I got this big ass box of King of Prism merch +more from japan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered this stuff months ago (at the time I had a small income, I am now income-less and maybe slightly regret this order ;-; ) and it took 2 months to get here lol, but it all came in great shape!

Would anyone want me to take pictures of the doujin pages? I don't have a scanner (nor do I speak Japanese lol) but they're all so cute! One of them is a little spicy but it's still only like 16+.

I'm not sure if this is going to be the final place for these posters yet, but I do like them where they are.

The cork board is looking great!!! I'd like to get some Ace Attorney keychains for the empty spots, but it's a LOT more full then it was before. I need to organize my shelf though, because there's too much for it now!

My favorite piece is definitely the large acrylic of Over the Rainbow in suits! It's SO BIG way bigger then I expected. That was one of the last things I decided to get, and I'm so happy with it. There's more stuff I want for sure, but ehehe not for awhile I suppose.

March 2024 Tokyo Prism Stone haul p... part 1...?

Believe it or not this was s-sorta holding back. I really wanted one of the plush dolls but I couldn't decide between Naru, Amari, and Pololo. Luggage space is precious so I told myself if I can't decide I get none.

I also passed on getting a PriMagi card file because the voice in my head said "You probably won't get enough cards to use it." (........that might have changed.)

Anyway, they still had ALL the High School PriChan musical merch (and even some of the PriPara virtual live stuff too) despite being sold out online. I still don't understand why Daia is only on the bag and not in the badges, etc. (The only reason I can think of is she plays a bigger role in part 2 and they are making more later maybe?)

I am not gonna open them yet to see how/if they work, but those Prism Stone things in the top right were on display holding actual stones?

Welcome To Pretty Series Brackets~

I saw tons of bracket accounts for other fandoms but when I searched I found none of the Pretty Series despite PriPara having a decent amount of fans. This is my attempt to remedy that!

A small post on the current state of Idol Land Pripara (speculation post)

I can come up with a billion possible theories off the top of my head as to why these maintenance server errors are happening.

Most obviously would be fan anticipation and the influx of player interest at launch. Maybe they never expected the fan base to be so large, thus the server crashes. Possibly this was supposed to be a soft launch instead of a grandiose event. But the problem with that is the hype they themselves had built up hype with cafe collabs, merch drops, concerts, stage shows, and the ONA (the web series). They even put a video announcing it on their youtube page, with the VAs of Yui and Amari to promote and showcase the game.

It could also possibly be game dev crunch. After all, syn-sophia is still the developer of pripara. They would have to restructure the pripara, experience to mobile and that’s no easy task. They have to change the user interface, add new features, and maybe squash a few bugs. I think the team is stretched pretty thin. Keep in mind, they would possibly be working on their current projects Waccha Primagi and soon Fashion Dreamer at the same time. The rebuttal would be that the dev team behind Idol Land could be an entirely different team within the company.

But the biggest theory (and jumping the shark) is maybe Takara TOMY ARTS, the secondary collaborator of Pripara, saw how poorly Prichan did back then and wanted to make money back by reviving the previous series that did them well financially. By doing so they are pushing the devs to make a deadline they can’t reach, so delay after delay. It’s been almost 4 years since the initial teaser announcement from way back in December of 2020.

At this point I fear not of the game’s performance, nor the errors and hours of server maintenance. I worry for the dev team and the amount of pressure they’ve been under. I hope we all can enter Idol Land together without the system crashing beneath our feet. I will paitently wait, check back in every few hours, and cross my fingers as I press enter hoping I will not get an “ERROR 2” message in bright pink and magenta.

Delicious Party PreCure has its moments but it's not my fav season or anything. I wish I had time for more anime this year, but unfortunately I've been working overtime.

utena is the best show ive watched in a long time i love picking it apart and even tough its super dark and hard to watch the visuals and everything is amazing i love the movie the most its so surreal and dreamy this is all entirely expected bc i love twin peaks and theyre a very similar niche

Keeping it to series i more or less saw this 2022 but i really wanna praise waccha primagi tho its more of an idol series than magical girl the magic is every present in the show and i love the great myamu sama the ending moved me to tears.

Obsessed with the Shugo Chara Wonderland merch that released earlier this year.

Was fascinated how some of the dress up collection dresses made a comeback in the DeliPre series. For example when Kokone was shown wearing Rikka's blue gown.

Watching Vampire in the Garden (a non mahou show) has given me ideas for making a magical girl OC with clothes based on Imperial Russia. You can never have too many OCs!

all the merch and new content for the early-mid 2000's shows and manga has got me really excited! like, of course we got the Tokyo Mew Mew reboot, but there's been new merch and art for Shugo Chara, Mermaid Melody has that sequal series being released, and even Saint Tail has gotten some stuff. It makes me hopeful that other manga besides Mew Mew will also get the same love and attention!

I finally got around to watching all of Day Break Illusion and GOD it started out really cool and interesting, but than it decided to just get BAD bad a bit after the half way mark. Lots of missed potential.

The 4th cures design and general costume of delipre didnt really live up to the food theme.

Honestly I really hate how delicious party precure is pushing stress eating as a good thing.

Delicious Party Precure seemed to have TOO many themes at the same time and didn't feel as cohesive as other teams to me.

Hmm I tried watching some of the later entries in precure (tropical rouge and delipre) and I simply couldn’t get into any of them :/ I also tried watching flip flappers again and simply couldn’t get through it again -_- it was uncomfortable to watch

i mean i think that rainbow live and primagi may have not sold as well because they barely had any products to begin with, aside from the arcade game cards and maybe some posters or keychains. from a personal perspective i prefer this bc most of the merch will just end up in a landfill within 3 years. but from a sales perspective, of course you won't sell well when you have less products

Thinking about the regular in the Idol Land discord who is a seasoned PriPara cosplayer & merch collector. They're strongly against pirating PriPara media and are a huge advocate for the Idol Land game. Yet they're on record saying they haven't finished the PriPara anime and won't because they didn't like it, and will get angry when people change the topic to other Pretty Series shows because they don't like them. Especially PriMagi, they're on record saying they wish PriMagi would die.

Just asking because you'd be better able to know if anything was asked/answered on the JP social media, I don't Really expect that any info about this would've come out though there's a chance I'm at least not the only one curious - do you think we'll ever be getting Dreaming Girl in the app? There were two (2) new coords in Idol Time era or I'd just sigh and assume it was a forgotten relic, but it had a lot of my favorites when I first got into PriPara.

Anyway, that tangent aside, I really don't spend a lot of time on Japanese Twitter, or Twitter at all really aside from official accounts. But that being said, although anything is possible I really do not think Dreaming Girl will ever be added into Idol Land for the following reasons:

Well... We never even really had it on the arcade game! I mean yeah, you could scan in Dreaming Girl coords but they were never available in the gatcha, etc. Dreaming Girl has always been an exclusive promo/merch/toy only brand as far as I know.

Also, they didn't bother to add it into the Switch game and Idol Land is heavily based on the Switch.

It's too bad! Dreaming Girl had a lot of my favorites too! Especially from the Millefeui Collection! It's so sad to think it's just lost.
