 miles (12.5 km). The tallest thunderstorms were found by GPM's radar in a feeder band that was located to the southwest of Irma's eye. These extreme storms were reaching heights of over 10.0 miles (16.2 km). GPM is a joint mission between NASA and the Japanese space agency JAXA. Warnings and Watches on Sept. 6 A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Antigua, Barbuda, Anguilla, Montserrat, St. Kitts, and Nevis, Saba, St. Eustatius, and Saint Maarten, Saint Martin and Saint Barthelemy, British Virgin Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Vieques, and Culebra, Dominican Republic from Cabo Engano to the northern border with Haiti, Guadeloupe, Southeastern Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 185 mph (295 kph) with higher gusts.  Irma is a category 5 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.  Some fluctuations in intensity are likely during the next day or two, but Irma is forecast to remain a powerful category 4 or 5 hurricane during the next couple of days. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 50 miles (85 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles (280 km). Virgil: I think Roman might call Virgil “querido” which means dear/dearest. He could also call him “Mi principe de sangre morada” which is a play on the phrase “principe de sangre azul” which means blue blooded prince, (which refers to a prince with a high royal status) but the its purple instead. He might also call

Logan: he might call him “hermano” (or “mano” if the interaction is less formal) which means brother or bro. Or maybe “maestro” which means teacher

Deceit: I think he might call Deceit “una lombriz” which means worm, or just “Culebra” which means snake.

Patton: He might call Patton “compadre” which means friend, or me might say to him “Eres un padre muy padre” which is a pun, cause padre means both dad and cool. So it translates to “you’re a cool dad” (it sounds kinda stupid now that I translate it but whatever.)

Plebe (something to call a guy, similar to “dude”)

(Most of these are specifically from southern Mexico because my dad grew up there and I learned lots of slang terms and stuff from him. Feel free to message me for more Spanish help if you need to! Good luck with your thing! 👌🇲🇽

Spanish help?

I’m looking for a little language help since I am painfully monolingual while trying to write a bilingual character. Things you guys think Roman would call Virgil in Spanish (or spanglish). They can be insulting, endearing, romantic, angry, general observations, words with no direct English equivalent, or even puns/play on words that may or may not make any sense when translated (if you do one of those, please explain it). You can give single words, titles, phrases, sentences, or whatever (you can literally send me a three paragraph long angry Roman spanglish rant and I would be grateful). Just be sure to have the meaning of it in English beside it (and any connotations or explanations if needed).

If you are feeling extra creative, you can add (platonic) things for Patton, Logan, Deceit, Talyn, Joan, Thomas, Emile Picani, Remy, and Roman himself. I might throw in some of Thomas’ other friends, some other shorts characters, and other characters from Cartoon Therapy in places, so don’t worry if a character you have an idea for isn’t listed. Even if I don’t use your suggestion, it might end up being perfect for another writer so go nuts! ^_^
