Marvel And DC Lose The Trademark OF The Word Superhero

So something I and many others didn't know is that Marvel and DC had awhile back made a joint trademark over the word super hero, and of course as a means to stamp out compettion.

Recently S.J. Richold the author of a comic series called Superbabies fought against this trademark and eventually it has been undone. Now the word superhero a broad term that can even be regarded as a genre itself is no longer a trademark owned by DC and Marvel.
