Time for some "The Perfect Family" AU headcannons

(Is it a headcanon if YOURE the creator?)

• Since Rae uses Concealer a lot, he also dabbles in other make up, like eyeliner looks etc

- Aax sees them and always compliments them

• Aax has briefly seen Raes mark, but never said anything about it (because he A: knew he may get into trouble for learning a "family secret" and B: knew Rae wasn't ready to talk about it at the time)

• Icarus got some new funky ingredients to mess with from an unknown supplier, but the chemicals quite literally blew up in their face. The side effect was that their eye is now purple and on occasion - mainly under stress - it would bleed

- The chemicals came from Quixis, although they act like a subscription you can't cancel and it always some weird or dangerous stuff that gets sent. Whenever they try to send it back, everyone claims there's nowhere it came from

• Ven has the same job he does in Canon and was actually one of the first ways Rae knew something was up with their mothers disappearance.

• Caspian would save certain books Rae may like.

- he's working on his own story, but is always too shy to show Rae

• Ulysses is like that mysterious character that's like where someone tells you about as a last restort because there's spooky rumours around his name

• Caspian has yet to see Raes mark, or his real green eye, but on their journey he learns about it and doesn't care, insisting that Rae is "still gorgeous- I mean pretty- you look fine- I mean you look great, in like a aesthetic point of view- no wait-"

• Momboo and Ocie run a joint plant and ocean trinket shop. Centross, is a farmer and Wolf is a buisness investor.

• Athena is learning to rule over SoulFire Kingdom and Len is her Regent.

- Soul is in a sleep like coma state and Netherum is missing.

• Not that a lot of people know about it, but the Aether lands were destroyed many years ago.

- They encounter Will and Seven on their journey

• Rae went to Caspians bookshop with Aax one day and poor Cas' heart-

• For formal events and meetings Rae and Icarus wear the "royal colours" (golds) but in alone time, Rae wears purples and blues. Icarus does keep to gold but adds colours with under/overshirts and accessories

• Icarus' lab coats is the split colour yellow and purple and they like to wear it often given that it's actually really comfy

• Will and Seven don't usually settle down for too long in one place and they have to keep being on the lookout for parts and copper for Seven so he can stay operational.

• While yes, the royal family have the best suppliers for their needs, Rae and sometimes Icarus like to go into town and buy things off their friends - tipping very generously where need be.

• When Rae first mentioned their journey to his friends, he was originally telling them so they wouldn't worry in his absence and in worse case, could cover for him, but there was no way Rae was going with just 1 guard, plus everyone wanted to go and had skills the prince could benefit from. Caspian, Centross, Wolf & Ocie went along. Momboo stayed behind to look after her kids. Jamie snuck away to join them a couple days later.

To be honest, I actually had a crush on both Edmund and Prince Caspian.

As a kid, I really liked the change they made with the ending of Prince Caspian; the whole Caspian and Susan ship. It's one of my earliest OTPs. Then a few years later, I realized how problematic that change was because of the existence of Ramandu's Daughter (or Lilliandil in the movie) and her role in the story.

Okay, I still ship them but I headcannon that in the movie adaptation, let's say they did go as far as doing all of the books, the Caspian x Susan thing is one of the reasons for Susan's loss of faith. I headcannon that the whole thing scarred her: imagine getting used to England then getting back to Narnia and hating it, then meeting Caspian, and suddenly, being Narnia is somehow enjoyable for her again, then being told that you are to never return again. I think that would turn anyone bitter.

Watching Narnia With Ben Barnes

It was a rainy day in London which meant it was the perfect opportunity to cuddle up with your boyfriend Ben and watch movies

Unfortunately for you, Ben has a terrible habit of falling asleep mid-movie

"Baby, I promise I won't fall asleep this time"

Famous last words because half-way through Ways To Live Forever, he is snoring quietly beside you

Being the darling girlfriend you are, you decided to let him have his rest

The movie finished and the actor was still away in dreamland

After flicking through movies you'd already seen, something caught your eye

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian came up as a suggested watch

As with most actors, Ben hated watching his own films so you never got to watch anything he was in. Unless he was away filming

But now seemed like the perfect time because knowing Ben, he would stay asleep through this movie as well

And you were right… until you laughed a bit too loudly

You looked down to where a sleeping Ben had been peacefully on your lap to see a pair of gorgeous sleep-glazed eyes staring at you

"I am so sorry my love, really didn't mean to wake up" You said gently stroking his hair and hoping he'd go back to sleep so you didn't have to turn the movie off

With a smile and a stretch, Ben was up and awake

But he hadn't realised that you were watching his film yet

Wordlessly, he cuddled up to you again and started watching the film

Maybe he hadn't woken up properly or maybe he couldn't remember shooting this movie but he happily sat and watched

About 10 minutes go by and that's when a very young Ben Barnes as Caspian steps onto the screen

You would laugh at your boyfriend's wide-eyed stare but you had a feeling that this wasn't going to end well

"You tricked me! Here I am innocently embracing the woman I love but no, you sneaky minx made me watch this"

Okay, now you were giggling your heart out

"In my defence, you were fast asleep and I didn't expect you to wake up until at least the end"

He may nearly be 40 but this man can sulk like a teenager

The next 10 minutes went with Ben sulking and rejecting you like you were a plague

So you tried a different tactic

Compliment someone else till he gets jealous

It's quite easy to make Ben jealous, especially when he is in this mood

"Honestly, I forgot how attractive King Peter is"

"Wow the muscles, time for me to move to Narnia"

"That solider could definitely raid me"

So not all of the comments were amazing but hey, it's hard to fawn over other guys when you have such a handsome boyfriend

Ben's sulking didn't last long after the comment were made

Mumbles of "I bet Peter couldn't pleasure you as well as I could" and "Pfft he can't even grow a beard"

You heard a massive grumble mixed with a sigh leave your boyfriend's mouth

"Okay princess, new rule. You can complement Caspian but if you mention any other guy's name in this, I am turning the movie off immediately"

Ben was joking but in some sense he wasn't and you knew that he would stick to his word

You agreed and for the rest of the movie, you kept your adoration for only your boyfriend's character

And Ben kept cringing at how young he looked and how terrible his accent was

"Good thing I watched this movie with you babe, almost forgot how pretty Susan was"

You have never turned the TV off quicker

Even with a cheeky smile on his face, that comment would not be ignored

If looks could kill, Ben would be six feet deep

You glare at him for a few seconds before you open your mouth to say something

Unfortunately, Ben had other ideas and quickly threw you over his shoulder before running to your shared bedroom

"Benjamin Thomas Barnes, if you think I am going to sleep with you after that comment, you are insane"

"Well then I must be insane but thankfully I am also irresistible"

Let's just say he was right, no one could take care of you the way Ben could ;)

Okay you can’t tell me otherwise that Edmund doesn’t like video games

You and him have this unofficial rule that Fridays after school is your time together

You too meet up at your locker and walk out of school together to Edmunds car

Anyways, you both usually end up going to Mcdonalds or some other really greasy fast food drive through and order two shakes

You swear you can stay like that with him all day, and you usually do

You both are usually seconds away getting caught by his siblings when you get...carried away

He then always listens to it

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone walking down the woods a young girl, around his age. " hello who are you?" He was trying his best to act kind and generous but he was annoyed the Russel of plants made Edmund touch his blade when he turned his head he saw you present yourself. He never saw Elfs before never in Narnia or he didn't look hard enough.

You shrank back seeing you're king he was back. You smiled the long gown cover you and you're hair covering your ears but you knew the prince saw your ears. You bowed sloppy not thinking right He smiled walking closer to you saying " what you're your name?" You had a basket of flowers in you're hand and that why you went out of your small village to grab the flowers to heal your elders with the correct medical flowers. " y/n" Edmund heard Lucy and Caspian calling his name before he could leave you were already gone, he looked down seeing a flower you had dropped from you're basket he looked at it holding it, in his hands turning around seeing them "let's go."

With him losing his father, mother and his kingdom being stolen you are the only thing he can count on

When Miraz goes to kill him he refuses to leave with out you.

The Narnians quickly grow to like you which puts Caspian at ease

He hates how Peter stares at you, you belong to him

He only allows you around Lucy and sometimes Edmund

Susan is a no go because always around you

maturing is realizing that edmund pevansie wasn’t a slytherin- he was more of a gryffindor than peter was.

you know how there’s that headcannon that the pevansies were the founders of hogwarts? well, everyone says that susan would be ravenclaw and lucy would be hufflepuff- which i totally agree with, but then everyone says peter would be in gryffindor and edmund would be in slytherin. i don’t think that’s true at all. here’s what i think- 

edmund did bad things, but gryffindor is not inherently good and slytherin is not inherently bad, right? edmund showed so much bravery when he went up against the white witch in the lion the witch and the wardrobe, and yes, when he first met her he fell for her tricks. HOWEVER! when harry potter first met barty crouch jr he thought he was actually mad eye moody. GRYFFINDORS ARE NOT PERFECT! 

you should not assume that peter’s a gryffindor just because he’s the ‘golden boy,’ peter was way more of a slytherin than people think. his whole rivalry with prince caspian? slytherin. his ambition to be the one to kill the white witch? slytherin. his need to be the hero? ALSO SLYTHERIN. 

i’m just saying, don’t judge a book by its cover- there’s more to these characters than what meets the eye.
