OOC: I just found a tag called LGB drop the T. The things I found on there are genuinely disgust. How can you support a movement that harms your own community? Trans women of color are one of the major reasons we have Pride and can be gay openly. If any of my followers support LGB drop the T unfollow
Edit since I've seen a few reblogs: Please don't harass people who support LGB drop the T. If you want to have debates arguments etc with them that is okay but please keep it polite. Calling people names, insulting or just being rude only pushes them further into their beliefs.

Hey. Guys sorry for the hold up, I forgot that pride month was during June but I’m glad I got this in on the last day (I think, google better not be lying to me..or my memory) here is my pride month art for inanimate insanity!
Tumblr media
Couple things to note, 1. Everyone other than paintbrush and lightbulb is a head cannon and is NOT cannon, I don’t think anyway. 2. The second flat on trophy’s pole is the bi-gender flag, I used a different one than the more popular one because apparently the more used one has a problematic creator. I just wanted to be on the safe side just in case someone finds it offensive for using it!

I'm very proud of us Finnish people with 29.32%
Torilla tavataan!
Hey, if you have half a minute and care about the LGTBQIA+ community in the EU, I'd suggest you take a look at this initiative to ban conversion therapies in the EU.
1 million people are required to sign, but there's barely 100k. The form takes less than a minute, it only requires your ID, name and surname.
Please, help spread the initiative so that it can reach the goal ASAP!

In response to a transphobic post that I found,that was made by a fellow member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Just because the term nonbinary was created in 2000 that doesn't mean that nonbinary people didn't exist before then.
Trans people were at Stonewall,although it is true that the terms transexual and transvestite were used then(I'm not sure as to whether or not transgender was used then). And yes,these trans/transexual people we're usually gay as well. Also,trans is often used as an umbrella term for transgender,transexual,and transvestite people,and nonbinary people (as we aren't the same gender we were assigned at birth).
It is true that the Stonewall riots aren't the only reason we have Pride, it was,and in many ways still is,a demonstration for equal rights.
Memorializing "...queer,trans,black, indigenous and people of color(QTBIPOC) activists at the forefront of the 20th century lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, plus (LGBTQ+) movement." doesn't mean that we stop memorializing the white people at the forefront of the 20th century of LGBTG+ movement that didn't use the term queer for themselves and were cisgender or didn't use the term trans/transgender.
People may night ID as just queer or use the term queer, but queer is an all-encompassing and all-inclusive term. It describes anyone and everyone that has an identity that challenges the heteronormative standard. The standard that a person will be with one person of the "opposite" sex/gender;the standard that a person will develop both sexual and romantic attraction to people;the standard that a person's gender matches their sex;ECT.
It is also true that Intersex people are often only brought be people in the queer/LGBTQ+ people as a sort of gotch'ya. Specifically Trans people and Trans allies bring up Intersex people to tell transphobes that sex and gender are more complicated than they think. And it's not right,we shouldn't bring up Intersex people as a stepping stool for our rights and acceptance. Intersex people deserve their rights too. Obviously not all trans people and allies do this,but it is a problem.
Pride is and has always included lesbians,gay men,and bisexuals,saying otherwise is ridiculous. Trans people aren't the end of the queer/LGBTQ+ community, we've always been a part of the community, we've always existed,and we aren't going anywhere.
Lesbians,gay men,and bisexuals have NEVER been an afterthought in the community, they're focused on the most,and have the most representation. More rights and representation for other queer people doesn't mean less for others.
Transphobia is always misinformed and harmful, but your transphobic message is even more so because it comes from a fellow member of the community who should know and be better.
The first rainbow flag, designed by Gilbert Baker, does cover everyone,and here you are trying to pull it away from trans people and other "niche demographics". The message of the flag was inclusion,but it seems you don't understand that.

Also LGBTQA+ militaries were present on this Pride March. Just think about it. Open. LGBTQA+ militaries. So proud of my people 💖🇺🇦🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
🏳️‍🌈🇺🇦 Pride march was held in Kyiv, Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of full-scale invasion. It's dangerous for big crowds to gather for a long period of time due to potential russian airstrikes, so the event was smaller and shorter than usual, but still important and powerful.

Hiii I love you writing so much <3
I would love to see the housewardens with a bi S/O. How would then react? (gn please)
A/N: Oh, as a bisexual, I loved working on this one.
(Beware: it contains my personal headcanons about some worldbuilding and different characters orientation. It is merely my vision—you have all rights to disagree.)
GN!READER COMING OUT AS BISEXUAL TO THE HOUSEWARDENS AND HOW THEY REACT
Riddle Rosehearts. ❤️
— ”Wait, what do you mean you are bisexual? So, you can speak two languages or what?”
— Genuinely apologising here, but I believe that he has no idea about LGBTQ+ community. You need to explain him more about it;
— I feel like he knows the basics like the fact people could date people their gender, but overall everything you say means nothing to him;
— Though, I also think that because of his deprivation in the social contact with people—and because I don't think his mother had ever spoke with him about romantical love in general—he has no prejudices about it;
— (I also headcanon that later on he defines himself as asexual, but it is just my vision—);
— So, Riddle attentively listens to all of your explanations, thanks you for the trust, and accepts you easily.
Leona Kingscholar. 💛
— Firstly, I headcanon Leona as the open bisexual. And secondly, I like to imagine that Afterglow Savanna is a very progressive place to live in. They are highly feministic as we saw already, and, I think they are very LGBTG+ supportive community;
— Because of that, I also think that Leona had no idea that not everyone are so supportive. That coming out could be a dangerous and unnerving thing;
— Imagine coming out to him, only to see him shrugging the unbothered king he is...
— But! The moment you tell him about it, or about your genuine concerns about sharing it with him, Leona fixes his mistake by comforting you;
— And, oh, I think he would love taking you on trips to the Afterglow Savanna, so you get to see how accepting and free his people are;
— (Lmao, I think that sometimes both of you could just lazily slump over each other, and checking out random people in the crowd, because why not?)
Azul Ashengrotto. 🩵
— Oh, I think that Azul is very touched that he was shared with this kind of information;
— He is aware how judgmental the world can be, and that sometimes, sharing with this even with your closest friends and family could be hard;
— And, Azul knows that most of the people would never trust him with these things. So, he accepts your coming out as something especially valuable for many reasons;
— I feel like he would be the ”embarrassingly supportive parent” type of person, though. Like the one, who buys you awkward t-shirts and cups with bisexual flags;
— Which might or might not to be followed by the stupid puns;
— If you ask him about his preferences, he would probably try to pull out the ”I am Y/n-sexual” card.
Kalim Al-Asim. 🧡
— When it comes to Scalding Sands, I kind of see them to the the opposite of the Savanna. Which means that I see their community as the old-fashioned one, with conservative ways of thinking;
— So, for Kalim I have two possible scenarios, that are quite contradictory?
— Scenario number one: Kalim is clueless about all of this stuff—much like Riddle, but even worse—and he is not very sure about his own preferences;
— However, he is willing to research about it more—with your guiding hand, of course—and you can be assured that he will support you, even despite views of his country about this matter;
— In the second one I see him as a closet bisexual, who tries to keep it quiet for an obvious reasons;
— Which leads to him, supporting you well. I also think, he would be an active fighter for LGBTQ+ rights, often participating in the Gay Pride.
Vil Schoenheit. 💜
— Well, he works among models, actors, singers and a lot of different starts;
— Most of people in there are either friendly, or the part of the community theirselves, and with Vil practically growing up among them, it is only logical that he is not homophobic;
— I love to think that he is the part of the LGBTQ+ community himself, though, I don't have a specific headcanon for him;
— But... I think, he is in the closet as well;
— Don't get me wrong, but Vil is a very private type of star. He likes to keep everything personal in the secret, and such things could easily became a hot topic in the social media;
— However, when you confess to him about being bisexual, he is instantly very supportive, and comes out to you in return. You can count on him as much as he counts on you.
Idia Shroud. 💙
— I actually headcanon him as aroace, that is why I am having a hard time writing romantic works with his character, but let's ignore this;
— Oh, Idia is a child of internet. More to say, he is a fandom person. There is no way, he had never read fanfics on Ao3, and had his own pairings, lmao;
— I also headcanon him as that one type of guy, who ships his classmates, but he would be strangely accurate with that;
— Nevertheless, I think he is so absorbed in the virtual world and his circle of online friends, that he tends to forget that not all the world is gay and that homophobic people exist???
— So, when you coming out to him, he just... Shrugs. Like, hey, you are not special?
— It is up to you if you laugh about it and take his reaction as it is, or point out to him that you were nervous about it. In the second option, he will apologise and reassure you that everything is fine. But the result in all the same, he accepts you.
Malleus Draconia. 💚
— ”Wait, what do you mean you are bisexual? So, you can speak two languages or what?” X2
— But, consider this: I headcanon that all fae are queer;
— So, Malleus might not know about labels, but he grew up in the place, where everyone is gay, so...
— He finds it fascinating—and annoying—how different humal culture is from what he knows. Malleus also find a hard time understanding why anyone would hate people for loving someone;
— He quickly reassures you that it is absolutely normal, and he wouldn't care less. He loves you so much!! Please don't worry!! (Ha-ha, Lilia had a crush on both of my parents, so—);
— ...And I also think that just like Azul, he would buy a very cringe merch. Like t-shirts with ”My Lover Is Bisexual!” or ”BI proud!” shit, lmao. He thinks it is sweet and hilarious, and you can't do anything about it. Sorry.

"Daddy, we don't need to do this!" My daughter screams at the top of her lungs at the top of the stairs. I roll my eyes and yell back "Dear, I'm your father. I don't care what you want to do." I say scrolling through my phone and searching google for ideas for a surprise birthday celebration.
According to my phone, a good place to try and find party supplies is Target. I yell from the bottom of the stairs to my daughter. "Dear, you can either come with me, or I can go by myself." I wait a moment before I hear the slamming of her bedroom door, and then there she is appearing at the top of the stairs.
It's just been her and me since she was five, her mother died and left me to take care of her. She looks like her mother the more she grows up. My baby girl is turning seventeen at the end of this week, and honestly, I don't think I'm ready for her to be an adult.
I feel like I've missed out on so much with her, but in reality, I know that isn't true. She trots down the steps. Her heels click against the hardwood surface. She's wearing black jeans with a bright green shirt to match her eyes.
When she reaches the bottom of the stairs, she walks past me grabbing her purse, "If we are leaving then let's go daddy." She says opening and walking out of the front door. I roll my eyes and grab the eye to my Cadillac. The sky blue stings my eyes the first few moments of being outside.
Y/n is standing next to the car her hand pressed tightly around the handle. She's impatiently tapping her foot against the ground. I've spoiled her because I didn't think I was enough for her. I've spoiled her because that was something I thought Y/n's mother would have done for her.
I wish that my wife was here to see her. See our baby girl grow up into the amazing, strong, and brave woman she has become. As we walk around the store, I can hear the clicking of her heels against the tile flooring. She doesn't hold my hand anymore instead, she's got her hand wrapped tightly around her cell.
It's odd now to think about my bay all grown up, and wants nothing to do with me at all. She'd rather go hang out with her friends, or whatever she nowadays.
But she still calls me daddy, so I'm taking what I can get.
A fatherly instinct should have told me something when she started spending more time with her "girlfriends". Every weekend she'd come to me, pleading eyes, and her mother's sweet face beaming at me.
It wasn't long until I noticed the pattern of her weekly asks, pleads to stay at her girlfriend's house. It came to a point where all she'd have to do is walk into my office, and I'd just hum.
As we rounded the corner for the pride supplies, Y/n eye's beamed under the fluorescent lights in Target. A raised eyebrow, and a questionable look from me, and she went wild. Grabbing whatever she wanted.
They sold clothes, sleepwear, and so many other pride-like things in that small section. I could say at that moment, I was truly happy. I'd like to think so was my daughter. Her face beamed and she rounded another corner and found more things.
"Daddy, Daddy look." She yelled, I rounded the corner, and she had another hand full of things. She looked like my baby girl years ago, it sent a thrill of happiness through me. It was nice to see my baby girl truly happy over the simple things in life.
After her party, and meeting her partner. We ushered people out, she kissed her partner goodbye. Shutting the front door I began to clean up, our house was a wreck but nothing I wouldn't do for my daughter.
Y/n yawned as she passed by me to get some paper towels to clean the table's surface. The smile still brightly lit on her face, never losing it throughout the night.
"Thank you, daddy." She said another yawn interpreting her speech. She again looked and reminded me of her younger self. I set the garbage bag down and set it down on the clean couch. "Come her doll," I said reaching out for her hand.
The click of her heels was gone, and she sat down next to me. Leaning her head into my shoulder. "You're welcome, my dear," I said. Slightly she lifted herself and kissed my forehead. Another thing her mother used to do. In an intimate moment, it's funny how many things she grasped from her mother.
"I love you, daddy." She whispered as she settled back against my shoulder. "I love you, my dear," The words coming out like water from a faucet. Something I was so used to sayin' and in a moment like this, I would and could repeat that precious phrase over and over again.
We fell asleep downstairs on the couch, my daughter tightly under my arm, her breathing slowed. And I hoped and wished for her to just stay this age. The age where she still needs me. All she's ever had was just me, and all I've had as been her. I don't know what I'll do when she grows up.
What I do know is that she'll be just like her mother in life. Sweet, kind, daring, and brave. The most important thing though is that she'll still be my sweet baby girl.

I have a suggestion to make: everybody stop making memes about that super straight "movement" or whatever the fuck this is and it will die out in 3 days maximum. They literally crave your attention so as long as they are only posting bullshit on social media who tf cares. Also this kind of shit has been going around for years, it blew up these days because it gets this much attention so stop.
