The Trainee continues to be perfect: A post-episode 4 praise post
We got to see more of the interns this week and all the unique flavor of foolishness each of them were capable of. The first half of the episode was cartoonishly hilarious, as we got to see the interns run around like headless chickens for no goddamn reason. But the best parts of the episode came in the later half:
Ba Mhee and Pie bond in the bathroom after facing some good ol' workplace misogyny. And Pie finally confesses what's been bothering her the whole day: she has a meeting scheduled with Baimon to talk about the previous day's shoot and her mistake. Pie was wrong to let the extra go without checking with others in the production crew, but that does not mean that she's incompetent. And Ba Mhee makes sure that Pie hears that. It was a heartfelt moment between the girls and I was over the moon when Pie teared up. I've had workplace bathroom meltdowns and I've supported my friends/co-workers through their workplace bathroom meltdowns, and the most pressing concern in this situations is that we would be viewed as unprofessional in these situations. Well, fuck that. When we gotta feel the emotions, we gotta feel 'em. And may we all always have a bestie in the bathroom with us to wipe the tears and snot off our face, and tell us "You're doing amazing, sweetie".
Tae had the right idea to let the adults know about the broken hard drive, but the Council of Dunces voted it down and they spent the entire day wasting their time. And when the jig was finally up, the adults were rightfully incredulous because of course they have a backup, they are a media company, they wouldn't put all their work on one (1) drive! The lesson was two-fold: 1. Interns are allowed to make mistakes, they're here to learn. And 2. they should communicate with their team/mentors freely because sometimes the solution could be very simple and they wouldn't know it because they're new in the industry and are here to learn. Perfect execution of a workplace arc, 10/10.
Pie went into the meeting thinking that she's gonna get fired, but quickly found out that the case is the opposite. Jane assigned her to run Unit B because he knew she was capable of handling it alone, and he wanted it to be her stepping stone for moving into the second Assistant Director position. I love how both Jane and Baimon highlighted that her confidence was not the problem, because it is rightfully rooted in the knowledge of her competence. The problem was her not communicating with the team before acting on her decisions. And I also love that Pie was allowed to be weepy here as well. My girl has had A Day and she's only a wee intern. We've already established that she's more than capable of holding her own in this industry, she's gonna be fine. Bonus points for showing us how Ryan is genuinely happy for her, and for using her weepy garbles to show us that Ryan's crush on Jane is blossoming nicely.
I am so happy that the show is so consistent in its themes, story arcs, and its comedic flair. The show knows exactly what it wants to do every week and does it perfectly. And for that I will continue to show up with my wholehearted support.
#jane and ryan was not the primary focus this week#but jane still managed to make me drool by backing up pie and being the best mentor ever#when they start going hard on the romance i'm gonna turn into a puddle#the trainee#the trainee the series#thai bl

I am a studyblr but I have NOTHING cute to say about my studying experiences.
I will say that I am proud of myself for actually sticking with it and not completely losing the will to live because yet again, the institution have let me and my mental health down.
The transphobia I experienced while on school placement was honestly soul destroying. I got moved to another school and was expected to just pick myself up and keep going at like double the rate from my previous school placement.
I couldn’t access counselling as they only operated during school hours when I was teaching. I don’t think they really understood how desperately I needed counselling, especially after that experience. I am still processing it months later. I will always be wary of schools that say they are “welcoming” now.
I had ZERO protection from harm from my university, even my peers were blatantly transphobic to me and when I reported them, they were not pulled up on it.
The only person who was my champion and understood what I was going through was this extremely successful headteacher of my lead school who stepped UP and got me out of that situation and put me with his husband in his class and if it wasn’t for that allyship and solidarity I would not be graduating tomorrow.
Oh yeah, I am graduating tomorrow! My family are not attending. It will be just me and my partner. I am learning to not expect anything from my family anymore which has been extremely lonely because this has been one of the hardest years of my life and they were not around, never checked in on me, and when I phoned them in pieces they just said I would be fine. I wasn’t fine, I am not fine. I am strong as heck and I pulled myself through.
I made it. I did all my assignments and now I am on the other side knowing I can only count on myself to get through life’s challenges, but that it is safe to reach out and there are some real amazing people in the education system and I cannot wait to connect with more of these incredible professionals.
I am a qualified teacher in PGCE Primary with QTS (tbc this summer aaaaa)
I am sorry that I don’t have a nice fluffy thing to say about my studies, but the reality is that it wasn’t fluffy and I nearly quit and had a terrible experience. But I still made it. I am still qualifying! I am proud of myself and have never felt this resilient in all my life
You got this, and when things are the worst, they will get better, but reach out and speak out, say what you need to happen and make sure it does.

Syncing Dream [Aespa x M!Reader]
1. New life…as what now?
Note: primary vs secondary acc issue, repost it now to the right place. Enjoy!
Masterlist here
It had been years since Y/n left the relentless grind of trainee life behind him. It was a chapter he thought they'd never revisit—especially not from the outside looking in.
His new life had a quieter rhythm.
No more sprinting to dance practices or losing sleep memorising lyrics. Instead, Y/n had been picking up odd jobs in the entertainment industry—small gigs, freelance work, and most recently, running errands for people still in the idol bubble. Heck, he even finished his mandatory services the moment he left his early days.
Y/n stretched, basking in a rare moment of peace as he sat in a quiet café. The iced Americano sweating in front of him was untouched, but that wasn’t a surprise.
He weren’t really there to drink coffee. More like he was trying to figure out what came next. The timeframe of unemployment is real…
Sure, there were opportunities, but nothing that screamed "this is it!"
Just as his thoughts began to drift into existential territory, their phone buzzed on the table.
"SM CEO."
Y/n’s brow furrowed. SM? What could they possibly want? He hadn't stepped foot in that building since—
No time to dwell. He swiped to answer.
"Hello, sir?"
A crisp, professional voice on the other end greeted them, and Y/n immediately recognized it—the CEO he occasionally met during their trainee days. "Y/n, it’s been a while."
Y/n nodded, as if the person on the phone could see them. "Good morning sir. What’s up?"
"Ah, nothing too stressful. I just want to ask how would you feel about rejoining the team—"
Y/n’s heart skipped a beat. "Wait, wait, wait," he interrupted, half-joking, half-anxious. "With all due respect, you’re not trying to re-sign me as a trainee, are you? I don’t think my back can handle another round of choreography."
The voice chuckled lightly. "No, no. Not as a trainee. We actually have a bit of a different proposition for you. It’s related to aespa."
"aespa?" That name hit Y/n like a sudden gust of wind.
aespa. The super rookies who had been making waves all over the industry and one of the biggest girl groups leading the 4th generation of K-pop.
And Winter… his mind went there instinctively.
While they still regularly talked to each other, he remembered he was adamant about leaving his past trainee life behind and pursue blue collar jobs. Winter was someone Y/n had trained alongside before she debuted.
Y/n felt a pang of nostalgia—mixed with a little guilt. He didn’t want to be a disappointment to his childhood friend. "what about them?"
-
“Wait, hold up… what?”
The words felt stuck in Y/n’s throat, awkwardly lodged between disbelief and mild panic. The fluorescent lights above the SM CEO’s office flickered softly, adding to the sense of surrealistic reality. Y/n’s palms felt clammy as the director continued with that calm, almost amused smile, the kind that said, "Welcome to the deep end of the pool—good luck swimming."
“You’re going to manage aespa,” the director said again, this time like he was offering Y/n a cup of coffee, not rearranging his entire life.
Y/n blinked, their mind working overtime to piece together what was just said. “Manage… as in… manage manage?” He tried to keep their voice steady, but the end of the sentence squeaked out a little too much. It didn’t help that the director just nodded, nonchalant as ever.
"Yes. You're aware we're short-staffed, and your background as a trainee means you're already familiar with how the company operates. Their current manager had to step down suddenly due to health reasons, and we need someone to step in on short notice. Someone familiar with the company’s ways and preferably, someone who’s worked with Winter before. That’s where you come in."
Y/n’s heart did a weird flip. Of all the things he had expected—maybe helping out behind the scenes, doing some coordination work—this was not it. Y/n was barely done figuring out their own path, and now he had to figure out the path for one of K-pop’s biggest girl groups?
The panic was rising, but Y/n swallowed hard, trying to keep it together. “B-but, I was just a trainee before this.. I've never took any management courses before?”
The director leaned forward slightly, folding his hands together. “Yet, that experience as a trainee means you know about the idols' health and wellbeing more than everyone else. Everything else you can definitely learn on the job.”
"B-but-"
"And we think it will be better as well considering you and Minjeong auditioned together and got in together."
Ah right, Winter and Y/n were childhood friends. Sure, managing her wouldn't be too hard considering god knows how long they hung out together, but the rest of the members? Just the thought of it made Y/n gulped.
"Don't worry, the other managers will teach you your role. Red Velvet's manager will brief you after our talk." The director stood up, signalling the end of the conversation. “Your first day starts tomorrow. Get some rest tonight.”
Leaving Y/n alone in the room, he thought "…Minjeong will have a fcking field day with this…”
-
Y/n hadn’t slept a wink. The alarm clock was practically taunting them as it beeped at 6 a.m., the early start not unusual in idol life.
If the old Y/n—back when he was a trainee—had thought the pace of idol life was fast, stepping into a manager’s shoes was like jumping onto a bullet train already at full speed. There was no time to get acclimated, no luxury of easing into the role. Y/n showed up to the SM building the very next morning, and the minute he stepped through those familiar glass doors, the whirlwind began.
"Y/n, good to see you again!" One of the staff greeted them, barely pausing for pleasantries as she handed them a clipboard. "Here’s aespa’s schedule for the next two days. Red Velvet's manager will teach you today, but from tomorrow onwards, it’s all on you."
Y/n blinked, scanning the clipboard. Music show rehearsal. Commercial shoot. Dance practice. Fan sign event. And that was just before lunch on day one. "Wow… this is… intense," he muttered under their breath.
The staff member laughed. "Welcome to the life of an idol manager. You’ll get used to it."
He wasn’t ready for this. Hell no.
Yet, somehow, at 8:45 a.m., Y/n found himself standing outside aespa’s practice room, a bundle of nerves in the pit of their stomach. Through the glass window, Y/n could see the four girls, laughing about something, stretching, and getting ready to practice, while Red Velvet's manager briefing them their schedules and began to introduce their new manager.
This was going to be weird. Y/n hadn’t been around the group since the trainee days, and even then, he had been on the outside looking in. Minjeong… oh god, Minjeong. He really didn't tell her anything about this new role, just hinting that he got a job.
"Deep breath," Y/n muttered to themselves. It was just a job. Just another day.
As he opened the door, the laughter in the room died down almost instantly. Four sets of eyes turned to Y/n, and the tension hung in the air like fog. Karina stood in the centre, arms folded, eyebrows raised slightly as if sizing up an opponent.
"So," she said, voice cool and composed, "you’re our new manager?"
Y/n nodded stiffly, offering a small wave that felt ridiculously out of place. "Uh, yeah. That’s me. Jung Y/n. Lovely to meet you all.”
Winter, who had been doing some light stretches, straightened up when she recognized Y/n. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she let out a small laugh. "Wait, Y/n?!"
Y/n tried to relax, giving Winter a sheepish smile and a peace sign. "Y-yo"
Winter’s easy laughter filled the room, lightening the mood, if only slightly. "Ya, idiot! Is this why you didn't say anything about your new job?."
"Yeah, well, I guess." Y/n shrugged. "How are you doing tho?"
"More happy now that I know that you're working with us!" Winter beamed. "This is really too funny kekekeke"
While Winter was dying in the background at the revelation, Karina’s sharp gaze hadn’t shifted. She looked Y/n up and down, her scepticism almost tangible. "No offense, but… how much experience do you have managing?"
Y/n inwardly winced but kept their face neutral. "Well, this is my first time officially managing, but I’ve trained with the company for years. I know how things work on both sides, so…"
Karina didn’t seem convinced. She didn’t say anything, but the silence spoke volumes. Ningning and Giselle exchanged glances, sensing the subtle tension in the room.
Giselle, always the bigger person, stepped in, trying to ease the awkwardness. "It’ll be fine, unnie. Y/n’s got this. I mean, he survived SM’s training system, right?"
Karina shrugged, finally breaking eye contact. "We’ll see."
-
Y/n’s phone buzzed for what felt like the thousandth time, and He resisted the urge to hurl it into the nearest trash can. "This cursed fing- I mean, object"
This is fine.
Everything is fine. Sure, his first official day as aespa’s manager had turned into a whirlwind of chaos, but Y/n had told himself he’d survive the day. It was all about staying calm.
Except, calm was nowhere to be found, and the more he tried to navigate their new responsibilities, the more everything spiralled out of control.
The morning had started deceptively smooth. He arrived at SM early, clipboard in hand, ready to tackle the day. A smile even broke out when he saw the group filing into the van, chirpy with coffee and morning energy. But, as soon as Y/n opened the daily schedule on their phone, his stomach sank.
Wrong rehearsal room.
The worst way to f*ck it up as well. Misread the number 7 for 1.
"Uh... okay, small problem," Y/n muttered to themselves before looking at the girls. "So, it turns out I booked the wrong practice room this morning."
Giselle, who was squished between Ningning and Winter in the van, looked up from her phone, raising an eyebrow. "Wait, you’re telling me we’re going to a room that doesn’t exist?"
Y/n winced. "No, it exists. It's just... not available.”
Ningning leaned forward with a smirk. "So what, we practice in the parking lot? That could be fun. Maybe film a TikTok."
"That's actually a fire idea" Y/n thought.
"Please don't give her ideas," Karina groaned from the front seat. She glanced at Y/n through the rearview mirror. "So... what’s the backup plan, manager-nim?"
Y/n felt the weight of the title more than ever in that moment. Being called "manager" was still weird, like wearing a jacket that didn’t quite fit. "Uh, we’ll use one of the smaller rooms for now, just for today. I’ll sort it out. Sorry about that, team."
"Just for today?" Giselle echoed with a teasing grin. "Good to know we’ve got a professional in charge."
Y/n sighed. This was going to be a long day.
By the time they arrived at the practice room, the energy had shifted. The smaller rehearsal space had a cozy feel, but "cozy" was just a nice way of saying cramped. The mirrors barely covered one wall, and the air-conditioning was struggling to keep up with the summer heat.
The girls, to their credit, didn’t complain much—well, except for Giselle, who Y/n could always count on for a sarcastic comment or two…and Karina who didn't need any words but Y/n knew he would be skinned alive after bed.
"Well, I guess we’re all gonna sweat out our souls in here," Giselle said as she dropped her bag onto the floor and stretched her arms above her head. "Thanks, Y/n. Really starting the day off right."
Winter shot Y/n a glance, her mouth twitching into a faint smile. "It’s fine, don’t worry. We’ve practiced in worse places."
Y/n appreciated the attempt at reassurance, but the guilt still gnawed at them. He was supposed to make things easier for aespa, not complicate their day with rookie mistakes. Even worse with him thinking his trainee days would help.
So much for better understanding of the girls.
As the group started their warm-ups, Y/n made a mental note to double-check all bookings going forward. He couldn’t afford to mess up again—not with Karina giving them those mildly skeptical looks every few minutes. It was like she was silently judging every move Y/n made.
"Great. Just what I need—her thinking I’m completely useless." Y/n sighed.
Things hit a new low when Y/n tried to connect their phone to the rehearsal room's speakers, but the Wi-Fi password wasn’t working. Panic started creeping up their spine as they stared at the screen.
Y/n wanted to hit his head into a wall right this instant.”
"Hey, Y/n, we’re ready for the playlist," Karina called out from across the room. "Are you good?"
"Yeah, uh... Just a sec." Y/n tapped the password again, slower this time, but it still didn’t connect. "What the—"
Giselle leaned against the wall, arms crossed, clearly enjoying the show. "Let me guess—you forgot the password? Or did you set it to ‘password123’ like a true professional?"
Y/n shot her a look, trying to hide the growing anxiety. "It’s the building Wi-Fi. I swear it’s not my fault."
"Sure, sure." Giselle’s grin widened. "No problem. We’ll just dance in silence. You know, like marionettes."
Winter chuckled softly, while Ningning chimed in. "Oooh, I love silent discos! We could start a trend."
While Y/n cracked a smile at Ningning's genius revelation once again, Karina sighed, crossing her arms. "Just use the Bluetooth on the portable speaker for now. We don’t have time to waste."
"Un-unnie" Winter whimpered, sensing that her leader began to get frustrated. "We don't need to rush, Y/n's just getting used to it."
"Jeong, it's ok." Y/n reassured. "Karina, good idea. I got the speaker just in case."
Y/n scrambled to connect his phone via Bluetooth, heart racing as the group exchanged amused glances. As much as he tried to take the ribbing in stride, Y/n couldn’t help but feel like every little mistake was another nail in their managerial coffin.
First the wrong room, now this…
Finally, the music blasted from the portable speaker, and Y/n sighed in relief. The girls began running through their choreography, their focus quickly shifting back to the dance routine. As the familiar beats filled the small room, Y/n retreated to the side, trying to steady their nerves with a big gulped.
By midday, Y/n was juggling three things at once: updating the afternoon’s schedule, figuring out lunch arrangements, and fielding a call from the media team about an upcoming interview. He was so deep in thought, he didn’t even notice Ningning creeping up behind them.
"Boo."
Y/n flinched, nearly dropping their phone. "Motherf- Yizhuo!"
She laughed, hands on her hips. "Relax, Y/n-oppa. You’re doing fine. We’re all still alive, and no one’s collapsed yet. I’d say that’s a win."
Y/n exhaled, rubbing their temples. "Yeah, barely."
"Hey, don’t be so hard on yourself. This job isn’t easy. Plus, we’ve all made mistakes. I mean, did you know I once went to a music show wearing mismatched shoes? Like, two completely different shoes."
Y/n blinked. "Huh, seriously?"
"Yep," Ningning grinned. "And no one noticed until halfway through the performance."
"Is there a fancam of it at least?"
"Oh, there are plenty of that for you."
Y/n couldn’t help but laugh, the tension easing just a little. "Okay, maybe that makes me feel slightly better."
"Good." She clapped Y/n on the back. "You’ll get the hang of it, oppa. Just remember—you’re not the only one winging it half the time. We are too."
Before Y/n could respond, Karina’s voice interrupted them from across the room. "Y/n! Can we confirm the interview time for this afternoon?"
Y/n checked the schedule on their phone, tapping quickly before calling back, "Yeah, it’s at 2:00. I’ll make sure we’re on time."
Karina nodded, her expression unreadable as she went back to the group, but Y/n caught the faintest flicker of something that might’ve been approval.
"Okay, maybe I haven’t totally screwed up yet." Y/n did a small dance in celebration.
As the morning stretched into afternoon, Y/n found himself slowly settling into the role. Sure, it was still overwhelming, and they felt like they were constantly playing catch-up, but Giselle’s light-hearted teasing and Winter’s quiet-not-so-quiet encouragement kept them going. Even Ningning, who couldn’t resist poking fun at Y/n’s blunders, made the chaos a little more bearable.
By the time the group wrapped up their rehearsals and headed to their interview, Y/n felt a small surge of relief. They had made it through the first half of the day without any major disasters. Maybe this whole manager thing wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
As they entered the interview room, Y/n stood near the back, watching as the girls took their places on the set. Cameras clicked, lights flashed, and the media team buzzed around them. Y/n checked their phone one more time, going over the rest of the day’s schedule. Double checking always works.
Karina, standing just off camera, glanced over at Y/n with a small, almost imperceptible nod. It wasn’t much, but it felt like a step in the right direction.
-
The clock on the wall ticked past midnight, and the hallway lights cast a soft glow over the exhausted aespa members as they stumbled into the dormitory. Their faces were flushed from the intensity of the day’s rehearsals, but there was a shared sense of relief in finally being off their feet. The practice room doors creaked open, revealing the calm haven of their living quarters.
Karina immediately went into her room to get changed.
Giselle frantically searched for a protein bar in their pantry.
Ningning plopped on the couch and groaned about the schedule.
And Winter noticed Y/n immediately headed to the kitchen. Already had a smile, she knew tonight will be a feast.
During his trainee days, the kitchen had become a sort of sanctuary for Y/n, a place where the clamour of the day’s chaos could be momentarily forgotten. Tonight, the giant pans of cheesy instant ramen unveiling the moment the lid opened was a beacon of comfort. The rich aroma of sauce and steaming noodles wafted through the air, promising a moment of respite.
Of course, it got the members' attention, and their tired eyes lit up at the sight of the pans of ramen. It was a welcoming sight, and their stomachs growled in unison.
Y/n’s presence in the kitchen, with his sleeves rolled up and a focused look on their face, was a stark contrast to the frenetic energy they had witnessed throughout the day.
“Y/n, you rock,” Giselle said, her voice filled with gratitude as she took a seat at the kitchen table. “I didn’t think I’d make it through the day without something like this.”
Ningning, always enthusiastic about food, followed suit and perched herself on a nearby stool. “Seriously, we owe you one. Our kitchen doesn’t usually get this kind of late-night love.”
Winter, the resident annoyance to her childhood friend, leaned against the counter and eyed Y/n with a playful smirk. “So, did you have this bougee ramen this much when you were a trainee too when I wasn't around? Or did you just eat instant noodles and subconsciously dream about becoming our manager?”
Y/n chuckled, stirring the noodles with practiced ease. “Oh, shush you. Buldak was basically my best friend during those days. It was either ramen or cereal for dinner.”
Karina, intrigued, raised an eyebrow. “Cereal for dinner? That’s a new one. What was your go-to flavor?”
“Plain old,” Y/n admitted with a grin. “It was the closest thing I could get to comfort food. Plus, it’s surprisingly filling when you’re too tired to care about anything else.”
Winter burst into laughter, nudging Y/n playfully. “I can just picture you in your trainee days, sitting in a tiny room, eating cereal straight from the box, dreaming about making it big. Did you ever think you’d end up here with us?”
"Hell no." Y/n’s expression softened, a nostalgic glint in their eyes. “Honestly, I had my doubts. It was a tough time, but moments like these make it all worth it. I’m just glad to be here with all of you.”
As the ramen finished cooking, Y/n ladled the pan into plates and handed them out. The group gathered around the table, their laughter and chatter filling the room. It wasn’t just about the food; it was about the camaraderie, the shared experiences, and the understanding that they were all in this together.
Giselle took a generous slurped and sighed contentedly. “This is exactly what we needed. I didn’t realize how much I missed simple yet fancy comforts like this.”
Ningning, already twirling noodles around her chopsticks, nodded in agreement. “Yeah, the practice room is great and all, but there’s something about a late-night cheesy ramen session that just makes everything feel right.”
Y/n took a quick slurp as well, and he banged the table in excitement. "That's how you live the life, man!"
Winter’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Anyway Y/n, give us some bed time story and let us hear your side of our trainee stories.”
"You don't tell them? Unless the early days wasn't unveil yet."
"Yep, and they can hear it directly from you."
Y/n laughed softly, shaking their head. “Oh, where to begin? Let’s just say my trainee days were filled with a lot of ramen, cereal, and endless hours of practice with this doof" He pointed at Winter. "There were days when I’d practice with Minjeong for so long that I’d fall asleep in the studio…. While my childhood friend here just left me and went home.”
While Ningning laughed at the last remark, Karina’s eyes widened in surprise, but regained her distance. “You’d fall asleep in the studio? That sounds rough.”
Y/n nodded, smiling at the memory. “Yeah, I’d be so exhausted that I’d just crash wherever I could. Sometimes, I’d wake up to find the other trainees laughing at me because I’d fallen asleep on the floor in some awkward position.”
Y/n sighed, thinking about those days "Also, I cooked for Jeong here like all the time. We’d spend hours in the practice room, and when the sessions were over, we’d retreat to the dorm’s kitchen. I was always the one cooking because this girl saw the recipe online and wanted me to make it.”
Winter chuckled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Ya, you're my eternal lab rat, Y/n. Remember that time you tried to cook a proper meal for us, and I ended up almost burning the place down?”
Y/n laughed, shaking their head. “Jeezus, don't even get me started. You were determined to help, but your idea of ‘helping’ involved a lot of questionable seasoning. It was a proper experiment gone wrong. I vomited all of that after I lost the rock-paper-scissors, and Minjeong laughed like a maniac."
Karina leaned in, clearly intrigued. It was the first time Karina took interested in the new manager today. “Wait, so Y/n was cooking for Winter all the time? What did you cook for her?"
Giselle nodded, her curiosity piqued. “Damn, girl, you got a private chef all this time?" She poked Minjeong's cheek, who was totally flustered at her statement.
Y/n smiled, lost in the memories. “Jeong and I had this routine. After a long day of training, we’d both be starving and exhausted. I’d take over the kitchen because I never trust her for….well, ever. She’d stand by, throwing whatever she found online while I tried to save whatever we had.”
Winter laughed, nodding in agreement. “Y/n was actually really good at cooking. He’d whip up something edible and often surprisingly delicious. I mostly just munch and tried not to set off the smoke alarm.”
Giselle’s eyes twinkled with amusement. “That sounds like something I’d do. Ya, remember when Ningning tried to make ramen on her own and ended up setting off the fire alarm?”
Ningning’s cheeks turned a shade of red, but she laughed along with the rest. “Hey, in my defence, I was trying to add some ‘extra’ ingredients. Let’s just say I got a little carried away with the chili flakes.”
Winter’s eyes widened in mock horror, slapping Y/n's back aggressively as she remembered something. “Oh, and Jimin-unnie's cooking experiment that ended up with the entire dorm smelling like burnt popcorn for days.”
Karina rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress a smile. “I was trying to make popcorn, okay? It was my first attempt at cooking.”
The group burst into laughter, their earlier exhaustion momentarily forgotten. Y/n joined in, their laughter blending with the sounds of the group’s mirth. The kitchen, usually a place for quick meals and late-night snacks, had become a space for shared stories and genuine connection.
As the conversation flowed, the stories grew more personal. Karina recounted her struggles with maintaining a rigorous training schedule while trying to stay connected with her family. Ningning shared her experiences of adapting to life in Korea and the culture shock she had felt when she first arrived. Giselle talked about the pressure of being one of the older trainees and the challenges of balancing expectations with her own ambitions.
Y/n listened intently, their heart swelling with appreciation for the group’s openness. The whole day was genuinely suffocating for Y/n and he glad his cooking opened up to them. It was a moment of vulnerability and camaraderie, a chance for everyone to connect on a deeper level.
Winter leaned back in her chair, her expression thoughtful. “You know, it’s crazy to think about how far we’ve all come. Sometimes, it feels like just yesterday we were all trainees, struggling to make it through each day.”
Ningning nodded, her eyes reflecting a mix of nostalgia and determination. “Yeah, but look at us now. We’ve made it through the tough times and come out stronger.”
"Well, you four did for a while." Y/n pointed. "I just started."
"Aish, you know what I'm saying" Ningning brushed it off.
As the last of the ramen was devoured and the plates were set aside, the group settled into a comfortable silence. The kitchen, once filled with the noise of preparation and conversation, now hummed with a quiet sense of contentment. It was a moment of peace, a pause in the whirlwind of their busy lives—a small, perfect slice of normalcy in their extraordinary world.
Winter, sensing the serene atmosphere, broke the silence with a softer tone. “Thanks for doing this, Manager. It really means a lot to us.”
Y/n stared. "Ya, you're just gonna tease me and call me manager after that heartfelt dinner?"
"I'm being serious, this guy.." Winter glared. "We know that the sudden career change is rough for you. But all things considered….you aced it."
Y/n smiled at the thumbs up from everyone, even including the hard-to-approach Karina.
As the night wore on, the group slowly began to disperse to their shared room, their energy restored by the comforting presence of good food and good company. Y/n watched them go, their heart full with a sense of fulfillment. This was what it was all about—connecting, sharing, and growing together.
With the kitchen finally quiet, Y/n began to clean up, their movements slow and deliberate. The pot was washed, the plates stacked neatly, and the remnants of the meal cleared away. The kitchen, now returned to its usual state of order, seemed to hold the echoes of laughter and conversation, a testament to the bond that had been strengthened over a simple late-night snack.
As Y/n finished tidying up, he glanced at the clock and realized it was nearly 2 a.m. The day had been long, but it had ended on a high note. With a contented sigh, Y/n turned off the lights and began to head out to go home.
However, as he was heading towards the front door, a hand tugged his sleep. It was Winter.
"Hey, are you ok?" Her voice was full of concern. While she didn't say much, she knew today was tough for Y/n, especially under the eyes of her leader.
"Yea, I'm ok. What's wrong?"
"I know that Jimin-unnie has been…rough on you…but please don't hate her too much" She held on Y/n's hand, clearly whimpering and shaking from her hand. "She was just looking out for us. Things were especially tough these days even with our old manager."
"Aish, cmon I'm not that petty." Y/n wiped her tears. "Normal person would've been angry with me already considering how many times I fcked up. So Karina was already being the nicest possible she can be."
"B-but I don't want you to feel down and leave again…"
Y/n swore his heart skipped a beat after that confession. "Aish, I'll never leave you like before, Minjeong. Trust me on this."
"Really?" Winter hiccuped.
"Yes, crybaby." That made Y/n earned a kick to the shin from Winter, who cackled afterwards hearing her nickname.

So, Mystra-
The more I think about her, the more I want to egg all of her statues, because I am honestly convinced that she's likely way more embroiled in Gale's fall from favour than she seems- and that she likely never cared for him in any meaningful sense.
This is gonna be long, gang.
Also I am 1000% up for screaming about Gale/forming an anti-Mystra union so y'know let's be pals
My thoughts are thus:
She has likely always known about his potential and capability of power. He was a child prodigy, after all- and she's a GODDESS. From the first time he truly used the weave, he was on her radar.
This also makes Gale's relationship with Elminster seem too convenient. As much potential as Gale demonstrates, it's also important to remember that Elminster is Mystra's chosen- and Mystra's chosen are often tasked with upholding and protecting balance in the weave. There are countless wizards that Elminster could mentor- so why Gale specifically?
The same is true of Gale's magical education. I've seen plenty of speculation about his possible potential as a sorcerer, and there's a lot of questions around the circumstances of him entering the Blackstaff Academy- as well as a confirmation of his power when he, a little baby trainee wizard, uses The Actual Blackstaff to cast a spell.
As an aside, Gale's little story about his misadventure with The Blackstaff is especially scary when taking into account that the staff is very devious, and it's primary purpose is to protect Waterdeep- although this is again speculation, I don't think the portal to limbo was just the spell going very, very wonky. I think the Staff, sensing Gale's ability and (through the very clear context clues of him using the fucking staff that you normally would need to attune to and that belongs to the top fancy wizard in waterdeep) his ambition, decided that he was clearly a potential threat that might be better off being quietly removed via Death Slaad.
We also know of at least one story of a young, powerful wizard who, y'know, led to the death of Mystryl and the loss of all magic- in part because he lacked the discipline that he should have learned at Wizard School.
So Gale comes along. Karsus 2.0- he's back, he's human and- most importantly- he's lonely.
How better to neutralise him as a threat than to make him loyal to her? Why would she cast aside a possible asset when she could use him?
The main problem with her plan is Gale himself. She can get him into wizard school. She can get Elminster to mentor him. She can make sure that Gale gets the best magical education, so hopefully he will be content and settle for being an archmage.
She can't, however, account for Gale's brain. Let's be honest, Gale is neurodivergent as fuck, and magic is his number one special interest. He was never going to be content to enjoy magic a "normal" amount, so no matter how many hours he may spend being taught about how great Mystra is and how the limits she sets are to be respected... he won't stop learning, growing more powerful, becoming more and more of a threat to her.
So how does she cement his loyalty? By getting personal. This is why him being isolated is important- it gives her an advantage. She can be number one without any effort. If he has an actual bond to her, not just the concept of her, then he won't be dangerous. Except, again, she's assuming that he'll be like so many other mortals and be so awed by her presence that he'll finally be satisfied. But he isn't.
Why the fuck would a goddess take someone so clearly, deeply intense about magic into her personal realm? Why would she show him all the power he would never be able to access?
Because, to her, he's just a mortal. There has to be a point in which he'll either be sated or he'll realise his limits and give up, because he's just an extremely powerful ant in comparison to her. Mystra has never considered getting to know Gale. If she had, she'd have realised that doing the grand tour of All The Magic You Can't Ever Do was a huge mistake. That making herself the focal point of his entire existence was an absolutely dogshit move.
Gale throws himself so hard into Being Mystra's Best Boy because he has nothing outside of magic other than his mother. He summoned his best friend, and he admits that he has colleagues and acquaintances, but nothing much else. He and Elminster clearly care for each other, but it's clear that Mystra's placed barriers between them- and even if they were able to be best buds and make friendship bracelets, together, they're at vastly different stages of life.
It's also likely that Mystra's interest in him led to his isolation. He has been marked as Special- the old gifted child problem where him being So Smart So Magic meant he bypassed the social side of things.
So of course he wants to prove himself, to impress her- his entire metric for his self-worth is Being A Wizard. He says he's bumped uglies with mortals before- but he doesn't mention anyone specifically. And, let's be frank, the man has a case of foot-in-mouth syndrome- if he had any meaningful romantic experience before Mystra, you know he'd have brought it up at least once. "Ah, autumncrocus- back in my apprentice days I picked a bunch for the object of my youthful affections. Unfortunately I hadn't realised they were allergic- but they certainly appreciated the gesture, if you catch my implication... Once they stopped sneezing, of course."
She becomes his whole world. He wants so desperately to be on her level, to be what he thinks she deserves- and yes, it was incredibly stupid of him. However, what the fuck was Mystra doing?
Throughout BG3, high approval Gale is actually incredibly receptive if you tell him not to persue power. Yes, his earlier mistakes may play into this, but I find it hard to believe that he'd be any less receptive to Mystra.
To quote- "I pouted. I pleaded. I swore my ambition was only to serve her better. But she only smiled and told me to be contented."
So, then, why did Mystra not actually engage with Gale on this?
Because she never cared about him.
She tried all the options she thought would work on a mortal, and when they were done she didn't consider trying anything else. She never knew him well enough to understand his motivations- he should have been satisfied with Magic Sex because surely any mortal would be. She couldn't even consider that his love wasn't just him liking the company and getting laid, that he'd still want to prove himself to her. To be worthy of the Mystra she'd let him believe in.
And when he fucked up- if she had helped him, even in a tiny way, then she'd have achieved her goal. Imagine if he'd come to her, agonised by the dark magic within him, and she'd been merciful. The way you would be, if you loved someone. If she had actually known Gale? She'd have done it.
But Mystra doesn't see it as an act of love gone wrong. To Mystra, it's proof that she can't control him, that his potential isn't worth whatever effort she'd need to put in.
She abandons him to die- expects him to go on a pilgramage into the wilderness and just go boom.
When he doesn't? She decides that, fine, she'll deal with it- by sending Elminster to tell Gale the good news! She'll "forgive" him if he detonates himself, honest! He trusts Elminster, Elminster's a father figure to him, he'll do what Elminster tells him. Except that's another example of her not understanding Gale in the slightest. Instead of hope, she's rubbing salt in his wounds- she's flexing her power and showing Gale that his bond with Elminster was always conditional on Mystra's approval, and that Elminster's loyalty lies with her.
No wonder Elminster sent a construct- it's the closest thing he can do that isn't abject refusal.
I am gonna stop rambling now but in conclusion:
Mystra, you absolutely suck. Get wrecked. I hope Bhaal shits in your pocket dimension.
#leiflitter rambles#mystra#gale of waterdeep#am i dwelling on this? absolutely#she's lucky gale goes there alone or els would absolutely bite her#baldurs gate gale#baldur's gate 3#baldur's gate theories#mystra bg3

Wrong Place, Wrong Time (pt. 3)
Takes place directly after this.
WARNINGS: BBU, power dynamics, talk of corrupt prison system, past noncon
The mug of tea that Ezra made for Jaime sits, cooling and untouched, on the coffee table. Jaime has opted for a spot on the rug, curled in on himself with his knees hugged tight to his chest. Sebastian and Ezra follow suit, of course, sinking down across from him, but it doesn’t escape anyone’s notice—his instinct to place himself on the floor. At least he isn’t kneeling anymore.
Sebastian aches at the sight of his red-rimmed eyes, at the hollowness in his voice, at the memory of him shaking and terrified on the hardwood, forever seared into his temporal lobe. He aches to make this right, and he prays, helplessly, that he hasn’t just watched every brick they’ve laid together crumble before their eyes.
“Would you like to ask us anything, Jaime?” Ezra begins, and Sebastian is once again grateful to have him here, ever the voice of reason.
Jaime’s swallow is loud enough to sound painful. “You don’t have to explain yourselves to me.”
He’s so closed off like this, even harder to read than usual. Is it resentment in his voice, or defeat? Sebastian doesn’t know how to reach him.
“I rather think we do,” Ezra counters.
Jaime looks quickly to Sebastian, then down at his knees. “I don’t know what to ask.”
“Okay,” Ezra accepts easily, and Sebastian chimes in with an encouraging nod. “Would it be alright if I asked you a question? With the caveat that you do not have to answer.”
“Okay,” he agrees without looking up.
“Has Julian—has Handler Hernandez—ever hurt you?”
Jaime’s eyes snap to him then, surprised. Ezra must spot the impending panic that Sebastian sees as well, because he raises a palm to clarify. “I know the rules against speaking about your training. I hope that you can still trust that we will never betray your confidence, but as I said, you don’t have to answer.”
“You…” Jaime begins, then falters. “But he’s your friend. Why would you believe me?”
Sebastian feels like he’s been shot in the chest.
“You are my friend, too,” Ezra says easily.
“Your word means everything to me, Jaime,” Sebastian adds. Those brown eyes turn on him, and maybe it’s just wishful thinking that they aren’t quite as guarded this time. “I will always believe you.”
Jaime stares at him. His gaze has never felt so heavy, as if he’s trying to see past the layers of Sebastian’s skin in search of the truth in his promise. Then, slowly, his eyes go unfocused.
The silence goes on long enough to worry Sebastian. A hundred different possibilities come to mind, spiking his blood pressure. The idea that Jaime is bracing himself to tell them that Julian is, in fact, one of the monsters in his nightmares makes Sebastian want to peel out of the house after him and put his hands around his throat. It doesn’t matter that Julian could probably break Sebastian in half on a good day. If Jaime even implies that Julian has been hiding behind his history with the resistance as a means of abusing trainees under the radar, Sebastian will fucking—
“He didn’t,” Jaime says quietly, pulling Sebastian back to earth. “I… He… He isn’t my primary. We didn’t interact all that often, but when we did…” He shakes his head. “He wasn’t one of the handlers who crossed a line.”
Handlers, plural.
He doesn’t even think that Jaime is aware of the word choice that has sent Sebastian spiraling all over again. Multiple handlers. Multiple handlers have “crossed a line” with Jaime in that facility, a few hundred feet away from where Sebastian works. It’s not… He can’t call it a surprise. He remembers clearly the day in the clinic showers, seeing fresh bruises on Jaime’s skin, marked in places that left no room for questions. And the day in the facility bathrooms, when Sebastian walked in just as a handler was walking out, leaving Jaime alone in a stall.
And, of course, he has had suspicions about Smith from the day he met him. Watching the way he interacts with his trainees is telling of what might happen behind closed doors. But hearing it out loud sits heavy in his chest. More than ever, he wants to burn that building to the ground with every handler locked inside.
“That’s… good,” Sebastian manages, even though it’s a disgraceful choice of word.
Ezra nods in agreement, though. “I didn’t expect that he would have, but I wanted to hear it from you,” he says. “I have known Julian Hernandez for a long time, Jaime. I understand how it looks to you right now, but he is a good man.”
“He is one of them.” Jaime looks to Ezra when he says it, a fire in his eyes he has never shown Sebastian, wouldn’t dare turn on the person who holds his contract (or someone he also considers one of them—did he mean handlers or anyone who works there? That’s a spiral for later).
“Yes,” Ezra says evenly. “Officially, he is. And if he wasn’t, I never would have escaped.”
A stunned silence falls over them. Sebastian didn’t know that, either.
Ezra reaches up to run a finger over the raised scar behind his ear, then looks from Sebastian to Jaime. “He helped remove the tracker himself,” he says. “Without him, we couldn’t have kept the removal undetected. It’s designed to be a bulletproof plan—it can’t be done without someone on the inside taking a risk. He never hesitated to help me.”
Jaime, mirroring him, raises a hand to touch the spot behind his ear where his own tracker is embedded in his skull. Sebastian’s stomach turns at the reminder, and he watches something like terror and wonder pass over his expression.
“His story is a complicated one,” Ezra says. “I would like to tell you about it, if you’d like to hear it.”
Jaime nods, and Sebastian leans in, just as eager to hear.
“Julian was in prison before I knew him,” Ezra begins. “He grew up in less than ideal circumstances and got wrapped into the wrong crowd. They got him into a lot of trouble when he was young, but it was all he knew. He was in and out of juvenile detention, and when he turned eighteen, he got a charge that stuck. He was sentenced to twenty years in prison.”
Sebastian thinks about the playful way Aria nudges her shoulder against Julian’s when they’re together at the table, the way Julian moves so carefully around Ezra, as if he knows his very presence could be a trigger. Sebastian has been wary of him from the beginning, but even still, it’s hard to picture him as a hardened criminal.
“This all happened right around when WRU was at its most precarious,” Ezra continues. “After the uprisings and public outrage against the Romantic sectors and the stories of extreme abuse coming to light. They were struggling to recover their image enough to stay afloat until the tides turned back in their favor, and they were specifically struggling to employ handlers. Nobody wanted to risk their reputation like that. They tried offering generous sign-on bonuses and increased salaries, but it still wasn’t enough to get them back where they needed to be.
“Someone had the idea to create a pipeline from the prisons—a program that would train inmates who showed particular strengths and promise to become handlers as part of a contracted term, as an alternative to serving their time. Julian was one of them.”
Ezra looks from Jaime to Sebastian, clocking their looks of mirrored surprise.
“I know that doesn’t make him clean,” he says. “It was a difficult situation, but it was still a choice that he made. For what it’s worth, he didn’t know much about the system at the time. And more to the point, he regretted it from day one. But backing out of the contract would have added ten years to his sentence. So he stayed.
“Aria met him within his first year. Really, she tracked him down. Pursued him. She had been searching for me for years. She knew I had disappeared into the system—that’s a story for another day. And she knew she needed someone on the inside to get me out. Julian was her way in. The way Aria tells it, he jumped at the chance. By then, he was eager for any way to make a bigger impact for the people suffering in that place.” He turns to Sebastian. “Reminds me of someone else I know.”
“Is that…?” They both turn at the sound of Jaime’s voice. He shrinks back a little at the attention, then clears his throat. “Sorry. Never mind.”
“What is it?” Sebastian says gently.
He opens his mouth, lips moving as he tries to form the words. He can’t look directly at Sebastian when he says, “Is that why you started working there? Because you wanted to help?”
(Okay, so it’s a spiral for right now).
Sebastian blinks. Behind his eyelids, he sees a flash of memory—nearly a year ago, lying on the floor of his apartment with a bottle of wine and an open laptop, looking at the job listing that would change his life forever—and he feels so pathetic.
He has this sick feeling that if he told Jaime that his reasons for applying were entirely selfless, only for the purposes of helping from the inside, he would believe him.
Sure, it was always his intention to help as much as he could once he was there, but he knows it would be a magnanimous lie to say it was anything but fear that led him to the WRU website that night. His grace period for loans was up and he was stuck without a job, completely alone in the world. Desperate was the word he would have used for that night. That was before he met people like Jaime, who taught him what real desperation looked like. How could he look him in the eye and say that now?
“I was never trying to be a hero,” he says finally. “I wish I could tell you something different. I guess…” He swallows. “I guess, like Julian, I always intended to help, but it started with a self-serving motivation. I can’t pretend otherwise.”
As the words leave his mouth, he feels so small. Now it is he who has to look down. Somewhere in the course of the past few months, Jaime has become the most important person in his life. He finds it impossible to face his judgment
“Thank you,” Jaime says, surprising him. “For being honest.”
Sebastian shakes his head, feeling a little nauseous. “Please,” he says. “Don’t… don’t thank me.”
“I…” Jaime looks at him, hesitating, then seeming to draw strength from the silent approval on his face. “I never knew what to make of it. Of you being in that place. Sometimes I still…” He shakes his head, closing his eyes. “When you come home, I can smell it on you. That place. And it… It’s hard.”
Guilt eats through his stomach lining, threatening to dissolve him entirely where he sits. I’m going to quit, the thought comes to his head without hesitation. I will quit tomorrow. Right now. I will email in my resignation, no two weeks, no notice. I will never violate Jaime’s home, his safe space, with that nightmare again.
But it’s not that simple, is it? Without his connection to that place, will he jeopardize his chances of renewing Jaime’s contract? Without another job lined up right away, will he be able to pay for it? And what happens to the dozens of other patients he will leave to Greer’s cruel hands?
This isn’t the kind of decision he can make in a split second of emotion. Not anymore.
From now on, though, he will shower before he leaves work. He will bring an extra pair of clothes and only leave them in the car to change. He can do that much at least.
“I’m so sorry,” Sebastian says.
“But you did help me,” Jaime says. “You do, I mean, presently. Obviously. I’m… I’m here. But back then, I mean. In the facility. You helped me so much.”
“It never felt like enough.”
“It was everything to me.” The intensity in his words draws Sebastian’s eyes back to his. “You kept me alive in that place. I’m glad you were there.”
It’s hard to take the words at face value when some part of him fears that Jaime is saying them out of some sense of obligation. But the worst thing he can do now is take any more agency away from Jaime by discounting anything he has to say.
Before he can respond, though, Jaime asks, “You really would have believed me? If I told you that Handler—that your friend had hurt me?”
That requires no hesitation on Sebastian’s part. “I would have killed him myself.”
Jaime stares at him for a few seconds, nods, then finally wraps his hands around the cup of tea on the coffee table. Surely it’s cooled to room temperature by now, but he looks content as he takes a sip.
“I’d like to say one more thing,” Ezra adds, gracefully ushering himself back into the conversation. “Jaime, nobody brought you here, into this circle, with explicit intentions of doing anything except making you comfortable and happy. Nobody is here to pressure you in any direction, especially with something as risky as this.” Ezra leans forward, fixing him with an earnest stare. “But you need to know that if you said the word, we would move mountains to get you out.”

trouble maker | wong yukhei
sfw (suggestive at the end, a curse word)
ship: lucas x male reader
desc: lucas and (name) hate each other for the stupidest of reasons. but as their debut showcase approaches, they realize they might have to work together.
warnings: angst
The tension between lucas and (name) was palpable as they sneakily eyed each other in the practice room, waiting their days for their turn to debut in the kpop industry. The two were set to take the world of music by a storm in their respective duos.
Their agency was committed to try out a new style of teams. With the globalization of kpop and gradually spreading acceptance for queer idols(thanks to icons like Holland), the officials deemed it fit to launch two different duos, all males, centering their primary concept on 'chemistry' or 'love'.
(name) and his teammate Mark, panted in their ending pose, backs touching each other's as the music finished playing. lucas and hendery were observing them with keen eyes, catching their breaths after finishing their round of rehearsals earlier.
hendery whistled, "that was amazing guys!", complimenting his labelmates as Mark and (name) offered tired smiles. the latter turned to smirk at lucas who looked annoyed at hendery's praise for their competitors.
"yeah, (name) can dance" lucas started, "..for a beanpole., he finished with a light snort, making the taller male sport an angered look.
"fuck off, shortie. at least i don't need a ladder to reach the top shelf" he retorted.
"that's an exaggeration. and at least i don't have a face that looks like a deer caught in headlights!"
"you-" the fiery exchange was interrupted as the door to the room opened, the common manager-to-be of both duos making an appearance, instantly making the 4 males stand up as the man never barges in during practice unless it is important.
"Guys." he began with a serious tone and a hint of restlessness in his tone. "we need to talk. there's been some..changes".
"Is this what I think it is?" Mark was the first one to inquire, indirectly voicing out each trainee's worst fear but the manager was quick to intercept.
"No, no. God, no. you boys are still debuting. you deserve it. but there are some..line-up changes. apparently, the company now feels it's a waste of potential variety to debut two duos in the same concept. "
the boys exchanged looks with each other. they'd been together for a while now, going through thick and thin as good friends. it'd be a shame to part ways so close to their debut, after promising to fulfill their dreams together.
"so we had a meeting and decided on one hip-hop duo, and the other to continue in the same theme. naturally, hendery and mark have been paired up together as they fit the rap concept more." he finished explaining the news.
soon after, the manager had left, leaving the boys reeling from the news. at least it was no new members and the 4 were only shuffled amongst themselves, they told each other.
days passed, and mark and hendery started spending more time in the studio instead of dance practices, working on their verses. having love for hip-hop since forever, the two seemed happy which reassured their friends.
lucas and (name), on the other hand, were having a hard time toleration one another. even though they were extremely professional, personal feelings kept aside as long as the song played but despite their undeniable talent and charisma, their constant bickering threatened to overshadow their potential success.
the dynamic between the two was anything but harmonious. they clashed over everything, from song choices to choreography to who should get more screen time in their debut music video. each disagreement only served to fuel their rivalry, pushing them further apart even as they were forced to work together for the sake of their debut.
One particularly heated argument erupted during a late-night rehearsal, when Lucas criticized (name)'s dance moves as sloppy and uncoordinated. "You move like a clumsy giraffe," he taunted, earning a scowl from the taller.
"Maybe I'd dance better if I didn't have to carry your dead weight on stage," he snapped back, his patience wearing thin. he stormed out of the room, both of them fuming.
they couldn't go on like this. no matter how good they perform on stage, if the dynamic behind the scenes was going to be this flaming, their stardom was destined to be short-lived.
But just as it seemed like their partnership was doomed to failure, a moment of unexpected vulnerability changed everything. after a late-night practice session, (name) accidentally let slip a personal insecurity that had been weighing heavily on his mind, causing lucas to pause in surprise from drinking water.
"I never asked to be taller than everyone else, you know?" he admitted, his usually confident facade crumbling in the face of his insecurity. "It's not easy standing out in a crowd for all the wrong reasons."
Lucas, who had always viewed (name) as an annoying trainee to be defeated, suddenly saw him in a different light. He realized that beneath the bravado and insults, there was a person with their own struggles and insecurities, just like himself.
In that moment of shared vulnerability, the walls between them crumbled, and a newfound understanding and respect blossomed. They put aside their petty disagreements and focused on their shared goal of creating something truly special together.
they had seen each other work their asses off for this and they decided to let the world know just that.
as the day of their debut finally arrived, Lucas and (name) took to the stage with a newfound sense of unity and purpose. the practice sessions leading up to the fateful day had a new emotion lingering in the dance room: admiration. which slowly seemed to blossom into newfound feelings. those of fondness and liking.
Their performance was nothing short of spectacular. their voices blended harmoniously, their dance moves synchronized effortlessly, and their stage presence was nothing short of electrifying. there was no denying the undeniable chemistry between them when they performed together. after their debut song, the suggestive moves in the duo's dance cover of the song 'troublemaker' had the audience gasping for air. they had prepared this one as a surprise to make a bold statement on their first day at work. they weren't to be taken lightly.
Cheers and applause resounded at the music bank set as Lucas and (name) took their final bow. And as they stood with foreheads resting against each other's, breathless and full of adrenaline, there was no trace of animosity between them, only a shared sense of accomplishment and by the tension, a budding romance.
Lucas turned to (name), a smirk on his face. "hey doe eyes, you ready for our next performance?" he asked, gesturing to the empty hall while taking off their microphones.
"bring in on, shortie" (name) winked in response, as he walked towards an empty room without looking back, gesturing for lucas to follow him using his index finger.
"let's see how much of a 'trouble maker' you can actually be, shall we?"

I feel like you should keep canon where the prophecy is revealed to the three early (you could have it like in canon where it's the SkyClan ancestors who reveal it because StarClan refuses), because I love how knowing about the prophecy affects the three's psychology and makes them so arrogant and megalomaniacal, I think it's a big part of Hollyleaf's motivation in particular.
@halogenwarrior
I do have a reason for this big change, though. Unfortunately it just does not suit what I’m going to do with Po3, and was one of the bigger changes I have to make
I think with Canon Po3 and OotS, they’re united with this impending sense of urgency which makes them feel like the same plot, poorly glued together. The early reveal of the prophecy in Po3 is what really does that-- because as we know, the prophecy doesn’t become relevant at all until... not even the end of Po3, but OotS.
So at first I thought the best way to fix that would be to just cut a ton of filler from Po3 and make the plot more focused. Set up the Dark Forest and their trainees much sooner, make more physical consequences of the veil weakening, have more uses of Jay’s and Lion’s powers--
But then I hit a snag, because Po3 DOES have a strength... and it’s how good it does work as episodic entries.
The way the clans are adjusting to their new home, the new relationship they have with the Tribe, the secret meetings in the tunnels, the RiverClan oil epidemic, the rising tensions with WindClan and ShadowClan, The BerryPoppyHoney situation, the daylight gathering... PLUS add in the things I’ve got for the rewrite-- Owlclaw’s status as Mudclaw’s son, the refurbishing of the Tribe, the ‘mysterious‘ death of Leopardstar, Sol’s magical games!
In fact, there’s a lot of things I realized I’d be cutting to just revamp it the way I initially wanted, and something that’s actually missing from the redux so far is breathing room.
And learning the prophecy so early adds a huge level of urgency, to all three of them. Urgency that would do exactly what it does in canon, where all of those conflicts feel like distractions.
TL;DR: The prophecy will conflict badly with Power of Three being made into a calmer, worldbuilding-focused arc.
The Three’s Motivations
And... I realized, I don’t really need the prophecy to make them all so arrogant. In fact, I think not having it so early leaves space to examine the other reasons why they feel special to begin with.
Lionblaze for example is a powerhouse from a young age, and feels like this makes him better than everyone else. Over the course of Po3 and especially in their dealings with the Tribe, he learns that a strong man fights for himself, but a stronger man fights for others (and this lesson backfires, as he believes that Ivy and Dove both need to put others above their own safety and happiness...)
Hollyleaf is the apprentice of the deputy of ThunderClan, Brackenfur, and the granddaughter of Firestar and the child of two members of the Sundrown Patrol. She engages in a ton of the politics of the Clans from a very young age and is an up-and-coming prodigy; examining Fire Alone’s strange relationship to the Code and dealing with the betrayals of her friends in other Clans. I think this will make up perfectly for the shock of not being part of a prophecy.
Jayfeather gets to explore training as a warrior and expanded bond with his grand-uncle Longtail, while being the one who knows there’s something special about him and his bond to StarClan. I think watching him literally fight StarClan, having no idea why they hate his guts and refuse to talk to him when he can “”SEE“” them standing there, will be more compelling than StarClan just... sort of being as lost as they are, where you can never tell if they’re incompetent or obtuse.
(in fact wouldn’t it be fun if he fights, literally physically FIGHTS a StarClan warrior when they come down to take Poppyfrost and/or Hazeltail?)
Sooo, it was a big change, but I’m confident that this is a change for the better. Po3 deserves to be an arc on its own, not just the slow prequel to OotS.
Are the Three going to have actual feelings about Brambleclaw and the way he treats them after the reveal in your Redux?
GOD yes. They all also have very different emotions about it.
Events are also heavily shuffled, so Bramble is already Star by the time the lie is revealed. He demotes Squilf as deputy, appointing someone else in her stead.
ThunderClan as a whole is actually SUPER politically divided on this issue-- the Queen’s Rights has created a culture where Squilf wouldn't have been socially required to disclose a father.
Lionblaze is in a lot of pain and feels like his whole life has been upended, but quickly becomes a hard supporter of Squilf. He comes to see her as his ONLY parent in response to how Bramble basically disowns them both.
His first litter is born around this time, too, Dovekit and Ivykit. The emotional turmoil he's in and the loss of his support system makes him a terrible father to them-- something he desperately wants to atone for post-OotS and with his second litter.
Jayfeather is... mixed. I think he WANTS to be rational about it, "Brambleclaw is right to be upset. Squirrelflight didn't have to reveal the secret. Our childhood was peaceful because of this." But he's BOILING deep down.
After all, he's been the only one grappling with the prophecy at this point in this redux. StarClan does NOT share the Kin Of Your Kin prophecy willingly; Jayfeather had to rip it out of their paws, sometime towards the end of Po3. "OH so I could have known why God fucking hates me?? All along??? And both of the people I thought were my parents are assholes? And im RELATED TO BREEZEPELT?"
Hollyleaf, lastly... well, this is the point where we enter some heavy WIP territory
But she McFreaking loses it. She's lost her mentor Brackenfur who she idolized, her grandpa Firestar who she adored, she was always espousing the value of the code, she killed a man to hide the secret but buckled under the weight of keeping it hidden
The Queen’s Rights have a contradiction, of sorts. A queen does not have to reveal the sire, but what if they HAVE been disloyal? The law says that the disloyalty must be judged by StarClan; but obviously the code must be enforced in clans. Hollyleaf is living in that painful space.
If a medicine cat could avoid punishment with this law, then she thinks that the law is wrong. And if this one's wrong, what else has she been wrong on? For her the Code is falling apart.
I know she needs to do more harm to the Clans themselves somehow, before she vanishes into the tunnels. ALSO; Sol has to be a part of it.
And when she vanishes into the tunnels, it's actually Sol whisking her away... 100 years into the past. ALL of the time travel stuff is being removed from Jayfeather. Hollyleaf has no reincarnation because SHE was actually there, and ends up opposing Jay's Wing, Lion's Roar, and Dove's Wing.
After her defeat (still fuzzy on the details of this story; I'm tentatively calling it Hollyleaf's Century) she goes to the tunnels as a ghost, and waits for her family to return. She IS Fallen Leaves, forgetting her own name after all that time spent alone, only knowing she's waiting for someone.
Sooo TL;DR yes they have a Lot of Feelings about Brambleclaw and the reveal different from canon
#I hope that makes sense#I put a lot of thought into this change though#I promise I did not do it lightly#Plus!! Plus!! I want to establish the Sisters and Guardians in the background here somewhere as well#There's actually going to be a lot going on already#Bonefall Po3#Bonefall Rewrite#Hollyleaf#Lionblaze#Jayfeather#Finding out the prophecy is really the place where Bonefall Po3 ends thematically and Bonefall OotS begins#Though I'm planning for Hollyleaf's disappearence to be the exact cutoff moment#As it gets serious the fun and lighthearted nature of Po3 comes to a crushing conclusion#And little things that I plan to establish as background elements in Po3 become primary Dark Forest trainee motivations in OotS#Like Minnow and Mouse's secret relationship#Icewing discovering that Mistystar killed Leopardstar#The Shinewater Plague and how Minnow 'killed' Tumble#Applefur's resentment of Marshwing#So on#Brackenfur and Firestar are also murdered towards the end of Po3/beginning of OotS#A lot happens very quickly

Hey, this might seem like kind of a weird question, but what do the primary bases of both the space riders and the prototype cult actually LOOK like? What sorts of aesthetics do they have, and why? What functions do they serve, if any? And how does this change between different areas? (Eg between residential areas and mission areas in space rider HQ, or the living spaces for the higher ups of the prototype cult vs for the grunts)
It’s been a question on my mind for a bit now, especially now that the au brainrot is back, and I was wondering what insights you might have.
Thanks for your time!
So i did cover how the Space Riders base look like (Episode 2 tag), its essentially a giant ass floating space station that is the size of a city, and it has everything from apartments for those living in the station, we have two space riders' academies (Olympus and Elysium, will cover them someday) where trainees are trained to become space riders, and many more stuff.
As for the cult, i havent really thought about it (i keep forgetting to) but if i had to think about it, their "main" base is The Prototype's planet, cultists, specially the higher ups, never stay in one place for too long, constantly on the move. Usually its the pawns that stay on the planets they conquer

The Trainee Ep 3 Stray Thoughts
Last week, we learned that Jane is curt because he's the primary person trying to solve difficult scheduling issues inflicted upon them by management that can't say no to clients. Ryan considered quitting for the entire episode, but was eventually shored up by Jane praising him for finding an extra, and then not berating him for getting scammed. After solving the problems of the day, Jane pointed out that Ryan is a good supporter. I am feeling less keen on Pie for throwing Ryan under the bus.
This is a fairly reasonable nightmare to have.
Damn, and Ryan was trying to get back to it. This is the beginning of a no good very bad day.
Ep 3: The Grown Up Battlefield
Wow, our first BL moment, and it's on Jane teaching Ryan something.
Damn, Ryan, failed step one. Don't let the extras roam around.
Ryan, come on. You can't figure out how to silence or turn off your phone?
I can feel Pie building to cause problems again.
Big fan of Jane telling off that extra for disrespecting the work and Ryan.
Oh, Pie, you gotta work on bonding with your crew.
Bah Mee also needed to be told off.
Pie wtf. Managing the extras is not your job. Why would you tell her she could leave?
Mhmm. There it is. I see you being silent, Pie.
Excellent work, Ryan.
I feel a little bad for Pie. Dealing with strong personalities in stressful situations is a skill you have to develop.
Wow, I love Jane so much. He knows who fucked up and still shielded them from the client's ire because he knows it'll change nothing.
Jane is so valid about taking licks so that others can go home.
Was not expecting a Saving Private Ryan (1998) reference in my BL today.
I like ending on Ryan listening to his sister complain. He did the same earlier when he listened to Pie.
I really love this show. I like that we're following a series of projects, and I like going from the blow up last week on setting up the shoot to the drama of completing the shoot. Looks like we'll see with post production issues next week. I continue to be impressed with the way Jane conducts himself. He recognized how inexperienced Ryan is and is slowing down a little and supporting him in his own way. I'm excited about next week.

THE LONG WAY HOME | One
<- Previous
Hi, hello, it's been. A very long time. Well over a year, I think? I finally have the second part! I'm so sorry it took me so long, life and full time university have been kicking my ass. I haven't done writing in a long time, so it felt stiff and hard to get through, and only half of it is actual whump, but the rest sets up the story. I really missed writing it, though. I hope you enjoy!
CW: BBU/BBU Adjacent, pet whump, pet training, collaring.
1: Nine Hundred and Thirty-Three
After:
"Get on your knees.”
"What? No, please, I don't -"
"Knees."
He drops to the floor to avoid the baton that this man keeps touching the handle of, looking up at him from below with his hands in his lap, fingers twisting into the shitty thin fabric of his shirt. Maybe it will rip. He doesn't want it to. It's the same one he walked in with, and he's getting the feeling that he won't get it back again if it breaks. He digs his fingers in tighter, anyway, unwillingly.
"I need to - please," he tries again. He needs to go home. His voice is hoarse, rough from the night of pleading with the empty room, tucked into a corner, fighting waves of exhaustion with terror, trying and failing to keep his eyes open. He'd scrambled to his feet when the door opened, desperate for someone to talk to, to reason with, to see that he wasn't supposed to be here -
And now he's on the floor again.
He swallows, mouth dry. "This was a mistake."
The handler ignores him, looking over him like he's assessing him for something, then sighs, mostly to himself. "Okay. So, Domestic."
"I'm not meant to be anything-"
"You don’t need to speak unless you’re spoken to."
“Please,” he whispers, but the look the handler shoots him is enough to make him close his mouth. Something flashes, in the back of his mind. A hand through the air, a stinging across the side of his face. He flinches, but the handler hasn’t moved. Every part of him is screaming that he’s done something wrong, that he needs to hide away and wait until it dies down, until it’s safe again - but there isn’t anywhere to hide here. Just white walls and a heavy door. God, he hasn’t felt like this in years. It’s hard to breathe. Like a hand around his throat.
The handler lets a moment pass, and then two, and when he’s been sitting quietly for long enough, he speaks again. “My name is Handler Phillips, I’ll be your primary Handler for the duration of your training. You are WRU Trainee 297933.”
“I’m not.” It’s whispered, terrified, but he can’t just… give up. There has to be someone who will hear him out. There has to be some way to go home. “My name is-”
“You don’t have a name, you have an identification number.” The handler sighs, and crouches down so they’re face to face. “Look. I don’t want to do this the hard way, and I don’t think you do, either. You’re gonna have to work with me.”
“I’m not meant to be here.”
"We're just doing intake today, alright? Do you know what that means?"
"I want to go home." He doesn't want to do intake, he wants to go back to where he lives and curl up in his bed and never take another stupid fucking bet in his life. He's supposed to be walking back through the door and gloating about his victory right about now. Yesterday. The day before? How long has he been here? "Let me go home."
"I can't do that, mate. I have a job to do, and so do you." The Handler stands and unhooks something from his belt. "This is a collar. It will be yours. It's fitted with…"
The Handler's voice fades into the background behind the ringing of his ears and the bile that rises in his throat. A collar. Fuck, no. Fuck that.
"No," he interrupts. "No. No. You're not putting that on me. Let me go. I need to go home.”
Handler Phillips sighs again. “297933,” he says.
“That’s not my name.”
“It’s your WRU identification number. The collar is mandatory; it’s part of your training.”
“No.” The handler’s fingers touch, briefly, the handle of the baton. He draws back into himself, swallowing thickly, eyes on the floor. “Sorry,” he says quickly. The words taste sour. “I’m sorry.”
Another sigh from above him.
“You’re okay. I’m not going to hurt you.” The handler hesitates, like he isn’t meant to continue. “I know this is scary. Take a breath.”
He draws in a breath that burns the whole way down.
“Think you can sit still enough to let me put this on you?”
“I don’t want to,” he whispers.
It happens anyway. The fight just… leaves him. He sits and trembles on the floor while Phillips slides the thick collar around his throat and clips it into place with gentle hands.
*
Before:
They’re all at Nell’s house.
They’re always all at Nell’s house, because she’s the only one of them with dogs, and with a couch, and with more than one shitty, battered Wii controller like Benny has. Nell only has two, but that’s double Benny’s, and the rest of them have none, so Nell’s place is the place to be.
They’re playing Mario Kart while they wait for Benny. Rhys is sandwiched between Luca and the arm of the couch, and one of the dogs has its head resting on his foot, and he can’t even move, because it’s Luca, and he’s got his legs slung over Rhys’s lap and his head pillowed on his shoulder.
Luca jerks his arm, swerves, and runs his Yoshi off the side of the track right as Matteo wins the race. Rhys jabs him in the side. “My go.”
“What – that doesn’t count!”
“In what world does that not count?” Rhys already knows he’s going to lose the argument, but he entertains it anyway. He rarely actually plays Mario with the group, even though they say they’ll swap controllers after every race. Matteo’s already clicked his controller into the wheel attachment and handed it to Owen. Rhys usually hands off his turn to Luca and watches as he comes dead last every single time.
Luca’s opening his mouth to start the usual ‘I’m going to get it next time’ spiel when Benny waltzes in through the front door with his arms full of Nell’s mail.
Rhys raises an eyebrow at him. “You know that’s illegal, right?”
Benny, mouth full of – something, what the fuck is he eating this time? – says, “Huh?”
“Opening someone else’s mail.”
Benny rolls his eyes and dumps the pile of envelopes – bar one – on Luca and Rhy’s laps. “Helenaaaa.”
Nell’s voice comes back from the kitchen, instantly dry, wary. “What do you want from me?”
“I have something for you.”
“I swear, if you’ve been going through my mail again - ”
Benny darts off, cackling like an idiot, and Nell – also like an idiot – chases after him. Rhys shoves the pile of mail off his lap, and it clatters to the floor, all over the dog.
“… Sorry, Benedict.”
“You’re so mean to her,” Owen says from the other side of the couch. “Come here, baby.”
Benedict heaves all god-knows-how-much of her entire great dane self off the floor and meanders over to Owen. He’s already got Chef curled up with his head shoved under his rollator, and Benedict slumps at his feet and goes back to sleep.
“Thief,” Rhys says. “You’re a dog thief.”
“You dropped mail on her head!”
“Weird mail,” Luca muttered, leaning down to snatch an envelope off the floor. “The hell is this?”
It’s a thick white envelope, decorated in gold trim, a wax seal on the back – and it’s snatched from Luca’s hand as soon as Benny swans his way back into the room.
“Whatcha got there, Luca?”
Luca snorts. “Ask Nell, it’s hers.”
Benny does not ask Nell. He never does, but Nell hates opening her own mail, so she shoots Rhys an exasperated look and slumps down on the couch with Matteo.
“We seem to have abandoned Mario,” Matteo muses as Benny tears open the envelope. He doesn’t even try to remove the seal. Absolute animal.
“Dear resident, we hope this letter finds you well,” Benny reads, pacing in front of them like some grandiose loser. Rhys considers tripping him. “We have recently started a movement to bring clinics to smaller cities, and we’re searching for partici- oh my god, this is that – Pet shit, right?”
Nell makes a face. “Yeah, they’re building some new complex for it, or something, right? I read the first one, some initiative to ‘bring business and economy flow into rural areas’ or whatever.”
“We’re not even rural,” says Matteo.
“I know. God, I thought I unsubscribed from their mailing list. Just tear it up, Benny.”
But Benny’s eyes have gone wide. “Holy shit, have you seen how much money they offer you?”
Rhys snatches it from Benny’s grip. Holy shit was right. The number is in the high ten thousands – more money than any of them have seen in one place in their lives.
“I want it,” says Benny. It’s always Benny who starts this shit. Rhys can practically feel his brain turning.
Luca laughs. “You want to be someone’s house pet, Benny?”
A grin, a shrug. Benny’s never been the type to admit that he’s wrong. “Why not? Cozy up on the couch, no job, no bills.”
“Dumbasses,” says Nell, taking the envelope off Rhys and ripping it in half.
“You can’t tell me you don’t want that kind of money, Nell.”
“What am I gonna do with the money if I’m signing up to their program, Benjamin?”
There’s a lull. It should be the end of it. It should. But Benny is Benny is Benny, and Benny doesn’t know when to stop.
“... I reckon I could get the money, anyway.”
“You’re a coward,” Rhys says, because he’s just as bad as Benny, “and a liar.”
Luca jabs him in the side.
Benny’s eyes narrow, and he squares his shoulders like he always does when he thinks that he’s been challenged.
“Wanna bet?”

i was thinking of doing a tingyun x reader maybe soooo maybe thats next
── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────
The rhythmic tapping of the feet, the squeak of a sole of the shoe against the dance floor, the quiet sounds of panting and gasping, eventually overtaken by silence as Robin drops to her knees. The cold wood against her knees, fan barely keeping her from overheating as she wipes the sweat off her forehead. Each move she practices feels wrong, slightly off. And she can't have that if she wants to audition next month for the company that's now opening up for new trainees. Her body feels right, yet the mirror shows her moves constrained and held back, stiff and rocky.
"Fuck!"
The sound of a fist hitting against the planks echoes through the dance studio, tears of frustration welling up in her eyes as she takes a shaky breath to calm herself down.
"Robin?"
The unfamiliar voice has her looking up quickly, quickly brushing away the once falling tears as she takes in the person who stands at the door.
"Topaz?"
The student council member just blinks.
"I- I haven't seen you since like, primary school. I heard you moved back." Topaz clears her throat "Can I come in?"
Robin nods, and Topaz opens the door to enter the somewhat stuffy dance studio. She takes in the sight of Robin, eyes red and knees bruised, kneeling on the ground in a sweat-drenched shirt and she sighs- unable to stop herself from worrying.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes."
The response came too quickly to her liking.
"Really?"
Robin nods again and Topaz doesn't press the matter any further.
"Student council, huh?"
"Same as it was when I was in primary."
"Except more responsibilities now, I assume."
Topaz lets out a chuckle that sounds slightly forced. Robin just watches from the ground as Topaz moves to open a window, a gust of wind and the slight ventilation had Robin releasing a breath she didn't realise she was holding in.
"Why are you still here? It's late." Topaz raises an eyebrow "Way past 6pm. Only school registered clubs are allowed to stay."
Robin clenches her jaw, looking away to stare at the wooden planks beneath her. Topaz doesn't sound like she wants to get Robin into trouble, more so worried. And the worry pisses Robin off for reasons she can't quite explain. But she can't show that.
"I'm sorry."
"No, it's fine. You haven't been here in a long time anyways." Topaz offers out a hand "Come on, let's go."
The hand stays held out for a bit, until Robin finally takes it. Topaz helps Robin up to her feet, who at this point can't even stand without feeling like her ankles are about to crumble into dust and her arms might just fall out of their sockets. So she stumbles slightly, Topaz quickly steadying her with a concerned look in her eyes and something else. Something Robin despises.
Pity.
"Are you okay?"
Robin nods, shooting her usual charming smile as she stands up straight, ignoring the jolt of pain up her back and hiding a wince behind a smile.
"All good."
The humid summer fades into a cool autumn breeze now, and walking in this weather is significantly nicer than walking in what feels like a never-ending sauna. She zips up the windbreaker, stuffing her hands into her pockets as she walks down the same path. The same path that would let her pass by the soccer field where the archery club would practice on Wednesdays but always made an exception for their golden star. Their child prodigy.
You.
She watches from afar as each arrow nails a target so small she can barely see the score. She watches you hit score after score that a normal person would find impressive but you frown at with a look of growing frustration. She loses time watching you shoot from afar, just standing there, unable to move.
The day your mother came to pick you up, she remembers distinctly watching the entire conversation unfold. The archery club whispered behind your back and she had to physically fight the urge to throw something at them.
What hurt her most was seeing you cry. The last time you cried, in her memory, was when you were six. You broke a gift Robin had given you and broke down to her about it, sobbing and begging for her forgiveness and Robin just remembers laughing. She remembers telling you it's okay and that it's just a gift but you still insisted that it was more than just that.
You were six.
Robin doesn't want to think about how many times you might've cried over her, over losing her for a reason you never figured out. The guilt still eats her alive- and it's only worsened after getting here. She wanted to avoid you, but you can't really avoid anyone in a small town where everyone knows everything about each other, like who failed their job interview, whose son got into university, whose company went bankrupt and had to move back to a country they long left behind. There was no avoiding you, which meant each day was confrontation with the reality of what she had done and who she had lost from her own immaturity.
So lost in her thoughts, she doesn't realise that you had stopped shooting. You had put your bow down, sitting on the ground with your knees pulled to your chest and head buried in your arms. You look so vulnerable in the moment, like a strayed dog who had come to terms with the fact that it would never find comfort. She wants to talk to you, she wants to approach you and ask you if you're okay but based on your last reaction- perhaps it wasn't the best idea.
So she walks away, forcing herself to move one foot at a time away from you. She walks, the image of you sitting alone on the field burned in her mind now.
How alone could one be?
"Robin! How have you been?"
She finds herself, once again, at the door of the convenience store your mom ran.
"Hello, Ms. Yukong." She bows slightly "I've been well."
"Adjusting alright?"
"Yep."
She shoots your mom a smile as she walks down the candy aisle, looking for a specific sweet in mind. Her eyes soften when she finally spots it, the Dream Candy. It was stocked up high, and she smiles at the thought that your mother had purposefully gotten more in stock in case you wanted to eat them. A sweet gesture, and she wonders if you've ever noticed it.
"Dream Candy?" Yukong smiles as Robin approaches the counter "I didn't realise you still liked these."
"I haven't had them since I left." She says quietly as she slides a bill across the counter. Yukong hums, quickly giving Robin some change.
"It's Y/n's favourite too, you know?"
I know.
"Really?"
"She loved them as a kid, same with puffergoat milk. You might've forgotten by now."
I didn't.
"Most likely." She laughs "We haven't spoken in a couple years."
She leaves the store with a feeling of emptiness she hasn't felt in a long time. A small packet of assorted sweets in one hand, steamed puffergoat milk in the other, she makes her way up to the same rooftop she ran into you two months ago- the same rooftop she had been too afraid to go back to in fear of seeing you.
The walk was an odd one, essentially going back up the path to school except she takes a left turn at a certain house and up a sketchy looking set of stairs before continuing down the path. Eventually, she will reach an old abandoned building with a large 'NO TRESAPSSING' sign that she has willingly decided to ignore. Pass the gates, through the door. It's dark now, all she has illuminating her are the streetlights and a flashlight keychain she has.
The view at the building is not anything breath taking. It's a cloudy night and even the moon has decided to avoid her, for better or for worse. She moves to sit at the edge of the building, feet dangling over with the threat of falling looming over her. It's this threat that makes her want to sit here, as a form of punishment of sorts. She twists open the cap, taking a small swig of the drink before letting out a soft sigh. It's not often she likes to be alone with her thoughts yet recently she has found herself unable to process anything- as if she was overloading. She wants to focus on her dancing but all she can think about is the expression on your face when she tried to talk to you. She wants to focus on the audition soon but all she can think about is the way you turn around to walk the other way if you ever see her walking towards your direction.
It hurts, but it's deserved. Perhaps this pain she feels is only half, a quarter, a tenth of whatever pain you felt when she decided to stop talking to you.
By the time she finishes the entire drink, it was completely dark out. The silence surrounding her should have freaked her out at least a little but she can't help but find it calming, she can't help but like the silence.
She looks down at the bag of sweets in her hand.
Maybe, just maybe.
"So I was telling her like, I can't keep doing this. I'm exhausted, I have barely any time to study and she still expects me to somehow maintain sixteen hours of archery a week alongside maintaining top grades."
You can't stop yourself from completely going off on Stelle. It was a dam long waiting to be broken and when she asked if you were okay it just broke. The two of you were walking to your locker to pick up your archery bag for practice, Stelle choosing to accompany you as she had nothing to do and she made the unfortunate choice to ask how you were doing.
"Talking to her is going to be useless, I'm not sure what else you can do."
You groan in frustration, leaning your head against the locker door as you've arrived.
"There is nothing I can do anyways, fucking hell." You grumble as you throw open the locker door.
You blink.
You did not remember buying a pack of your favourite candies.
"What-"
You pick up the pack, peeling off the sticky note on top. The handwriting was unrecognisable, no one you talked to aside from Dan Heng had handwriting this neat.
But this was not Dan Heng's handwriting.
Take care of yourself! It'll be okay :)
"What is that?"
You feel your heart beat just a bit faster as you reread the note, Stelle peeking over your shoulder.
"Secret admirer?" Stelle's eyes widened, and you can't stop the silly grin from forming on your face as you fold the note up and pocketed it. It feels ridiculous, you feel ridiculous. "Let me see the note!"
"No!"
"I wanna see if I can figure out the handwriting, come on!"
"Shut up-" You lightly pushed Stelle away, a fluttering feeling in your chest. The person behind the note didn't matter, but the fact that someone was looking out for you made you feel warm in ways you hadn't felt in a long time. Stelle rests her chin on your shoulder, standing behind you as she pouts and you feel your heart beating faster again.
"Come on, let me read it!"
"Oh, fuck off."
You look inside your locker for your other things before taking out the archery bag, Stelle stepping back as you heave the back onto your shoulder.
"How do you lug this thing around every day?"
"Honestly? I have no idea."
She follows you like a stray puppy, but all that you could focus on is the fact that she is next to you.
Nobody tells you how hard it would be to perform well when your crush / best friend has her eyes on you the entire time. She watches you like she's learning from you, eyes tracing your every move as you lift the bow up, drawing back, and firing.
"Don't keep staring at me, it's pressuring me."
"But you look cool."
You have to fight every fibre in your being to stop yourself from smiling.
"Shut up."
You fire again.
"9." Stelle announces through the binoculars
"Fuck."
"How is that bad?" Stelle's eyes widened "You are shooting at a target I can barely even see!"
You shake your head.
"Not good enough according to my mom." You sigh as you sit down next to her on the grass, pulling out the pack of sweets and opening it. Stelle grins, wiggling her eyebrows in a way that makes her look absolutely ridiculous.
"Soooo, can I see the note?"
"No." You hand her the pack as you chew on the gummy "It's fine. They'll probably reveal themselves at some point or another."
"You have to tell me who it is. I wanna guess it's... ooh, maybe it's Tingyun from business?"
"Tingyun? I've barely spoken to her."
"But she's always looking at you."
You roll your eyes.
Again, it really doesn't matter whoever it is. Because the person you wanted most is sitting right next to you, barely even realising you're looking at her with the softest gaze as she rambles on about why she thinks it's Tingyun (it most definitely is not, and you are willing to bet on that).
"I'm surprised they got my favourite candy right." You mumble as you toss one up into the air, catching it with your mouth. Stelle does the same, copying you except she doesn't actually catch it and just wasted one of your precious sweets- sacrificing it to the ants on the field.
"You eat that shit all the time in class, anyone could've guessed." Stelle takes another one from you gratefully
"Whatever."
It's rare for Stelle to stay after school, she normally works part time jobs but every time she does get to stay she spends it with you. And you're grateful that she has the time to spend with you today. There's nobody else you'd rather be sharing sweets with as you watch the sunset together.
As Robin walks down the same path, she notices the smile on your face from afar. It's bright, and it's warm. You look happy, and that's all that she can really care about for now- even if it hurts to see you smiling like that with someone else.

Harry and Ginny head-canons <3
Some light hearted ones:)
(Did i type this out while ao3 was down? YES)
Harry for sure sneaked in to Hogwarts under the invisibility cloak to see Ginny during the day (Imagine him in auror robes and her in the quidditch uniform!!!)
Harry befreinds a stray cat during one of his first missions, and gives it to Ginny during their first Christmas so that she can take it back to Hogwarts. The cat stays with them until James starts school. (Along with many other cats of course)
Ginny was recruited as a trainee for Harpies after her second match during the last year, where she managed to break a scoring record of 11 years. She trained while in school, going back and forth from Hogwarts to Holyhead, a few days a week.
Harry loved his job minus the paperwork. He was quite good at it and succeeded to make many new friends out of his coworkers.
Harry and Ginny always held hands. Like always. Some physical touch was a must if they are staying close together. And she had a habit of leaning her head on his shoulder whenever as well, cause it was MADE for their height difference.
They went on a lot of roadtrips after Harry bought a vintage car that was on sale. He taught Ginny to drive and she got her license at 19. Somehow she became a better driver than him by the end. They used the car to go on muggle trips and to drop the kids at muggle primary schools.
They had a very small wedding at the burrow garden. Very private and surrounded by close friends and family only. They later registers in the muggle way as well, alone at a small church.
Ginny would throw a fit whenever Harry decides to shave his beard but always ends up liking it.
She gets a lot of hand and shoulder cramps due to her physically demanding profession as a chaser. So Harry helps her around with whatever she needs, specially during the quidditch season. He loves coddling her even though she acts as if she hates it.
He ends up in St Mungos quite often as well. And every time, Ginny would scoop up with him in the bed side by side. This became a habit after the children as well, where she would extend the bed so that they can hop in together with him (without disturbing of course)
Want more head canons? Lmk:)

🎬 TRAINEE PERIOD & LIFE IN KOREA !
around 2016, at the age of 12, eunhee was scouted by SM Entertainment while attending middle school. following this, she auditioned and was selected to join as an SM trainee. by 2018, nearing the age of 14, eunhee was on the verge of quitting. she spent months pleading with the company about her debut, feeling desperate for the opportunity. however, upon learning that her debut was scheduled for 2020, she left SM due to concerns about her mental health and impatience regarding her debut. approximately 4-5 months later, eunhee negotiated a return to the idol entertainment industry, seeking a company better suited to her needs. within two weeks, she was scouted by BE-LIFT Entertainment, who promised her a debut within a year and a few months. upon accepting their offer, she embarked on her idol journey under her new company. as one of the top trainees in the company, she quickly rose to the first position. however, she was later informed that her debut would be through a survival show, causing her to question whether to participate or pursue a different path, even considering becoming a producer instead. after much deliberation, she ultimately chose to embrace the opportunity and began her journey on I-LAND.

🔪 for Chris!
🔪 Awake surgery
CW: Referenced hand whump, blood, sadism, reluctant whumper, facility whump, BBU
"You have got to be joking." The doctor dried his hands off on the single-use towel he held, watching through the one-way window as the trainee inside sat, shaking his head at a nurse who was speaking to him in a low voice. He shook it less like he was saying no and more like he was simply denying that she was speaking at all. "Him again? What the fuck is Petrus doing to this kid? It's only been, what, four days since I got him out of the clinic in the first place!"
"I mean, you know what he does to him, he's one of the little sluts." The handler rolls his eyes. "Petrus fucks him stupid, not that any of them have brains to begin with. But this time 223499 dropped a glass during his Mixology class. Can't pin it this one on Petrus, it's all on 499 being a little bitch again. His Mixology instructor says he's a clumsy little shit."
"Great. Okay." Dr. Ross has a headache already. He hates this place, hates the crude, aggressive handlers and the way they talk about - and to - the trainees. He hates sewing the injured trainees up only to see them again, with new wounds needing dressed and new terror in their eyes. He hates everything about this job except the paycheck.
He can't wait to get another job and get the hell out of here.
The Facility gets to him - it works its way down under his skin, seeing the haunted, nervous way the trainees looked around all the time, trying to guess where pain would come from next. Trying to curry favor, to avoid the torture constantly forced on them anyway. He's been seeing their frightened faces and hearing them beg in his dreams far too often. "So he's here because..."
"It's a deep cut." The handler shrugs. "He needs stitches."
Dr. Ross looks back at the trainee. 223499 is holding perfectly still while the nurse turns his hand over. His palm is a mess of blood, darker than the new-penny shine of his hair. The trainee's stained fingers twitch nervously.
He's just a kid.
The same kid who'd automatically gone to his knees just a week ago, ready to do whatever he was commanded to, thoughtless obedience making the doctor's stomach turn.
He has to get out of here.
Dr. Ross swallows, feeling like there's a lump in his throat he just can't quite get rid of it. "Fine. I'll prep something to numb his hand, we'll give him a little bit of-"
"Nah." The handler shrugs, looking bored. "His primary's got a note on his file, didn't you see it? No painkillers for three weeks. Not even topical."
Dr. Ross watches 223499 flinch away from the nurse, who slaps him, making him cry out. The sound is muffled through the one-way window. As is the apology the boy provides immediately, stammering through it, only to be slapped again. This time, he doesn't cry out. He only cringes back, hunching into himself, and keeps his eyes down.
It makes Dr. Ross feel sick.
"... fine," He says, realizing the silence is drawing out too long. "I'll get him sewn up. He can go back to his room once it's done. Tell Petrus to leave him alone for one night, at least?"
The handler snorts with dry humor. "Yeah, good luck on that. But I'll tell him you said so. You want me to help you strap him down?"
Dr. Ross doesn't let himself look at the trainee again. "Yeah. Come in and strap him down while I prep."
"You got it, Doc." The handler gives him a lazy salute.
The kid doesn't fight being strapped down, but it doesn't matter. Once the work begins, the kid's back arches, he screams and thrashes wordlessly, then... even worse, he makes noises after like he's dying, low moaning sounds that seem barely human. He's shuddering, whispering apologies when all he'd done was drop a glass and try to clean it up too fast.
Dr. Ross goes home that night with the trainee's screaming in his ears. He hears the sounds the kid makes once the needle goes into his skin all weekend in his nightmares.
On Monday, he emails his resignation, effective immediately.
He's smart enough to have a one-way ticket booked for a country WRU isn't operating in before anyone reads it.

Part I Part II
ੈ♡˳ Author's◇ note - Haha what if I pretended my shamelessly OCfied male reader was a character :))) Here's to me doing everything possible to build up my "reader" lore. Everything except actually drawing and naming him 😭 If you're curious about previous posts regarding my mans, you could skim over These!! Me when writing this: im gonna make up SO MUCH BULLSHIT about snezhnaya and the other harbingers.
𝘝𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 : ENG - Stephen Fu (Noe Archiviste from Vanitas no Carte) JP - Kento Ito (Dan Heng from Honkai Star Rail)
𝘉𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 : October 19 (Libra)
𝘈𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 : Northland Bank of the Fatui
𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 : Hydro
𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 : Cygnus Venatici (The Hunting Swan)
A senior branch manager of Snezhnaya’s Northland bank. As a fatuus, he is formally well-known as the Venator Dux, who mans the Snezhnayan Order of Gold and Exchange founded by the Ninth Harbinger. He hunts in pursuit of the Tsar's vision, but his loyalties are far removed from her.
𝘝𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦-𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴
𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰 Ah, the renowned traveller, in the flesh. A visitor to each of the seven nations, while your reputation has run across the continent twice over. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. If you've heard of the Snezhnayan Order of Gold and Exchange, that'd be me who's in charge of it. I am one of the agents within Lord Regrator's primary circle of officials, so you may address me as Venator dux.
𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵: 𝘐𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 I've been in my respective position for over a decade now, and for the last four years, have come across choice tales surrounding your name. A big fan of your work, really! Lord Regrator has had his interest piqued for a while now... so for the sake of civilized peace and alliance, let's get along... shall we? Try not to cause any trouble and I might consider putting in a good word for you.
𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵: 𝘋𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘬𝘴 A large bulk of my work is centered around days of scrawling pen over paper... but really, one can only digest hefty documents for so long. I've had my fill for many years on end-... now, I'd prefer to partake in more physical tasks.
𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵: 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 I fear the new batch of rookies are growing too lax in their combat training… perhaps it was my uninspiring teaching method today. As a Venator, it simply won’t do to disappoint them. Traveller, would you help a man out and join the session today? The trainees could do with a fresh perspective on things.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐𝘵 𝘙𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴
No shelter to be seen... here's to praying that you don't catch a cold. Oh don't worry about me, I seldom get sick.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴 I've always wondered how the real clap of thunder would feel in comparison to a shock of electro. Unless you want to volunteer for that, watch your step.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐𝘵 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘴 Eh... I've seen it once, I've seen it a thousand times. That being said, the nights that are covered in an impossibly slow curtain of snowfall are some of the rarer times I stop to admire it.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘶𝘯 𝘐𝘴 𝘖𝘶𝘵 Finally. Some real warmth to my face. I am but a simple man, languishing like a wilted flower in the absence of our sun's blazing gaze.
𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 Actually... I think I might just prefer the miserable winter cold over this.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘴 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 What's with the aggressive breeze today? Does the Anemo archon have bills to pay?
𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 Good morning. I was about to stop by the city lake on my way to the bank and feed the local geese. You can come along if you'd like. Keep your distance from Tatiana though. She bites.
𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘈𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘰𝘰𝘯 On a slow lazy day, I'd be waking up around noon. Fortunately, the weekend is right around the corner, so I can do just that.
𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 Although the Northland "bank" closes to the public by evening, the building itself stays open till midnight for other classified affairs. So I may as well make the most of my break time before I'm needed again.
𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 Oh, I must've lost track of time. It's quite late into the night, so before I go, let me walk you back to whatever establishment you're staying at... Oh, uh- I'm... not sure I heard you correctly. You said you live... inside... a teapot...?
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳: 𝘚𝘯𝘦𝘻𝘩𝘯𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 It was the very first decree of order at the hands of Lord Regrator when he came into power as a Harbinger many years ago; to inaugurate a faction dedicated to rearing the potential he painstakingly carved into the foundations of the Northland bank. It is just as the name implies. An executive body responsible for developing economic policies and providing regulation, consulting, and forecasting of socioeconomic and business development, ranging from simple roadside shops to production factories-Oh, have I lost you? Haha... don't apologize, I've seen that expression a couple times before. In simple terms: we help run the nation's cycle of mora, trade system, and citizen’s businesses.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘯𝘵 [Unlocked at Friendship Lv. 4] The title bestowed upon me, Venator Dux, signifies not just leadership but mastery over a successful hunt- or in some cases, a successful business strategy. The master hunter requires a discerning eye, a mind that can decipher the intricate patterns woven by our adversaries. Information is our ammunition, and knowledge is the silent arrow that strikes before the prey even realizes the hunt has begun.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘜𝘴: 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘴 Various forms of dance and song are the lifeblood of Snezhnaya’s festivals. During fall, you’ll find multiple dance troupes and clowns passing each village, town, and city to perform. I personally look forward to the dancers.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘜𝘴: 𝘓𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘺 [Unlocked at Friendship Lv. 6] Your little companion has stuck with you since day one? Truly? That is… a highly admirable trait, one that I will always stand by. Loyalty is not a mere pledge, it anticipates the unspoken desires of another; a commitment that transcends the superficial bonds of allegiance. I keep this ideal close to my heart... for only a single person.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 I was hesitant to use a delusion in the first place, so frankly, I’m glad to have been gifted this for whatever reason I was found worthy of. However… Lord Regrator harbours an uncanny dislike for my vision. It’s not something that has been brought up, but I can read between the lines.
𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 You didn’t hear it from me, but I encourage the employees at the bank to keep a list of all the infuriating and rude customers. It’s to spice up all the sparring and combat practice sessions by naming and dressing up the dummies as people they’d like to kick- Ha!
𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 This wintry climate is harsh and unsustainable for various flora and fauna. The Charmomila flower doesn’t care about any of that. They’ll grow in obnoxious places if they want to. The real deal comes from the summer butterflies that feast on its nectar. After a while their wings turn a beautiful honey-yellow, which are harvested and brewed into the sweetest and most expensive nonalcoholic beverage you’ll find around here. I enjoy a glass of one semi-regularly on work mornings.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳: 𝘈𝘷𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦 [Unlocked at Friendship Lv. 6] He will have my sincere respect, always. Lord Regrator has built his empire up from a scratch in the dirt, something impossible to do were he a lesser man. His sacrifices of blood, sweat, and tears has bled into the policies that the bank stands on today. Money breeds imbalance and power, which in turn grants freedom and recognition if you are on the right side of the coin. Regrator is a utilizing man and he guards what’s his, zealously. He will take and take until his arms sag with the weight, and uphold his promise to give out the correct equivalents because he lets his value of fair exchange lead him like a vice. For as long as he stays true to his greed, I will be the hand that reaches forward to grasp what he desires.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳: 𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘶𝘮 [Unlocked at Friendship Lv. 6] Lord Regrator expects a strict level of decorousness from everyone working under his name- from me to even the most forgotten grunts. It's nothing outrageous of course. You would only ever see the metaphorical boot-licking than a literal one. I find it a bit much sometimes but the public eye is nothing to scoff at. Especially to a man of his status. The Snezhnayan dvoryane make up more than a third of the Northland Bank's clientele- not to mention the stakes a couple of them have invested. And if there is anything that those feather-headed fools care about, it's posh theatrics. *Sigh* Still... I quite enjoy falling in step with Pantalone's politesse. He has a beautiful manner of speech that I've never been able to measure up to.
𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳: 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘎𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 [Unlocked at Friendship Lv. 6] …Why do I feel like you’re trying to fish for critical information...? Fine- I'll concede. It's your head on the line anyways. Lord Regrator is a big player in the system of underground businesses that connect Nathan and Snezhnaya. Technically it could be called a black market, but it’s mainly run by a small council of social elites from both nations. There are occasional hosted auctions, that my lord targets to buy out priceless artifacts from. I’m talking about lost pieces of history and endangered caged beasts over items with resell value. Now… with that being said, as long as this secret remains safe… so do you. It’s always me who’s dispatched to make sure it stays that way.
