So happy to finally make something for this au !!

Most of the cast are spirits - the AU started out with me getting emo about name meanings. It turned out so well and I have so many thoughts, so I’ll put the broad strokes of the plot under the ‘read more’.

The plot:

- We open with Daichi, a wandering-knight-type who has been badly injured travelling on a mountain path. At the peak, at night, in the rain, he stumbles upon a long-abandoned shrine

- At sunrise, he wakes, and finds he’s not alone. Asahi tends to his wounds, and gives him some of the little food he has, and sends him on his way. Daichi makes the rest of the journey to the village safely

- In the village, at an inn, he meets Suga and Takeda, who he tells about his journey. To his confusion, they insist that the mountain shrine hasn’t been tended to in decades. The ‘priest’ Daichi remembers does not exist.

- A clue appears when Daichi sees the statue in the centre of the town: two men in a loving embrace. One of them is Asahi.

- Takeda is knowledgable about the spirits and mythology that surround the town - the mountain on one side, and the valley on the other. He tells Daichi the legend associated with the statue. Two spirit lovers, the morning at the evening, the peak and the valley. On the equinox, the pair would meet in the middle of the town, and the city began throwing a festival to honour the event, which is still held to this day.

- Suga, Takeda’s student, returns with Daichi to the shrine to investigate. When they wait for sunrise, Asahi appears again - delighted to have visitors.

- From him, they learn: he is indeed the spirit from the legend. Over decades, as the mountain pass became more dangerous, fewer and fewer travellers visited his shrine. Asahi grew weaker, and was no longer able to protect the travellers - making the journey more dangerous in turn. Now, he is so weak that he can only manifest at sunrise, and has lost his connection with the other sprits on the mountain. He can’t reach out to Nishinoya anymore, and it’s been decades since they were able to meet.

- Suga and Daichi resolve to help Asahi, and to help him find Nishinoya again. To do so, they must find and help the other spirit pairs on the mountain, who are weakened and fading thanks to Asahi’s disappearance.

- Hinata and Kageyama are phasing out into sunlight and shadow respectively, and cannot see each other.

- Tsukishima and Yamaguchi’s ages fluctuate with the phases of the moon, but they have been knocked out of sync.

- Ryuu is stuck in dragon form. Kiyoko is trapped behind her waterfall.

- No one can find Nishinoya at all.

- And… we go from there! With the help of Daichi, Suga, Takeda, and Ukai (a man who speaks to spirits without realising and assumes weird teenagers just keep hanging around his workshop), the spirits are brought back together and of course Noya will be found :>

Description: He was a tall man with fair skin wearing the robes of a Sea Priest, wearing a turtle mask on his face. His eyes were light black while having rather straight bushy brows. He had wavy brown hair that flowed down his face. 

Height: 181 cm

Personality: An adamant, but at the same time a modest man that is willing to go through hell itself in order to save his friends. While he may not be the most self confident person alive, he does show pride in his Shield Magic, which is used to save others than himself. He doesn’t want to take credit from other people, which is why he doesn’t want to ruin the moment for the Black Bulls.

Backstory: He was adopted into his family inside of the Sea Temple due to his parents being infertile and their wishes of having a family, so they decided to adopt a child from the Clover Kingdom because every child had at least one parent at the time. It took some time for the adoption process to be fulfilled, his parents were excited to finally have a child and they looked at the eyes of Bastion and knew that they wanted to adopt him. In the Sea Temple, he learned the history of the Sea God and wanted to help out his family and the culture the best that he could by becoming a Sea Priest.

Hdjdvdjsbkdbdkdbsjdbjdbdj omg thank you!!!^^ I haven’t played the game myself yet but I have (tragically) come down with a serious case of brainrot…😔 nothings set in stone yet, but I can definitely ramble about some ideas I have!!

Okay, so first off, I haven’t seen many Fem Lambs, and I absolutely adore writing fems, so my Lamb will be She/They. I think I’ll be sticking with ‘The Lamb’ as her name as well.

As for the cultists, I’ll be revamping characters from a (very, I’m talking 2012) old Original Work I have. I never posted anything, but I feel like now is finally the time to let them shine!

There’s Anya the harlequin rabbit person, Reiketsuna the snow leopard, and Daichi the bat. Those are the main ones I want to revamp, especially Anya, as she has always been my favorite.

Of course there’s also ‘The Wolf’ I mentioned in the other posts. Something something, a sweet lamb comes across an dangerous, injured wolf and nurses it back to health. Undying loyalty and all that, yknow? I’ll probably be basing him off of Hotaru, the wolf person. Might change a few things though as his personality and the Wolf I want to make are vastly different…

AOUGH. And i really want a ferret…. They’re so cute😔 WHAT ABOUT A SALAMANDER?????

I’m also playing with the idea of adding Hoshihiko and Koichiko, (the fox and weird half dragon half priest person … thing. Respectively.) but I’d need to majorly rehaul them, seeing as they were the main hero and villain of that story… idk though, maybe I can work them in? Augh.

I also want to put more focus on how the cultists are, indeed, animals. They act, think, eat, play, forge bonds, and live, in vastly different ways; And I think it would really fun to explore that. Foxes are mostly solitary unless rearing young, and then they form what’s called a ‘skulk’. Wolves always in packs and form deep family connections. Snow leopards are always solitary, roaming as ‘the ghosts of the mountains’. Sheep have large flocks and a leading sheep or shepherd.

Sheep can not be solitary or else they experience extreme distress. A sheep will follow their leader even when being led into danger and death, that is how deep the instinct to be follow is…

Jsbdjdbdjsvsj. Don’t mind me, I’m insane. Anyway! Here’s the finished Lamb design and the idea for the Wolf. (I have no idea how to draw furries… plebse forgibv…😔)

Rainy Days

"The rain was always your favorite. You always loved listening to it patter against the rooftops. Remember when we would sit out on the porch and just listen to the rain. You loved the smell of the rain too. You opened all the windows in the house and it would always smell like fresh air and clean laundry," Sugawara said, stroking your cheek.

He smiled as he looked down at you. You were always beautiful but right now you looked like an angel. Especially in the white dress you were wearing.. Never in his life had he met someone so perfect, there can't be someone so perfect. Until you came into his life.

"I remember that first day I met you. It was our third year and you transferred to Karasuno and when you walked into my class you knocked me off my feet. The more I got to know you the more I fell. I was so nervous every time we studied together because my heart was pounding. I thought you could hear it."

He lifted your left hand so he could brush his thumb over your fingers and the engagement ring that adorned your finger.

"When I asked you to marry me it was at nationals when we won. You were waiting to congratulate us on the win and I couldn't stop myself from dropping down on one knee and asking. Everyone was surprised because we only dated for a short while but like I said. You were my one and only."

He felt hot tears spring to his eyes as he desperately tried to blink them away.

"Suga. It's time," Daichi reported, clapping a hand on his back.

"Looks like it's time for you to shine Angel," Sugawara said, his voice breaking.

Sugawara left the room you were in to take his seat in the front row in between Daichi and Asahi. Asahi gave him a comforting squeeze on his shoulder. He felt others hands on his shoulders in support. When the doors opened everyone stood up and turned to look at his beautiful girl.

He felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest as he saw you come down the aisle. He didn't pay much attention to what the priest was saying, he couldn't focus on anything except for his beloved.

It wasn't often Suga felt overwhelmed but he needed to take a break. He exited out of the room and outside to feel the cold air from the rain hit his skin. He walked to the edge of the railing and reached out his hand to let the droplets of rain fall into his hand.

"When I imagined you coming down the aisle, I didn't imagine you in a casket," Sugawara cried softly. He feels like this is one giant nightmare and that at any moment he will wake up to find you curled up into his side.

He remembers when he lost you. You and him were coming back from a date. you both had been busy at your jobs and wanted a nice evening together. Walking back to the apartment you wanted to take an evening stroll through the park. Suga wasn't going to deny your request. You were enjoying each other's company when you both overheard an argument and then shots rang out. Suga tried to shield you but ended up getting shot. He tried his hardest to save you but died in his arms.

"Come on, Angel. Don't do this to me. Fight to stay alive, baby, please," Sugawara pleaded as he used his coat to try and stop the bleeding.

"Koushi. I'm not going to make it. Even if you can get me to a hospital it's slim chance to none I won't be able to pull through," you said softly.

"No, don't talk like that. That's negative talk. You just need to hold out a little longer."

You smiled up at him, reaching out to touch his cheek, "I know it is but it's the truth. And the truth always hurts. I don't feel pain anymore and I feel cold. Both are bad signs."

He held your hand that cradled his cheek and stroked your head with the other. He knew you weren't going to survive this. You were bleeding out too fast.

"I love you, my Angel," he said as he kissed your palm.

"I love you too, Koushi. Forever and always." He felt you go limp and he wailed out in agony as he just lost the love of his life.

He cried for days on end. He couldn't sleep and on nights he did get some shut eye he slept on the couch. Why would he sleep in a bed if you weren't there with him? He didn't eat very much and took very little care of himself.

When the team heard the news they were quick to move. Daichi and Asahi moved into his home to take care of him while everyone else took care of the funeral plans, only bothering Suga for his input on colors and style choices.

Everyone asked for time off from their jobs to be in support of their former teammate. Suga always supported everyone else and now it was time for them to return the favor.

Sugawara looked up towards the sky and saw the clouds part to let sunshine through. He saw a rainbow cast across the sky. He chuckled to himself and shook his head. He turned to walk back inside to join his friends.

A few hours later and everyone had left. Now just stood Suga with you in an empty room. He walked towards your casket and silently prayed before standing to look at you again.

"You were right about the rain. I never knew why you liked it so much. You always talked about going overseas to a state where it rained ninety percent of the time. Now I think I understand. 'You can't have a rainbow without a little rain.' Even though you're gone you still manage to make me feel better. I miss you everyday. I wish I could hold you one last time. I will always love you, Angel. Forever and always."

Suga leaned down and pressed his lips against your forehead. He put his forehead to yours and let out a breath. He knew things wouldn't go back to normal, and it was going to be rough without you, but this too shall pass, and he knows that if he keeps you in his heart, he can make it through.

Dear Adventurous Journal 11/26/XX

I should of known. I thought shrine gods are benevolent and all that. But the way Miko described them was pretty powerful. She told me how the Mountain God bless her, saying three times and each time she is in danger because a curse sees her. Mountain God had her two shrine priests, fox girls to vanquish them. She used her second to defeat the curse haunting her teacher after her first one is killing the curses plaguing her school.

At first, I didn't think too much about it. I was glad that there are spirits around that are good and take down cursed spirits.

I didn't want to bring up any false alarms since Jujutsu Tech is more like exorcise first and ask questions later. I already asked Miko about the Shrine God. I saw the shrine foxes once when my classmates and I went over to exorcise a big curse. I didn't know that it was Miko's school.

Megumi chew my ass out for not reporting that Miko can see curses and I was training her. But that won't happen again! I brought my findings over to Megumi to get his opinion. I was thinking of asking Sukuna. Sure, asking the King of Curses isn't ideal, but it's better to ask than to assume things. For some reason, I wish I hadn't asked and yet I'm glad that I did ask. Sukuna knows this shrine curse, it is called the God of the Mountain, and this curse isn't friendly. Dangerous and hostile in his own words. Used to be a shrine maiden at first. A vengeful curse. Even Sukuna doesn't like her. The ball dropped when he told us that after using up three times after making a wish, the God of the Mountain wants her soul.

HER SOUL? I just lost it. What sort of god wants someone's soul after making a wish to save someone else?! That's no god. That's a curse disguised as a god. Sukuna is right about this god being an asshole. I wanted to burn that shrine to the ground for doing stuff like that. (....... a rough scribble.....) It's happening again. I can't let this happen again!

I am not letting someone die again because of me! I told myself I can't make that mistake again. I'm not a little kid anymore! And now look! I'm putting someone I care about in danger! I need to do something. Since Gojo is out, the only person I can go to Nanami. And listening to Nanami, it helps a lot. So now, we are going to bring Miko over to the dorms. Dear....fuck it....

That damn fucking....fuck curse god.

She sent her minions to harass Miko during training. She knows what we have been doing. I mean it makes sense given that the curse is as smart as us. We had Miko checked over by the doctors. After checking her out, she....had a panic attack. I can't forgive the God of the Mountain. I told her that I got her back no matter what.

Then... Miko used up her third. Because a curse was attacking her family and her house. Thank god, her father's ghost managed to prevent any harm to her and her family. We did our best in exorcising the curses in her neighborhood. Ichiji-san puts up a barrier to make sure no curses get in or out. Of course, two of my friends saw the ghost in question, but there is no time to explain. The God of the Mountain used the curses to get Miko to use up her last wish. This wish was saving someone else.

Damn that curse. Her body...her soul is in limbo. Between life and death. I won't let this happen. I won't let anyone take Miko away. Not on my watch. It's time to go on this fox hunt! Well...I didn't die. I felt like shit to be honest. It felt like a dream after fighting God of the Mountain and her shrine fox maidens.

I managed to pull through. The God of Mountain was an asshole like Sukuna said. Telling us through her shikigami that the deal is made and Eito tries to explain to them that Miko made a wish without knowing the specifics of the deal. Not to mention, she cheated. By manipulating in getting Miko into using up her last wish by having the curses attack her and her family. I just couldn't forgive that. After dealing with her minions, she appears. The moment I saw that mountain curse after dealing with the shrine maidens. I can't lie. I was scared. She's a grade 1 curse. Close to Special Grade 1 from what I learn in class. But the fear went away...when the God of Mountain started talking. I thought reasoning with her would do something. But no. It doesn't. Each word makes me want to throw up. I remember her words in my head. That spirit knew that Miko could see her, and she took advantage of it. Once we get involved, she decides to speed up the deal. So what did I do? Blasted her with a fire arrow. It didn't do a lot of damage but it shut her up real quick, and she got into a fight. I will say this. The fight was tough. I am glad that Sukuna told us what is the weakness of this curse, the weakness that is tying her cursed spirit to this world. Her skull is inside her shrine. I had to think. We have to distract the curse and have someone destroy the curse. I had Nobara to go after it thanks to her technique. I had Eito go with her. The battle was tough. Megumi already explained this in detail in his report. I was glad that Miko is safe and awake but then I heard that Nanami is taking her home.

Nobody knows, but Miko and I knew there was a spirit in that house. Miko's father. His ghost...

I had to stop them! I didn't think of my injuries! I had to run over and stop Nanami from doing something so terrible. I quickly explain myself and begged Nanami not to exorcise as it is my responsibility to do so. Nanami agrees but we're going to talk with Gojo about this. Dear Journal ---- 12/12/20XX ---

After the meeting, Miko's dad forgave Nanami for reacting and clear up any misunderstandings. It must have been scary for both of them. Still...Gojo and Nanami decided the best way to handle it was to have Miko's dad pass on peacefully. The Higher-Ups were ticked off that I was defending Miko's dad even if a spirit protected her and fought off the curses. In a sense, I don't even think of Miko's dad as a curse. Just a ghost. Sure, Mezu is a different story, but it is a guardian that can be mistaken for a curse. He helped protect Miko, and Eito talked to him! Mezu is not even hostile! He was just protecting Yotsuya's family. Mezu isn't a curse! Sure, it has cursed energy but...I don't know. I just can't see it. I wish there were an exception to the rule, but the Higher-Ups won't allow it. Even if Yotsuya's ghost is friendly and not a threat. He's just a dad, for God's sake. Nanami told me that I shouldn't keep it from anyone but he understood why I hid that information from everyone. He told me that I was kind, but I was risking my own life. Gojo-sensei agrees. Adding to the fact that hells me after sitting me down that I was almost about to be punished. Like really bad, almost a guaranteed execution. My body freezes at that. They are seriously going to execute me for that? Seriously? The Higher-Ups let it pass since I and everyone else exorcised the God of the Mountain Curse, which is a grade 1. But they can't make exceptions for Mezu since, in his own words, they're a bunch of old geezers who are paranoid and afraid. He tells me that I should trust him and Nanami if this ever happens again. Also, Gojo is proud of me for saving Miko's life, helping take down the God of the Mountain, and calls me gutsy for defending a spirit. It doesn't happen that often.

With that said, I returned to my dorm. I was suspended from missions for a month. Except for one mission. Miko's dad.

Principal Yaga told me that I am assigned to this mission and he is upset with me about keeping this secret from everyone. About Yotsuya's ghost. He wants to know why I didn't exorcise him on sight.

I said. Because that's her dad and I have no right to do it.

He argues that he is dead and he is now spirit, where a cursed spirit. We went back and forth. I don't remember what I said but Eito helps me remember.

Nobody is ready to say goodbye even if they're gone.

MIko lost her dad once, and I am not letting Miko go through that again. In a way, Miko's dad is alive in a sense. I am not going to exorcise him because he's a spirit, even with a cursed spirit attaching to him. It's like asking me to murder an innocent person. Killing someone's family member because they're a spirit.

It was silence but Principal Yaga said that being a sorcerer means making the hard decisions in order to do good for the sake of everyone. In a way, he understood my sentiment as he knows that feeling. He tells me the best way to help someone is to be someone's support during the toughest time.

So he tells me that I should do something I believe in. With that, I make it my mission to do this right now.

He heard more about Nikolai's abilities. Daichi widens his eyes in amazement. Man, so he could bring out anything! Heck! He could drop a tree—an entire tree on someone. He can put someone's foot into the ground using a portal, something straight out of a video game.

"Really?! You make your own clothes?!" Daichi said. Compared to his attire, Daichi brought his hero attire from a cosplay store in Akihabara; the jacket cloak, the bandages, and the eyepatch — which is not necessary since eyepatches are pretty cool. Then he brought gel and stylized his hair using a book. Lastly, he bought the dark cargo pants and combat boots from a thrift store.

"Nice to meet you too! The name is Daichi PheonX, a-uh...supernatural adventurer. Some call me a sorcerer! I am the wielder of the Dark Flames from the Dark Phoenix!" Daichi introduces himself and states his ability to Nikolai with a proud smile. "I can create, control, and manipulate the flames with my ability! I can create fireballs, fire arrows, and oh! I can set my sword into a flame sword!"

"If I were you, I'd do some research on exorcisms~! It might give you some ideas so you can prepare in case one day you DO have to deal with a possession~!" Nikolai never thought it hurt to be well prepared, even if he doubted something would happen. He had no idea how he would go against a possession, but that wasn't in his job description to deal with.

The clown nodded his head a few times as the other man spoke. "Uh huh~. But I can bring more than just guns or smoke bombs. I can actually store an explosion into my cape, and release it onto someone~! Or drop a tree on them. Or bury them in dirt~. I got all KINDS of things in my cape, ready to take out whenever needed~! I can also trap people too. Like shift a leg from someone and mend it into the ground when I transport it. It's also good for bringing back up. Often times I'll be the single person going in against a criminal. The group gets taken by surprise when I release the whole Agency out of my cape~. Nikolai gasped, yes, introductions! They hadn't even introduced each other yet! Nikolai reached out with his hand, offering for a shake. A big grin on his features as he looked at the new companion.

Sugawara left the room you were in to take his seat in the front row in between Daichi and Asahi. Asahi gave him a comforting squeeze on his shoulder. He felt others hands on his shoulders in support. When the doors opened everyone stood up and turned to look at his beautiful girl.

He felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest as he saw you come down the aisle. He didn't pay much attention to what the priest was saying, he couldn't focus on anything except for his beloved.

It wasn't often Suga felt overwhelmed but he needed to take a break. He exited out of the room and outside to feel the cold air from the rain hit his skin. He walked to the edge of the railing and reached out his hand to let the droplets of rain fall into his hand.

When the team heard the news they were quick to move. Daichi and Asahi moved into his home to take care of him while everyone else took care of the funeral plans, only bothering Suga for his input on colors and style choices.

Everyone asked for time off from their jobs to be in support of their former teammate. Suga always supported everyone else and now it was time for them to return the favor.

Sugawara looked up towards the sky and saw the clouds part to let sunshine through. He saw a rainbow cast across the sky. He chuckled to himself and shook his head. He turned to walk back inside to join his friends.

A few hours later and everyone had left. Now just stood Suga with you in an empty room. He walked towards your casket and silently prayed before standing to look at you again.

"You were right about the rain. I never knew why you liked it so much. You always talked about going overseas to a state where it rained ninety percent of the time. Now I think I understand. 'You can't have a rainbow without a little rain.' Even though you're gone you still manage to make me feel better. I miss you everyday. I wish I could hold you one last time. I will always love you, Angel. Forever and always."

Suga leaned down and pressed his lips against your forehead. He put his forehead to yours and let out a breath. He knew things wouldn't go back to normal, and it was going to be rough without you, but this too shall pass, and he knows that if he keeps you in his heart, he can make it through.
