Why do we often look in the mirror?

Why do we look in the mirror? When we know all that we will see looking back is the same face we know.

The same face, is it that we hoping for something new?

Are we hoping that we are different ? Prettier ?

Are we hoping for a change? Are we hoping that our makeup isn’t messed or we don’t look less prettier then we thought or see ourselves

Are we hoping that the person looking back is still there? Are we assuring that we are still who we think we are? Are we just reminding ourselves who we are…if we even know who we are.

Ok so it turns out the art block was just stress from Finals cause even tho I still have yet to recieve my final scores for the Semester, I’ve gotten pretty much all of the super stressful finals out of the way and magically my hand decided to start working again

So yeah heres my take on the couple from the Captain Gore storyline. In my Haunted Mansion HC/AU, Bartholomew and Pricsilla are Master Gracey’s parents (I’ll explain the context of that some other time in another drawing I have planned but yeah). But yeah I’m really happy with how this one turned out
